Nothing much... on 6th, Tuesday, I went to Pixars 20 years of Animation exhibition in London... man it was beautiful! Check [link] Shame there's no talks on that day! Would of been sweet! It was also a shame that photos were not allowed but I got the book which cost £25 (@__@) Expensive but worth it! Then after that went to the arcades... totally hooked on Cooper 9, House of the dead 4 (you have a uzi gun and you have to shake of the zombies) But man... I miss my Ghost Squad... Soory about this edit but anyone in the UK. Please help! If you are a electrian or knows a electrian, it's about domestic plug fuses. Question - Is it ok to use a 13amp fuse in a 10amp plug?? I thought in theory that this would blow out the hardware and fuse together but my stupid brother thinks that using a 5 amp should work which I'm not going to do, if I did that the current would be too much and blow up. Man... I feel like poo. Been working like I never worked before, since that we're one person short here at the takeaway. All the preparations of cutting raw meat and cooking for lazy customers.

I don't want to use the Smudge tool because when I used it it looked very wrong!! TT___TT; I don't know whether if you could blend colours properly when you're using hard round brush or not?? I pretty much read on artists tutorials in DA but it doesn't explain alot. So, please could anyboby help?

I heard about this in the morning and I still didn't know what the whole comotion was about. Until I read one story and a third party's piles of investigated stuff.

I was shocked!!! Of all things there has been talks about the changes of the whole of DA. Which I have found disturbing and sickening! Plans are talked of filtering out artists who aren't good enough to be separated into "Groups" in DA or out of DA by "high ranks" or "professionals/elite" artists. (My eyes got tired and I can't be bothered to find it to show) But believe me, I'm felt p***ed off!!!

But some how "statistics" determines your "Rank" O_o?? What the F***!! Anyone can cheat that system in sooo many ways! Called "naked females" and "art thieves"

I really peeved and annoyed of the whole situation! And they shouldn't of booted Jark! I feel sorry for Jark since that he has work hard the most building the codes for DA in the beginning! YES!! I have my copy of IFS!!! It's sooooooo nice and so many great artists TTwTT Sweety goodness!!

If you guys don't know what I'm on about check this [link] It's a limited batch (2000) of these and it's very high quaility too!! It was annoying that it was paperback because it had creases TTnTT;.... but the artbook is signed by *Artgerm, *kunkka, `ukitakumuki and Edmund T. Shern, so that made up for everything!!

I'm very glad that I got it! Just hope that it would continue to further more issues *fingers crossed*

I really don't think that he did any reading nor even read the instructions. The things that he did were, not removing all of the vinyl tiles, laying a 1.5cm thick of concrete, which it clearly said 3mm thick. What else... not measuring the area of the room before buying the supplies, killing the door by removing 5cm off so that it doesn't hit the floor! The list goes on!!!! TT_____TT;

Sometimes I really do think that men aren't so practical after all. Guys prove me wrong on this!!!!!!

I'm very sorry that I haven't been around DA posting stuff up and not commenting alot but I pretty much have a load of dead ends

1. Even now I have electricity... (thank goodness) the line is been use but my brother to download anime. TT__TT

2. I have my second computer up and running and Painter 9 is such a sweet arse program. Along side other such as 3D Max 6, Photoshop CS, Alias Sketchbook, and Dreamweaver. Sooo.... I have more learning on my to do list.

3. I pretty much been lazy because it's sooooo god damn hot over here, I guess the UK summer is hitting off right now. And my PC over heated too much cause of the weather and maybe the overclocking the system.

Ok... it's been about a week and a bit and the electric is still not up and running. I'm using my sister's comp (man... PC sucks) but using an extension plug from downstairs up to her room. Plus I got paid T___T miniuim of 4 months... can't remember exact time but it's over 4 months wagers. Now I have money to spend and get some thing for my mate who I haven't seen for a year... even though he actually lives down the street from me. How is everyone? Well... I'm ok but I'm very hungry at the moment and need a hearty hot meal... *stomach rumbles* Reason why that I'm starved is that the takeaway is running in some improvements and the kitchen is out of order... So that means that we (sis and bros) have to have either Domino's pizza or KFC and for the munchies, loads and loads and loads of crisps (potato crisps). Which is very unhealthly.

Sorry, that I haven't been surfing online for some time... T_T I have been working, tired and very uninspired for the past months. I have checked on everyone's stuff but I left them uncommented and undeleted, I will get back to them when I have the time and line (still have 56k line)

I have done abit of drawing and painting but slightly struggling redoing the 5 page manga that I couldn't enter and (mostly redrawing the poses that I don't feel it looked right and also changed the story like a dozen times) >____< Stupid brain not working!

I gave away my 19in monitor to my sister, since that A. I didn't get her a B-day present and B. the old monitor was this s*** box which filled my table and left little space for the keyboard but no mouse to place it. Lucky enough that she didn't ask for my graphics card (Sis, I know that you are reading this )

I have been looking back on my old projects that I didn't finish and I really should try and complete them T__T; So... I will have to go and finish everything that I had planned to do from last year!!

Story is that she ran into the shop next door which is a convenience store. The member of staff's father from the store decided to take her to their home for the (Sat) night and all day Sunday because the shelter didn't open on Sunday and he couldn't hang on to Lucky for the rest of the week because his daughter has asthma. So was taken to the AWC centre. At that time on Sunday back at home we thought that Lucky was ran over. (This was unknown to me and family at the time)

Until on Friday, I decided to look in our local newspaper to check any sightings. I did find one description but it wasn't right... I got over of myself and read it wrong!!! T_T Don't ask, I just woken up from a strange dream relating to Lucky at 9am and didn't have a good sleep.

But somehow she gave me some information about two lost dogs in my village, she told me about them and one definitely fitted the description!!! So I went next door and asked if there was anyone who was there on Sat or heard of a dog running in to the shop.

Yep, got the information and rang up the AWC centre! And I bloody had to wait for them to meet up. It was tense and very stressful! Pretty much the place was in the middle of nowhere! TmT

But Yes... finally we found her and I phoned my sister the great news and hopefully she will meet dog today But first she needs a proper bath and needs plumping up because she didn't eat anything while she was away!!!

Man... she is Lucky, Lucky!!

The family dog ran away and found her with bad news, I had to break the bad news to my sister and I fuckin hate my dad. Heartless piece of shit of a human being! Sorry to show that side but it was him who opened the door while there were fireworks still firing.

God... I really do miss her. I keep on leaving a bit of food on the floor, fluff the duvet for her to sleep on then in the morning, I poke her to wake up. Cruel to wake her but she looked cute.

19th July

Second day in Takamatsu and feeling great, I didn't have a hangover because I don't have hangovers! Aren't I lucky!? But anyway we decided to go somewhere I wanted to go and see the "Demon island" but I think Dee wanted more to see the mountains for today so, decided to go to Yashima but we ate breakfast first and went. Mmmm... sushi!!

So we headed out and decided to go to Yashima, here's the info of Yashima followed by "Demon Island":-

Yashima- we went

The 292m high table-top plateau of Yashima stands five km east of the centre of Takamatsu. Today, it's the site of the Yashima-ji Temple (No 84 on the temple circuit) and offers fine views over the surrounding countryside and the Inland sea, but in the 12th century it was the site of titanic struggles between the Genji and Heike clans. The temple's treasure-house collection relates to the battle. Just behind the treasure house is the Pond of Blood, where the victorious warriors washed the blood from their swords, staining the water red.

Demon Island- I wanted to go

Just offshore from Yashima is Megi-jima Island also known as (Oniga-shima in Japanese) Demon Island. Several homes on the island are surrounded by Oote, high walls built to protect the houses from the waves, wind and ocean spray. It was here that Momotaro, the legendary 'Peach boy', met and conquered the horrible demon.

The tiny 'Peach boy' who emerged from the stone of a peach and backed up by a monkey, a pheasant and a dog, defeated a three-eyed, three-toed, people-eating demon.

See, how interesting is that!! XD

But the views on Yashima were breathtaking! You see the wonderful islands and you can see the Seto-oohashi bridge that me and Dee travelled on, plus it the longest bridge in the world and it was windy which was refreshing since the weather is getting hotter!

We walk around the place and there like a temple with this huge raccoon statue which guards the temple. Dee took quite a few of my ugly mug face with the statue and other places. T-T Damn it why! So, we ate and did some more sight seething on the top of the mountain on the other side and then we had to go back to our hotel because Dee said that she was tired, in a exhausted way, so we took our naps. Until we went out 2 hours later for some Indian food... what? They have Indian over there! But it was ok....... except the soup which had 5cm of oil. But the rest was delicious!

After that we decided to go for a drink this very quiet bar, then we thought that it was too quiet and ended up going to "Vogue" again, as usual I drank more than Dee because she driving in the morning, again I was drinking and smoking, while Dee chatted I did get a bit tipsy... I was in the giggling phrase and somehow, it was time to close because there wasn't much business by then. So we left and got our breakfast and a few of munchies before we go to sleep. As usual I got myself a ice cream just like yesterday but then I wanted some coffee too, so got our stuff, paid and walk to the hotel. As we got in to our room we chatted for a while (girlie, personal shit) and ate our munchies.

An hour later we went to sleep and some how I didn't feel very well and ran into the bathroom and fell sick. Yep, I threw up. Why? It's was the cold coffee that set me up. So I'm pretty much ok with an ice cream but an ice cream with cold coffee BIG no no!!!

Then Dee came in to the bathroom and got me a glass of water. I was fine and I asked her to go to sleep while I hurled in the toilet. Which she did and then few minutes later I finished, flushed it and brushed my teeth and went to sleep. LOL

20th July

Ok... pretty much we had to get up and leave for Hiroshima today, and Dee said that I skunk the bathroom....thanks Dee, but the plus side she told me that I was very tidy whiles being sick! I was like "huh? O_o?" As always you really don't know what that means until she said "My friends puke in the sink" Wha????????? Don't anybody think it's sensible to use the toilet than the sink! I was drunk but not that drunk! I hope that Japanese people aren't like this T-T

SO, yeah... we left Takamatsu and headed to Hiroshima!! Yes! I always wanted to go there! Hee hee. Anyway, we reached to Hiroshima about 4 hours from Takamatsu. 18th July

Horray! It was time to do a 'Thelma and Louise' trip now. We're was going to Takamatsu which Dee had to drive down south. I didn't know how to drive since that I'm scared of the road! Don't ask! All I know is to park the car! But anyway, we're at Takamatsu and it's such a lovely place. We found our hotel and we went sight seeing. We went to see the Takamatsu castle which is AKA Tamamo Castle. Abit of history lesson for you lot...

'Tamamo Castle was built in 1590 during the feudal times by Lord Ikoma who ruled Takamatsu. The Ikoma family was later succeeded by 11 generations of the Matsudeira family, who ruled over the greater part of the province of Sanuki for 228 years.

In those days Tamamo Castle was onw of the rarest sea castles to be found in Japan. The castle town gradually developed into a center of politics, economics and transportation.

In 1869, after the Meiji Restoration, the castle was turned over to the was department, but in 1890 it was returned to it former owner, the Matsudaira family. During this period, the orignal castle grounds were drastically reduced to its present size, the castle tower and some watch towers demolished and the outer moats : filled in to make more space for the city of Takamatsu. Since 1954, the castle has been owned and maintained by the Municipality of Takamatsu. The present area is about 80,000 square meters.

Wow, it was just amazing and so beautiful!! I must say, for a tiny place it's just sooo cool. Recommend to anyone to go there!! But since that we didn't do much on that day because we woke up at Dee's at 9am and left the place at 10:30am and reached to Takamatsu round about 4 to 5pm and only walked around where everything is and did the walk in the Tamano Castle. *phew* we then decided to head back to the hotel once we finished and had a nap... well, Dee did because she drove and I took a shower and did research.

We got ready to go out and left the hotel about 7:30pm and went walk about in Takamatsu's shopping arcade (mall), and we walk by at this game shop as we were looking for a place to eat and basically I was like "Can we go in here for a moment?". She said "Yeah, sure", we went and I checked the prices of some of the stuff and find but no strong luck, so we decided to go but as usual I saw ^Donkey Konga on display and decided to have a game. I did ask Dee if she wanted to have a go but she didn't want to and I ended up playing, I think that I got too much into the game and clapped soooooo loud that the claps echoed abit in the shopping arcade and the owner of the game store came out and looked at me O_O *Argh, busted*

^Donkey Konga, for people who don't know roughly what the game is, it's a bongo game on the Gamecube, you hit the either left, right or both and there's a sound sensor (well... it's a mic but it switches off for a while) and it's such a fun game. Note: on the DK2 it has "Monkey Magic" XD unbelievable!

God, I think that he thought I was mad, so I finished my go and left! XD Man... I think everyone heard me *ducks her head lower* but we, I, I mean had fun. We then found a place to eat and man... it was delicious! But a tad oily TnT. We had this beef which was fed beer and man... that was tough to eat @_@, very chewy and tasted nice. Then we ate this sesame seed mochi, chicken on skewers, and some other stuff that I really can't remember but we finished it off with a bottle of sake, which Dee suggested! So, we did and I thought it was sooo weak but se told me that it will kick in a few moments! Well, I waited and nothing happened so we left the restaurant and walked about finding a place to drink since it was like near 8pm.

We didn't know which place to go to because it was literally, I mean, literally loads of places to drink, alot of hostess bars and little bars which aren't hosted. We couldn't decided whether to go into the bars until we decided it with a game of Rock, paper scissors.

The rules were:-

1. We stand roughly outside the door.

2. We then take turns calling out, like if I was calling if I win, we don't go in and vice-verse.

Until a few games later (about 5 games), we reached to one certain place called "Vogue", Dee won this round and we opened the door and basically it was a quiet hostess bar. -_-; I think the people though "OMG, girls!?" 15th July

Well...I seem ok and the weather here is bloody killing me, plus I haven't ate that much since that I haven't felt like eating, mostly drinking and walking! Man... I was really hungry but I learnt to hold it until some guy decides to have a MacD's on the bloody train... thankfully that my stomach didn't scream of starvation! But anyways, today is the day that I have to go to Kyoto, I hope that this would work since that I went to the vending machine ticket to Kyoto T_T Well, I'm scared but it has to be done. *shrugs shoulders*

Holy crabs, few hours later! I actually got on the wrong train... well it was the right train but it went to the opposite direction! *T_T* I was embarrassing and frustrating since it was hot! Awww... man this is exhausting, plus on top of that I nearly missed the bullet train with a few minutes to spare to get on the right train. I then got lost on which platform to go on which was a arse. But this cool mid 30s guy helped me, very sweet of him. But yeah I had to go up the escalators to platform 33 for the bullet train. Finally that I'm on the train, I can relax from the weather and sleep. Damn it, I can smell burgers But still I'm having fun and it's cool to be here! Can't wait to see my friend tomorrow!! But I'm dreading that I have to use this train to come back but hopefully this will grow on me!!

ARGH!!! Kyoto is mad and crazy place! I can't find a map and nobody is sending me to the different direction!!!! Plus I don't think that they even know their own city!! O_o I think that I have gone crazy, I have been walking for 2 hours to find my hostel and this hostel said that it's "10 mins from the station". I can't find any decent street signs and I'm f***ing panicking!!!

30 mins later... I decided to take a taxi since that this is my last ever resort of action to get anywhere and I had money to burn so it was ok! But yeah I reached to the hostel and I'm decided to 'not' go out of Kyoto and stay in my room, hungry and thirsty. But at least I had a cold shower to calm and cool myself!!! Damn this air con doesn't seem that powerful and it hard to operate, only Japanese @_@ Ok, so... right now I have to go to sleep now because I'm very tired from the walking and I have no energy to do anything! Good early night!

16th July

Going to see my friend, Dee, today, what a friendly face to see, since that I've had trouble in this country, and that I haven't travelled by myself before, but I'm still think that I have handle the trip quite well. Yeah, gold star for me So, I have to go to Takeno which is at the coastal area of Hyogo-ken. So... this should be fun!

Hours later... LOL!!! I have reached to Kinosaki and I have missed the train to Takeno, which is the opposite side of the train that I was on and right now I'm all by myself, well... there are cleaners around but I'm seriously the only passenger on the platform!! It's soooo deserted! O_O *tumbleweed blows across the quiet train station*

I seriously don't know when the next train will arrive and I'm getting hungry, I didn't get a bite to eat only drank alot of cold coffee (mmmm... cold coffee) and water, oh and a pack of mints that I brought from the UK! OMG, sorry that this is out of the blue but I haven't got any mosquito bites!!! Very bizarre! O_O but it will happen though.

I still haven't phoned my parents, well... I did try but the phone is engaged for ages maybe my sister was on the net or something, will try and phone back or something but right now I'm stuck here in the station. With no sign or timetable anywhere for trains going to Takeno, it does worry me that I missed the train or something. But hopefully it would come by... I got the patience of this sort of stuff. I wished that I could smoke, there's no smoking area sign anywhere, yep... in Japan there is always a smoking area that smokers have while waiting for the train or the plane whiles in airports. Especially in the streets... O_O which I forgot to photo. But yeah... also so many recycling stuff going on here too!! Very funky!

12th July

Well... today. I'm on the god damn train and I'm bloody excited and scared at the same time. But mostly tired since that I had to wake up pretty early to catch the train and not be late for the flight. I took the 7:00am train to London and then after that the underground. I just hope that I don't go to the wrong side of the train like last time that I travelled on... To keep the story of that one short, I got on the right track but went on to the different direction.

But anyway, I got to Heathrow Apt. about 9:00am and then there was this long quene. I really couldn't believe it... waiting for ages and soooo... tired as will, also that I didn't eat anything. Man, I pretty much caused an earthquake or something but after an hour I waited for my plane and mostly slept on the flight to Japan. Oh, I did watch an anime and two films, the anime was Tokyo Godfathers, the two films was LOTR:The Return of the King and a japanese film called The Game. Very good but actually never finished watching the LOTR

WOW *u* This is amazing. I'm actually here!! *claps with joy and jumps* I'm at Narita Apt and it's so bloody clean. I pretty needed to find Iidabashi but I didn't know where it was so... I pretty much had to study the train system. And as usual I didn't go to the information center Very stupid of me but I got by.

I got on the Keisei line to Ueno and pretty much I went stupid for some strange reason and travelled the long route of going from Ueno to Shinjuku then to Iidabashi. Instead of travelling to Tokyo and then to Iidabashi, which is more cheaper but I think that I was jetlagged so I didn't know better. I really couldn't believe that it was 33 C!! It was bloody hot!!!! I couldn't believe that I sweated like a waterfall, I usually don't sweat that much in hot weathers but this was mad and I really was melting!! I think that I did lose abit of weight at that time but I don't feel light So, yeah I reached to Iidabashi because I booked the hostel for 2 nights and hopefully I would explore the place. But first I needed to rest up because I need to dump this luggage, it's weighing me down.

Ok... A few moments that I reached to my hostel and somehow the stupid guy was soooo... strict! "Check in at 3 o'clock" Geez, I really thought that he would give me a room, instead he let me put my luggage in the store room. ^_^; Oh well it's better than nothing I guess! But I had to waste pretty much an hour to wait for a room. So, I decided to walk around Iidabashi for a while but the heat was getting to me by that time. Thank goodness for the vending machines which are around pretty much every 5-8 mins within walking distance. >.< Very handy.

I decided to look and study the train system today and it was confusing at first but I reviewed the tracks that I went by and which are the main and alternatives routes to and from places. But by then it was time to go to the hostel and sleep. Seriously I was really knacked, I couldn't keep my eyes open, I was that tried.

14th July

Ok... woken up early, very early. Slightly dazed that the fact I'm here but yep a new day for an adventure. This morning I had breakfast, pretty much a comedy moment, you have to know that I'm still like blank, staring into space that kind of mode. So, erm... Hey ya, my name is Yue-Yue but call me Yue for short since that I credit myself through my 'rubbish' work. I'm a British Born Chinese live in England. I work with my family since they built a takeaway business which I really hate >_< and want to follow my dream on drawing for a living, like a illustrator. But the problem with that is that I can't draw properly LOL

My work

LOL... sorry there's nothing much to say, than it's rubbish and limited I pretty much do, nowadays use the computer on Painter 7 since that it's pretty much the only arty package, there's also Flash MX but the only problem is that I'm abit iffy on that one, well give it a go but I'm sticking to Painter.

I taught myself abit on drawing, mostly observing styles like the people from Deviantart and the Gods, Hayao Miyazaki, Rumiko Takahashi and Akira Toriyama. But it seems that my sister was pretty much pushing force to draw. Because I was jealous of her, drawing Ranma and some of own characters and stuff. So... yeah, mostly my sister and the "Gods".

The "Gods"

At the age of 11, they were my first influence and starting point of my drawings in the long run, but then I heard about Clamp and they're my inspiration because it was very different style from the "Gods". They were more into their fantasy genre and loved RG Vega! Which turned my head towards Final Fantasy's character design, Yoshitaka Amano! Now, I do keep an open mind on artists, like Hiroaki Samura, Masamune Shirow, Wing Shing Ma, there are others but I really can't name them all, long list but I never understood the Saliormoon series. Why it popular?? LOL

Sorry, this is added: There are also people on the net who are very much 'Gods' in the virtual world like Jo Chen, Robert Chang, *noah-kh (forgot real name TnT), Randis Abalion person, again there are alot of people to mention which I haven't got time to type, time is money thing. I seriously wished that I would be a grain, maybe a tiny granule of their ace talent. Shame though, better push myself!

Afterwords

I really think that I'm in the middle, meaning that I can draw but I pretty much learning. I have pretty much have a list of flaws that I have major problems with my art is the backgrounds, groups, guys, and generally ideas. But I hopefully will strive to learn and improve, what ever the cost maybe. So I guess that's it from me, I have literally wasted about 7 minutes of your life. LOL

Depends, if the artist wants something that I wanted to draw under a day, but if it's something with is out of the blue alot of weeks.

Sometimes, I do keep the one's on paper, but with digital it's hard to remember... So I leave a post-it saying "Save rough"

10] What kind of font do you use most often?
American typewriter and Cochin.

11] What's the dpi when you scan?
Don't know how to change it, but it always be at 70 dpi

12] Do you do anything else when you're drawing pictures?
Listening to the radio/IPOD, and sometimes watch television.

Depends, with artist's block, two pictures. Without, maybe about 10. I haven't got a busy life, I'm a slacker in my own home.

A4 and A5

15] What kind of paper do you use for sketches and drafts?
Toilet paper what do you think?

16] How long does it take to ink something?
Don't ink, time wasting!

No... because I'm lousy at telling stories!

Yeah I do, but haven't tried it.

Was going to but first reason - can't use first hand materials anymore second reason - they refuse digital art!

Erm... I have to say the one's that first pop into my head are, Noah-ah, Robert Chang, Hiroaki Samura, Clamp, Hayao Miyazaki, Masamune Shirow, Kenichi Sonoda, Kosuke Fujishima, and Wing Shing ma!

Chobits, Blade of the immortal, Ranma 1/2, Gunsmith cats, Ah, my goddess and Great Teacher Onizuka.
