Oye, if you could have an audio recording of what I am listening to, you would start wearing ear plugs... Yeah, four midgets can make a lot of noise. But we are making an effort to eat last year's halloween candy. The best stuff is long gone, but we still got sweets, and they don't go bad... Well, I posted some more, Yeah for Me! I have also opened up some old binders full of drawings I did years ago, and actually started to redraw some of them. I plan on coloring them and then posting them. I love going over my old stories, but looking at the drawings kind of annoy me since I know that I can do way better now. Even if I haven't been drawing lots lately, I can draw better than most of what is in my binders. If I am smart... I will even throw away the old drawings after they are redone so I don't have to look at them ever again. Have a large collection as it is of my progressively improved art. I look at what I did a decade ago, and I go, "why on earth did I think I did such a great job on that?" I mean, some of the art that I used to display on my walls makes me want to throw it out because it is so terrible that I don't want to see it ever again, let alone have someone else see it. And that is no exaggeration, I have a watercolor of a pinto/arabian horse that I picked up yesterday to look at, and was amazed that one of the legs was half the length of the other. That is actually a minor detail since the entire horse had major proportion problems. Anyways, my youngest is demanding my attention. Adios for the time being.

This is the first time since the end of September since I have had my computer connected to the internet...sadly it took two weeks longer than it should have to have the floor in the kitchen laid down, and so I didn't have a date for the phone company to connect the line. I had this weird false belief that I would be able to do things on deviant, like commenting on new Deviations and replying to messages while staying at my in-laws, but their internet provider lacks many qualities which they complain about but never changes it. Well, I could go to Deviant Art, but I couldn't sign in for some unknown reason, and I know it had issues because every time I brought up the page, you could see problems in the way it loaded. It didn't make me suffer in only keeping me from seeing what was new, but the computer also refused to let me check one of my email accounts.

I am tired and worn out, did a lot of cleaning and stuff...a lot of unpacking, and it doesn't help when the previous resident seemed indifferent whether she left the house clean or dirty. We now own a broken swingset left in the backyard, although my hubby says that he can fix it up. As I am tired and spent my last energies on playing WarCraft III, I will comment and reply to the multitude of Deviantions and messages.

On the interesting side of things, this morning when I got up...I made a discovery that is under the category of "welcome to parenthood"
*On the kitchen table, a small plate with three waffles stacked on it
*Next to that is a now half-empty bottle of syrup
*And part of a stick of butter sitting in what didn't stay on the plate

A very sticky mess to have to clean up, and then I saw the now thawed package of three more waffles sitting by the toaster...and by the way, it looked as if the butter and syrup were applied to the bottom waffle which had a single bite taken out of it. The other two waffles were untouched other than being apart of the mess.

This was done by the same child that found daddy's arcylic paint set last week and hid under my solid wood computer desk and painted the nestbox for breeding parakeets. Fortunately, I found him in the process. At that point, he had painted the perch with great care, Bright Blue, and was a bit more sloppy with the Bright Orange as he attempted to paint the front of the nestbox. The clothes he was wearing were nice enough for a young boy to wear to church before he got into paint...fortunately, the orange was still very wet on the carpet and I was able to clean it all up, unfortunately, it sticks all too well to my computer desk...I suppose I could try to sand it off or something.

Anyway, I got to go now...a little girl is polluting to air with the stench of her diaper.

I will literally be in oblivion for the most part. I will be packing up this computer as soon as I finish this journal and so ends any future posting, until we have moved into the larger home that I will be living in for a good while...infact, when we get there, I will throw away all the boxes, and I mean all of them, no more saving boxes, we move way too often, and the house we are moving to, we plan on staying in for a long time to come, it is right where we want to be. Perhaps someday we will buy it from the current owner, since all he does with it is rent it out. Good bye oil furnace smelling, hobo infested bomb shelter that we are finally saying good bye to, and hello much larger house in the country at the end of a dead end road, and no yappy dogs in every direction.
All our accumulation of stuff doesn't seem to pack itself very efficiently, so I the ring master of the curcius need to whip some boxes into shape and get them stacked up in an unorganized fashion. And does anyone want to volenteer to do my dishes so I can pack them up as well? No? bummer...too bad my helpers have been major hinderences as of late...and I need more tape. Anywho, it should be about two to three weeks before I can get my computers up and running, although I will have a dinasaur of a computer available to me so I will be able to make comments, but only from the bleachers. I gotta go now, the boxes are waiting for me to command them.

I survived sixteen hours of driving as the only adult...two toddlers don't provide much company but plenty of stress. Fortunately for me, my kids do pretty well on long car rides. While I was spending a little over a week with my parents (having delivered their new granite bathroom countertop and the boxes of grass plugs) we went to a theme park and had a blast on the rides.

My son enjoyed watching the rollercoasters zipping by while we were standing in lines, and when he finally got to ride the kiddie rollercoaster, he was prepared...arms high in the air and screaming at the top of his lungs. Later, out of curiousity, we had him stand by the height restriction sign for one of the wooden rollercoasters, and he was only three or four inches short to ride...a tiny bit too short when he stood on tippie toe, as if he were attempting to make up the height difference. He couldn't get enough of any of the rides and wanted to go on them all. While grandma took the kids to the kiddie area, the rest of us went for some thrill rides (giving me a chance to go on rides that kids can't).

One of the rides that we did was simular to the ferris wheel, but you are in a cage that can spin around using a steering wheel, and I like to spin. Well, I rode in one with my little brother (he was super exicited because he had never ridden on the ride before) and I controlled the steering wheel. We had a bit of a wait for the rest of the cages to be filled up since we had gotten in the first one, and so I was spinning us pretty good for a while. As we neared the top of the ride...still waiting for a complete load of passengers...two people per cage and there are sixteen cages and we were in number one...my brother suddenly goes, "Ugh...I tasted my hot dogs." Any intellegent person would know, Oh no, he almost puked. I immediately righted the cage and asked how he was doing. As we were at the very top, I allowed him to take the wheel. His hands were tense, and his whole body shaking, I don't think a single muscle in his body was relaxed. Once the ride started spinning around, I noticed that my brother had relaxed noticeably and tried a little turning, because otherwise the ride is pretty boring to me. Well, I recieved an immediate response that spinning was a lot better when the ride was moving...so I went all out and we were the only ones spinning like crazy. My Dad doesn't like the ride and watched us go, he knew at all times which one my brother and I were in since we were spinning like crazy and also knew where my sister and her friend were since they were upright at all times.

Moral of the story:
Beware of people next to you mentioning having just tasted the hot dogs they ate hours before.

Some time ago, Saiherah got tagged, won't mention exactly how long ago that was...
She has so many quirks, I don't know where to start...so we'll see how many I list before becoming too exhausted to go on further.

1. Saiherah is not human or one particular beast. No one really knows what she is, but she appears to be human.

2. Frequently becomes a clutz at random and relearns how to walk and move her body to accomplish any task, no matter how simple.

3. At the same time she becomes a clutz, she also forgets everything that has happened for various lengths of time (usually atleast a week and sometimes a whole month).

4. She occassionally exhibits dragon-like powers (like producing fire) and doesn't even realize it.

5. Any trouble she creates (like burning down the tent in her sleep) she blames on her older brother, and never gets in trouble.

6. She gets anything and everything she wants from her brother, even if she wasn't serious about the request.

7. Talks to a horse like it were a person, and even holds the outhouse door open so it can back up and use the facility.

8. Even though she has frequent gaps in her memory, she always calls the horse, who becomes her traveling companion, Bugsy.

9. On occassion she is completely awkard in her movements, as if she doesn't belong upright on two legs, and other times she is so graceful it seems every movement is carefully planned.

10. When it comes to water of any kind, there are times she immediately jumps in and tries to submerge, even if it is a small mud puddle, and any canteen of water is immediatley poured over her head and tells everyone that if the water all evaporates, she is going to be very ill or die.

11. Cannot run, something always goes wrong. One time her arms attacked her legs and she swayed from side to side as if in the middle of a battle.

12. One thing she never forgets is her brother, and when she is apart from him for prolonged periods of time, she becomes confused, dazed, and almost tormented internally.

Well, Saiherah has forgotten that she can tag others...is a bit preoccupied with eating a salad, not even using a fork, she is just eating it straight out of the bowl.

I am happy to report that we sold our problemsome blazer because it died on us for the last time, and it is now someone else's problem. We have now bought a different blazer that is ten years older than the previous one, but worth a whole lot more and is full size instead of the s-10 we had. Soon I will be getting an engine for it and it will be a fun ride.

Ever been on a less used road when a tire explodes? Happened to me yesterday, out on a Sunday drive...it was supposed to be a family walk, but where we went, the mosquitos were out in force just after it had rained and we were dinner for the aerial attackers without any bugspray. I was feeling lucky that my hubby is very good fixing cars and most anything mechanical. We have had the Blazer for two years now, and had never taken the tires off before and the tires were still really good. Well, we discovered that we needed a phillips screwdriver (all we had in the car were flathead screwdrivers) to remove the hubcap. Well, by the time I found a strong enough screwdriver to do the job, a jeep stopped to help us out, and we needed all the help we could get. Under the lugnuts were LOCKS, which we didn't have a tool to remove. After much banging, hammering, and other brutal attacks, all but one wheel lock was removed. We then pulled the spare tire off the back of the Blazer for lack of better things to do, and discover that it is two sizes larger than the other three tires. Well, we borrowed the cell phone of the couple that stopped to help (and as cell phones go, we were in the middle of no where and couldn't get coverage where we were parked, but could from where the jeep was parked a 50 feet infront of us) and called my father-in-law and had him bring out some different tools that none of us had available. With the tools brought, my hubby was able to hammer a socket on the last lock and wrench it off. Then we put the large spare tire on and drove ALMOST straight down the road and home. That is my adventure, and the Blazer has taken its second blood sacrifice in the past week, it doesn't seem satisfied. My hubby seems to have his hands split open every time he touches the thing.

Well, on Saturday, I was very happy to have ridden Lady. Although at first she was expecting me to take her to the pasture of one of the neighboring horses, but I got her rapt attention with a little punishment for miss behavior at the beginning of the ride. We used the nearly round circle she created in the center of her pasture as our riding ring, and she was very good at arching her neck (and she looks somewhat Arab -which she isn't- when she does that) and holding her head properly. With the work I have given her over time, we have achieved a nice jog-trot barely over the walk. Our next goal is collecting the canter, which we do sometimes. This is the more difficult step, since Lady is long legged and has thouroughbred blood that tells her that she has a need for speed. Since I have never raced her against anyone else, I don't know how fast she is in comparison to others, but I have feel the power under me in the saddle. It was interesting that on my ride two days ago, she collected in her left lead (which is her bad lead), and wouldn't in her right lead. Although, I think it is due to the fact that we cantered to the left first, and that got her racing blood flowing, and so she was then stretching her canter to the right. Oh well, she did well, and behaved very nicely during the workout. And then, I had my hubby put our three year old in the saddle while I sat behind. Lady thought that our ride was over and was hoping that she would get her grain, but reluctantly went the way I indicated to go. John (my little boy) had a huge grin plastered to his face. We trotted a little bit, and tried to end the ride then, but John would have none of it. We ended up forcefully pulling him down and putting him on the tailgate of the Blazer where Lady was eating her grain out of the bin. He was temporarily content with petting her and giving her hugs as she ate. Well, we couldn't stay forever, since we had other things to do, so after the grain was all gone, we started to talk John into getting into his carseat willingly. Did not work. So, I asked him if he wanted to sit on Lady, that was answered with a definite affirmative. So he went from Lady's back and forced into the car...kicking and screaming about leaving Lady.

Oh well, that is my life at the moment. Trying to find a new tire and such. Perhaps I may find sanity along the way, but I don't see that possible.

I have a horrible head cold that has been affecting my thinking, and my hearing. Although my hearing is suffering from refusing to equalize on the trip back from Yellowstone National Park on Saturday. My ear cracked instead of popped like it should have. I did take some pictures of Yellowstone, including a Large Mommy Grizzly with 2 small cubs. Although because the zoom is really bad on my digital camera, all you can see is a large dark blob of the mother. Fortunately, the video camera had great zoom, and I got video of the cubs playing together and running around their mommy. It is soo nice living so close to the Park, we will be going a few more times this year so we paid a little extra at the entrance for an annual pass and will be able to take as many day trips as we want. I hope that my cold goes away soon so I can consentrate.

Wow, I got caught up on all the messages that piled up while I ignored the computer entirely. Now I will go to my burnt out mac to play in Photoshop. If anyone asks why my mac is fried, it is all Hero's fault, he blew it apart with Wing Zero. The roommates I had at the time are my witnesses. Well, the computer techs say that there isn't anything wrong, even though I saw the black smoke coming out the back smelling of fried circuits. Anyway, I have in progress my attempt of a bishie, my I add that it would be the First ever attempt. I need to go, I hear the selves of anime being unloaded onto the floor and the big brother giggling at the scene. Must stop the onslaught...

I procrastinate on journaling my taggedness. (is that a word? it is now, says me). I don't know how to do the little "links." Well, I guess I could learn. But that is my current excuse. I do plan on doing it, but I need time to figure out my quirks, other than the "rainbow eyes" I get when I smile or laugh. It's genetic. I am probably strange enough as it is compared to my sisters. I have actually had a boyfriend, not to mention a husband. Not at the same time though, don't get me wrong. In the future, I may post some of his art on my page and mark it as his. He does realism and scenery, but, like myself, don't take much time to do it. I can proudly say that I got him hooked on various animes. Kinda helps when you want to spend money to buy them as well. (Proud owners of three full seasons of Kenshin on DVD, a whole lot of DBZ and DBGT on tape, Shinesmen (the greatest anime), and am currently working on my Inuyasha DVD collection) Yeah! I love anime! And I snatched someone who got corrupted by ME! Oh am I evil. Mwahaha. as long as he does read my declaration I am all right, I hope. Anyways, I will be trying to get some more Deviations posted before going to bed.

Well, I woke up this late morning and was pleased to see that the offending Journal Entry was gone. Maybe it arrived on my page because I had tried to submit another journal entry. But before I had signed off, the entry had over 1,300 comments and the number was climbing. My uneducated guess is that it was somehow viral and infected anyone trying to add a journal entry last night, and the comments (since you couldn't read them) were actually the number of people trying to add or change their journal entries. If that was the case, about 20 of the comments would be mine. Well, at least it is over and hopefully gone for good.

I had been planning on submitting one piece of art last night, but no longer wanted to since I had problems with the journal. Well, I am pretty much over my cold, but then yesterday morning I looked outside and saw.... Luckily, it melted by the end of the day. Crazy weather that I live in. A year before I moved to the area, it was in the middle of July. Freaky weather. Well, I am glad that I am not a weather forecaster, I would be fired. I can only tell you what the current weather is like. Anyways, life is going. I will submit more finished art later today or tomorrow.

My mind is gone, and I want to pen several drawings in. So I await a knock on the door from the delivery guy, then I will use the brand new pens to define the pencil drawings that I have all over the house...Mostly out of reach of small children that love the sound of paper ripping and the mess they can make with tiny bits all over the floor. The K-Mart ads lived a short while before the largest piece was three inches square.

I congradulate all artists that can accomplish any type of art with young children around. And please don't comment on spelling, I have the vocabulary and attention span of a preschooler. Not to mention that the Garfield movie has been playing a few times a day for the last few days. Atleast it is a rental, so I will not be plagued for time and all eternity.

Well, when the rain clears up, and my cold goes away, I plan on riding my horse as much as I can. Freedom from all my worries, cares, and other responsibilities.
