Hmm what's been happening the past few days......

Nothing exciting. XD I had Friday off, and I have tomorrow off, but then it's BACK TO PRISON AAAGH! And I wonder if we're gonna have band practice anymore... We got scores of 2 but we're not going to state or whatever, blegh.
We played Our Heritage, Evening Prayer, and the BlackHawk Overture. I love the BlackHawk Overture, I always play both my Orchestra Bells and the Xylophone right next to me in band class, but never in practice or performing. I wonder if we would have gotten any extra points if I had played the extra part in BlackHawk Overture...

EDIT: A good friend of mine gave me a CD and told me to listen to the Track 11 and tell him what I thought of it.
So I got home and popped the CD into my comp and started playing it and was like "Ohhh it's so soft..." then I listened to the lyrics....
I started crying.
Then it went off and I was like NUUU~ and put it on repeat.
I listened to it a few more times, making sure I got all the lyrics in my head.
Then later I looked in the little thing the CD was in and saw that there was something inside it...
My first thought was "Is it some kind of playlist or something?" but OH I couldn't have been more wrong. I started reading it and kept thinking "Is this... for ME?" and I was constantly flipping it over to the back to make sure it was to me and not someone else. In the note, he asked me out~

I'm just really happy now~

Okay. There was this guy I kinda liked. He asked me to homecoming, so I said "Yeah, okay." Well, after the game, I get home, hurry to get changed, and hurry up to the school for the dance. I was so happy. I'd only danced once, and I was hoping to dance again. Well, I get there, and he's wearing this really spiffy tux. He'd said his family didn't have enough money to comfortably afford a corsage(sp?) for me, blah blah blah. POOR. So he pays his way in and walks off. I'm there, like, wha? So I use all of my money to get my own self in. He was supposed to pay for my entrance fee, no? So when we get in there, he says he doesn't like to slow dance. I got upset, I thought I would get to dance once more. I'm in the 9th grade, haven't danced since 7th. I'm lonely... Nobody wants to get close to me... Anyways, we get in there, and just sit down. EVERYONE was dancing, except for me and him. So some friends come, and they say Why don't you two dance? He says Dancing just isn't me. I turn away... After a while, he gets up for a fast dance. He walks around in a square, looking like a total idiot. I laugh a little to myself. Then, the Six Flags techno song thing comes on, and I get up and bounce here and there and use up all of the energy that I had. Then, he goes, after the dance, and gets himself a drink. He comes back, expecting to just sit there and drink that in front of me, with me having no money. So I get up and say Chris, I need fifty cents. Why don't you have money? I spent all of it on my entrance fee. Oh, well, here's.... fifty cents.... um... So I take it, and get myself a drink. Later, he tells me that he'll probably go after the last song, so I'm like Okay, I'm sure everyone will. I sat there, and watched everyone dance. For a second, I cried. I turn, to wipe my tears, and turn back to see nobody there. He just up and left me there, didn't even say bye, nothing. Now, my goal in school is to make him miserable.

yeah! He hurt me, and I won't let him forget that. He sucks, not homecoming.

At the homecoming game, when rolling the xylophone out onto the field, with my bells on top of it, we hit a hole, the xylophone tilted, and the bells fell with a crash. Everyone saw it. I picked them up, got them positioned, and we played Can You Feel The Love Tonight for the people. I had really had my hopes up... but oh well.
