XD I thought the white version is the most well-known and it compliments with Kaito's white coat well (not to mention, I ended up drawing two pictures of that version XD). But then again, black and red also look really look good together and my friend also thinks the black version is good..

I'm not sure how long it's been, maybe 2-3 weeks? But it felt like an eternity.. T_T I realized from the long absence just how much this place means to me... Being able to share my art with everyone, getting your comments/feedback on my work, and talking to such wonderful people here really makes my day so much happier.. And suddenly not being able to do that feels like it took a piece of me away.. o_o I don't think I could survive without DA now, but it's really because of you guys, especially (my watchers and friends ).. After all, you all encourage and inspire me to continue my drawings. So thank you everyone for taking a liking to my art and writing such lovely comments for them. ^^ But aside from all the sentimental talk.. lol.. I've been meaning to show you guys the paintings I've been doing these past weeks for school. (but maybe only the good ones.. XD) I even tried to do my vocaloid themes for class (which was a pretty bold move ), so I'll put up one as soon as I can. But I don't know whether to reply to all your comments first or upload the photos.. lol XD There's just too many things to catch up on after all these weeks! XD

But today the connection seems to be a bit faster, so I thought I just needed to let you guys know when I could..

This was actually a huge business convention for this company and the main show was in this huge indoor stadium-style room with cinema-style lights that was filled with over 25,000 people. o_o The seats went up so high just like a stadium, but a very steep one. I had to sit up there the second day when we were with our group, and when I looked down from the seat, I felt like I was going to fall down when looking down at the stage (just about the whole time o_o). I guess I have a certain fear of heights that I never knew about after that experience... And when I would stand up, the platform or long step that the seat was on would be very narrow, so I would literally feel like I was going slip off the edge and fall down. Because of that, I just about had to clutch onto the seats (or people's legs >_>... XD) when I had to get in and get out. x_x

Throughout the show, they showed the new products and talked about their usage and effects. They also introduced new improvements, expansions, and new services in the business as well as talking more about the company for newcomers and how it works. They would give everyone a lunch break around 1 PM after starting around 9 AM and then we would go back to continue for about another 4 hours.. On the last day they went from around 2 PM to 7 PM without any breaks, so it was literally TORTURE for me, since by that time everything seemed so repetitive and that they just wouldn't give you a break or stop talking.. T_T I went over my limit and was going crazy in mind from the torture, while I'm usually a very patient person too.. Not only was I hungry and tired, but my mind was so worn out trying to absorb all of the non-stop information and presentations (Many huge power point ones may I add). So not only did this feel like a very 'high budget' and huge and elaborate college class, but they did try to make it more entertaining with all these colored lights, music and high-budget equipment, screens, and stage sets. (And on a random note, they played a lot of random popular hit songs as well techno ones and remixes before the show when people were seating themselves. The sound system they had there was actually pretty impressive too.. A lot of teens and adults were randomly standing from their seats and dancing to the music as it was playing. o_o I couldn't believe how many young people were there.. And I don't know why, but half or most of the people there were Asian despite it being a company originally made by Caucasians. There were so many that they even had to have a Mandarin translator speak through a speaker on the side.. o_o)

But I did learn more about the company that my dad was in, as well as learning more of how the business and products made such a difference for a lot of people, young and old. I also tried a lot of products myself through my dad and some of his friends, so I could say that they do make good quality products. But I don't know if I'm going to go into this business like my dad and his friends want me to, since it's like being an entrepreneur, by selling products from the company in a certain field like cosmetics, skins care, etc. And I don't have enough experience with all their products yet, so I'm still in the process of trying out more of them before I decide on anything for certain. However, some of their nutritional solutions and skin care products, have been pretty beneficial to me, so I think I may be interested in considering it some day. Maybe..

I definitely didn't eat the best during this trip, because it was extremely long hours trapped on the bus with nothing but snacks, water and a bathroom with no sink. O_O So not only did I have to refrain from drinking too much, but I had to try and endure until we finally stopped at a place to eat and for restrooms. The bus was so packed and we had to almost randomly sit anywhere because when we first boarded, there were already a lot of belongings put on the seats with no people there yet. I had to sit on the outer seat next to someone I never met before, since there was nowhere left, but the people there were really nice, so it wasn't too bad. The only bad thing was that when I wanted to listen to music, the bus's engine and air conditioner was so loud that I would have to turn the music up high just to be able to hear it. X_X So not only did that drain my batteries quicker, but most likely the people around me could hear the music blasting out of the earphones... >_> x_x I also felt that the environment in there was just not good for drawing.. It has nothing to do with the art field in any way, which is my only desired career path right now.. This trip will not only take out a good portion of my remaining summer break, but I also won't be able to work on any of my vocaloid drawings (on my computer) for a while either. T_T I was working very hard the themes, Duo and Gray simultaneously and were close to finishing them too.. I guess I'll have to get back to those much later...

I'll have to try and withstand 5 days of being dragged to these business talks, meetings, speeches, and other things that make me want to go Super Saiyan!.. (yes, super saiyan.. o_o XD) But I'll try to hold back from going extremely crazy from the boredom, because this is sure nowhere near a vacation trip. x_x Maybe to take out my stress and frustration, I can sketch all the vocaloid themes I was meaning to save for more 'depressing' days.. >_> (I could call this event a downer in itself..) so maybe this is the perfect opportunity to start the themes: Stress, Boredom, Insanity, and Blood.. (you can tell where this is going XD) But no, I'll try to draw some positive themes to cheer myself up too.. XD I just hope no one on the bus or the person sitting next to me will try to ask me what I'm drawing... >_> I'll probably have tons of sketches by the end of the very long trip, since I'll be bored out of mind on that bus anyways.. XD So I guess it's not all Fire and brimstone.. But then again, I'll have to re-sketch all the drawings from my sketchbook onto the computer when I get back. DX It moments like these, I wish I had a laptop... DX

So yes..., I'll be away for 5 days from the 5th to the 9th. I won't be able to respond to any messages until I come back and recover on Monday.. I'll really miss you guys... T_T

Inspired by my friend who has started doing the 100 theme challenge. I thought it would be a great idea for me also, because I'm constantly going into art blocks. XD This seems like just the thing I need to help get my ideas going. Not only that, but this would also be a great chance to expand my gallery while covering various themes and subjects. ^^

But of course there is a little twist to this. I'm doing sort of my own "version" of the 100 theme challenge with the majority (or all of it o_o) being based on Vocaloids <_< >_>. Yes, Vocaloids. XD I might be the only person out there who wants to draw nothing but Vocaloids right now, XD but I can't help it, it's practically in my blood now.

I don't want to spam my subscribers' and friends' inbox with all these vocaloid drawings when they aren't into Vocaloids, so please let me know if you object to this idea, XD so I can change my plans around or else you may see a real Vocaloid mania going on here. XD

When I arrived at the con on Friday, it was actually pretty "deserted" with no cosplayers in sight, >_> so I actually thought we were at the wrong place. XDD But it turns out it was actually the right place after all, but I think it was the wet/rainy weather that could have something to do with it, and not to mention, it's a different location from last year. It was actually way more packed on Saturday out of all the days (I wonder why XD). But the large buildings in this area all looked so similar so it was really difficult finding the exhibit center. I almost felt scared to get out of the car when it seemed like hardly anyone was in cosplay there. XDD But when I started walking in it seemed like some people came in with full cosplay on, so I was relieved. XD

It felt so humid having a scarf on ever since I put it on, so that might have made me feeling a bit worn out and feeling like wanting to pass out most of the time. XDD But I think Kaito's outfit might just prove to be the perfect outfit for winter.. seriously.. But can you believe what happened?? I forgot my ice cream prop at home when we were already about halfway to the con!!! I was so focused on the costume itself and what necessities to bring for when I stay at the hotel, and trying to get there right when it opens, so the the idea of the prop just slipped out of my mind x_x. So I was SOOO upset when at the last minute I remembered about it (and of course it was too late to turn back for it X_X), so that just ruined my whole posing routine. XD But since I had no ice cream prop, most of my poses were just standing there.. plainly... looking pretty serious XD and maybe some peace signs occasionally just for the heck of it. XD I really planned to have an ice cream cone with light blue ice cream on top, so Kaito would be pretending to eat it happily. XD But I changed my expression to mostly serious when posing for photos, because Kaito doesn't have his beloved ice cream with him... XDD)

I also saw a lot of other vocaloid cosplayers there, more than I expected! ^^ Especially lots of Kaitos! XD Out of the 3 days there, I saw about a total of 3 Lens, 3 Rins, 4 Mikus, and about 6 Kaitos (most who were only seen briefly) XD but none of the other vocaloids though. XD However, I heard this one girl say that she was dressed as Meiko when she called me out as I passed by her. XD I was so glad that some people recognized my Kaito cosplay. XD I think I was unknown to the majority of people on Friday, except for a Len and Rin that ran up to hug me and ask for a picture together. XD

When the huge dealer room opened, I was trying my best to find if they had any vocaloid stuff, XD but I only saw the Rin, Len and Miku figma figure, another smaller Miku figure (not the nendoroid though , a Hachune Miku T-shirt, and some Miku CDs. ^^ I ended up buying the Miku figma figure (since I have no Miku stuff yet XD) and one of the Miku CDs (that killed my wallet though X_X XD). Some of the other stuff I bought were: a Vampire Knight keychain, a box of winter pocky (XD), 3 DVD box sets, a Allen & Lavi (D.Gray-Man) pencil board, a Hetalia and Perfume CD, and a very poseable Chun Li figure (Not only am I fan of Chun Li, but I knew this could also help me with the anatomy in my drawings also XDD).

I think after this whole con, I almost wished I had an Akaito with me (Yes, quite a random thought there XD). But it somehow also made me want to make plans for a Taito cosplay next year... <_< XD Yes, I know probably absolutely no one will know who I'm cosplyaing as, XD but at least then I could do more outrageous poses in some way.. if you know what I mean.. XD *wink*

I'll have some pics up of my costume as soon as I can and possibly some shots I took with the other vocaloid cosplayers also. ^^ But just be warned... you might need to prepare yourself... XDD

I sure miss that whole semester of art classes that I had last year, but now I have mostly classes that require a lot of textbook work and very little room for artistic activity or creative work. XD

And then my birthday is also coming up very soon, the 28th, which is almost in two days. XD Anyone want to guess how old I'm turning? >_> I definitely don't feel very much like this age, but a very big clue is that it's a double digit of some kind... >_> (I think that just gave it away XD)

On another note, I was able to pre-order my Kaito Nendoroid a while ago, so I should be getting it next month.. (I really can't wait until I get him. XD) I'll definitely post some pictures of him like I did with the Len Nendoroid. ^^

I was also able to pre-order a set of 5 trading figures of Kuroshitsuji characters for my birthday present, but I won't be getting it until near the end of next month. XD (It's a great series by the way, if you haven't checked it out already ^^) I also really wanted to get the Miku Nendoroid too, but this show has been an addiction for me lately, so I had to choose between her or get this set before it was almost sold out... XD But I WILL get the Miku Nendoroid one day, so I can pose her with Kaito! XDD

But now I'm going to work on my drawings (since it's finally the weekend! ) or more like diving into a folder of many incomplete drawings I didn't finish. XD I'm not sure which drawing to finish first... but I seem to be working more on the KaitoxMiku and Akaito one lately. It's sure a challenge, but I hope I get something new up soon! ^^

KaitoxLen: As many of you may know, this is my most fav vocaloid pairing (Since I draw them so much XD). And being the shounen-ai/yaoi fan that I am (XD), I think they make great friends/brotherly-love-like pals and even another level of affection that some might not agree with, mostly because of their age difference (Kaito being 20 and Len being 14). o_o XD
Because of that, a lot may think Kaito would seem like a "pedo" in this pairing, which is the reason why I'm reluctant to post more intimate ones of them together. XD But in my defense, there have been pairings with even bigger age gaps in other series, anime or even in real life. o_o >_>
(A bigger age gap could be the Soubi and Ritsuka pairing from Loveless, for example. XD) A lot of you probably aren't buying this, but I think love can even surpass the age gaps or age in general. o_o XD But Kaito makes a great seme for this pairing, but a lot of people like it the other way around, with Len in control. >_> But I'm fine with either way as they are together. XD

XD It actually makes me happy seeing them together, because they remind me of a prince and princess, but other times just a very adorable and innocent Miku being completely drawn in and taken in by an obliviously cheerful or protective Kaito. XD <3 I just wish I could see them being paired up more often. This probably has to be my second favorite pairing. XD

LenxRin: Being the "twins" of the vocaloids, I have to say that from a lot of the videos I've seen of them, they do look really cute together, even romantically. o_o Some may call this pairing "twincest," but I think they're more like "computer programs" rather than humans born from parents, so they aren't exactly "blood-related" in that way. >_> But I guess it depends on how the individual fan perceives it. But in my opinion, they are quite adorable together, even despite them being "siblings" or not. This would probably be the only girl I would really feel comfortable being paired with Len. >_>

I'm still making a lot of last minute adjustments to the costume, because it's the first time trying to sew and tailor an outfit myself. XD So I have to make sure it doesn't come out too tacky or fall apart during the convention. XD

But even so, I'll try to take some good pictures of my cosplay and maybe even video footage if possible! ^^
