my art sites on my domain (fanart and original art) are almost done. when they are, i am emptying this gallery. i have not cared for the dA "community" (LOL!) for a long time now and i'm just now getting the balls to take my toys and leave. i have already purged at least 75% of the gallery and scraps, and the remaining ones will be deleted when i leave. people who actually care ("real fans", for lack of a better way of putting it) can bookmark a URL and look at my site and/or art blog on LJ. if you can only look at someone's drawings if the work is all done for you (convenience will kill us all XD), then that's your problem. i draw for myself. i upload for you guys, but if i am not happy... well, that comes first. the day drawing stops being fun is the day i stop doing it, and the same with art "communities".

i'll still watch and comment and probably +fav here on dA, but once my sites are done (they're getting there) i will no longer post here. i'm tired of the theft and attitudes. i only came here because all my art friends were here, but i see most of their stuff on LJ these days, ANYWAY. i don't need this site and i don't want to be associated with it anymore. stuff on my domain and LJ are more important to me.

so if i do a finished piece before i'm gone, i might post it here. so yeah, there'll be updates up until then for those of you who care. enjoy in the meantime, and i'll make an official post when my sites are done. thanks to those who've been considerate to my preferences and treated me well during my time here. the rest of you? too bad, i pretty much don't care about you and your attempts to aggravate me. ^_^

the only real rule is that you HAVE to provide a reference picture. it doesn't have to be awesome, but i need something visual to go off of.

please keep in mind that the quality of the sketch will vary depending on what i feel like doing. it could be loose, refined (like my sketch commissions) or somewhere in between. it's free, so don't expect TOO much.

it may be done digitally or in pencil and scanned in. (you don't get to choose)
it can be your character or a fanart (fuu, naruto, whatever).

make sure you comment HERE. give me time to get it done (two weeks max) as it depends on if i feel like drawing and how much school and work are taking up my time. so be patient. after two weeks, feel free to remind me. >;D
AND MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE A REFERENCE PIC. i can't stress that enough. D:

i like being able to get comments and etcetera, i really do. but things like the favorites system insult me as an illustrator (because i don't take it serious enough to call my work "art"), like these drawings just come out of some machine. a real person sat here and took the time, effort, and dedication to draw this picture that you like. you could have a smidgen of courtesy to at least take 30 seconds out of your effing busy schedule (cause you're soo busy if you sit around hitting the +fav button on DA all day) to at least say that you liked it. y'know. tell the creator what's so great about it that you want to +fav it. THAT is why it's rude to +fav without commenting. and if you don't even SKIM the description on a deviation that you're not just glimpsing at, then you don't deserve my time.

in any case, i'm going to be revamping my art site (again) in my ever-continuing journey to make it as user-friendly and easy to browse as my HTML knowledge (and general creativity) allows. eventually (i don't know when), i will probably close down this archive and simply host all my art on my site, but that's probably not going to be for a looonngg time, so don't worry your little heads about it, 'kay?

i like getting comments. i LOVE getting comments, actually. especially ones that actually talk about the devation and say something besides, "cool!" or "cute!" or"fhqwhgads!" so please comment.

i'm personally sick of seeing so many angsty, dark, "emotion" shite deviations~ they get the attention they're whoring for, i suppose. grow up~ art should be a part of you, but when people post about how depressed they are and oh i'm going to kill myself it's for pity. that's a fact. when people are really upset and ashamed, they hide it from people.

but i don't leave "dislike deviation" comments on it and say "attention whore blah blah all these are the same blah blah."

i don't care if you don't like anthro art. *i* don't like angsty art. i just don't look at it if i don't like it. i think the "dislike deviation" is not for being rude, hurtful and slashing up someone's work, which may have been posted JUST FOR FUN.
some people draw for fun. we're not all depressed, wrist-slitting adolescents and teenagers who want sympathy and attention. i draw because it's fun.

i draw anthro art because i think it's fun. (that word again, hm?) i do suffer from zoophilia, i don't wear big animal suits (cat ears and tail at most, but that's because i LIKE CATS XP), i don't screw stuffed animals, okay? it's fun to draw. i've never heard anyone diss bigs bunny or any other ANTHROPOMORPHIC CHARACTERS.

some people want to have messy/scratchy/sloppy styles, or want to make their own style of anatomy. people seem to think that if it doesn't fit up with realistic/traditional art, IT SUCKS OMG DISLIKE DEV.

i've selected "dislike" a couple of times, but it was all constructive criticism. the arms are too long, your own style of anatomy or not. the facial features are a little misplaced, even considering your own style. the colors clash a lot, and unless that's what you were going for, learn to color-coordinate or something.

why do people have to be so rude? i HATE rude and ignorant people.

i'd leave devART if it wasn't more positive than negative. i wish the admins would do something about people being so rude. i don't care if they don't like anthro~ they shouldn't be letting people act like assholes.

other than that, everything's been going quite well. we're fully moving into the new house probably at the end of the week. so i might not be on the net for a couple days~ which is okay, because i can always use the break. we're buying a house (we live in a condo) and it's so nice and i'm happy and eee.

i'm getting a kitten of my own in a couple of weeks. kind of an early graduation/18th bday gift. i'm really excited~ i'll have pics and the works when i get her.

plus i might get to call my babe, who lives in mexico (querétaro, to be exact). i'm still waiting for him to email me back about time and date and etc. i'm so excited, i haven't heard his voice since the end of july! ~ (¡te quiero ángel!)

i'm in the process of CGing the second pic in my anthro care bears series~ sorry i'm taking so long.
