It's been a while. I've been awfully tied up with school lately, but I did get a new camera to temporarily distract me from my studies.

It's glorious. It truly is. I was playing around earlier today and this evening and snapped a few decent shots (see left). Hopefully I'll learn how to really work everything on this camera soon.

I'm also redoing a drawing I 'finished' about three years ago. This mostly entails shading, darkening, and the like; I used to draw SO lightly back in the day. I still have that tendency, but I know more about pencils now to get around that. 6B all the way!

I'm also working on a charcoal portrait, so I may be uploading that within the week. I could stand to upload some more hand drawn pieces, you think?

I'm at work right now, and we've been VERY slow. During "monsoon season" (also known as "the only time it ever rains in Arizona"), people avoid driving at all costs. I can't blame them. We have all of, what, four storm drains in the city of Tucson, causing many streets to become impossible to traverse. I'm sure I'll have a fun drive home tonight.
