The holidays have been pretty fun. Spent 8 days in Phillip Island, came back for my birthday (turned 16), got my own computer. I'm doing pretty well right now. my holiday in Phillip Island didnt last long enough!! i wanted to spend way more time up there, its so fun. I went with Cal, Lach and Pickle, plus Beth was already up there. we had no parents and a supply of alcohol... only i really used that though. well. to excess. once. the others are more responsible then me it would seem. we met some fisherman guy there who was really cool until he started trying to convert us to Christianity... and a bunch of drunk dudes in San Remo recognised me as their mate called Dil... and when i said no, my name is Alex they said Alex was Dil's middle name... crazy drunks XD it was so much fun. i dont remember how many times i had ice cream for breckfast, but it was a lot. Funny, when school was over i didnt want it to be, but now that its back i want it to go away. Actually i have mixed feelings about it, because it gives me a chance to catch up with all my friends. but then again, year 11! the year of doom! and no more sleeping in until 2 pm -.-
and ive got work through school, which is both good and bad i guess... i earn money, but i have to get up at 5 am to earn it. fucking paper rounds..... >.< only friday and saturdays though, so it shouldnt interfere too much.

and christmas eve was my nephews birthday, i feel so sorry for him. i went up to my sisters house in phillip island and he was sick plus his birthday is when everyone is broke and/or gone on holidays so he doesnt get an exciting party like others would. playing a game of poker with him seemed to cheer him up and he started eating again.

he turned 12, yay! and ... i THINK hes going into high school next year so good luck to him with that.

and LOL the night before nick broke his finger in a mission to defend our household from a massive (tiny) hideously deadly (probably harmless) spider that apparently wouldnt die, so he found it nessecary to swat at least 50 times. (we dont REALLY know yet but its all wrapped up and mums a nurse so you'd wanna think she knows a broken finger when she sees one)
ive teased him about it ever since, and today when we got back there was a huntsman in his room so he shat himself as usual, so i got rid of it and threw the bucket at him later pretending the spider was still in it... XD

sigh, moping around all day eating crap and enjoying your presents is the best... this frigging head massager makes my eyes roll back into my skull its that freaking good...
and howls moving castle is one of the best movies ever. EVER. i want my own Calcifer...

I need to do my lit work, and my english work, and my P.E work... fuck the P.E work though. I dont care if i fail P.E.

Yeah, I was working on an ID for myself, and was working on another layer... whilst saving I found that the program I was working on cant handle layers in a save, so I'd have to do it all at once.
This was a problem. I screwed up the layers first, cause a quick way to change them is pg up, which I did, but it didnt work. I didnt realise, so I kept working. I ended up having to erase all the work and start again. I got about 3/4 done, then the computer froze. I saved, but there were no longer any layers. Hence, the reason Im pissed off.

I hate my scanner, its an utter piece of crap. All my deviations look the way they do because of my shit quality scanner.
But anyways, thats enough of my problems to bother you with for now.

as you may have heard, im kinda depressed right now. i was happy and full of beans last night, before about 11:55 pm last night...
you see, my dad went out to drop my brother michael back home. my cat peg was trying to go under my bed so i grabbed her and threw her out. when dad came back down the driveway... he ran her over and killed her.
anyone who doesnt understand how that's possible:

1. our driveway is on a downwards slope towards our house and is only about 10m long. maybe 15.
2.peg is... sorry, was... around 19 years old, and is completely deaf.
3. she had taken to sleeping in the middle of the driveway for some strange reason.
4. it was night time and there isnt really much of a view of whats underneath you in our 4wd...

i was in nicks room seeing what he was up to, when dad came in and told us she was dead. when i went outside... she looked awful. there was blood all over the driveway, and peg was just lieing there, with blood pouring from her mouth. she had no other visible injuries...
we decided that we should bury her that night rather then leave it till the morning. mum didnt want to see her in that state. we dug a hole in one of her favourite spots out the front, and buried her there. nick had to hose the blood off the driveway.

so now you see why im depressed. ive known that old cat my entire life. she was older then me. and now she's gone, never to come back. but you know, she was gonna die sooner or later, and i think she knew it because she kept finding dark places to sleep.

My Dads birthday, no idea how old he is, he didn't tell us. We went to this Japanese resturaunt somewhere in Dandenong or somewhere, couldn't be bothered remembering. The chef dude cooked everything in front of us which was pretty cool.. his name was Luke, and sadly he wasn't actually Japanese. I think he was Korean.
Anyway...
He had these two grill... spatula thingys, and he waved em around and stuff, very impressive like... fastest I've ever seen someone prepare a prawn.... and when he was putting salt or pepper on the food, he would throw the shaker up in the air and swirl it around in his fingers and stuff... he accidentally dropped the pepper shaker actually, almost threw it at my dad.. hehehehe...
He filled me up reaaaal good, but i havent gotten to the totally awesome part yet. I saw him cracking like 6 eggs into a bowl and then I heard my brother say 'Ah! The omelettes!' (because he had been there before) He cooks the omelette on the grill, right? Really thin, and then he folds it up into a long tube like thing, and then he cuts off a slice, and throws it up in the air, and you gotta catch it in your mouth! I was taken completely by suprise by the first one, cause I was all like WTF?!(also cause I suck at catching stuff) Then the next one I managed to catch although it was hard to eat because I was already so full.. >.<
Then since there was alot of omelette left, he cut it to buggery. using the 2 spatulas, he started off really slow, and then got immesurably fast... and then with the very end, sitting it on the grill, he tried launching the omelette at us, but he never got it high enough to go in our mouths...
Then the next thing he threw at us was bowls of fried rice. Yes, you heard me. FRIED RICE. HE THREW FRIED RICE AT US. He made me sit like 5 meters away, and then threw me an empty bowl, and then throws a bowl full of rice which i had to catch in the empty bowl. Taken completely aback, i dropped the first bowl too. caught the second one but didnt eat it for fear of vomiting. then the next unsightly event was when the dishes were cleaned up and we were talking.. my brother finished his coffee and was attacking me with the sugar paper thing. i bit it our of his hands and chewed it up into a ball... and then i was like...
'If i move a single vain in my brain, I could shoot you with this.' (this was taken from the context of the anime elfen lied, where lucy fights nana, and says "if i move a single vein in my brain i can kill you")
he knew where i got it from, and went to jab me in the throat, but he instead sent the coffee cup flying across the room... it had a spoon in it too, which flew into the bin (HAHAHAHA) and thus ends my exciting adventure in the japanese resturaunt.
im actually suprised they didnt make him pay for it ;D

but first of all..... yeah. some might have noticed but i havent been on DA much recently. this is most likely due to work experience. im underage -.- so i stayed home and did work here. the absolute worst day i had was 12 hours of solid garden labour. wake up 6 am, finish at 6 pm. *shudder* i had a few 'slack' days where i did bugger all... they were good. the best jobs i got were painting, cause its so easy. first of all i had to paint the pool decking (yes... we have a pool... we take it for granted because its soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cold. even on really hot days we dont use it, thats how damn cold it is) green. yes, green. it actually looks good now. mum had done about 1/4 of the job, i did the other 3/4 in about 2 hours. maybe less. (thats a pretty good time actually ) then i got the rest of the day off, yay! next job was 2 chairs. mum had painted one, but badly. large patches that she missed ... so i patched them up and did another chair. took longer then i thought because i was careful not to spill it. this one was a turps based paint so it doesnt come off easily. meh. that was the last proper job i got
time to talk about chrishmish!
anyways. i got a tv and a stereo thing. how do i know?! ill tell you. we're not that fancy about christmas, especially seeing as we're not even staying home, we're going to my uncle's house. we all get our presents early. i got a bit old for the wrapping and all that stuff, so we dont do it anymore. no need.
finished pretty much all the shopping today, and im very happy. who wouldnt be?!

It turns out mine was a special case; it didn't turn black at all. It turned brown with black streaks.
When I picked it up, it almost burned my finger off. I mean, I expected it to be hot, but not THAT hot. I left it for a while, to see if it would go back to normal. It didn't. It now resides in one of the less-used corners in my room, after I flung it there in a fit of rage.

(Actually; there was no rage. I couldn't actually give a shit that the damn thing broke, but it was nice having it for a while.)


A lesson to all those Risk-takers and Adventurers out there; Never pick up a mood ring after leaving it on a hot lamp for 5 minutes. My finger has 3rd degree burns from that thing.
Well.... OK. That was a lie. I've only got 2nd degree burns.

Everybody was after them, because they were worth about a billion dollars each. Any dish they were added to was bound to be the best tasting meal you have ever had. The only way Gambulator could lay his hands on them was by Invading Grunge realm and slaughtering all the crop defenders. It prooved no meagre task, most of his solid gold army was slaughtered in the process, to the point that he had to fight aswell. It turned out to be a good thing though, because without the Hafufful onions, the grunge army could no longer attack. After tasting a meal that the finest of kings would weep with delight about eating, he vomited. All over the person that served it. "WHAT IS THIS FILTH?! TAKE IT AWAY, YOU FOOL!" Not wanting to be flicked in the skull again, the hobo ran off. It turns out though, Hafufful onions have a very harmful side effect, but only when you put more then one of them into some food. The foolish cook, not knowing this, had comprised the entire meal from the onions. Gambulator's defencive system had gotten rid of the poison, which surely would have killed even him.

Then there's the gameplay. YOU CAN GO INTO SLOWMODE!!! SOOO freaking cool. Only problem is... you need MINIMUM 512 meg of ram to play. on the lowest graphics setting. For it to bee real good you want 1 gig of ram and a really good graphics card. The only reason i know about this game is because Jordan (thenameless-one) got it, and I've been at his house most of the weekend playing it. He's too scared to play it by himself and I don't blame him, some freaky shit is going on in that game. I can't even nearly play it... shitty 128 meg ram ... TT^TT
One of the scary bits which unfortunately we didn't save for Will is.. ok. You walk forward to a ladder leading down. When you turn around to start climbing there is a little girl standing where you were.... climb to the bottom and turn around and there's a guy standing right there, but he dissapears straight away...
May not sound like much, but when you are actually playing its .... horrible. I want it so bad now TT^TT

And yey! the scanner is set up now... although it cuts up my good pictures because the book i drew them in is too big, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! *breaks scanner, burns drawings, shoots self in head*
i might draw some crappy talentless thing on the gimp... AT LEAST THEN I WON'T HAVE PROBLEMS STUFFING IT INTO THE SCANNER.

Now for the not point of this entry. My dad hasnt set up the scanner properly yet, damn it! still the superuser is the only one who can use it! it smells, because ive drawn like my best drawing ever a little while ago and i wanna submit it! theres also alot of other stuff which is good that i wanna submit, like my previous bests...

Ja, thats about it. Drawing was fun today. We had a substitute that contradicted herself alot. Like she'd give out a handout, and then take it off us again and do something, then give it out again. it drove me to make a comic, which is pretty badly drawn, but i think it gets my point across.

Ah well. Time for endless ranting...

I'm listening to some random soundtrack i found sitting on my comp being neglected. it has like 2 rap songs that i can listen to without puking... and a song ive become obsessed with... Bad old man, by Babybird. and now im listening to some wierd portishead remix that's in french for some reason... And now Peaches has come on. Ah well.
