It just hit me that November is almost over and soon Christmas time's here. Where the heck did November go? No - where did the YEAR go?

Anyway, I've been home from London for a few days now. London was AWESOME, to say the least . I just absolutely loved it there! We spent a few days sightseeing ("we" would be my sister and I) and then one day we spent at Koko's which is the venue in Camden, London where the 30 Seconds to Mars gig that we went to took place at.

The gig was alright...but I'm not a big fan of the band, but it was cool seeing them again. We got autographs from the band after the show. My thoughts of the band during the signing were pretty much this "Shannon looks tired. Man...Jared Leto is short! And Tomo's hot!". I didn't botehr saying anything to them... My sister handed Tomo a drawing that she'd made of him though. She asked him to give it to his girlfriend, which I thought was cool because suddenly she caught his attention.

Oh, and what's the deal about the London weather being lousy? Seriously, we had a great weather when we were there last week. It was so much more pleasant than the coldness here. It felt like the Swedish September there. Did it rain? It only rained when we arrived there and then we had two cloudy days and the other days were sunny and felt like spring days! So I didn't see what the fuss about the English weather is all about...

What else..? Oh yeah, has anyone seen "New Moon" yet? I haven't, but I will this Friday! Better late than never, right? I wasn't really planning on seeing it...but you literally get brain washed with New Moon/Twilight/Robert Pattinson stuff in London. They're everywhere! So I have to go and check out New Moon now... I hear it's good. I've spoken to people who have already seen it 3-4 times! I think once will be enough for me!

I just got so inspired to do all these drawings/paintings when I started to read the Twilight serie (note to you all: I did actually read the three first books before I even watched "Twilight", a few weeks ago!). I loved the books and the movie was...well...OK. I prefer the books, hehe.

Anyway, for the ones who are sick of my Twilight stuff; I'm currently working on something that's got nothing to do with Twilight.

I hope you're all doing well, even though it's getting darker and colder outside (unless you're lucky enough to have spring were you live now!).

As for me, I'm battling a nasty cold right now, but i'm not going to bore you with details because I know you don't wanna hear about that. On a brighter not, the good thing about having a cold (hey...gotta try to see the positive side in everything, right? ) is that I've had a lot of time to draw (and to paint too!), so I've uploaded a couple of my drawings today. I have some more, but I think I'll upload them sometime next week (probably tomorrow).

Anyways, I've got some great news! On November 16th, my sister and I are flying to London to attend a show by 30 Seconds to Mars! I'm really excited about it! So anyone else here going?

That's about the only thing that's making me look forward to November. Usually I find November the most boring, dark month of the year.

I'm happy today because I'm, off to "la bella Italia" tonight. I'm gonna be gone for 10 days (thank God!) and I can't wait 'til I get away from rainy Sweden.

Anyway, I still have to finish packing. I've been packing all day and if you know me, then you also know how much I "looooove" packing... That's a lie. A big fat lie. I hate packing! So I guess I could've finished packing hours ago, but instead I've been postponing it and then I got caught up playing around with Photoshop and well, "This is war" is the result.

Well, better go and face that luggage...gaaaaaah!

LA was awesome, to say the least and my sister and I had a blast every single day. Things there are so surreal...like we'd see huge celebrities on the streets just like that. Weird, at least if you come from a small town in Sweden like me!

Anyways, we did the whole tourists in LA thing (plus much more!), hehe. Like we did a few Hollywood tours, went to Universal Studios, saw a couple of film premieres (the world premieres of "Wolverine" and "Star Trek". Did see all of the big stars there too!) and we even sat in the audience of a couple of talk shows (the Jimmy Kimmel and Craig Ferguson show). We were invited to go to a Jay Leno show, but we'd made plans for that afternoon already . Oh, and we also took part of The Summit (you 30 Seconds to Mars fans all know what I'm talking about). Unbelievable!!! That day was surreal...they interviewed my sis and I and took us up to Capitol Records (just some chosen fans got to go there)...Can't say more about that though!

All in all the whole trip was a dream come true so coming back home wasn't fun at all. Didn't even miss home at all... Not even all that talk about the swine flu made me wanna go home (and believe me, people really are freaked about about the swine flu over there!). Oh, speaking of the swine flu... Now I have a major jetlag (Sweden is 9 hours ahead of LA) so my head feels weird...like my body's here but my head is still in Lala-land, or something!

Oh, and as for anything new going on when it comes to drawing or painting...I haven't really had the time to start on anything new, but I will soon! So thanks for sticking around here while I've been gone!!

I am going to Los Angeles!! WOHOOOOOO!!!

Yeah, I know, the title kind of gave that away, but anyways.. I am actually going to the US this upcoming week (on the 23rd). It wasn't planned at all, it was just a dream of mine to go there, until yesterday...and before the day was over I had booked my sis and I a trip to LA. It's a very spontaneous thing, but heck...you only live once, right?

So we're going to be away for 9 days and we're also going to try to attend this 30 Second to Mars thing while we're in LA...something that has to do with the making of their next album. I don't know all the details, but my sister does...she's the Echelon babe (a 30stm fan knows what Echelon is)! I'm just the wannabe Echelon dork, haha! Damn...this reminds me...maybe I should start listening to some of their music..hehe...

Anyway, my point is, I probably won't be as active here on DA for the next couple of weeks.

It's also my sister's birthday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, SIS!!! Yeah, in case you hadn't figured it out alreday, we're twins

Anyways, the spring has finally hit Sweden and that means I haven't been drawing so much lately. There are so many other things that I feel like doing when it's sunny and warm outside. Yeah, I always leave most of my drawing/painting to the rainy days. I guess that's when I feel more creative too. Hm, go figure.

I haven't put art aside though, I just haven't been drawing for a few weeks now. Instead I've been painting and doing some other stuff with colours... I'm not sure if I'll upload it here though... We'll see!

I'm so incredibly tired because I haven't slept for that many hours at all, mainly because the earth moved this morning. Yeah, we had an earthquake here. Can ya believe it? We NEVER have earthquakes in Sweden, so you can imagine how clueless I felt when the the whole building started to move. I was at work by then and my brain didn't really comprehend what the heck was going on, since I'm not used to the whole building moving. I have to admit that it was quite scary and I didn't know what to think because Sweden and earthqueakes in the same sentence just don't make sence.

Anyways, so that was an experience...

Well, other than the earth moving, it's almost Christmas and as you might have noticed I haven't posted that many new drawings here. What can I say...? Busy, busy month! I still haven't finished all my Christams shopping!

Anyway, in case I don't update sooner I just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!

Anyways, I'm not gonna bore you with my whining about the weather! One good thing about this lousy weather is that I find myself drawing a lot more. So yesterday I drew Mutt Williams (yeah, again...see the pattern? ) and I finished it so quickly, much to my surprise. Now I'm gonna go back working on that other drawing that I put on hold.

The whole presidential election went on during night time here in Sweden, but several channels were of course still following the election. I myself was too tired to stay up all night, but I still woke up at 5 AM for no reason. I just couldn't sleep. I just hate it when I've planned to sleep in and then I'm still wide awake way too early. Anyway, so because of me being awake that early I was able to see Obama's acceptance speech. I'm glad that he won. I would've voted for him, if I could!

What else...? Oh yah, today "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" was finally released here on DVD. Of course, I had to buy it :grin: and since I had the day off work, my sis and I spent the afternoon watching it. Watching the movie again really inspired me to draw something Indiana Jones related again, so I might do that when I'm finished with a drawing that I'm currently working on.

i'm just writing a quick entry to let you know that I'm still around. It feels like it's been ages since I last uploaded anything to my gallery (although it's only been a couple of weks! ): I haven't been lazy, it's just that work has been taking up a lot of my time and whenever I've had some time off I just haven't found the time to draw! There's so much to do, but so little time! I've been out a lot, enjoying the fall and its sunny days. Yeah, this comes from the person who didn't want the summer to end, but I really like the beginning of the fall because it's so pretty outside with all the red/orange/yellow trees!

Anyway, I'm currently working on a couple of drawings, so keep your eyes open because I'll post them here as soon as I finish them.

So I guess it's time for another of these blog entries! As you probably have noticed, my recent drawings have all been Pink Floyd related I really like the band (obviously), so bear with me! I hadn't drawn them before (so now I've got that out of my system! , even though I've listened to this band since the day I was born. Well, maybe not literally, but I grew up listening to their music (much thanks to dad).

So the summer is slowly coming to an end and to tell you the truth; that just simply sucks! I've been trying to avoid the fact that the fall is just around the corner, but it's getting harder now that you can see some trees that are actually turning yellow. *sigh* As you might guess, I'm no big fan of the fall (well, only of the few weeks that the trees turn really orange/yellow - that looks so pretty!), but I guess I just gotta look ahead 'til...next summer! It seems like forever until then though!

On a lighter note,I've been pretty active lately when it comes to drawing. A few days ago I finished a drawing of The Door's singer Jim Morrison. I know my dad used to look up to him when he was a kid, so that's what made me want to draw Morrison. Hm...what else?

Oh yes, I just wanna give a quick shout out to Creedysgirl for featuring one of my drawing recently! I really appreciate it! Check out her gallery - it's amazing!

Anyways, so now I finally have some more time off and I've started on different projects! I keep myself busy painting and drawing, especially when the weather sucks outside... So it looks like I'll be painting/drawing a lot this upcoming week, hehe.

Heck yeah! It was better (if that's possible ). I'd been wanting so see that movie for the longest time and so I had all these big expectations on the movie. I thought I wouldn't like the movies because usually when I have expectations on things I just end up disappointed because things never live up to my expectations.

Anyways, so in my opinion this movie was the best movie I've seen so far this year. As much as I liked the new Indiana Jones movie, The Dark Knight was definitely better. So seeing the movie and watching Heath Ledger's interpretation of the Joker made me want to draw a drawing of the Joker (which you can see HERE).

So I finally have a few days off work and I'm planning on working on some drawings and paintings. FINALLY I get the time and energy to draw and paint again! It feels like I haven't been able to do that for ages!

So today I drew a drawing of Johnny Depp, which I'll upload tomorrow. I'm working on some other suff too that have been taking a longer time to finish because of my job. Oh, and you know what else will be happning tomorrow? Tomorrow I will FINALLY see "The Dark Knight". That's right people, I haven't seen it yet (well, it opened in theatres just last week here in Sweden...). It feels like everyone has seen it already and it's been hard trying to avoid spoilers and reviews, so I'm really looking forward to seeing the movie .

It feellike I haven't uploaded anything new in my gallery for a while now and there's a pretty good reazon to that! It's is not that I haven't worked on anything new lately, but it's summer and, like I wrote in my previous entry , I'm working all summer. BUT - there's always a but! But I haven't been lazy. No, no, no! Whenever I've had some time off work, I've been working on a few things, some of which I've uploaded today (Check out Sister, sister and The Lake).

I've actually been challening myself with some work using water colous (yikes!). Now, painting with water colours has never been my favourite thing, mainly because I've felt like I haven't been able to control my work with water painting. It's different with oil and acrylic paint, which I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about.

So anyways, my first water colour paintings are uhm...well, you can see them yourselves... Not so good , but I think I'm getting a little better the more I paint. I've actually painted a painting of "The Dark Knight" too, which I'm pretty happy with I'll be uploading it sometimes this week.

One of them is a pastel drawing of my cat Benji. I know it's not the best piece of work, but I drew it to try out my new pastel. It's quite hard to draw with pastel colors, though it was fun at the same time because I felt like a little kid playing with crayons again, hehe. Anyways, it was fun to try out something new.

I've also uploaded another drawing of LaBeouf (go figure...haha!) and another one of Jared Leto. What esle..? Oh yah, and another drawing of Mutt Williams. So there ya go!

In the meanwhile I'm working on some new drawings (I'm always working on something new!), but I'm not sure when I'll have the time to finish them since my summer job takes up a lot of my time and energy.

First off, I just want to thank you guys so much for the awesome response that I've been getting on my "Indy and Mutt" and "Mutt" drawings, as well on my other work too. Also, a huge thank you to khinson for featuring me! You make sure to check out her page, because she's a really talented artist!

Well, I've been working on some new drawings lately, some of them which I've uploaded now and some which I'll upload soon. Since I got such a good response on my "Mutt" drawing, I decided to draw another drawing of him and I will pload it here soon, so be sure to check back!

So I guess it's time for me to upload some new stuff again. I have a bunch of drawings that I have to upload, but I have to put watermarks on them first so in the meanwhile I've uploaded two paintings and three new drawings. And yes people, I've actually used colours on my work lately !

Anyways, don't get too carried away because the majority of my new work is still in black and white... Is not that I prefer drawing in black and white, it's just that I'm always drawing something and no matter where I am at the time when my muse comes alive, it's usually easiest to get a hold on a pencil and a paper.

Oh yah, I'll probably upload my other work sometime during the upcoming week.

I just haven't posted anything here in a while because I've been drawing like nuts recently (yeih! my muse is back!) and I just haven't had the time to upload any new stuff here. I'm working on it right now though, but in the meanwhile I've uploaded a few older drawings and paintings that I found laying around in my room the other day. Oh yah, and I've uploaded a couple of new ones. More new drawing are to be uploaded later, so feel free to come back and check 'em out!
