i think they would all get appropriate stares from people who think they are hot, because they are all fairly attractive. axie would probably get the most, though, SHE WAS A MODEL. (denver might get stares if people aren't used to mohawks (well, really, they're liberty/glory spikes) and bum flaps.

a) dan - yep, he's a pretty average guy
b) axie - i think she was the weird exotic girl that everyone had crushes on, so maybe a little on the outer ring of normal

a) dan - not easy to get him angry. it's more easy to make him sad and self-blaming.
b) axie - ehhh, average? she only ever got mad when people picked on dan (they are twin siblings, btw), or any of her friends. or, well, when anyone picked on any person who didn't stand up for themselves very well.
c) leslie - I'VE NEVER SEEN HER ANGRY.
d) denv - he doesn't get angered easily because he doesn't get into a lot of drama, but he does get pissed when dan flakes out on band practice to have sex. i think denver only gets angry when it comes to the band.

2) Does your character ever get depressed?
a) DAN WAS THE KING OF DEPRESSION. SERIOUSLY. he gets depressed pretty easily but not nearly as bad as a teenager. he's growing up <3
b) axie never got depressed - or at least, not where anyone could see her. towards the end of her life, she got pretty sad, i guess. she mainly hated her job and she hated the fashion industry and how it was so warped and how it makes girls feel bad about their appearance.
c) leslie - only when her crush, jamie (LESLIE'S A LESBIAN), talks about her boyfriend leslie's life is a tragic one.
d) denver - ...nope. i don't think so. LMAO.

b) axie - epitome of leader. she and caleb led their group into all kind of shenanigans as teenagers
c) leslie - follower, i suppose. she goes along with what other people want most of the time.

a) dan - everyone already knows everything about daniel. he is a sensitive guy, pretty witty, soft-spoken except when it comes to fucking. he is unashamed of being gay and sex. he prefers to put other people before himself, but he knows how to stick up for what he wants. he gets jealous and discouraged easily because he does not have much faith in himself.
b) axie - outgoing, living every day to the fullest kind of girl. her motto was to do everything, so she'd never have any regrets when she was 50. she was also very down-to-earth and appreciated everything that she had, because her best friend/first love, connor who had childhood leukemia and died young, taught her to be grateful that she could see and hear and touch and what not.

SO, this entry's sole purpose is to partly show off mine and ~shotgunriot's new MATCHING AVATARS~ and then for me to ask you if my half of the heart is wiggling or not. like. originally, i made the heart bounce up and down, but then i realized that the two icons would never synch up unless the two avatars miraculously loaded at the same time.

so then i made a new version with heart staying still, but same like last time, i'm having problems with getting my avatar to change. D: i upload the new one, and nothing happens. i cleared my internet cache and everything, and i still see the old wiggling version. erin's one is fine and staying still, it's just mine that's still bobbing around. do you guys see it wiggling, or is it just me and my awful luck?

Buuut then again I'm a comment whore and I love getting comments and praise. Though the praise is kind of meaningless to me as an artist if all you say is, "nice" or "cool" or "he's hot" or something like that. Yes, he is hot. Yeah, it is nice. Okay, it is cool. I'd rather people give me long comments pointing out the positives and negatives of my work. Anatomical error? Bad composition? Stuff like that.

I love getting long comments. The two people who never fail to give me amazing comments are of course Rabby and Janos . Janos always gives me criticism whenever he finds it fit to stop by my DA page, and he's always funny about it. :] Likewise for Rabby, and she's so enthusiastic about art! It's fantastic! Both of them are great artists and have made me try to better myself.

I don't know where I'm going with this. I guess I'll finish it off with a quote from Oscar Wilde.

When critics disagree, the artist is in accord with himself. We can forgive a man for making a useful thing as long as he does not admire it. The only excuse for making a useless thing is that one admires it intensely.

Don't you hate it when you are really inspired to draw, but everything you draw doesn't come out at all like you intended? It's such a waste of inspiration, I swear.

But anyway, the point of this entry is for me to pimp out some artists that I think need some major major recognition.

Her username drew me to her at first. < 3 I mean, who doesn't like that upbeat Gravi song?! So I mosied on over to her gallery and was blown away with her art. Her style is really delicate, feminine, colorful, and very addicting. She is super amazing with drawing clothes, because the outfits just rock so much. The way she draws her eyes and hair just tie in with everything so well. o: Come on. Who doesn't love a talented anthro artist?

Oh man, I've been bothering her for over a year now. I have always, always, always admired her artwork. There are a lot of anime-manga artists out there, but then there comes a really good one every now and then. Whether shes using photoshop or doing watercolors, she excels at it. o: I always admire the artist who style is amazing. Hers is! I could ramble on and on about how she draws her hair and neck and t-shirt collars, but it'd be way cooler if you just went and looked at her stuff. Now.

:iconmarriam-therriam: Another one focusing on style. The anime style tires me out easily, and her style certainly has its anime tendencies, but it's very...more general comic-y? Well, actually, she can switch between more anime-ish and more comic book-y effortlessly. The amount of detail she uses is mind-boggling, too. Plus her anatomy is great. There's just something about her work that makes you want more. o: (And dude, she has a DN angel icon! <3)

I found this lovely girl by way of Haru. o: You know how I keep ranting on and on about style? Freakin A man, she is the master at style. I find all of her work very inspiring, and I have to do my best to try and not to rip it off. She's a goddess with color, female anatomy, and detail. She's beyong-godly with oekaki. ! If you want to look at an art style that you've NEVER EVER SEEN BEFORE then you wanna look at my lovely lovely lovely Rabby. Her style is like the ultimate balancing act between anime and more American comics. The detail she puts into everything is freakin' amazing. She never leaves anything unfinished. Also, she has a way of rambling about her work that is a) amusing, b) interesting, c) informative, and d) inspires you to ramble about your stuff, too. It's really awesome when she goes into detail about how she had to white out this and draw it over in Paint that, and then you go and check it out and it's like, "WTF? IT'S PERFECT!" Anyway, she's a big Harry Potter artist with an amazing inking ability, sense of composition, and..and I don't know. Everything else that's cool. You can tell how much I like her by how much I've been talking about her. o:
