Absolutely sick of studying...can't wait for Christmas and a 3 month holiday. Hopefully spend some of it in Australia.

My parents have finally let me get a tattoo which I'll be getting in the next few weeks. It's my xmas present to myself....last year was an ipod, year before psp. Kind of a celebration of the end of school =]

Am loving Season 4 Dexter <3 Finally saw the most recent Harry Potter movie....was quite a failure....but I loved the CGI.

Just watched the finale of Six Feet Under. Seriously it's like the best last episode of any tv show ever! Sad to see it go =[

Now it's hard to watch Dexter cause I keep thinking "Dude Dexter's actually gay!" Cause Michael C Hall played a gay character in SFU but is a serial killer in Dexter who's not gay.=] very amusing

* Pining for season 4 of Dexter. Trouble is, is that New Zealand hasn't even aired season 2 yet...apart from on Sky. Lucky I've seen up to S4, but the promo looks way cool, and John Lithgow will play a serial killer! HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!

So Friday was the death of the great King of Pop; Michael Jackson. Such a shame, right before his last tour too. R.I.P Michael! However, something intrigues me. That night at work; before I got there, ALL of our stock of Michael Jackson CD's and DVD's sold out!, which is amazing, cause we rarely sold his stuff before his death (I work in the Music/entertainment section). I dunno why, but it seems people actually care to buy and watch his music and music videos MORE than they ever did. Though I s'ose it's because they want a piece of music history. Though, for me, the intriguing thing is why if you're a huge fan only JUST brought his music now?! Shouldn't you already have it? Cause I do....ohwell, to each his own. Seriously, he was so popular on Friday and Saturday at work, every second customer asked for him, and each time we had to say, we sold out. Haha, was getting a little sick of it to be honest.

Sunday to Tuesday we had a school trip for my history and the geography class about...well it took us 8 hours, but probably a 3 or 4 hour drive south of Auckland into the middle of nowhere called Waitomo (meaning Water Entrance in english) The trip as a whole, was quite boring, however the caves were pretty interesting. One is called the Ruakuri Caves (Den of the dogs)full of stalactites and stalagmites; pretty and contains glow worms and suspended walkways. Wanna know where the name came from? No? Well too bad. So Maori were hunting birds for food, but these two dogs came and attacked them where they lived in the cave. The chief (?) was angry as the hunters had dropped the birds and told them to go back for them, however they killed the dogs and ate them. That's where the name came from. Now, this entrance way was used as a burial ground but now a tapu (sacred) has been placed and is now closed off to all. There is now a new entrance for visitors to use. I suppose the bodies/remains are still there. Stories tell of the caves original owner lit as fire on the grounds after the tapu was placed. Him and his relatives died in separate fires. We Maori believe something bad will happen if you break the tapu; kind of like karma....so was the deaths a coincidence or something else?

There's a trail in the caves called, the Ghost Trail (just cause the temperature drops; there is a logical reason for this though). I went ghost hunting, took some photo's and orbs showed up. One in particular was a bright orb and I couldn't figure out what it was from. I took another, nothing showed up. Did I catch a ghost? For the record, the lens and flash were clean, there wasn't anything the flash could have reflected off...haha I don't really believe in ghosts, unless I have proof. Apparently, a ghost DOES inhabit these caves; a Maori chief is said to sit and watch visitors coming through the cave, to look out for the maintenance of the cave, to watch over like a guardian. True or not, I don't know, a medium picked up the spirit a few months ago. I'll prob post the orb photo soon.

Anyhoo, the trip wasn't all amazing, the glow worm caves were lame as the river had risen from the rain. To top it off, I managed to get myself pretty sick again...so lame! The burgers were good though.

Well I should be writing my English essay. It's on the film American Beauty. It's such an odd movie, but it's good....the first time you watch it, the next twenty times sucks ass. "In reality the rose is not the symbol of beauty but the symbol of falseness and the soulessness of conformity." like totally boring essay extract. Kevin Spacey....I can't watch a movie with him in it anymore =[ Possibly halfway finished, due in the morning.

New Moon Trailer? Even though it's like a min and a half long, this min and half looks better than all 2 hours of Twilight already! Now that's saying something for the director =] I honestly thought they were gonna stuff up the wolf transformations, but from the trailer it looks awesome, and Jacob looks fluffy and cuddly! And I'm surprised at how many favourites my RUN JACOB deviation has gathered in the last 24 hours so heres a thanks to all the 20+ deviants who took time to look and fav! So like, I just got my hair cut and dyed mmkay? so anyhow, my hair is naturally dark....dark brown, not black...but it's really really dark, it could almost pass as black. ANYWAY, I got the bottom layer dyed red and the top layer cut so that you could see a bit of the red. Kind of modelled off Jared Leto's hair in 'From Yesterday', but not quite. First thing some people say is......wait for it......EMO! According to this person who shall remain unnamed thinks everything coloured black and red is emo...like the dress my mother and I made for the ball.

GRaaar! THAT WORD SHOULD BE BANNED FROM CONVERSATIONS! except when using it in the right context.

Oh and apparently I'm scene....LOL I ROFL'd at that. But I think she was joking ><

Anyhoo, it's our school ball/prom on Saturday!! I can't wait!! The theme is Winter Masquerade, buh I aint gonna dress for the theme..that just sux...I'll probably post some pics on here after.

I kept making mistakes and stuff.like scanning items twice, I gave the wrong change to a customer, instead of $30 I gave her $20, I stuffed up a sale. I kept dropping my cell phone lol and my mind was else where....sick + tiredness + missing mum = disaster...Don't laugh at me either!

I've almost been working there for a year now! I myself am surprised at the fact that I lasted that long!. Woop!

Gah! EXAMS next week! Not cool.
