There is a really nasty stomach flu going around here.
I can't seem to eat anything, which is not good because I'm diabetec. I've had to force to keep everything down latley.

OMG ZOMBIELAND IS AMAZING.

I DESPISE MY ART CLASS. The art teacher is a nice lady just not meant to be a teacher.
She made everyone enter a town art contest which I did not want to be a part of, but if we didn't do it we would recieve a zero. Plus, she is trying to get all the more talented artists into an art show which costs ten dollars to enter, and takes 20 percent of profit to donation towards the library. I think that is a horrible deal seeming as how nobody would seriously show up, and I might not sell anything anyways. I don't even have ten dollars to enter. But my lovely friends asked if they could help out (you know who your are~!

Thank you anyways). I will think about entering next year, but as of now, the recession in Canada here. Money is tight here because of 10 people who are living in my house right now and my kitty kat Princess.

Oh I finally got the chance to talk to my friend Logan who is a Canadian transfer student in Japan for a whole year!

I miss him loads

He says Japan is absoloutley fudruckered in many ways but is good on the most part! n.n

Don't you hate it when one of your 'friends' asks if you'll be coming to a party for another 'friend' you weren't invited to?

I got news this morning that someone I knew many years ago was found dead in one of the city parks yesterday. She was the mother of one of my childhood friends.

School is going alright- doing okay in all my classes. Art is torture.

I just do what the teacher wants so I can pass. She's not teaching anyone anything...

Well, I am back from my art courses (camp...whatever you want to call it I guess) at the local College. It was awesome, except the food was absoloutley vomitational worthy >.<
I learned a lot of new art techniques! Next year I plan on taking the glass blowing course, where you learn how to make vases and beads from molten glass. I used plaster (oh, and by the way, placing vaseline and plaster on an incredibly hairy teenage boys' foot was probably one the of the worst things I've ever had to do.)

I made lots of new artsy friends who live really close by to me! ~fendstratchick,~CirrusTheCloud are friends I made this year and last year, my good friend Reece ~TheCrazedCartoonist(who was unfortunatley too ancient to come to this camp lol sorry Reece) is a fantastic characturist and I haven't seen in his art in awhile. I saw it yesterday for the first time and my expression was literatley:

WOW! Animethon was FANTASTIC this year! I have never gone before and I am already looking forward to next year. There were many amazing people and they're were so nice. I finally got to meet people I have been trying to meet so many times. For example,

was there and we hung out 95% of the day. It was amazing. I got to meet her mudkip brother too! He was well...I don't want to insult him by saying cute...but he was LOL. Sorry Wyatt.

Got to hang with some of my homies as well such as Jen and Nathan, ~tallfemalemanta~GoldenShoes and Carla.

The coolest person there (besides myself LOL) was Brad Swaile!
He was the nicest guy ever, he was very patient with all of us- especially me hehe. He signed all our lanyards. He also signed my fanart of Light Yagami (which I am incredibly euphoric to say he LOVED it- he said I should go into artist alley next year hehe.) Brad was hilarious! He doesn't really sound like Light Yagami unless he's singing CHristmas carols...hahah! He might be getting a deviantart account (because he showed me some of his artwork from his iPod Touch- he is a brilliant artist), I really hope so! So thank you Brad for making this animethon AWESOME.

Michael Daingerfield was there. I have no idea what characters he does- I know he does many random different ones especially transformers. It was awesome because I had drawn a picture of a bald man earlier out of boredom and since it almost looked like M.D I asked him to sign it. He thought it was great~

I will post it later.

Aaron Dismuke and Cailtin Glass were incredibly polite and nice because they did not have to stay for my friends and I, we were one of the last ones in the massive line and we still got autographs and pictures with them!!!

I had forgotten to ask Aaron (who was ridiculouslycutelooking) to sign one of my FMA Movie prints of Alphonse so I asked Brad very politley to get Aaron to sign it. Brad walked over to Aaron and pointed at me and Aaron made this huge dazzling smile. Ah, so nice of him.

Some DA artists I met were:

*Kamaniki Unfortuneatley I did not have enough money to buy from her (this time!!!)

And to make the day, I found buttons I bought Sydney and I and it was...

Sorry I haven't written a proper journal in a while, I have been super duper busy with Summer School and all the jazz that comes along with it like physical endurance tests (KILLMENAAAAAAOW.) and exams.

I said I would post more art this week but due to unfortune mishaps caused by local morons; I have been clogged with emotional stress/homework *and I mean, 3PM-11PM straight MATH homework* and teenage angst.

Ah, the life of me. I really shouldnt complain knowing Im getting an education, have my own home and bed, have food and clean drinking water, am a reasonable consumer, and live in a *free* country, but heck, who doesnt complain nowadays?

And I must give Thanks to everyone who read my previous journal(s) about my little DA friends list mishap a while back! I appreciate all the replies and messages linking me to more deviants I may have known before.

The art spirit to me has failed to appear a whole lot lately.
Or is it just me?

Since I am an artist-in-training, and I crave information from whatever art I can attain. To me, art is a window that lets one gaze into the artist's soul.

As for me, one of my all time favorite artists among millions of people all around the world also share a love for, is the one and only Leonardo Da Vinci.

Leonardo was born on April 15, 1452, in Vinci, Italy, just outside Florence, who grew up around 17 half brothers and sisters. Man, I thought I had a big family myself. In addition to being one of the most intellegint human beings in history recorded, Leonardo was reported to have been a strikingly handsome man with great strength and a fine singing voice. And unlike his fellow 15th-century Italians, he was a vegetarian and followed strict dietary rules. In fact, he loved animals so much that he would often buy caged animals at the market just to set them free.

As for his most acclaimed artwork, the Mona Lisa, known to be the world's most famous paintings and is celebrated around the globe...

"You may have noticed, you may have not, that the background behind her is uneven. Da Vinci painted the horizon line on the left signature signifigantly lower than the right. By lowering the countryside on the left, Da Vinci made Mona Lisa look much larger from the left side than from the right side. Da Vinci was in tune with the balance between male and female, he believed that the human soul could not be enlightened unless it had both male and female elements. Some believe that the Mona Lisa was Da Vinci in drag. Lately, I've been finding that reading's been helping clear my head from my troubles. It's difficult to do art lately, and I have a hard time with my musical leisures, the needle marks on my finger hurt so much when they hit the guitar strings and apply pressure on my beloved trumpet valves.

I really never realized how much I had going for me all up until lately, it's been one heck of a smack in the face of what reality is. *sigh* :sigh:

But I'll have to make do with what I can do, and that is to be able to read. Why not?

So I made a list of books I would enjoy reading, some of them again. I've even met a few of these authors.

Here's my _little list of books that I hope to own sooner than later, some of these books are RIDICULOUSLY hard to find nowadays. I love, love, love books and have already read most of the fantastic books but I hope to have them on my own shelf soon!

So I have been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. I discovered just the week before last. This is basically the only reason I haven't been submitting art is because I haven't been able to physically do anything .

With the help of my friends and family I have been able to pull through this ... situation. And thanks to all my friends here on deviantart for being so understanding!

But with the medication I take, it's fixed my vision!! MWHAHAHAHAH. It's amazing o_o

Happy New Year!!!

I really don't have much to say but to wish you a Happy New Year. Personally, I think the whole Happy-New-Year bit is a conspiracy made by liquor marketing to boost their sales overboard once a year. And technacially, shouldn't the new year start in April? (Jesus' auctual birth to date- it's not Dec. 25th, look in the Bible if you don't believe me. Well, you still don't have to I could care less.)

I'm sorry if I sound like I'm in a rather sour mood, because today (yes new Years day) one of my friends died. More of a family friend, but it still hurts to see your loved ones and the ones the person left behind to be in such grief.

Plus one of my firneds won't talk to me for the stupidest reason and I kinda wish she would grow up a little.

And I found out I could have severe diabetes.
I'm going for bloodwork on Friday and other tests.
Hmm...lessee...I've lost 6 lbs since my last doctor visit (which was less than a month ago) and I am constantly thirsty and can't get enough liquid in my system making my most likely overhydrated. My legs have been going through horrible muscle spazzems too which is like having a knife carved up your calf in the middle of the night, your legs are shaking and its almost unbearable. But hey, my meds have helped alot. (No Im not a crackhead XD)
And for some of the tests friday I cant eat for 24/34 hours was it? GAH Just kill me XD

As the name of the header clearly says, I fully enlighten and wish upon you my good friends the merriest of all Christmases this year. My holidays may have had some rough turmoil the past few weeks but I certainly hope yours haven't

Golly, the snow gets prettier every year glistening like feely made diamonds, I just love it!!!
The wind is bitterly cold, but today there was frost in the air quite literatly, and refracted light from the sun behind the dim clouds to create a sepherical rainbow around the sun. I have never seen the likes of it, and I was amazed. It's amazing what you can see when you look at nature at the most random of times.

Goodness, I don't know how I am going to achieve buying presents for all my friends this year I am just blessed with so many, so I really shouldn't complain! My family is all covered though hopefully.

I am taking a vacation from submitting art for awhile, but I am not gone. Over the Christmas holidays, I will continue with my art hoping on becoming a little more skilled with time. I will submit some images afterwards when the holidays are done.
