I'm coming home for my graduation ceremony @ November 19,
To be held at the Cathedral of St Albans ^______^
Hence,
I'll be staying at St Albans from November 17 till November 21,
Then I'll hop over to Stuttgart/Nuremberg @ Germany for the weekend,
And later head on to Michelau, Germany until November 25,
Which by then I'll take the plane from Frankfurt
To go (back) to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

It's half past five in the morning now, and today's the day I leave Hatfield for good.

Will be gone to Aunt's place @ Colchester, Essex for 1 week, before coming back to Malaysia - I'll be leaving Heathrow on the 28th by noon (well, the night flights for that date were fully booked ;_; ) and be home on Malaysian soil on the 29 July 2009, touching down at KLIA at 7:25am.

And because Aunt is Scrooge's sister, I will be Internet-less for a week - unless I managed to sneak off to the nearest Starbucks in town to go Wi-Fi for as long as I could. It's either that, or it's to use the library's service - though it's only free for the first 2 hours.



Yesterday Monday - I've said my goodbyes to 2 of my closest mates in the UK.

I never knew [goodbye] is the hardest word to say.

Coz even though I'll be back in Malaysia, I am not sure when I'll be coming back to the UK - my second home. Rather, it feels more home here than back home.

I had an inkling that when I returned to Malaysia, I'll get homesick of the UK - instead of the other way round.

I'll miss the tranquility of St Albans - the last drink at Mokoko Bar with dear Katya is the last memory I had of the quaint little town. I dearly love its cathedral, and even more its grounds and the Verulamium Gardens.

I'll NOT miss Hatfield that much - dead town it was - but I'll miss Rainbow @ the Chinese restaurant. Thanks for all the lovely meals.

I'll miss all my London haunts.

I'll miss Westminster, Leicester Square, and that damnable Kensington, even.

I'll miss the whole of London Southbank that has been my home for the past 10 months wherever I hit London.

I'll miss the bridges. Most of all, the iconic Tower Bridge - pride of the English, though her own people never saw and understood her beauty and history.




I'll miss London. Terribly.

And when I leave the UK, I'll miss England. Even more.





Ah well.

If Fate is kind, there'll be a chance I'll return someday.

But I will DEFINITELY find a way to come back.

It's home. After all.





I do know one thing that

when I return to my family

Things will never be the same again.

Today's my last day at my current accommodation at DeHavilland (DeHav for short).

And because they can't get my room ready at the other campus, they're letting me stay here for one more night before they officially kick me out of DeHav for good.



As of now while typing this, I'm probably the last sole surviving resident of Aldenham Hall.
Everyone else's gone by 10am this morning.
Most were gone by the beginning of this week already.


And for some strange reason, I ain't scared living alone in this empty building.

Oh well. I'll think of it as some survival horror RPG I'm stuck in (haha Resident Evil-style!), I'm alone in a bleedin' empty building, with a trashed kitchen, not much food left, not many weapons either, and.........several zombies @ people leftover e.g. guards walking around.

And this, is my last entry for the time being.

5 bloody months of the same project is enough to kill me literally. No, seriously. You have NO IDEA the amount of pressure and daily mental battle(s) I have to face in order not to go insane and start screaming over the huge amount of workload that threatens to tip my unstable mind straight into the abyss and never see the light again.

The first two months was fine, the third month the lecturer was trashing my hard work (three times, last count), and the last 2 months is just pure hell when everyone has to rush not only to finalize the design, but to do our 100-page degree book as well, detailing everything about the project from the beginning till the very end.

And after I got into a fight with some shitty bookbinders (if you're in the UK, NEVER EVER GO TO BLISSETTS to get your books bound - they give it late and they make it bad, not to mention lousy treatment - all probably just because what, I'm a goddamn Chinese?! UGH!! I'm NOT FROM BLOODY MAINLAND CHINA GODDAMNIT I'm from MALAYSIA!!!), I managed to finally submit everything right on time - and all that after a few breakdowns, screaming sessions in public (a fellow classmate who was with me was scared shitless, I had to apologize and reassure her that I am still sane), and as mentioned, daily mental battles.

Thank. God. It's. Over. FINALLY.

Now I'm scared of the results =.=; It's like, I poured more than my blood, sweat and tears into it, and if I don't get the grade I expect, I think I'm gonna break and howl.

But that's a matter to deal with later. *fingers crossed that no weird shit's gonna happen*



FAIRYTALE = LOVE!
My Russian mate and good friend Aleks showed me her idea of combining water with my light + shadows concept for our upcoming Truman exhibition. After showing me the Water Show of Eurovision 2009 (which is really really AWESOME!!! ZAZHIGAI, MOSKVA! ), she showed me the video of the winning entry for this year's Eurovision.

The song immediately caught on to me, and I'm immediately hooked to the boyish charm of Alexander Rybak It's a simple song really, almost like a folk-song in beat, but the violin riffs are just plain wicked (heck, his bowstring broke while halfway performing! But he still kept on playing! That's how cool he is!) and the song...is very, very addictive.

So addictive, I actually sat down to transcribe them by ear. Because the Net wouldn't cough up a single complete music sheet for me to play it, I had to write them out by hand - yeap, I'm scoring [Fairytale] for the keyboard (since now I only have a keyboard, and it's loaned to me from a fellow classmate/musician).
Sure, I'm doing it slooowly, but at least I'm halfway there now.



What Mischief Am I Up to Next
Seeing I'm officially off uni work (still need to handle the exhibition, but it's a class effort so it's ok), and my Japanese classmate's gonna leave the UK for good (NOOOOO! Don't go!!~~), she had a special request from me.

Which is to see me in cosplay - in real life - for her. All she ever saw was my photographs I'd posted online, but never in real person. So she wants to see me cosplay in real life - donning my Victorian gear @ cosplay as Zails Abigails, before she goes back to Japan.

So I'm doing it for her, sort of as a farewell gift + good memories + fun times for the last time while we're all still here. Normally I would not do it - I cosplay to blend in with the crowd, and usually only during conventions e.g. Comics Fiesta back home, London Expo here in the UK. Heck, I wouldn't dare to walk in broad daylight in full cosplay - people always give me the stares, and back home, I've seen my own people called me a freak ("orang gila") under their breaths.

Call me crazy, but I'll still do it NOW. This time. And all for her.
And therefore, a photoshoot (my first actually) is in order.

It's about the Critique feature that Oh-so-puts-me-off, because I, for one, CANNOT understand the logic behind this - that in order to give a constructive criticism feedback to someone, you have to PAY for it.

And I thought we're an art community where we Share our artworks and Get feedback on it, in order to improve and become better artists next time. Probably, IMHO, DA's pretty much forgotten its main aim/purpose to EXIST as a diverse art community that caters to all.

But anyway.

I find that giving critiques' fun - NOT in the sadistic or downtrodden manner, but it helps to build each other confidences - you as the artist to be able to take crits from others and improve your skills/work, and me as the critic to improve my design sense and judgement, as well as to communicate my opinions to others. It's a good process, I should say.

And (haha) being the nature I am, I only relish in doing so.

So...just a note. That if you happen to find me going around delivering two cents' worth of advice or a penny for your thoughts (especially when you DO see those words), that can only be yours truly It's part of me trying to establish myself as one who CAN give worthy feedback - and I am only more than happy to even give more, if my feedback was considered and the best was when it was taken, and used. I actually felt glad and happy that after so many years as a learning student/artist, what I've learnt and experience, I dispense as advice to others, which people could use

This...phenomenon, sort of occured due to having spent a few years on DA, where not only I see endless HUGE flood of "spam" a.k.a. all those "Oh I love it!" "Great work!" "Awesome!" "EPIC!!!" "Nice" etc. the blardy list goes on - on the artist's artwork's page, the page gets ridiculously long with the SAME repeated message. Build-up of Net clutter, I should say. Not that I'm against commenting or anything, but at the very least, make it a worthy comment, y'know?


Make a comment that lets the artists know how you personally feel about his/her artwork.

If you like the artwork, tell them what bits have interested you, why you are drawn to it, what does it remind you (it's a grey zone, sometimes it's okay and sometimes it pisses me off, it depends), etc.

If you find the artwork needs a bit more work, by all means, state it.

BUT If you find the artwork sucks, it does NOT permit you to go around bashing people. You're given the choice to either not comment, or give a constructive feedback - but DON'T EVER SAY "Your artwork sucks" and leave it at that. It'll leave the impression to others that either you hate the artist, you have no design sense, or you're just plain spiteful.


Which explains why I RARELY give out comments. All this time.

If I like someone's work, I just fav it, so that if ever the need arises for me to look for references (for my work) or I wanna share YOUR work with someone, I say "Hey I got him/her somewhere in my fav section, go look him/her up" and that's that. I do not go around spamming great artists with "LOL NICE!" - I think they would already know. Just that they want to share their great stuff with the world, and be happy.

(this, 'course, does NOT include certain pesky ones who WANTS all that spam - attention whores, I call them. Sorry, but it's true.
And there's two types of these people - the people wanting all that attention in the form of spam-comments (I'll never know the stupid reason why), and the people who GIVES mindless/useless comments/critiques to any Dick and Harry just so to get, again, attention. Again, I don't see the logic in this - and sorry I just can't empathize with these sort of people.)

But when I DO give comments, I make sure they're worthwhile.

And if a person requests a critique/serious feedback, I make sure they're even worth more - honest feelings, no biased judgements (there's some where just because they like the artist, they make a not-so-serious review just so not to hurt the other party's feeling - little did they know that by doing so, you're not helping the artist at all), fairness, etc. So if sometimes my words sounded a bit hard, I do it for your own good, and because I like you as an artist, and would like you to see how far you can go.

I'm...proud of what I've done so far. I've never tinkered with PS this long - and I actually used to suck at controlling light/gradients, and I've definitely never went as far as to do an underwater piece - because I may be an art student, but I major in interior design, not illustration (no kidding!)

...which explains my amateur-ish illustration skills of the past. I've been learning on the sides on-and-off while studying for my major - and the efforts, have paid off

Sure, I sometimes get the body anatomy wrong, but I learn from my mistakes. And sure, I suck at using a tablet (that's why I never used one), but using a mouse can still produce a great artwork - just needs CONSTANT practice and create new techniques that can help me out to do the work faster. That's why when before I take AGES to do one work, now I can finish them under 2 days (and the extra day, I used for final touch-ups ^-^)

Okay, enough rambling on my side now. The Salvation project, one that I've dedicated lots of time and effort in, has now come to a close...

But I DO have...another one It'll be a surprise. My hint? You can call it the secret 'ending' (sorry for the FF-influence XD;;; ) I don't know how far I can go with THAT one, but I'll try.

1st EDIT: More Notes!

Supposed to take detailed shots of the 300-dpi Sparda artwork (this here its resolution has been reduced to 90dpi to let it open in the browser easier+faster...), but the detailed shots start to tell a story of its own...

So I thought to take them and rearrange in a basic manga panel format to make them more presentable (can't just throw a mish-mash of them and upload it, it wouldn't do the artwork justice now would it?)

The original artwork (it's coming, it's coming) is supposed to show the moment he got saved (ack, spoiler! but not much, don't worry), but for SOME strange reason (heheh), the detailed shots are able to come together and tell THE STORY before he was saved (hence, the title Before Salvation).

If you're up to it, you can try comparing/searching for the parts in the final version that I've used in the Detail Shots. (Amazing, ain't it? That it can all be taken from just ONE picture I should try to do this more in the future!~)

Seeing it ended with Sparda and the road begins anew with that DMC meme (which I really took my time, working in-between assignments, and halfway even got frustrated because I ended up butchering Dante/Vergil/Sparda/even Mysso, at one point - I'm amazed that I even managed to finish it), I think I'll start upon the road once more...with a bit more confidence

My next piece, shall be my next tribute to His Lordship Sparda

...at least, I hope it shall be. Ever since the loss of some great DMC artists out there (one notable example being ~Divine-Star, I actually felt sad to watch her go), DA seems to kinda lack any good DMC fanarts of late. One or two good 'uns springs up once in a blue moon, like this one:

But otherwise...nada. Zilch.
So someone...has to continue the good fight.

In a gist...aside from the whole Dante-Nero mess (Nero basically stole more than half of the DMC limelight already, I wonder what Kamiya-sensei's gonna think), IMHO, I think the rest of the family deserves 'summore .

Vergil...no matter how corrupted you get, and no matter how much you wanted to destroy people and the world, you're still a Son of Sparda, and I'll still love you for who you are - being one of the coolest katana-wielding Dark Slayer and kick-ass anti-hero around.

Lady Eva...despite the few appearances, your presence (or absence?...) serves the most importance in the DMC universe, for you bring the entire Sparda family together, and for that I truly admire and respect you. (Trish can NEVER be your replacement.)

Lastly...His Lordship Sparda. The Legendary Dark Knight, the ONLY Dark Knight I shall acknowledged (sorry, Christian Bale/Batman, His Lordship Sparda existed earlier for me than you), the one whose legendary feats and equally legendary history are the ones holding the DMC universe/legacy together......it would be an honour to serve you.

But I have my reasons. This is the short version here:

Went to Ireland for four nights and came back on Christmas Eve...
And right at 0000 Christmas Day I got hit by appendicitis (after being poisoned by the 3rd muffin!)
Which landed me in the hospital in the next city for 3 days *ouch!*
And then my parents found out (yeah...big hoohah...)
Where they had me thrown under involuntary [house arrest!] at my aunt's place all the way to Colchester, Essex (an hour's drive from Hatfield here)
Because I can't go anywhere for the next four days - no stepping outta the house at all
And when I'm finally BACK on New Year's Day (yea!)
I got strict orders from back home to stay put in my place and no going out till after Chinese New Year
Because apparently I've facing my lowest point of the year according to some chinese fengshui-luck book
And the less I go out, the less bad luck I get to face [heh?? o.O;;; ]
And oh...did I mention I saw a broken-down Irish monastery FULL of those "people" walking around
And even my aunt's place has her "house residents" talking away at 2am in the morning in my room while I was there? XD;;;


That's the 2nd operation for 2008. I wish there isn't anymore waiting for me in 2009 (enough cutting me up, doc!). And enough...surprises from the otherworld - there's been enough 'accidents', and I wish not to offend another dead saint or sumthink wherever I end up...

What next? Uni's starting soon, and I have 2 final projects due right after the Christmas break. As much as I'd like upload some works up here on DA, I'll have to manage them in-between breaks. I dunno when I'll get my grades for the last 2 projects, and I hope my essay goes through just fine *fingers crossed!*

Other than that...I've been on a restricted diet rule for the next...98 days, and counting. Gone are those midnight pizza and Bailey's-drinking nights. Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh >____<

This time, I wanna break that record for this year's December!

So far, I've uploaded 2 works for December (DesktopWP doesn't count ya...), and I need to hit the other 6 more if I want to equal it, and make another JUST another one to break the long-standing record of 8!

Reworking / colouring posted old works don't count, so I'm digging thru my scraps (back in the sketchbook and one on DA), and see what else I can do that

i) takes only a day to do!
ii) only uses Photoshop and/or drawn in pencil/ink (because I didn't carry most of my tools here to the UK...)

While working on my projects, I'll take the break time off to work on this! 'Cos like, I can't sit at the table and crunch books for the essay for more than 3 hours straight - I'll DIE. So I'll need to do something else to break the monotony and then get back later on to continue the solid work...

So yeaaaah, 6 more and counting! Watch this space for further updates! And wish me luck!!~~~

I got thru the airport just fine

I got lost on my main campus (since I touched down in the evening and it was quite dark) on the first night. And it was a miserable night when the office peeps couldn't find my records for my room (but hey, that's what hotels are for!)

I finally got my room on Sunday morning. (and THANK GOD it's a BIGGER ONE)

I've met some of my flatmates here who came down from China to go study postgrad degrees / Masters. Amazingly, I'm (again) the youngest person around XP (and one of the sods taking undergrad). They're brilliant people, and very nice too!

I got lost in the LRC (campus library) on Tuesday. Straaaange registration process they'd had. I went up and down, left, right, and centre to get my ID card done. And there's SO many long queues, it took the whole morning. Shit happens, too. It definitely wasn't pleasant at all.

My alarm clock that my Dad got from Tesco moved a tad too slow on Wednesday, and I missed Wednesday's morning seminar (and this is ME we're talking about, who NEVER miss a single class before). And went for the Barn Dance at night (it's SO COOL! YEEHA!)...

...to wake up to tired feet the next day Thursday. AND it took me 30 minutes to re-orient my brain to say "Hey, you're taking an English test right now" for it's been 3 LONG YEARS since I last touched an English Language textbook. It ain't that hard, but I'm afraid my bad habit of writing essays-beyond-the-word-limit is back. (I hope they don't cut marks for it!)

And now here I am, posting! It's about 11.35pm here now (15 hours different with Australia according to a friend studying there) (6 hours different with Malaysia according to my Malaysian watch here ). That's a WHOLE lotta difference.

Oh wait, there's that turning-back-the-clock day coming soon though. But if I turn it back an hour...

...means it'll be an additional hour's different with Australia and Malaysia again? (YEAAAAP, THAT'S DST FOR YA)

And I've haven't got lost 'summore now.

(But I'm starting to talk like a Brit! There goes my Manglish~)

But hey, I've gotten what I needed all this while.

And it's official.

I'm heading to the University of Hertfordshire come next Saturday 20th September 2008 for further studies in Interior Design (my main major). Have been busy preparing stuff to pack, settling leftover jobs here, and yeah...saying goodbye to lots of things (uuh...my books! My organ!) and people (families, friends...and my dog, too!)

But hey, there's always MSN and Skype, yeah?

So...here I am, posting this year's first deviation, [Angel of the Sea]. My apologies for not updating as frequent as before, for I've been helping out my parents at work, and a 10-7 job ain't fun - it's tedious and the time goes oh-so-slooowly when you see the whole business/market going a bit slow this time of the year. *sigh*

As time goes by, I realized that I do NOT enjoy working life at all. I don't EVEN have time to come online, much less blog or check new works out. And then parents start giving me trouble, and I felt disspirited/depressed at the way things came to be.

...well, I almost lost my mind/sanity, but I truly thank the whoever's up there watching over me, for the protection and mental strength to go through this hard and dark times.

So yes, hopefully, my going to England will help to improve my spirits (and maybe bring back that passion I used to have), and well...I would definitely LOVE to see the world. I've been to Spain, Italy, and France, and they're all really wonderful places. So I'm really really looking forward to see what London and her neighbouring countries have in store for me! ^----^

So yeaaap...United Kingdom, the Trickster God's coming for ya! By the next entry, I'll be posting from my new room @ UH. *nods* And this time, I'll have more time for my artistic pursuits! ^----^

I hadn't realized I've been away for THAT long.

Notwithstanding, the last part of 2007 is not a smooth ride at all. I'm amazed I can actually survived it at all. Fate has taken a strange turn too, often leaving me confused and mad at the world at times.

But ah...all those will come to pass. They always will.

For now, I've started working, but that doesn't mean I'm leaving my passion behind - it's the undying passion, after all. I've continued to compile those sketches, waiting for a day to finally re-draw them neatly and render them nicely. And post them up here, once again.

And the rest...shall remain where they are, for the time being. Oh, I know where you all are...

...at least it ain't too late to say it now, right? >.< Apologies, again - the mid-term crisis period is here @ I'm so bloody swamped in final projects, I'd had difficulty even procuring time to come online to even check my email, amongst others.

...college life stinks when it's 100% assignment/project-based, take it from me.

For now, I could hardly give a damn to the half-done here-there-and-everywhere projects screaming to be completed.

I've got half an insane mind to save, less time to kill, and more blood to bleed - especially when you're dealing with an obnoxious overlord in coll ruling with an iron thumb. AND insane lecturers who passes you red herring after the other before putting you down with his Tommy-gun (yeap, my college mates'll know WHO I'm talking about). AND crappified connections that break every 5 minutes. AND well, bloody coll politics.

I've ranted enough.

On the bright side, I'm happy to see many new works (I got flooded by 90+ devs in my absence *swt*), and happy to get some of my own works fav (thankya for the favs, guys!), I wish success to and for their collabs (Trickster? Nice one ), and I wish, REALLY wish...

...well, I wanna be free from them college assignments >_<

...aren't we all the same - insignificant and bordering insanity just because we try to uphold our own principles in life? Vergil wants power to redeem himself and prove that as a Son of Sparda he can control both the human world and the demon world.

Me? I just want some recognition and acknowledgement. For the things I can do, and maybe, just for my existence.

But sadly, we're lacking those in that department.

Because we're not given the chance, are we? Someone else has to be better than us. Someone else has to be more RIGHTEOUS than us.

We're reduced to being outcasts in our own society. We tried to conform, to what others could accept, but somehow they wouldn't give us a chance at all. We're pretty good at our own things, but do we get appreciated for the things we do? We don't. We get used, cast aside, or else trodden upon like eggshells.

That's why you can't blame us for being ruthless. Bloodthirsty, sometimes, as I was known - my given title has been the "One-Winged Angel". His has been Nelo Angelo - Dark Angel.

So aren't we the fallen angels from grace, bordering near evil and being merciless when it comes to dealing with other humans BECAUSE NO ONE UNDERSTANDS US?!?!



....sorry to vent this out to you guys. I just need to get this outta my system - a year of hell with your "classmates" tend to break you down. Sometimes.

That's the reason why I wasn't able to come back to DA for...a long while. Today when I came back, I saw 80+ deviations and 70+ messages waiting for me. My inboxes got filled to bursting. I was happy to read them all.

But what hammers the sad conviction home that we were considered sad people in the eyes of others - where were the FRIENDS when you need them?

...I've lost a lot of things. He did, too. And it seemed so HARD to recover them all back.

Can we even do it? Are we given the chance? CAN WE?!?!

...all we ever wanted was just that. Recognition. Acknowledgement. Immaterial things that perhaps that what that rabbit demon said was right - only demons still value purity.

There is TOO MUCH work to be done around. The sad thing was when you're asked to redo something you've put SO much effort in (even though I had to skip one class because of a severe food poisoning case + high fever >.<, or get blasted (indirectly) for slacking when you're actually swamped in TOO MUCH other work, and THEN your comp gets hit by 100+ trojan horses, viruses, and spywares (mea culpa because I THOUGHT the Windows Firewall is good enough to block all this crap. My fault for not knowing *nods*).

Life sucks. Yeah. I know that.

So I'm gonna put ma break to good use.

It's not that I WANT to go on a hiastus, but things...have been falling all over everywhere. Fiascos erupt, problems appear, shit happens. All in just one friggin' month. To the point I'm pushed beyond my limit, and my mind, my heart, my soul, gets broken. I went insane.

But I made it back. It's painful to get up after you fall (and especially, a heavy one), but here I am, back on my own 2 feet. But the wounds wouldn't go away. It's too deep. When I try to think it back, I could feel the tears again.

And while things have gotten much better now - especially when I've dealt the just vengeance to the people who've wronged against me - I've sorta lost my touch with my passion.

When I come here, I would admire people's beautiful works, but it just doesn't give me that sort of kick I woulda get when I used see those works in the past, whether it's FF, KH, DMC, original works, etc. Somehow, I'm in the stage where I looked at everyone's works, and thought mine as really inferior, not art at all, or that people's works are so good, I'll never reach that level...

I absolutely hate to get myself in a low-esteem mood/depressed mood, especially since I don't really get into this sort of emotions, but when it happens...it'll take me a while to get out of it.

Not to say I'm leaving art/DA for good, but just...give me time. To recover. And though you may not see me faving arts or leaving comments as frequent as before, I'll still be here, but probably not as long as before. I need time to think, to heal, to get back my passion. To remember back what I had loved before, before the chaos broke out in my life.

So...I'm sorry. I shall...have to be on a hiastus now. Indefinitely. I do hope I'll come back soon. But for now, I need some space. Thank you for understanding.

5) The REALLY last one, before I go
Term's started, but that does not mean I still can't finish up whatever left over from my previous journal. (AND I still can't CG T.T). Still, drawing characters (especially my favorites) seems more a joy than drawing interior rooms in perspective (with agak-agak scale and proportion. Sshh, don't tell the lecturers ^-^;;;

One, is not updating for almost MORE THAN 2 MONTHS!!! ARGH~

Two, for checking everyone's wonderful deviations JUST today - yeap, 40++ messages in total. But don't worry, I took my time to go through all and enjoy everyone's work ^-^ Sorry I can't comment on all, but I'll try to in the future...T.T

Three, for not exactly slacking, but I got...distracted by a very addictive PC game. That game even distracted me from doing ma college assignments, to the point I'd sleep 5 hours a day just to finish everything.

Four, because of getting distracted, I can't even finish the work I'd owe SO many people >.<

Five...for not doing more fanart - I have those WONDERFUL ideas rollling around ma head, waiting to be expressed. More OC works (starring SALEM!! My little mage-kun~), some DMC3-related scenes, some figures, and more. Fortunately I'd wrote it down, but just haven't the time to do it properly...

Ah, c'mon, you think I'm gonna bored you guys with exactly 1000 apologies? The post will be so freaking long, I hafta add the 1001th apology for making you read that long *chuckles*

Still...I'd quit the bloody PC game already, and I'm focusing more on ma major - Interior Design. So maybe in the next few updates, you're gonna see some furniture/perspective/buildings.

.....NOPE!! ^__________^ Not yet, I ain't retiring just yet!! I owe ~shirou-oh-sakura and ~kumagoro87 some works, and some other people some portraits too. Along with those wonderful fanart works I'd owe myself!!

SO....do still expect some portraits/figures/fanart coming right in, along with ma Interior works. And perhaps...a little something extra, neh? ^-^

For now, my general rule woulda to at least update once a month, if not weekly. And I'll try as hard as I can to finish the works I owe everyone. Yeap ^-^ Also, I'm waiting patiently for the lecturers to give back ma AC poster and ma Beyond poster. *nods*
While waiting, someone is also waiting patiently for me to finish his beautiful portrait ^-^;;; (I've worked the framework out!! I just needa sketched it in, and ma masterpiece would be complete~~~ XD)

Anyway, the short stuff about CF in Malaysia this year are as follows:-

I finally put the finishing touches to Yamato that morning- doing the mechanism, adding the ribbon, and adding more UHU glue to make sure the mechanism stays fixed. Then at about 9am-something, got myself dressed up as Dark Mysso @ Mysso Almasy, her dark version - which is similar to her normal version, but with the red coat/jacket omitted and a black jacket with little belts and buckles in place, and Vergil's Yamato in place instead of Hyperion (Gunblade) and Ebony and Ivory ^-^

We soon reached the place (SSS or Sek Sri Sedaya) at about 3 something, and we took the lift up...

...to the floor of madness XD Okaylar, not all of the people here are mad (if they are, I will be the maddest of 'em all~~~muahahaha~), but yeap, there's a LOT of cosplayers roaming around. We crossed the bridge to the place where all (I think all) my class cosplayers were, and the whole group was actually the SDK group - I only knew that one of them was cosplaying as the main guy from Bleach, called Ichigo (Strawberry?).

Then we wandered in into the big hall with MORE cosplayers after buying the 'tickets' that was actually the plastic strap and yeap...everywhere and EVERYWHERE are mobs of people of cosplayers, puzzled parents, more cosplayers, sellers, artists, and yeap, cosplayers (duh, this is CF, have to expect a large crowd of cosplayers). Found there too, in the Ultraman suit, complete with mask XD Though it's a wonder she can walk around because the suit and mask was eyeless o.O;;;

Then we walked around, looking at the stalls and the goods (doujinshis, FF and anime merchandise) and borrowed a friend some money to help buy the Naruto doll for our other friend, and as we wander some more...

...'s bro came by. He did seem really interested as to who I'm cosplaying, so I told him - and he backed away when I told him the real Mysso carries two guns and a Gunblade. Still...he's taken a liking to my Yamato - he asked if he can carry it around a bit after I told him the sword is really based on the Yamato in DMC:SE. (Only plus side is, Vergil has to carry it by hand whereas I can casually sling it on my shoulder or let it hang from my waist XD Too easy~)

...I came upon a familiar-looking drawing on the cover of a doujinshi - the one that I remember Rachel (R) drawing class oh so long ago. So I asked the girl at the counter if she knew who Nuriko (R's signature) is, and she promptly called Rachel over...

...and yeap, she did her classic finger-point-and-shocked-face pose ^-^ She (as well as I) was very delighted to see each other again (after what, since the SPM results day?) and we yakked a bit (after a big glomp on her part - R is the glomping queen in our time) and bought her group's doujins when my other classmates from the same old school came by and there's the usual 'long time no see' part and we continued to chat until the group cosplay event started.

Of which they have to depart by then 'cos her father wants her back soon (awww....gonna miss all the fun!). So I was left to wander on my own and explore a bit.

Then I found and up front near the cosplay stage, of which I saw this tall guy carrying this silver-haired female dollfie that according to him was the Goth Loli Yuna o.O;;;

I'VE UPLOADED THE ENTIRE DMC3 TRIBUTE SERIES! WOOOHOOO!!! GO ME!!!!!~ XD

I'm happy because I have spent a lot of time and effort on it ^-^ Especially the last work, the A2-sized Illustrator poster *nods* Admist blur references, I've done it XD

Though I was horrified to have missed to include Dante's other trademark item (his PIZZA!!), I'll probably include the series of screenshots when he ate the pizza while dishing out awesome damage at this shop when it was attacked in M1 in my next (possible) work XD

But for now, I have done all I could, and yeah, I loved my works. ALL of 'em. ^-^ There MIGHT be a companion poster to this one though....just need to find more pictures of Vergil, and I am ALL set XD

I'm talking about....DMC3:SE! I've said earlier in my last post that I'd downloaded the trailer but I can't screencap it, right?

...well, I've downloaded another player (BSPlayer. MUST download if you want to screencap stuff! It's really useful!) and voila!~ I managed to get one whole BIG lot of 'em DMC3:SE screenshots

Oh yes, I know you want to know what happen to it.

Well...I've done it, scored a decent B- grade for it, and the teacher had kept it, saying he will return it soon...though he hasn't returned it this week. Hope he returns before term ends though...

2) Deviations
Every week my DevWatch hits past 20....oh man, I've been away for too long...maybe twice a week is not sufficient....should come back more often....
....don't worry, I'll still be looking at all you people's wonderful deviations ^-^

3) DMC:SE
What, in the world, am I talking about? What does DMC:SE stands for? XD

It stands for...*drum rolls* DEVIL MAY CRY 3: SPECIAL EDITION!!!!! Starring none other than....Vergil! XD

WHAT? Don't believe me? It's true! I've downloaded the trailer off YouSendIt (and the link I've saved has gone dead since it's past 7 days/25 downloads. NO!!!!), but luckily I've saved one on my computer ^______________^ I hope to make some screenshots and show you guys here but aiiiih, DivX Player doesn't screencap images.

But I'll tell you what's in store ^_______________________^ And for you Vergil fans out there, be screaming with JOY. XD

1) Vergil is a playable character. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSS! XD

I don't know if he's an unlockable feature or not, but I know he IS playable ^_________________^

2) Vergil have some cool moves, one that includes swords circling around him where he direct it at enemies @ Nelo Angelo's moves in DMC1. Serious! It's WAHLIUOHMYGODFREAKING KENG!!!!! XD

3) If you're playing as Vergil (you can still play as Dante, don't worry ), you'll fight Jester as a boss, and Dante the man himself as a final boss. This is BLOODY HELL OMG SWEET~~~~~~~~ XD

4) The best (and last thing before I delved too much info XD) is...*drum roll* Vergil has a Sparda costume @ another unlockable feature like Dante's ^____________^ and wait, wait, wait, don't go screaming yet, got ONE MORE juicy bit....

....he can Devil-Trigger into....*drum roll*

......NELO ANGELO! OH YES! REALLY!

So now you can imagine Vergil in Sparda's clothes DT-ing into Nelo Angelo wielding a big wicked sword and doing Spiral Swords......^____________________________________^

One of the MANY reasons I'm waiting for it this October, when it is released on September 30 *nods*

Though I'm DYING to play it RIGHT NOW. I want to play DMC:SE NOW~~~~~~~~~Go Vergil!~ XD

I know. =.= I've not been doing any fanart work lately. Not even drawing a single little bit...except the little sketchy framework of a something that's supposed to be Sparda. =.= At least now it did looked more humanish...but the face is starting to scare me...o.O...

...because, uh, I actually don't recall seeing any pictures of a smiling Sparda (especially if in near-realistic form), so it kinda unnerved me...a bit. Just a little bit. But I WILL go on working on this face to see what it'll become...*prays it be good*

And yes...I know. College's just started, and already in this first week, assignments are piling up. The usual, I guess. *shrugs*

But ah yes...it's good to know that the IlloFun lecturer allows us to use FF7:AC for our composition for next week. So yes, once I've done the FF7:AC piece, I will definitely post it up here to prove that NO, I'm not dead yet, and yes, I will still be doing artworks relating to DMC and FF.

Given enough time. *cough*

Oh, and even though I'd just returned from a long hibernating period of 3 weeks, damnit I'm still sleepy. *yawn* Coffee is starting to have a reverse effect on me (instead of keeping me AWAKE, it's making me SLEEP instead), and my other alternative (tea) has gone on allergic on me since a loooooong time ago.

Had a few ideas rolling in my head (some are weird, some are...uncharacteristic of me to think of, some are cool), so will probably work on them during the hols. Expect some watercolour work (attempting), charcoal (until I get the charcoal stick to replace the set I lost during Life Drawing Session T.T), a few pencil sketches and maybe one colour pencil sketch...

Other than that, tests are coming (NOOOOOO~~~~), projects are going down one by one (which is an extremely good thing!), I'm finally catching up on my sleep, I'm drinking more coffee than ever XD and...I my DMC and DMC3 soundtracks CD And that FF7 music book... the OWA arrangement to pieces...it sounded almost like the original (but they omitted some very good parts T.T especially the beginning).

All I want now is that HBP BOOK!!!!!~~~ >.< Everybody's done reading them, and I still haven't got it yet..........T.T

Ah well, I shall now be off to get a bit of work done................

I'm DEAD SLEEPY, yes, but definitely am alive.

I look inactive just 'cos the last few weeks I'm buried under so MANY assignments, and projects are starting to come in. And I'm very much sleep-deprived.

But ah yes, end of term will definitely be fun *chuckles*. Which is about 1 and 1/2 month away.

My fingers are twitching to play DMC3. Had the walkthrough book, but not the time to play. *sigh*

Am raring to draw battle scenes when I finally get the hang of drawing full-figures - for now, they don't resemble humans. Humanoid, but not human, since my proportions suck.

But hey, class practice for figures has become quite fun - I'd actually drawn Dante doing Rain Storm for one of the assignments XD

First thing: I. Am. Lost. (Total newbie here -_-)

Second thing: How do you classify this art in DA:

1) A few anime pictures (modified; obtained from various sources) are arranged/merged into a wallpaper-sized picture

2) CG pictures e.g. Final Fantasy that have undergone modification e.g. added effects, tinted, etc.
