if you haven't noticed my deviation level is down to (go figure) -2...i dunno where the negative number came from but oh well, means the same thing.

until further notice i effectively quit deviantart. it's seriously not worth it, and i was going to explain quite a bit about why in this journal but even that isn't worth it. the best part about this is that i had a document with all of my work in it and was going to drop it to a disk to save but my computer froze and it's 53 pages of poetry lost.

ironically i was considering doing this for a while but one instance in particular pushed me over the edge as far as the decision was concerned, ironically from the same source that prompted me to join this site...

just not worth it. never has been. don't really care, even that the poems are gone. i've lost worse. if you're really interested in an explanation note or IM me, and no, it wasn't suture, although that does serve as a good proof for the fact that deviantart will always remain a very close knit community.

and there are some communities of which i have never wanted a part.

and if not, heh this journal presents itself as quite useless so oh well...teehee...but anyways, the idea of a poetry magazine is good, but i must admit...it's extremely discouraging how particularly selective they are regarding the topic of what constitutes 'good' poetry....

in fact i attempted to start a civil (really, as polite as i could be) debate with one of the staff members and since this journal is not a part of that debate (which lasted all of fifteen minutes) i'll state my blantant opinion. she was very close minded and i must admit rather rude...(and a hypocrite, but everyone's a hypocrite, myself included as anyone who's read my info knows, so teehee, not something she can be blamed for in the slightest ^_~)

and if anyone else from the magazine reads this, i'd hope my rather harsh opinion does not change my point. angst poetry can be done as very well, and by using my own work as an example i am attempting no self promotion, i am simply stating fact and can cite many many other examples of dozens of poets that can be found on this site and are linked in my journal (most of them likely far better artists than i will ever be). I leave these links up to support everyone that writes any genre of poetry, because in the end biased or not, all poetry deserves to be read.

and that's your kudo filled rant for the afternoon. if anyone wants to check out the link and tell me their opinion i'd be peachy beyond compare to hear it in a response to this journal...

in other news, still mounds of homework and it's still absolutely freezing here. inanely cold.

EDIT: Regarding the magazine suture i just received an astoundingly well written and very diplomatic note from the editor, who frankly is one of the first people to surprise me in this debate as a very decent open minded individual on the goals of the magazine. i won't get into it but he seriously restored a lot of my faith in the possibility of the concept, by pointing out something in the first or second paragraph, even angst can be done well. can it be done badly? certainly, but also well.

woot, so you argue with many people and maybe get one worth while response. oh well....teehee...okies back to the weird poetry...

and a lot of it. and finals. and this sudden situation that actually requires me to pay attention to school lest i drown in a sea of angry parents and disappointed teachers. it's absolutely incredulous.

nah, actually it's only inevitable, happens twice a year and is nothing to worry about as long as it gets finished. but that means less updating and attention paid to this site so in advance if i respond not to comments or faves you all have my apologies....am working on it.

But anyways, actually since this is a poetry website you people could help me enormously if you wanted to....i'd be greatful beyond description really...i need to gather a little archive of 25 poems professionally published by well known writers and basically all of the great minds not of our generation. if you have a poem to recommend pleez link it in this journal and i will certainly use it since this project is one of three for one class due at the end of the semester, one of three i haven't even started yet. yes people, it is the fine art of procrastination, but if you'd like to read less of my work i suppose i could've wasted my time on these three pieces of busywork before....

wow weird mood i'm in before i leave for work....

okies, the extended following (which i bet i'm going to get into trouble someday for by an admin should they ever stumble upon my site, some of you fellow deviants have complained already, to this i say only, too bad 'cause i'm damned pleased with the journal set up) serves as the only form of evidence to something which i'm going to leave most that haven't been (honestly) informed at complete random, i wasn't going to say anything but the subject bounced in and out of my mind last night and i decided to just term it into an example that would prove the point efficiently....without actually saying what i'm doing. For those that get it the next paragraph will serve as my explanation, and for those that don't....well i'm sure your almost in a state of forgotten nature over it anyways, wouldn't see why you'd care....

You have my regrets but i'm afraid for this particular subject not my apologies, i respect any disappointment felt by the particular people this involves and invite them to honestly continue the project to their specifications if they'd like to, i wouldn't mind and would read whatever comes of it with great interest. I hope the implications don't change anyone's opinion of me as a person, deviant, or especially writer, because that'd be probably one of the last things i'd want to happen...you just might prefer to look at it from a view of patience...

patience is me staring at this computer screen for a while (when i really ought be back in bed sleeping, it's inanely early to be up on a saturday) and trying to put into words what i want to say to you people when really there are no words to describe it...because frankly the situation's never existed before and the opportunity's never been there....

patience is distraction. it's something i'm beginning to think where you just sit back and let the world fly beyond you in it's entirity, where you know exactly what's going on but let it ferment, you react to it first and you expect the happenings of anything short term or especially long....

patience is living with a dream that has been proven thus far as illusion, knowing that there are ways to get beyond your current state and having them be just that far out of your control, and having them in a future far away from now be in your control but having that future seem like eons, yet waiting for it anyways....and i'm not the only one that can relate to this....

anything is possible i've found, even illusion...i'm certainly not someone with a lot of patience but i'm attempting to learn it as quickly as possible, which is in itself impossibility because of the fact that true patience more than likely requires time, and that spirals back and returns to the concept of having patience with the passing of time at all ^_^, and all of the various possibilities you hope for and prepare for in your mind, so all in all the point of this entire journal entry i suppose is....

a good friend has my thanks....

...and the assurance that i really do have a lot to talk about in the meantime, for the sake of repetition that i hope no one minds....

oh, and one more point while we're on the subject, patience has also recently morphed in my mind slightly in definity, and i left an example of that that i think was missed completely....*sigh* oh well sometimes even the most enlightened endeavors are lost....just know that sometimes the point of making an effort to understanding the point of a particular poem or story is not to comment and reflect on said actual point, it is to comment on random aspects of life relating to said point and to have it go unsaid that whatever semblance of the point i can gather is understood, because that semblance won't change no matter what i comment, and sometimes the point of a comment is to simply point out one's own recognition of the fact that the poetry exists at all in it's own right, and that sometimes in paradoxial situations such as these, even the most pointed points are completely pointless in their own nature....

I'm sitting in school during a particular day on the calendar, a day that invokes for some reason i'm sure is completely beyond my understanding four parties straight in a row, food every single block of school and lots of cheerful faces, happiness all around and I am staring at this computer screen holding the tears behind my eyes like the acid i know they would be to all of these happy people. it's funny, i'm so close to not caring in the slightest except showing unhappiness at this time of the year causes such conflict, and i am so very tired from lack of sleep that i don't have the energy to form coherent sentences let alone explain to people why their happiness is absolutely terrifying....

i'm not sorry i'm different anymore. i suppose it has something to do with the conclusion that difference is a relative thing and for humanity a perfect paradox, but i am tired of tolerating this stupid little illusion of a society everyone has going on here, i may not have a tapestry on paper anymore but the reality is retained and i must say that i didn't like waking life then and the fact that it's only gained the potential to be much better is more pain than i care to describe very well.

silence because i have no wish to explain it to any of you.

silence because it could be explained so easily, so simply you just have to take a step back and really look at what you preceive.

silence because you'd hate me for it. i've built the personality on this site to a perfect human relation for a reason, partly because i suppose i really am the perfect human relation, except different from something any of you could relate to because i know what the perfect human relation is, paradoxial illusion.

and these holidays prove the point. just like school proves the point, work proves the point, i think my mind is being killed by the pure tactical implications of it, and you people think i could possibly feel better from my suicide, i've been planning to kill myself since i realized what being alive is, i want to get beyond this and see the rest of reality besides this hell, the epitome of all damned places in my own mind, nothing worse and i don't care if it's one of the most relaxed little pieces of suburbia out there, my mind does not cope with relaxation.

i am afraid to be bored, afraid to be happy, and now a bit afraid to dream because i know my dreams are only another inscalable level of illusion.

so really logically it all makes perfect sense and i can see it, don't need a story like solaridaen to learn how to take control but i suppose i'll write it anyways, writing is fun like that, it is the ability to be able to communicate with language, and i do like to communicate.

but silence is required before anything. therefore, most reading this can forget that i was ever wanting to die during christmas because really i've always wanted to be able to just simply see beyond it and can't, death is the simplest answer to a problem that will be left misunderstood, i think i'm truely forever cut off from what this race really is.

(if we were to be living in middle earth during LOTR, i'd be the person that'd have an evil eye like sauron's, except mine wouldn't just look menacing and fry people once in a while, it would blink at random increments of time just to scare the crap out of anyone looking at it, and prehaps if i was really in an evil mood i'd add an eyebrow to the top of it so that it could send people amused expressions too)

but there's good hot chocolate and a suspiciously tasty cheddar and broccoli (excuse possible SP) soup that i can have and i'm getting paid to be there....in other words i'm peachy with it, besides i don't have to see my parents at all on the weekends and that's (not quite) almost enough to prompt me to go with half the pay i'm earning now....

but the mention of my schedule did serve the purpose for why solaridaen in all blunt honesty isn't going to happen this weekend. i am going to start the first chapter which will be of no extreme length, although expect a good few pages at least....it's going to be dark but very interesting, and it will explain a lot of what telekinesis is for those who are still confused regarding it...

As for general game confusion, well i understand that it's a bit complicated but really you don't have to worry about that for a while, another point that at least one person will be happy of me making is that the GC currencies are going to be substantially close to perfectly even after all, although so are the prices for all of the various genres then, because variety is going to be important to this whole endeavor....but anyways...

only five people have sent me deviations but i'm going to do out the currency of those five so they can start anyways, although i'm going to ask all of you not to post until i have the first chapter up and that will be as soon as possible given my schedule i promise.....and the note with your GC number will be sooner, possibly sometime this weekend, if i get the time anyways....maybe monday during school...but for the seven people that haven't sent me deviations yet, some of you are delayed and i certainly understand that but others just haven't responded at all....*arched eyebrow*...i'm in no mood to chase after people, especially with the nature of this game....

on a more general note, i thank people for all of their comments on being able to relate to a lot of my work, especially that of extreme recent, although....relation is a point that isn't necessarily true in all respects and all cases, and frankly it's starting to get redundant....prehaps my mood has been so consistently unhappy as of late i'm just losing the ability to tolerate most things....or prehaps i am merely commiting a crime of our humanity and should refer the general public to a quote i left as a comment to someone once:

i've been reading a lot of journal entries and people are saying that they feel uninspired to all sorts of various effects, teehee, i decided that it's time to get involved in fiction again, since i've been so well inspired with my poetry lately, even if all of the inspiration is essentially venting a lot of depression. it doesn't matter, there are plenty of talented writers on this site, and besides, a game would be great fun, ne?

For those who are interested, it would involve any participant to write at least one good sized work of fiction and as many poems as they might need for anything, i'm not going to tell about the actual game until i get a certain amount of participation agreed, but i will tell you that it'd be a very imaginative strategy game, involving all of the elements of writing a fiction story but applying them to a set of rules so we get almost a literary game of chess going, it'd involve a lot of strategy that you'd have to weave into your story. It'll also be a mystery, since i'm going to be a sort of hostess and referee for the entire things, establishing the rules and a master story of the one all of our imaginations would weave. You would have full choice on almost every aspect of your work but there will be guidelines, just so no one's completely uninspired...^_^....

i don't care about age or skill level, right now i'm just checking to see the interest, the more people i can get to play the better the game will be naturally....leave a response to this journal entry if you're interested....^_^, many thanks in advance

anyways, besides for that...i am indescribably exhausted, in every way applicable. mostly mentally so though...oh well...life is filled with radioactive peaches like that...

apparently over the course of the last year i've gotten significantly stupider, at least state my test scores from the PSAT....this time last year i took the exact same test but scored 170 points higher than when i should have a better grasp of the knowledge in question....

well i happen to question the knowledge in question. actually more specifically i question the application of the knowledge in question, i went through the entire test (minus the two math sections, two fifths of it, math and i have an understanding to avoid each other as much as possible, and besides for that i really am a sucky math student anyways) which means the verbal and writing....

let's just say there's a decent explanation for what actually happened in almost every single answer i got wrong, consistently. I won't get into it but it's very annoying, i didn't actually do any worse on the test at all, standarized tests ask you to conform your mental processes to their opinion of correct answers, and well, if you don't feel like conformity....

I think that's the first time today I actually laughed out loud and meant it...so true. but anyways, working as of current on a lot of ideas, recently they've kept popping into my head at complete random....chocolate truffles and balsamic vinegar is a very tasty food combination, really. you can just take my word for it. ^_^

There is a foot and a half of snow on the ground...and i get to wake up tomorrow morning and shovel it in order to go to work...at least there will be eventual good hot chocolate.

electric cello is a very unique sort of music...*nodnod*....yay evanescence, apocalyptica, vertical horizon, the brilliant green, staind, nickelback, two-mix, the LOTR soundtrack (lothlorien anyways) coldplay, ivy, among composers chopin and quite recently grieg too....

anyways...my piano concerto in progress is in the key of G harmonic minor....damn i have no idea how i managed to pull that off. teehee....

Oh, and I've just converted a friend of mine to join, :iconpoeticruse: and i'd be very appreciative if all of my fellow deviants out there would do what we at this internet community be best at, bothering the forsaken sanity out of her with lots of comments and such of her work, she's a very good writer. i know you guys and girls won't disappoint. ^_~

Sorry, i was halfway through this journal entry yesterday and then the bell rang...but, that problem has been solved because-....

My computer's back! ^_^

now only if it actually functioned....kazaa's not working and i lost one of my messengers (MSN), i have yet to see how many of my files actually survived, will go through it laterz when i possess the energy and patience with this damned machine to do so....

parents virus scanned it last night when i wasn't home and found three 'suspicious' files that they deleted, it's wonderfully ironic that they have no idea what they were only that they might've had a virus, *shrugshrug*, i'll troubleshoot it laterz...

anyways, as for updates on this site. well they're still going to be infrequent, i had an excellent idea for another tapestry (for all that read that journal entry) but it was shortlived. (end of story) so to all effects of the imagination that isn't happening....

i have a few other ideas but for now, save poetry when i think of it most updates are on 'pause' for the moment. i got halfway through a poem that might or might not be posted but meh...not very good anyways....

also, i have another very good idea but for the moment i'm not going to say anything about it lest i change my mind...it would involve a sort of collaberative writing project from a lot of people on this site though ^_^....would be very interesting-

but we'll see. possibly. (as in i haven't thought of the reasons why it isn't a good idea yet, to the effect of that i know plenty are there, just to actually name them in my mind is to destroy another tiny tiny spec of optimism)....

apparently, since my computer is completely dead, broken, and in the repair shop for the next few weeks (it kind of exploded on me a couple of days ago, dunno what caused it, seriously, and it promptly lost the ability to even turn on correctly afterwards) it must've been a virus...therefore if i sign on the internet on my mommy's computer i will somehow contract another virus like magic and make her's crash...it doesn't matter that i don't know what killed mine or that i'm allowed on the internet for 'homework', all other activities, (like all of the important ones, this website for example) are strictly prohibited....

erg.

my family is a bunch of parinoid nutcases, and now everyone knows why....^_^....

anyways, about to fall over dead from a bad mood....my apologies but all activity regarding updating this site is going to stop completely for a while because i have to be extremely careful of signing on against the rules, i'll most likely never get my computer back and worse if anyone catches me doing this....i will respond to all comments and messages and journal stuff when i can but i'm not making any promises, especially for updates, but will try my best anyways....

Is a damn good example of among a few other things irony, generational gaps in society, all sortza good stuff....kind of gorey at the end, but that's okay if i could tolerate it i know you all can because that sort of thing disagrees with me terribly....

Anyway, I have another thing to ask of all of my fellow deviants, a friend of mine named Blanca Gamez is going to publish a poetry magazine in our native NJ, I suggested this website because there are people all over the world that post here and a lot of excellent variety of work. You can enter whatever piece you want and I'm almost sure in some form it will be published, if you have questions about it feel free to e-mail her at Avala2001@earthlink.net or AOL IM her, her screenname is 'onlybia'. If you want to e-mail an entry pleased include the name you'd like to be published under and a complete copy of the piece (obviously). Life is starting to spiral far beyond my control again and i'm afraid i'm barely keeping awake to keep up, got 11 hours of sleep twice in a row and am still dead tired, I'm lucky i have a four day weekend....can't think of any good quotes, hmmm, how about this...

Now for the real subject of this entry, I need the help of the deviantart community....does anyone know any good software downloads, of any sort just to improve the quality of one's computer and especially any interesting programs that you might have come by? I've checked out the software part of this site and can't begin to have a clue as to what I'm doing as far as actually downloading is concerned....help, tutorials, and especially recommendations for software would be greatly appreciated, I do hope the deviant public won't disappoint me....thanks in advance....bye bye for now.....

Ever had a period of time where you just cut yourself off from all human contact and think for days straight? Yeah i'm having fun doing that right now....working on LYN still, will admit that there's a major character death but the character doesn't really die, it just appears that way *manical laugh* ^_~....almost done the third chapter....but anyway....posting another odd poem today and then i have a question for all of you deviants out there....be assured, this is a hypothetical question only, were the situation i'm about to present actually happening, trust that i wouldn't be here, i'd be at the site of catastrophe with a party in tow having the time of my existence ^_^....

If the world were going to end tomorrow and there was absolutely nada anyone could do about it, no chance to save anyone on this entire peachy planet of ours, would you really want to know about it?....

Hmm....can't quite think of a brilliant quote at the moment...."You can't have rainbows without rain."

~From someone in my band after we got poured on at championships last night, placed fourth with a score of 96.3, it was extremely close.....rained on us and a few other bands there that night, but only those who preformed after us, in fact we were standing halfway inside the tunnel of Giants Stadium when it started....now normally i like rain, even then it was rather fun but there was inches of water collecting in my tenor saxophone, (for all that know how woodwind instruments fare in water)....

TMR is done, LYN is still being worked on, I'm rather depressed and extremely tired but ya know, life's peachy like that....the next chapter of LYN is going to be long and probably very strange, trying to think of ways to express a lot of ideas....will post poems at random....hello to anyone that's viewing my site ^-^.....

Otherwise the world is overall, after all conclusions are made and all enlightenment one would desire is acheived, too tiring for any sane person to tolerate for very long....fortunately i don't know many who fit that word very well ^_^...

New question: What are the most provocative or just plain coolest song lyrics you've ever heard? For me it would most likely be a tie between the song Shackled by Vertical Horizon as a personal favorite and Whisper by Evanescence as something that really makes you think of you listen to the words....any genre of music in any language would be awesome...thanks!

And I'd like to take a sec to also thank some awesome friends of mine and recommend their work...it is inspiring and excellent beyond compare, seriously ^_^....

But anyway, I'm working on two stories currently, one is LYN and is coming along quite nicely, I'll probably have the second chapter within the week. The other is a short story due Tuesday however, so it gets priority because it's for a class....even though it's kind of odd for school....

Now it's time for interactive journal-ish fun! This is a quote journal so I'm wondering what your fav quotes are. If you have a good one, doesn't matter what language it's in or what it's about (although unless it's in very easy french i'd appreciate an English translation enormously, not that you have to accomodate to a baka singly lingual person like me, but whatever ^_^) just quote whomever you want on whatever subject.

I had a quote from a band my friend laguin likes but she hung up on my IM conversation I believe because of the exacty reason I was trying to avoid a certain subject.

I hate it when people assume they know much and get offended over little...

Closed the window because I was rather hurt and forgot about the quote, neither of which should have been done but I have no control over how I feel....just trying to help others rather than hurt....for all the good attempting to do that does...the following is self quoted:

Sometimes it surprises me how damn accurate people can get without meaning too, there are thousands of quotes, song lyrics, writers and information out there; so much so that it gives people the false sense of security of thinking we have a clue to the world around us. Well among the jumbled masses I certainly am happy to inform all of you that there are clues, they just aren't easy to find, easy to decipher, or by far easy to accept once understood. The following quote describes it perfectly, from The Call of Cthulhu by H. P. Lovecraft. The story itself is good, but it's theme is expressed fully in the first paragraph, and I doubt most humans have the sense to actually realize what dear Mr. Lovecraft is trying to say here....but anyway...^_^...this paragraph put me in an ever so happy mood, once in a while there is actually someone who gets it....rare occurence though......

"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age."

But anyway, this is the song Shackled by Vertical Horizon, the lyrics are one of my favorite pieces of rock of all time, any good quote journal ought have them in my opinion...it's got a dark feel to it but actually a very upbeat message if you read it right...

Now I'm off to go read Harry Potter the fifth in one straight shot...870 pages...*manical laugh*...now normally I'm very much so a cynic of this particular series, but what kind of cynic doesn't know the material they're critizing, and besides, I must admit I do like the color scheme on the cover....my compliments to whoever came up with that BLUE....tee hee....

This would be one of the main theme songs to my novel Tapestry, if Tapestry had a soundtrack of course....(it would be a very good soundtrack too...)
