On to business! Being slightly over obsessive as I am, I'm hardly satisfied with just several dozen pictures of Dark Rock on the US sites. So, what do I do? Hit google! google.jp, that is. I spent a good 3 days sifting through junk, but I have most of the best links here with me. Some are a bit hard to sift, so, if you're having issues, reply on this journal with the link and I'll navigate you through the network. *shot* Moving along!

BUT. Like the pulsating darkness our club is just going to revive over and over again, and to start I've got a lot of BIG news, so sit tight!

First of all, please welcome :iconchaosemerald412: to the staff! She's going to help us maintain the club, since apparently... the current staff is too busy to do it effectively 8D;; *cough*

Secondly! Please welcome a new affiliate: :icongirouette-fan-club: I now maintain this one, so I... shamelessly added it to our affiliate list XD Anyway, please look it over! It's a really small club, but I want to change that. So feel free to look, join, all that stuff.

Thirdly! Members list is getting updated tonight! If you've submitted a member request lately that's gone unanswered, I'm sorry! Consider this a blanket "You're accepted!" message for all people with pending requests.

And lastly, what I'm going to do to help revive this place is a new contest. So keep an eye on the journal here for details as they develop.

~cbizumi here. It's no secret that this club needs art. But short of cracking whips over people's heads as they scribble away, what's a way to get art? Why, a contest of course!



What the contest is
Who can draw the most psychotic-looking Dark Rock. It can be the version from the anime, the manga, the games, your own, whichever. So long as he's psychotic and insane. Just like the Dark Rock we all know and love xD

When's the deadline?
THE FINAL DEADLINE has been moved to March 23rd. I know that's a long time to wait, but I want to give plenty of time to the people who expressed desires for the deadline to be extended for one reason or another.

Who can enter?
Everyone!

How do I enter?
Either Note us the link to your already uploaded entry, or leave it in a comment on this journal. You have until midnight on 3/23/2007 to get it in, remember!

How do we know who wins?
~cbizumi and ~Okabu will be judging this, due to our small number of members at this point in time. Expect the results to be posted at TtD within a week of the contest's ending.

What's the prize?
Along with being our Featured Deviation until the next contest, the winner will also receive a raw copy of Stream episode 36, "One More Rockman", aka Dark Rock's first real appearance. HOWEVER, there is a VERY small chance that it won't be available, in which case the winner will receive a subscription (length to be determined).
