I know I haven't been commenting much, nor uploading much, but I just don't have the heart for it.

I'll be back once in a while to pop by everyone's pages and drop a little comment or so... and if I ever get a piece of work worthwhile to be put on display I'll upload it.

Got tons of things to start 'tidying' up - including the toning up of my Chinese - and though I'll still be drawing (alot), I'll be spending very little time on DA. X__x; Hopefully I'll be able to take down the brb sign and get back to activeness...

So I finished the Yearbook page I was supposed to be working on. Took me ages to put it together, line in Photoshop and colour properly.

And what do I get? Complaints that I didn't draw them good-looking enough.

It's not that I'm expecting a large thank you or a party or even gifts thrown in my face - I DID volunteer to do that Yearbook page, and I suppose my classmates took that as it is. But at least appreciate it? At least understand that I took ages to do it? At least shut up about how bad I drew them?

I was all ">__< I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" this morning in class, apologizing to everyone because I drew them 'wrong'. Then I came back, and there I was thinking to myself - Why am I apologizing to them?

I don't owe them ANY apology. AT ALL.

But oh well, what can I do about it? Human nature to take things for granted I suppose. ;;

Don't know why I'm brooding over this little thing too... I used to be able to take it - being taken for granted and being complained to about things I did for them with my time - without any complaints, but today I got all cranky and moody and pissed off and snappy...

My bad.

I just have to get used to human nature. That's all.

Environment week has finally come to an end!!!

And giving me 3 things to be very very very happy about! ^^!

The first one, is that the teacher-in-charge for the Yearbook has allowed me two more weeks (that's the entire spring break) to complete my page~

And I'm the only one who has that priority cus I helped another teacher with her page~

The second one is that for this quiz we had to draw a conclusion to Environment week, I was chosen as a representative for the Red Team (like... houses? Groups the school is split into?), and we (5 representatives) came in first!!! WAAHOOOO!!~ vvv

Last but not least... For the competition to see which exhibition out of 5 year levels were the best... Our Garden Themed exhibit (that's including 2 gardens, one mosaic bench, and 5 posters) CAME IN FIRST!!! ^__________^

And for the prize, we get to choose one day to not wear uniforms~ Just our year level~ ^x^

Some people complained that it wasn't fair, but hey, we were the only ones who were working out in the sun, obtaining burns, tans, scratches, bruises and blisters right? ^0^/

Those scrapes on my hand are worth it now that we look at the final product too~

Lately my life has been going downhill and I've gotten more and more pessimistic day after day. Now I've found the source of my problems - I'm comparing myself with everyone. Well, not that comparing isn't good, but when you are a person like me, who is always aiming to be the top (which is definitely impossible), and you start comparing yourself with others...

...Well, yea. It's a disaster.

I decided from today onwards that I will stop comparing myself with others, and stop aiming for the top. .__. Easy to say.

Ever since young I had thought: Only if I'm at the top, and am the very best, would people accept me and like me.

Well, I still have that bit of me in my subconscious mind, and I'm still wishing to be better than others at things because I hope that others would accept me then.

I really, really, really need to stop comparing and stop worrying about what others think of me. Too many people in the world, and if I continue worrying, I'm gonna have a head of white and silver before I'm 50 years old.

I'm gonna be myself, and I'm going to have to be happy with that.

I guess there is no way to make everyone in the whole world accept me, and I have to grow up and live with that fact.

My history teacher said that people nowadays like to 'edit' quotes so that they could 'lie' without actually lying. If you get me. o_o;

(Eg, change "He was a great person in terms of strength, like an animal..." to "He was a great person in terms of strength...")

He said that if you cancelled off words, you'd have to leave a "..." there to show that you've cancelled off a word. That way, you're not lying, but people don't know what word "..." is.

Thusly, I've decided to make a statement about myself:

Been in the 'depressed, self-hating' artist state for a few days now, and I can't seem to draw ANYTHING right. U_U; Well, I'm striving to get better, to improve, and to be able to actually draw decent stuff... but for now, it's not working.

And, I can stare at the blank Microsoft Word document for aaaaagggeess and still can't type out the first sentence of Monochrome. And I only have 5 months left. *stabs madly at self*

Even though perhaps Christmas doesn't mean much to you, I think it is still worth celebrating the 'end' of the year, and welcoming a whole new year, a whole new path for us all~ ^^

Though I hardly did anything for Christmas... Due to my evil computer crashing - AGAIN, I do hope everyone has had a great Christmas, and liked my little (weird, strange, ugly, simple) Christmas pic~

I promise to get back to drawing once my computer's back!!! X___________X!

My computer broke down again. *tears at hair* WHY I SAY?! WHYYYYY!!!? The technician says there's something wrong with the Hardware. Well, that's all fine and dandy isn't it not? X_____________X

That means... Yep. No more replying to messages... unless I ever get the time to with my mom's computer... U_U;

Christmas Holidays are here... But what am I to do without a computer? o________o This shows how much of my life depends on a computer. Hahahaha... =0=;;

But, either way or another, as promised, my exams results!

A further note... My school uses something known as the IB program. I'm part of the MYP (Middle Years Program) and the way of marking exams is slightly different to that of percentages.

There are different Criterions to be tested on, and each Criterion has a highest level and a lowest level. Depending on how much one has fulfilled that criterion, the higher one would get. O_O; Basically... Though some of my exams had the percentages... those with percentages I won't put up the MYP criterion thing...

So, on to my Results!

English
Percentage:: 20/30 (. . .|lll At least I was second top? Top goes to ~SHF, with 23 marks... O_O W00t! *waves pompoms*)

Chinese
Reading and Understanding *Main Paper*
-> Understanding and Concepts: 7/8
Compo
->Content and Organization: 6/6
->Style and Language Usage: 5/6

Math
A: Knowledge and Understanding = 9/10
B: Application of Skills = 10/10
C: Communication = 6/6

Science
83/86 = 97%

Humanities
Geog: 100% (O_O; I think the teacher went easy on us...)
History:
A: Knowledge and Understanding = 10/10
B: Understanding and Application of Concepts = 10/10
C: Application of Skills = 10/10
Though the actual scores were below:
A: 7/7
B: 19/20
C: 39/40
... And I still wound up with full marks? X_X;

Well... at least... I did well... except for English. *literally slams head against the table* GAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!! I SUCK!!

This is the first time my depression could span through 2 days, without everyone's support I doubt I could've pulled through...

I was really really touched to see how many people bothered with my journal entry and replied to my pathetic excuse of a small problem! ^^;; Call me emotional, but during times like that, I just feel all depressed, upset, and I lack capacity to think everything through in an objective manner. (Hikari must grow up, yes she must... X3)

But now I know - it's up to me to solve my problems, and my future is under my control. If I want to chase my dream, no matter how high the walls are, I would be able to break them. I didn't really have that much passion in myself and my ambition last time, thus the reason why I broke down so easily. ^^ I'll make sure I talk to my mom about it~

My friends in school and my teachers have also provided a ton of support, and it is really impossible for me to express my gratitude... Though I spent more than an hour going through the replies in my journal, I feel that there should be more that I can do...

But there isn't. >____<;;

However, I'm working on a picture right now to thank everyone for their support! I'll try my best on it, but seeing that the exams are nearing, I really don't know when it will be finished...

But for now, there isn't anything I can do except to say four words to all who have helped me in this time:

I've finally found my own style (if you can call it my own style) and I am rather satisfied with it... (for the time being... X3) ^.^;; But I've also learnt how hard CGing is... X_____X;; OMG... One picture 6 hrs++... @.@;;

All CG artists out there! I worship you all for your patience and hard work!!! X____X

Heh, you can never truly appreciate something unless you have done it before... ^.^;;

Anyway... Our school newsletter is a complete mess. The Y7s in our school seem to think insulting teachers, students, the school and the society is fun. They think it is a joke.

Thus, our school newsletter is full of their rubbish.

And our teacher in charge approved of it.

Why?

Because people like reading rubbish.

Ha. Ha. Ha.

One day, I'm going to get a copy of the school newsletter, type it out here, and let everyone see if it's funny.
