Exhibition

For all who don't know what I'm talking about, read here: [link]

I decided on which pictures should be on the exhibition. Since quite a bit of the money will be going to charity I picked the pictures by what I think I might want to hang on walls at home.
I picked:


(a not uploaded re-edit though)

and another picture of a landscape with a boat and a sunset, that isn't on dA yet because I don't really consider it good enough. Maybe someday...

Photoshooting

Nothing changed about that, in fact there already is a date and an approximate location for the photoshooting I guess they really meant what they said when they told me that they wanted me to take their pictures! I still feel so honoured and lucky! Just hope everything works out and that I don't suck to much at portrait photography... tipps anyone?

Exhibition

First of all: Yes, I really mean what I wrote in the journal title: I really am getting the opportunity to present my pictures! How? Well... it is a really weird story A few people decided to gather art from our school (students, teachers, parents) for a charital event and selling it. Luckily I had told one of my favourite teachers, who also happens to be an amazing abstract artist [link] , about my photography and he told the teacher who is responsible fpr the charity event about me!
Meaning in the middle of a normal school day a teacher that I don't know walked up to me and asked me if I would be interested in having an exhibition and that I'd even get my own room!

It will be on the 27th of November at my school wish me luck! The prints are currently lieing next to me and I probably will be uploading a pictures of all prints together (into the scraps ofcause!!!) It is a really amazing feeling to go and print pictures knowing they will be in an exhibition! I am allowed to chose the price as long as my costs are covered and a bit goes to charity (and I would be allowed to also keep something for myself, we'll see )

Pictures

When surching for pictures for this exhibition I found old ones that I retouched meaning in this case the journal title wasn't totally honest. It's old pictures that I never uploaded with a new touch to them. I'm quite proud of them though!

Other

I also got a request for a photoshooting A really beautiful friend of mine and her best friend wanted to make a picture calender together. They also already had a professional photographer, but he died (no joke) before he could do his work. I feel really honoured that they rather have me instead of some other professional photographer! no clue if I'm good enough for that though. It's not like I practiced portraits (photography wise) too often... :S

Some of you might have noticed that I was rather absent on dA for about a month. The reason was that I was busy studying for 2 tests (one latin and one math). If I would have failed them I would have had to repeat the last school year

Something Different

As some of you might know I won a contest at and won 2 3-month subscriptions. I gave both to *DMKAAS, but one of the donators didn't come online since more than 1 month before the contest ended and there for didn't buy the subscription. I was so sure I wouldn't have any possibility to get it and was really sad since I was never planning on getting that price for my self, but for Dick.
Well.. I am glad I decided to write all of that in a note and write it to the club, because the winderful admin =TThealer decided to answer. After a few notes he said that he'll immediately buy the subscription for *DMKAAS himself! Because I am really, really thankful I decided to feature him

I'm back in Vienna and really can't say just how much I miss my boyfriend...
The fact that I hardly have time does help me a bit... I am taking extra classes to make sure I manage the test I have to pass to be allowed to start my next school year. (being a verbal and written Latin and Math exam) I'll need a lot of luck to manage though...

Ok... I talked to =1Tala011 again. Although there is still art in her gallery which I consider stolen, I will just let dA staff decide from now on. I still ask you all to report her, but please don't leave any kind of rude comments on her page. I know she hasn't been polite to me and I thank all of you who automatically feel insulted by that too, cause it shows that you do care, but she told me that it was unfair to call all my friends to help me against her and I think she has a point there.

So thanks to you all, go and report what ever you would consider stolen, but apart from that please leave her alone.

After arguing with for quite a lot of notes I decided to leave her "the fuck alone", since she asked me that politely. She kept explaining why she didn't steal any art with great arguments like "i didn't even know that was on da already so um therefore i didn't steal it". I also loved the explanation "i found that pic on google it aint art theft if its of google huh retard"
She told me to fuck off, that I'm a little piece of shit, a shitass, to shut up and finally to leave her the fuck alone ...oh... and I'm a retard and I should screw my self! I had a lot of fun those last few hours. I stayed polite and kept trying to explain to her what art theft is and that the stuff she uploaded was stolen. Seems like she didn't want to understand. She told me "i'll just make a new account duh!!!!" so I hope she won't go on with this.


She finally took down all the stuff she stole from dA-members (atleast the ones we found). However: There is still quite some stolen art from photobucket in her gallery. If anyone of you has an account there I'd ask you to tell the original artists.

Still hope dA gets her! Especially if she keeps on doing that on a new account!

Today, when going home from school I saw this man kneeling at the edge of the road. Somewhere near his knees lay 2 slippers, that must have been yellow some time ago. He started to arrange little stones on the ground, always rocking back and forth, talking to himself in some Slavic language I couldn't understand.

He had only been about 50 meters away from school so there had been another student from my school in front of me. The exact moment she recognized the man a teacher passed by. The student and I (who had just seen him too) looked at her with questioning looks. She stared at the man for about a second, then shook her head, seemed disgusted and mumbled "He's not my problem! Leave him alone!". The other student shrugged and walked on, but I just couldn't - neither did I want to walk up to a fully grown man though, when I don't know if he could be dangerous. At the moment he was sitting in a place where cars could see him and there was just enough place for them to pass too. Hoping he stayed there I went back to school and told my favorite teacher. He just dropped everything and went along right away.

Being back there, we didn't see him at first, then realizing he had crawled onto the pavement, but behind a parking car. Not seeing us, the man just ran along the street, crossed another one and knelt back down again to play with his slippers and arranging little stones. We slowly followed. As we reached him, he looked up at us talking to us in the same language he had talked to him self before. That was when I first saw his face closer. Both of his eyes were black and he had a huge cut over his nose that had bled a lot and the blood was still sticking all over his face. Also he only had a few teeth left and through his few hair one could easily see another bleeding wound on his head.
However... he was holding one of his slippers, telling us something. That was when I realized that he obviously had dropped one. Leaving my teacher there, who made sure that the cars drove around the man, when he crawled back onto the road, I got the slipper and brought it back to him. He seemed rather thankful but since it had dropped into a puddle the slipper was wet so he tried to wring the water out of the hard plastic.

Two boys, both being about 12 years old, called us from across the street, telling us that they had called the police already. That was when the man grabbed his slippers and ran towards the near park. Again we followed slower to make sure he actually wants us to follow, during running he threw his slippers to the side. He ran out of the park... we didn't follow right away since he seemed to be running from us. Then we saw the police car outside the side of the park he had run away from. While I went back to the police telling them where the man had run, my teacher went after him, but by now he had again escaped in the web of little side streets.

Asking peasants where he went we then showed to police the direction again. Since it only were a few streets he could now be in and they were already searching my teacher and me found ourselfs left with nothing to do, especially since the police had said that we should leave it to them. We talked about what problem he might have but didn't really come up with any more than that he obviously has an anankastia of some sort. My teacher speculated that it might be Asperger syndrome, but the man did have good eye contact with us and had spoken with us, so I rather guess it was something else.

There must have been about 400 people walking past that man before me and the only ones who did something were the two boys who had called the police (this although hadn't solved the problem of the man crawling around on driveways). I can't say how shocked I am by how few people help if someone is obviously in need of it.

I'll be in Tyrol till next Sunday - in a cute little town called Waidring. They live of skiing tourism (and therefor their mascot is a huge skiing Penguin called "bobo" but they share that mascot with a whole lot of other skiing regions around here [link] ) everyone knows everyone over there and it is one of the places where there is a few meters of snow when it's only a few centimeters in Vienna. I wish all of you a great time and I hope to come back with a whole lot of tyrol pics

Sadly they didn't make it, but they now founded our school band and are happy the way it is. Another friend of mine, Maria Kadiri, made it to the finals though. (I didn't ask you to vote for her because her style of music is way more popular and I was really sure she'll make it anyway).

This is the once-in-a-lifetime chance for 2 friends of mine.
They wrote this song and participated in a contest. The are under the best 10 and therefor in the internet voting. It is their biggest wish to become musicians and now they would have the chance.
The boys are called Dennis and Max, both 16 years old and really wonderful people.

Dennis is always there when I need him, no matter when or why and dreams of being musician cause music simply means everything to him. Currently he plays probono in churches and for school event. He has a great singing voice and is really great on the guitar.
Max is a really extremely impressing composer and great at playing the guitar and the bass. He loves America, Rock, Hardrock and heavy metal and is currently playing in a band.

Music really is their biggest wish in life and it's just a few mouse clicks away.

I had a lot of problems lately... but after waking up today somethings seemed different. Then I realized that it snowed outside, for the first time this winter and snow always had the most interesting effect on me. It calmed me down and brought me into a really extreme Christmas-mood I can just watch 3 little children build a snowman outside through my window it's already bigger than every single one of them
