Below,you can find my reasons for not being around:

#1:My university semester will start at 22nd of September,and I was serching for a hostel near the university.Me and two other people searched for 3 days but we couldn't find any nice one till evening of the 3rd day.Because nearly %90 of all hostels are under command of religious-order-based holdings/companies...This means; if you stay with them, you have to follow religious rules;if you rebel against them,neccessary precautions will be taken against you.

I don't want to be a zombie.

Whatever...I must keep going on writing.Other %10 are very very expensive.Whatever;I have to stay at one of the %10s.I submitted one of them,we got the deal.The big problem solved!

#2:The town I stay for now,has awful internet cafés.Net connection speed, bad web filters...

I don't want to suffer.

#3:There's no 3rd reason.

Because my net connection's cancelled... ADSL bills expense kept increasing, and parents were saying that I am the responsible one for that high bills... But I've got prooves. Also mother said that the bank or the dsl vendor's the responsible.

Whatever, now I am writing from a net café. I want to upload next wips of two of my works, but I couldn't find any working scanner in the area... Today must be a day from hell.

I went to downtown this morning, to buy a folder holder, an eraser and a movie vcd/dvd. I did all of that, and returned back to home. I prepared dvd player, the film was "hitman". Well my father went to the downtown, I was watching the film, and he came after half an hour later. He sat near me, and ruined my brain cells by criticising the film. He always does this! While I watching an action film, he just comes and says "what is this? so nonsense dialogs, acts..."... ... ...

I was more happier while I was living at my hometown without my parents... I don't want to be far away from them, but... I can't talk with them. I can't discuss! I hope "angry parents, hopeless child" image doesn't flash in your mind.

Dad doesn't want to listen to me since I graduated from high-school. Maybe the reason is he wants me to study medicine at the university, but I want fine-arts academy.

We take "baglama" (an intrument) lessons. Four or five weeks ago teacher there asked to dad: "Does Murat study at the university,or?..". Dad replied: "No, teacher, he's not a student yet but he plays well with computers (games)".. What is this? This supposed to mean...what? He asked a simple question, but dad replied in an insulting way...

Last week, someone asked again a question like the one our teacher asked, I replied "no, I'm not at the university, I want to study fine-arts, so will keep taking exams for it", then I heard dad whispering "... once in a time I've had what kind of great dreams about my son, but..." I argued with him after that. Said "What dreams you had dad? Tell me! Are you heart-broken because of me? Did I disappointed you?" then he answered "no,but..."

These "no,but..."s will kill me...

Maybe the best one;I was in Bulgaria,with some of lovely friends ( all of them was 30 years older than me but friends are friends eh? )
We gone to Jeravna,a paradise-like place,a village.2 days,2 nights,so much fun,good food (best food maybe),and home-made drinks:First night,my fellows (14 people) drunk 11 litres of vine!

Climbed up to "The Windful Hill" at there,2 hours of walk on 70 cm thick snow...At the hill,I got dead-tired

My art-teacher Muhammet Sengoz has been "jailed";because he've criticised the mayor of Izmit(Kocaeli/Turkey) and the political power of Turkey.It may be turned to money penalty,I don't know what's happening now.I will update the journal if I hear any news.

He was born in 1964,in Izmit(Turkey).He graduated from graphical design class of The Faculty of Fine-Arts of Marmara University in 1987.He finished his master with "carved wood print" subject, in 1990.In 1995,he gave his "Qualifiedness in Art"(equivalent of doctorate) with "The Artists Who used High Engraved Print Technic in Turkey" subject.His cartoons and caricatures printed in magazines and local newspapers.His first professional cartoon has printed by humor magazine "GIRGIR",in 1979.He've won 56 awards in national and international contests.He has been selected as "The Artist of The Year" in an election named "Doruktakiler 95"(The Ones At The Top 95) by a local newspaper(Kocaeli).In 1995,he has been selected as "The Caricaturist of The Year" by Karikatur Vakfi(The Caricature Foundation).As reward,his first caricature book has been printed.He is educating, teaching and raising students for fine-arts academies in "Fikret Mualla Resim Atolyesi"(Fikret Mualla Art Studio) since its foundation in 1994.He is continuing to do his artworks in his studio in Izmit.He published his second book "Orada kimse var mi!"(Is Anyone There!" in 17th of August 2001,by copiling his caricatures which he has drawn in 17th of August,1999(the time of The Great Earthquake of Marmara).He has published his third book "Cizdimgitti"(Drawn),by compiling his caricatures which he drew in the local newspaper.He continue to draw caricatures in the same newspaper.

This is the political (mis)understandness of Turkey you see.They've judjed three of caricaturists in Turkey for now far I know,I afraid of the numbers those judged will increase.What a shame for us...

"Who is next,Mayor?",

and you can see the text "Calisinca Oluyor"(We work-it dones/we are hardworking,it dones) on the next billboard.That's the famous "commercial propaganda" of the mayor.

This, what has Sengoz done, is criticising of the acts of "the mayor".He is still commercialising his acts like he is doing such a things as a mayor to advance our city beyond Europe standarts,and what he's done is "extra","bonus","powerup"!! according to him.He payed 169 Million YTL=$140,830,000 (USA) for water-transport/evacuation sub-structure in Kocaeli...Half an hour of raining has been enough to flood the city.Sengoz criticised about his commercials and his wrong acts,wrong plans;Sengoz judged and found guilty!

His eyes are wide open,staring blank.He wasn't breathing..I can't think that you can ever imagine my feelings there.I hope you mustn't ever need to do that.I didn't know what to do..

He's awaken about 10 seconds later I think,he wasn't remember what's just happened,I was in a real shock too.I held him up,taken two steps and he falled again.again and again...

I made him lay on sofa.Massaged his wrists with alcohol,he's got better .I was called one of my neighbours during I was taking him to the sofa.They came,and I've given a silent cry,like hysteric.

Given him some loaf,sugar and water.Than we went to the hospital,his test results've came,they're good.Just something about blood pressure.

Still can't believe what happened,what was it..I hope I can sleep tonight.I need a morphine just right now...
