Currently freelancing and job hunting. The market for creatives suck badly right now. But I will be persistent and push on.

I am currently thinking of some kick-ass villains even as we speak. I remember a long time ago, I read this guideline for characters to qualify as a bad guy in games:

1. Not procrastinating and setting it up.

For starters, Marvel ended up hiring me as a temp to perm last month. So you're looking at the Junior Designer in web production. *Glows with pride* The job is alright so far and I miss freelancing so much more. I'm still getting used to getting up at 7AM instead of 11AM -_-; I don't know how much longer I can tolerate a 9-6.

I've also started listening to a couple of new j-rock bands for inspirations, too. If you see a lot more new pieces up, thank Nightmare and RADWIMPS. Of course, I can't forget about Glay.

Long story short, I had to redesign my Love Addict homepage using that godforsaken program and well, it didn't get along with me on commands. At the sacrifice of quality on my text, I skipped that obstacle.

The rollover buttons was what did me in. I found a tutorial site to teach me quickly, but ended up in failure. It's safe to say I spent about three hours trying to get the damn thing up and it still didn't work.

School is tiring and so is art.
One of my professors is always on a need-to-know basis and it's aggravating. The other class I'm enjoying a lot because there are a lot of talented people in there and we give one another helpful advice and motivation.

Hopefully I can put what I did in that class up here once everything is said and done.

The Marvel internship is unfullfilling so far. Two words: Bitch work. They have me checking their myspace account for messages and new friends, for goodness' sake. And those things pile up after two days!

Good news is starting Tuesday, I will be a web design intern for Marvel Entertainment. I'm scared but excited about it at the same time. The best thing is they have overseas offices in Tokyo, Japan and London, UK; Two of the places I want to go to work. Coincidence?

Sadly, I have to quit the internship I currently have with an advertising agency. They were really good to me so I'll miss them a lot. What I do know is advertising is not my cup of tea.

Good news is I finished two of the three projects. The last one's very tedious. Let's just say I'm doing the research while typing the paper. Not fun at all.

On a lighter note, I've gotten a couple of great ideas for artworks during these strenuous and tiring weeks. I'll probably update after my finals are over, which is near the end of May. Then of course, summer break...

They have the whole 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' cast in there playing the lead roles! The only Japanese guy in there is Ken Watanabe from 'The Last Samurai.'

Just because Asians supposedly all look alike does not mean our cultures are alike. I mean, there are similarities but that's another story.

I'm actually reading the book right now and I think they should have casted the whole cast with Japanese actors but have it subbed with English titles since some of the Japanese termnologies are hard to translate in English.
