It was worth the money, the drive, the heat, the crowds: the whole of going to a massive outdoor concert.

They played beautifully, though the set was short, only about 30 minutes. Opening with Pure Morning, ripping through Nancy Boy, slogging down Meds until I cried only to speed it up and loudly ask that horrid, accusing question over and over in an almost angry riff, they did more than I could have thought to ask.

I stood in line for the signing, behind this darling girl from Ukraine. She had her camera and kept snooping pictures of the boys, who we could actually see from the line. She asked if I'd take her photo while they signed her things. I did, and in return, she took photos of me and Brian. So charming of her, and I can't wait to see them.

I bought the art book, which isn't that great, but hey, it's for charity, and there are pieces by people I love in there. I was clutching it to my chest, as that rather happens to be my usual stance, and when I got to Brian, I sat it down. He immediately said, "Thank you for buying this." I stood wide eyed, and stammered that I was grateful they did it. I slid down to Steph, who asked where to sign. I flipped it open to the first page, then babbled at the poor guy about how I had been a fan for almost 10 years, and this is the first time I had the opportunity to see them live. I don't know if I was pouring out love for them or just oozing Fanfagness. Steve was quietly smoking, lit cig hanging from his lips. He signed, and I grinned at him with a, "Thank you, Steve!" He smiled back and nodded, perhaps just happy someone knew his name.

I think it took a while for my heart beat to go down, and my breathing to return to normal. I forgot to have my shirt signed, though, and while I stood stupidly to the side with the girl I had just met, Dave got it from me and asked Brian if he would sign it for his (moronic) friend. The boys graciously agreed, and I have a shirt that I will never fucking wash.

I almost didn't put her in spotlight because she is bound to have a very large following very quickly. But what can I say? I'm a sucker for pirates. *twirls Jean's scarf about* (end EDIT)

Roar, drugged up rockin' hawtness delevered to you. I'm so in love with her. Is that unhealthy? Expect more photos from that shoot. I should have killed the mem card on her, but the lighting was poor and I really didn't have much to work with in that direction. I haven't done photography in a long while in any sort of seriousness, so you kids who know your way around a camera are welcom to share insights.

1. I hate these survay things, but I always feel obliged to do them.

2. My favorite band is actually The Cure, not T. Rex as one might assume.

3. I ... I like an emo band. T_T MCR just is too much fun, and really guns + gays. Did you think I could resist?

4. I really do have a fluffy pink scarf, just like Jean's.

5. I still can't do flat black in artses convincingly.

6. I'm a huge =maui fanboi, but I'm too wussy to do any giftarts.

7. I'm too lame to do giftarts for anyone. *shy* *hides*

8. Sam is the only reason I give blond boys a second glance.

9. Bois in eyeliner win my heart.

10. Girls in goth makeup make my heart skip a beat. *melts*

11. I wish I could still paint in traditional media.

12. I wish I had access to a darkroom. I really liked making prints in photography back in the day.

13. I tried to draw with just my mouse today, then sat there and wondered (mildly drunkenly) how I ever did ANY art on the computer.

15. I have yet to actually go to the shooting range, but I'm working on it.

I really need to work on my costume, but I have to alter the shirt I bought, and I don't know how to run the serger. I have to get some help from mum.

No one is home right now, and I'm listening to Placebo loud enough to make my desk shake. I am in hearts with my subwoofer. I have sick speakers on my computer.

I'm having a little bit of an issue finishing anything lately, but I have been slowly chipping away at the Elle collab. I think Alexis may have pulled out of the Cade/Terri collab because she's suffering bad artblock, but I have not outright asked her. Perhaps because I fear the answer. I thought about putting up some screens of what I have half done, but then I probably won't finish at all. "They're posted... That's good enough." NO! Finish something, and stop sucking, Jean! My muses are flippant as hell lately.

Anyway... There are four more questions open (See previous two journal entries). If I don't fill them by the time I'm done with the ones I have, I'm closing it. After that, and a couple of practices on Painter, I will open up for art trades and Collabs. *gaspu!* I'm not sure anyone will care too much, but hey.

~shionshion and I are doing something stupid (big surpirse [no]). We're going to do some "intense" CG action. Three pieces in three days. I bet most of you think that's lame, but I work so sowly and rarely finish such things. It will be good for me. Really.

Also... Alexis is gonna join Dev soon. SAM AND CADE ARTS! I'm so excited! Even though I get to see her arts. Hopefully, this will mean more collab stuff with her.
