is there a way to transfer deviations from one account to another?

the reason being is that i am thinking of making a serparate account for my cosplay pictures; i really want to keep THIS account for my traditional artwork. however, i do not want to simply delete my cosplay deviations from this account and then re-upload them to the new one (if i make one), cause then i'll lose all those comments, and some people will lose the photos from their favorites, and some clubs will lose them as submissions. is there any easier way?

thursday night: GREEN DAY!!!!! they are one of my favorite bands of all time--i simply love them. anyone can relate to their music, and i think i've become a stronger person through their music. this was my second green day concert, and it was a much more intimate experience (my first GD concert was during the american idiot tour and our seats were ALL the way in the back--thank god for those tv monitors! this time our seats were extremely close to the stage, and i could actually see everything clearly). but anyway, they put on a show of almost 3 hours of greatness! they played all the right songs (in my opinion), had fun with the audience, created chaos, and made everyone come together! i felt soo much better after seeing them (i had a crappy day, and the concert just released all the negative feelings away).
my only real complaint was that billie joe kinda made it all about himself and mike and tre didn't really get a chance to interact with the audience and the get the attention they deserved they are a big part of the band and its writing process, but billie made the audience focus more on him...
besides that, however, it was an awesome night!! i sang, yelled, cheered, threw my fits up into the air, and just let everything out...it was totally theraputic (like i said, i had a bad day)! it was a great and fun experience, and reminded me why i love the band. they really do change lives...


saturday afternoon: WICKED!!! my first broadway experience! i went with ~PhantomisErik and her grandma, and it was a BLAST!!!! i didn't know too much about the musical (besides the main storyline) and only knew of a couple of songs, but it really blew me away!! everything was larger than life from the sets to the costumes to the performances. and it was extremely clever too!! i can see why it is such a beloved musical--it has something for everyone! god, after "defying gravity," i was shaking; what a chilling performance! the whole thing was brilliantly done and was so beautiful!! and what a cute ending!

but i think the coolest part was meeting the cast from "the hillywood show" and amanda palmer!!!! yes, i met AFP and the hindi sisters!!! god, i was such a geek infront of all of them XD but they were all very nice--i got hugs from hillary and hannah, and amanda signed my copy of the "who killed amanda palmer?" book! plus, i got pictures with both parties!

oh, and gerard way walked past ~Gravity-lover-always and i! we all also saw him taking a smoke break outside with who i think was his bodyguard...

i think this year's comic-con was VERY successful!

wow, my last journal was posted in march? sorry guys, i didn't realize i had not updated things in a while! this whole school year plus walking phenmonia had sucked all of the energy and time out of my little body!! however, 'tis the summer now, i am on a two-month or so break, and i will HOPEFULLY have a relaxing, but productive summer! let's see...i have some collages to finish...and some to start. plus, i hope to paint, write, film, photograph and make the best damn cosplay costumes i can during these next couple of months! here's a to-do list of projects i hope to complete (yeah right!) during the summer:

*complete GIR collage for ~PhantomisErik (i'm not even done with the background!!!)
*start about 3 or 4 other collages i've been meaning to work on for MONTHS!!! (including one about a beanstalk? "into the woods" inspired?)
*paint some paitings for my parents (my mom likes a lot of art around the house)
*write some scripts + film them (including a silent film!)
*work on a Bellatrix Lestrange cosplay for Harry Potter film premire
*work on a Mrs. Lovett cosplay for Comic-Con 2009
*photograph photograph photograph!


i hope not to procrastinate this summer...

so...anyway, i am on christmas break right now, which means i have all the time in the world to make collages, take photographs, draw, write, or do any other artistic thing my little heart desires....but my computer is currently unplugged from the wall and under the kitchen table since we are painting the family room at the moment. luckily, we still have a 1998 dell computer in the house (the one i am on right now). the only thing is...well, judging my the date, it is very slow. it gets the job done...but it's just slow, freezes easily and loses internet connections frequently so, i will try to get stuff sumbitted (i'm going to try a drawing after writing this journal) but i will not guarentee many submitions throughought these two weeks. lol, even if this computer works fine, who knows if i'll even make anything! i might just catch up on much needed sleep and totally procrastinate on projects i've been meaning to work on...

ohhh, on a random note, i've been playing around with the style of stop motion (i feel just like tim burton-lol). it's not very tedious actually, i'm really enjoying it! i haven't made anything "amazing", i've just been doing some tests shots (or would it be test movies?) to practice with the camera, and to see how my figures move and look on camera. if i can animate them, i'll somehow post them.

so, last night i saw Repo! the Genetic Opera with ~PhantomisErik and ~Gravity-lover-always...and it was a blast! we cosplayed and everything...cause we CAN!! muahahaha...anyway!

here's the night in four easy steps (yay!)

1. opening band: i fell in LOVE with them! they were a mix between the dresden dolls and emilie autumn...loved loved LOVED them! too bad the lead singer mumbled the name of the band, i'd love to check out their stuff. if anyone knows the name of the band that is playing at repo! openings, can you tell me, thanks!

2. costume contest: ~PhantomisErik and i entered in the little costume contest they held before the film. she dressed as pavi and i as blind mag. and guess who judged the contest? composer/ co-writer/ "graverobber" terrence zdunich and music producer...umm...oh crap i forgot his name! now i feel really bad...well, they were there and ~PhantomisErik won along with two other people (including another blind mag) and were given a signed poster after the show. VERY cool!

3. the film itself: a very fun film! oh yes, seeing people getting their spines ripped out of their back is SO FUN!!-lol but i really enjoyed it! great music, interesting plot line,and a range of ALL interesting characters (i love them all--except shilo's kinda a downer). i liked how it was not drawn out too, it kept a nice, even pace. and yes, paris hilton does a GREAT job in it. i can see why people love it so much!

4. meeting zdunich and the music producer: (jeez, i really feel bad for forgetting his name) yeah, we met both of them after the Q&A after the film. zdunich came up to me and signed my repo! mini poster and appologized for the little mix up at that costume contest (long story) and then he signed ~PhantomisErik's poster. and then we met the music producer, he also signed her poster and said hi to us (and i got a hug from him). both were REALLY nice and appreciative of all their fans and supporters. they THANKED the crowd for coming. so nice...

damnit...it was another long journal...sorry bout that...but it was so exciting!!!

well, yesterday, i actually kept a promise, i visited the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego! what an unbelieveable place! they had some of the most interesting pieces (and very controversal...but what's are without controversy?-lol) of art i've ever seen. they varied from photographs, to sculptures, to movies to projections onto dolls yelling at you to get out. here's a break down of some of my favorite pieces (or just ones that i cannot get out of my head)

1. "get out" by tony oursler- this is the projection piece i explained from above. basically, the oursler created a little doll with a pillow (the head) and baby clothing, laid it on the floor, and created a fort with a couch surrounding it (like the doll was hiding from something). then the he video taped someone (maybe it was himself) yelling creepy things like "Get out!" "You don't belong here!" and stuff like that. that video was then projected onto the pillow, so it seemed like the dummy was yelling at you. by the time its eyes began shifting and looking around the room, about to deliver another warning, you were hooked! here's another projection by oursler that is very similar: [link]

2. canoe sculpture: i don't know the real name, but this is just such a cool thing! see it here:

3. mock medical area- again don't know the name of this one, but this one just gets your attention. it's a desk, with medical instruments laid neatly on the desktop, pans, needles, bloody gloves thrown around on the underneath shelf. around the tools on the desktop were two medical reports. one, about a suicide; the other, a car crash victim. then, displayed directly above the reports, onto the wall, were pictures that went along with the discription. the pictures were disturbing. it took me seriously 5 mintues to persuade myself to go over to the desk, it was that gory. you could see the photograph of the slit throat and the bloody hand from across the room! weird thing is, after i went over there, it was so disturbing, i had to keep returning--i had to keep reading the medical reports, and stare at those photographs...weird...

4. toy jesus- yeah...probably not the right name either. this one was really creative! it was a lifesize toy model of jesus, all packaged up in a plastic bag--all pieces included! it looked like those little model kits you could buy where all of the pieces are connected onto a grid, and you just twist the pieces off! it was so imaginative!

but remember, the main reason i went to MCASD to get more information about sumbiting my collages. the website said to go to the museum to look at cateloges of previous collections to see if your pieces would fit in. so, when i asked about it, all the receptionist said was "did you look a the webiste? just follow those instructions." ugg!! allright, whatever, i'll send the collages, if they like them, great, they'll display them, if they don't like them, that's great too! i won't know unless i try!


besides that, i had a very...inspirational day yesterday! if anyone ever travels to san diego (or lives near the area) i totally suggest visiting the museum!

i hope to go this weekend, but since i have a bat mitzvah to attend saturday, i'll probably have to push the idea out to next weekend.

there's this process you have to do go through to submit art: go to the museum; check out their work (to see if your work fits into the style they are looking for); sumbit the art through slides, website, photograhs, etc., THEN they will decide whether or not to display it(you might not get a response for months if they want to display it during a future theme or exhibit).

it's worth a try, right?

i'll keep you guys posted! i'm so excited!

and no, i'm not dead, school is just taking up all of my creative time. i apologize, i know i've made up a lot of excuses throughout these months as to why i haven't been posting stuff, i guess the creative juices haven't been flowing lately since i'm so focused on my studies. i have been playing with some collage ideas for a while, and i hope to make them happen this week/ weekend.

ohh, did any dresden dolls fans have a heartattack over the rumor that they broke up? i felt like crying--a lot of fans did. but i guess it was just a rumor, and they are really just taking a long needed hiatus from the band and each other...atleast i hope that's it.

the ship finished it's journey in vancouver, where i stayed there with my parents for a night. we didn't rent a car, so we just walked the streets for a while (in between talking 3-hour naps-lol). the next morning, we took a plane to san fransisco, and attended my second cousin's wedding. it was a beautiful ceremony, and the whole thing was really cute (my cousin and her hubby have known each other since birth). it was a really thoughtful wedding--the bride and groom did a lot of things themselves (they even baked their own cake with some family friends!!).

after another plane ride today, i returned home...and very glad to be home. i never thought i'd get homesick on this type of trip, but sure enough i did. ehh, oh well, even my parents got home sick, it happens to everyone. i've been so tired throughout this whole trip that i was really looking forward to sleeping when i got home, and of course that i am home now, i'm not tired (well, physically no, but mentally, yes)-lol

so, since i'm back, i will continue with my collages...and possibly poety? also, i took a crapload of pictures in alaska, so i might post some of my favorites!
