Payment:

I accept PayPal, major credit cards and money orders (only if sent with Delivery Confirmation and a tracking number).

How Does It Work?

Unfortunately, due to several people requesting calligraphy characters and then disappearing without paying after seeing preview images, I now require all payment up-front, no refunds, before beginning work. After you describe what you need and if you'd like a physical original or a high-resolution version, I'll get back to you with the final price and if you agree and pay, work will begin. I'll keep you updated when I finish and send you either the final file or a preview image for the physical version I'll be putting in the mail.

To celebrate, I went through and marked down all the prices on my prints, so if you've been thinking about getting some of my calligraphy or know someone who might like some as a Christmas gift, please check my prints out. For example, 4x6 prints are all $1.00 now.

I'm really busy as I'm getting ready to move later this month, and when I sat down tonight to catch up on my deviations and comments I realized there's just way too many now...

If you visit my gallery, you probably have no idea I'm an editor/writer in real life. If you'd like to see samples of my work, please contact me privately through a note for my resume and clips.

Why don't I put any of that up here?

I make it a point to never upload any of my written work to DA or any other site for two reasons.

1. It largely ruins any future chances of publishing the work for pay.

I advise any author out there reading this to keep that in mind: Editors are often uninterested in something that has already been published, and by published they mean put where others can view it. That includes the Web.

2. Why make it easy for people to steal your work by uploading it?

That one's fairly self-explanatory, I think. The only thing easier than stealing someone's art online is stealing their words.

My first journal entry here! And what a boring one it's going to be.

I just wanted to give a heads-up that I'm going to be uploading a lot of my non-calligraphy work today in an effort to flesh out my DA portfolio. I'm still doing my calligraphy, of course, but you might not see any for about 20 submissions or so. Just wanted to make it clear that I haven't stopped it or anything. Y'all take care!
