THEN he gets enough nerve to tell my step mom, and she calls MY mom and is all like, well, we want her (otherwords me) to come over next weekened and settle this out. My mom flat out told her t hat I couldn't because we couldn't plan ahead and we always stayed busy. I hate it for my daddy, but I'm not going over there for a while. He's trying to have a father daughter relationship with me, yet knows nothing about me! Neither does my step mom! And then what REALLY pisses me off is the fact that I have a really close cousin named Jensie. She's my daddy's brother's daughter. Well, her and her father don't have a good relationship either, and they just got back onto good tirms. Well, Jensie told my Uncle Yancie (her daddy) that he's got one more damn time to screw up before she says to hell with it and she could care less if she ever had enything to do with him again. My step mom was talking to my mom right? Well, she said, and I quote "Well, we didn't know if Jensie and her (otherwords me) were partnering up against their fathers, seeing as Jensie takes her (me) to school in the mornings." My mom told her, "Thank you very much, but I take my daughter to school, and in the afternoons, she goes home with a little friend of hers. I am having a contest, as some of you know, and I hope that more people will enter it. So far the only ones to enter are Talon-the-bloodwing and Shadowfox162. (i can't get the icons up at the moment! Comp's not letting me!) There was one more person, and I wrote their name down on a piece of paper in my room, but I kind of lost it, so whoever you are, please leave a comment here so I can add you! Anyways, here's what the contest is about, and the rules. (some of this has changed, so for the already sighned up two, you had better read this!) Thanks!:

Okay, the contest is going to be a picture made for the cover of my new story, which I hope to oneday be an actual novel. So far, I only have one chapter posted here on DA, but that is because I am still working and fixing up the second chapter. You must read the first chapter before you start on the picture, but it's not that long, so don't freak out! Here is what I need to be on the picture:

I need a good title (I have one, but I need to know if it's worth it. It's one of these three: The Butterfly and the Rose, The Farfalla and the Rose, or, The Farfalla and the Rosa. You can pick one of those three if you do not wish to think up a title!)

There is a butterfly I drew that I want somewhere on the cover, if possible. It can either be in the picture that you draw, or you could put it by or under my name on the cover. Either way is fine. I just need it on there. I might put it on the spine of the book, so, if you don't put it on there, no biggie! ^-^

You MUST put my name on there like normal books are. Example: By: *Insert Name Here*. I am going to use a fake name (can't remember what they're called) for the book. It is going to be Sasha Gabriel. So, put that after By:

Rules:

1) You, of course, must give me a link to the picture (duh)
2) Please do not copy the design from another actual novel or a person here on DA.
3) Be creative!
4) You can use whatever you want to draw it, but make sure you put effort into it!
5) NO NUDITY!
6) You can use any colors you want as long as they are not so bright that they blind me, but they should stand out and catch the readers interest so they will want to pick it up and see what it's about.
7) The feel of the cover should match the feel of the story, and seeing as I only have one chapter, I'm going to tell you what the feel of the story is. It is a romance, but had hardships, sadness, happiness, anticipation, desire, lust, and confusion in it, so yeah. Something with all of those combined, but with an overall romantic feel! ^-^

For all of my friends out there, I have a question! I have a NEW NEW character that I made up for a story/manga I'm hopefully going to do! It's going to be called (if I do it) Magics~Academy! The main character is called Merlu (mer -as in mermaid- loo- as in uncle lue!). Her full name is Merlu Merilaw (mer- as in merry- i - as in it- and law).
I was hopeing that someone very very nice, and someone that could draw VERY WELL, could posibly draw an outline of her for me from just a profile? AND hopefully, the same person that drew her for me could posibly color it after they've shown me the lineart of it? I know I'm probably asking alot, but I'm still learning how to draw myself, and can't draw hands, feet, arms, or legs properly! I have a LONG way to go before I can make a manga!! lolol!!
