There's a couple of archived intro stories on the right sidebar, in case you haven't read them. The first Slit strip went up yesterday and the first screen from Special Edition went up today. We'll post the second screen from SE tomorrow, and next week will start our normal schedule, and maybe even a LiveDraw activity on Stickam if anyone is interested.

I'm certainly not going to get anything handed to me in this business. I've entered two decent contests in the past six months. One, I should have prepared earlier i.e. got a colorist who was more committed, sooner i.e. you know who you are you little molecule muncher. However I can't completely pass the buck, I'm sure he got busy or something, I can relate. Two, the big CBR contest (Comic Book Idol), didn't even get an honorable mention from the judges. Again, a more well prepared portfolio could have fixed this. So what is it? Wait around for another fucking contest so I can just wait some more to find out some two bit hack made it before just cause he had more pages done. Nah. Just gotta do more pages. Been too distracted by bs and my own decadence lately.
So I'm submitting to image, Or Dark Horse. I've noone left to turn to but myself, when it comes to my work. I can't agree with other people and a recent experience in the world of web-publishing has shown I can't work on crap. I just can't. So I have to create something that interests me. Create a comic that I would read.
That's where Special Edition comes in. I won't bother explaining much, partially from my own paranioa, but you've got a mongoliod brawn-baddie turned good guy, one harry Dick (a Private Dick that is),poor man's superhero hit the big time, A man who , for some reason, just can't die, bathroom gangs, and a mysterious black cowboy and his cocky blacksuit partner who are pushing the 9-5 on a spiritual level. Shit, I've said too much. But that's still not even the half of it.


Hmmm. This online journal thing is pretty interesting. Somewhat cathartic. I wonder if anyone will read this.
