I removed several more pieces of photography. I am becoming a better photographer (and getting to use far better cameras) and I am realizing more of what makes a good or bad photo. Maybe some good photos to come? For the time being, I uploaded a fan-art I did of The Joker (played by Heath Ledger) in The Dark Knight.

Why did they have to make an Okami contest now!?
I'm really disappointed because I actually was/am planning on doing an Okami fan-art anyways since it's my favorite game and it's so beautiful, but I don't think I have enough time to do it in time for the contest. Maybe I will be able to pull it off anyways...

Edit 2: Thank you all so much for 1000 page views! Ok, now for more stuff. I am drawing Okami right now! Yay!
I am drawing this in colored pencil right now and it is looking great! I am also doing a project for a computer class I have and I drew an OC of sorts (it's heavily influenced by Rukia, so it might even be classified as Rukia, kind of depends on how much I change her look) and I will be uploading the entire drawing once it is complete. So theres two deviations coming in the near future! And I may upload a couple of original drawings I have done that are NOT anime/manga style soon.

Edit 3: My drawing of Okami is done and can be found here. Not entering it in the contest though. And I drew a quick sketch of Edward Elric and put it in scraps which can be found here. That's it for news right now.

A note about older deviations: My earlier work was sometimes noted in my Artist's Comment box by me as not being freehanded. I have now DELETED any drawings I did not freehand (why didn't I do this earlier!? :frustrated:). Those were purely practice to get me to draw better. I now do all my drawings completely freehanded. The following deviations were deleted for this reason:
GIR, Edward and Alphonse Elric 1, Edward and Alphonse Elric 2. So now, everything is freehanded! Thanks for your time.

Wow a completely fresh new journal finally. Alright, a rare treat, I have uploaded two deviations today. First is the final version of my fan art of Riza Hawkeye of Fullmetal Alchemist fame here: [link] . Pretty pleased with it, though I could be more so. And the second being "Arches", a photo I took which can be found here: [link] . Also, I removed the deviantART watermark for "The Eye" so it's just my own watermark now (it really improves the picture).

On a separate topic, if you like anime or well... movies at all, do yourself a favor and watch the movie "Paprika". It's my new favorite movie. More info here: [link] .

And lastly, current progress of things. I am currently working on a fan art for Paprika amongst some other fan art (considering another Bleach fan art as well as a Ergo Proxy and Death Note fan art). And for The Mario Story episode 1... me and ~Chase13 are getting closer to completing it, but still are not very far. I am guessing sometime in April we will be done.

Yay for the English anime version of Bleach returning! I missed it. Now, lets see some new episodes of Ergo Proxy :laughing:.

Edit 1: I hate deviantART's Collect system. A lot. I went through the other day and spent around 2-3 hours organizing my favorites... (I have A LOT of favorites). All fine until today. Today I tried favoriting two deviations: Solice by ~WhiteCinna [link] and Castle Overture by *WiciaQ [link] but is not letting me add either to my favorites. So, I decided to delete all my collections except two. Still doesn't work. So, I guess I will try favoriting them another time.
And on a separate note, still haven't got around to doing my collab comic with ~Chase13... and as for my individual work, I have a picture I want to upload, but I cannot think of a name for it...

UPDATE: I just removed several favorites and they are in there now.... how strange... is there a max amount of favorites or something?

YAY MANGA!

I started reading Cowboy Bebop and Fullmetal Alchemist. I have always wanted to start Cowboy Bebop. I plan on seeing the anime version very soon. And as for Fullmetal Alchemist, saw the entire anime series and absolutely loved it so I felt I needed to read part of the manga just because I loved the show so much.

I am currently drawing several pieces of work using Photoshop and GIMP. I plan on adding them sometime soon. I am very new to Photoshop (and GIMP) so don't expect anything jawdropping, but I appreciate constructive criticism on it so I can get better at it :).
