I realized a while back that I don't really use my Gaia account anymore, and even when I did , I almost never changed my outfit. So, I figured I'd sell off most of my gold and items for art, especially since I don't have any IRL money for commissions right now :<

I found a Zazzle seller a while ago who claims to have been given permission from layout and glitter graphic websites to use their images, but I'm sure those sites don't have the rights to the majority/any of the images they have available. She seems to be staying away from any easily recognized artwork and characters, and I need to be able to link to the originals, so if anyone can help me identify any of these designs, I'd appreciate it: [link]

I have a lot of my artwork available as prints on Zazzle now, as well as on other items like mugs, cards, mousepads, magnets,etc... so I figured I'd ask if there's anything any of you would like to see in my store? I won't be able to put some of my paintings on products there because some of my commissions containing other people's characters I've promised not to make into prints (mostly older stuff before I changed my commission agreement). Most of my artwork will end up there eventually, but it will take time, and I have other stuff I have to do, and some images need to be rescanned, so if there's something you'd like to see, let me know and I'll try to make it a priority. Or if you have any other ideas, whether it's something you'd like to buy, or just something you think would sell, let me know

Also, I just realized that the "chubby" business cards are the perfect size for Artist trading cards, so I will be making most of my ACEOs into standard ATC sized prints, if any of you collect them.

So I just found out my boyfriend's brother's fiance will be moving in with us in a month, not only that, but she will be bringing 4 dogs and a cat. We already have 3 dogs and 3 cats, and we can barely keep up with them, not to mention not having space for more (and what if they don't even get along?).

With him being co owner of this house (my boyfriend being the other co owner), I'm not saying he has no right to do any of this, my main issue is HE DIDN'T EVEN TELL US WHAT WAS GOING ON. I heard him talking to someone on the phone about his girlfriend, and i tuned in when I heard the word "U-haul", and then something about 4 dogs. Later his sister Elsa asked him about it and he got all sheepish, and admitted he was trying to get her here within a month. They've known each other online for a year or so, but they only just met in person a couple weeks ago.

Also, there's the fact that no one's ever seen or talked to this girl, no one knows what she's like. I realize that's mostly his business, but if my boyfriend and I are going to live with her, I want to know what kind of person she is. I feel bad because no one trusts her, (myself included) but he's so secretive about everything, it makes it look like he's trying to hide something, not to mention the fact that he's had bad taste in women before (his last and only relationship ended with a restraining order, I believe). My boyfriend might try to talk to her on MySpace (she added him there and it's the only way we know how to get ahold of her, aside from asking Seth for her phone number).

There's more, but I'm not even going to get into it. Just getting some shit off my chest I guess, sorry for the rant. It's hard living in this house, there's still so much clutter, and it's still in dire need of repair, my boyfriend and I have been working hard to try to get everything cleaned up and somewhat livable, but I don't know if I want to bother anymore if we're going to end up moving out at some point.

We'll just have to see how it goes, maybe What'sherface will hate it here and convince Seth to move out and we can stay, I dunno.

In other news I'm trying to get some drawing and painting done, it's going ok for now, but if things blow up here, don't expect anything new for a while...

So, things are a bit better now, ~bonerhole's been working a lot so we have money for food and necessities, but we still don't know how much it's going to take to fix the house, but hopefully some of his relatives will be helping. I still haven't been able to start working with leather, we've talked to my future boss a couple times, but still no training yet. at least i can probably help Ben with his leather work, and i've managed to box up some of the junk that was on the dining table to i can try to get some art done and finish some commissions. i've had art block for maybe a week or so now, so it might take me a little while to get going on that, apologies to those waiting for art from me, i'm sorry i'm such a slowpoke.

Thanks to everyone who bought a ticket, you've really been a huge help.

The other thing that happened was that my boyfriend's mother passed away a few days ago. Aside from all of the grieving everyone's going through, there will be a lot of legal stuff to deal with, especially regarding my boyfriend and his brother, who were living with her when she died. Luckily their sister is an accountant with power of attorney so she'll be helping them with everything. I have no idea what all of this will mean for us in terms of money or even what happens to the house, which either needs to be repaired or torn down and rebuilt.

I also don't know what this will mean for me and the job I was supposed to be starting, because, while I'm sure I can figure out how to cut leather well enough, I no longer have anyone to teach me how to sew it, since I've only really dabbled in sewing and my boss is too busy with her divorce, we haven't even been able to get ahold of her at all, as far as I know, so I can't even start cutting yet.

In short, we'll pretty much be living on Ben and Seth's (his brother) money, at least until I finish most of my current workload and can open up for commissions again. Until then I'm going to be lowering prices on the originals I have...

I realize there wasn't a lot of interest in a raffle when I asked a little while ago, but I'm in a bad situation money wise right now so I figured I'd try anyway. There's a "free" raffle at the bottom that helps us without costing you any money, so make sure you read the whole journal, even if you don't have any money to spend.

I'm currently living with my boyfriend, ~bonerhole who I met on this website. Long story short, the travel involved in a long distance relationship, food bills, house repair, the rent I was paying my parents, vehicle repair and other fun things have left us in debt, on top of that we're trying to fix the upstairs of his house so we can move in there because there's no room for my stuff downstairs and we're pretty much confined to Ben's room until then.

Aside from my artwork, I don't really have any money coming in, I'm supposed to be starting another job but my soon to be boss is going through a divorce right now so she's obviously very busy and stressed so it'd been hard to get ahold of her. Ben's work should pick up soon, but after this Friday he won't be paid for another 2 weeks, and...

Back from WI

Got back from WI a couple days ago, working on commissions. Hopefully I'll be able to finish most of them, starting with the oldest, and I'll probably be opening up for more commissions in a bit because I'm pretty much broke and I need money for some home repairs. It's weird how money can be spent so quickly, I had plenty of money until just recently, and then poof, all gone. It doesn't help that I'm owed a rather large sum of money I won't be getting back any time soon, if at all. Whoooo. Hopefully I should have a job more or less lined up for me when I move to WI in a month or so now, but until then I can't get exactly get a job when I'll only be able to work for about a month there anyway, that is, if I could find a job in this place anyway.

Would anyone be interested in some sort of commission raffle type thing? I probably don't have enough watchers between my devArt and FA accounts to make much off of a raffle, but I suppose it could be a tiered thing, more tickets bought = more expensive commission for whoever wins, and maybe more winners.

ok, bad news first. the weather's finally started getting cold and wet so i probably won't be online much if at all for about a week now, and i won't be able to work on my commissions or much other art for that matter until then (my only internet access right now is 2 miles away and i don't have a car so i ride my bike).

What I will and won't draw

Keep in mind that this may change in the future:

Will draw (but not limited to):

Humans, anthros (furries), kemonomimi (also called light anthro, examples include my dragon girl and anime cat girls), animals, pinups, nudity, guro (gore and certain types of freakshow, it depends on what you want), vore (hard or soft), bondage or implied sexual stuff (nothing explicit), tentacle stuff, non-erotic loli shota or cub art, hermaphrodites.

Will NOT draw (but not limited to):

Porn (I may or may not offer this in the future), insanely complicated characters (if you don't know if your character counts as too complicated, don't be afraid to ask), scat, watersports, vomit, anything remotely sexual involving characters that are or appear to be underage (erotic cub art, loli or shota), inflated or very obese characters (fat characters are fine, just not to the point where they're like a huge blob of lard with nubs for extremities), male pregnancy, unbirthing, adult baby/diaper stuff, mecha/machines/very inorganic things, anything that could be called hyper.

Might draw (but not limited to):

Characters clearly copyrighted by others if they're fairly well known or you have explicit permission - also depends on the situation (I probably won't be doing much slash).

If what you wan't isn't in either the will draw or won't draw category, don't be afraid to ask me.

Please keep in mind that everything will be drawn and painted in my style, do not ask for something realistic or done in the style or another artist.

Conditions/Terms of use

I reserve the right to refuse to do business with a commissioner if I feel I am not capable of drawing or painting what they requested in a satisfactory manner, or if they have gained a bad reputation among other artists, or shown me personally that they are a very unpleasant person to work for (this only applies for notoriously bad customers).

Keep in mind that I won't always work on things in the order in which they were commissioned, and while I do try to make older commissions a priority, I generally work on the project that most inspires me, but I tend to work on multiple commissions at once. These may take quite some time to complete, especially if it is a larger piece or if I am busy working (or job hunting, as I am doing as I write this). PLEASE, if there is a certain date the piece needs to be done by, let me know as far ahead of time as possible and I will make it a priority. Just keep in mind that the less time you give me, the more likely it is that the quality will suffer, so please don't abuse this.

For larger drawings/paintings I will submit a sketch for approval, you may ask for me to make a maximum of 2 major revisions, after which all other major revisions will cost $5 each. Revisions later in the drawing process will cost more. If for some reason I am unable to complete the commission for my own reasons I will refund you fully. If you cancel the commission I will refund you for the work that has not been done (example: you commission me for a painting and cancel after I finish inking, I will refund you for the price of a painting minus the price of an inked piece).

I also reserve the right to display the drawing/painting in any of my online galleries unless we've reached a previous agreement.

I alone retain production and distribution rights for my art, meaning anything I paint or draw (unless we have reached a previous agreement, or you commissioned me before I updated the agreement) I can display, print and sell, or use to advertise my work (if the work contains your personal characters I will credit you as their creator wherever possible within reason). If you are not ok with this, you can contact me and we can try to work something out. If the commission is for something less specific than an established character and the designing is left up to me (example, if someone asked me to draw them a purple dragon with feathers and left the rest of the design up to me) I would also retain the right to draw that character/species again in the future and profit from it if I wished. i have a colony of mealworms and i have way more than i need so i was wondering if anyone would be interested in buying some. i dont have any prices determined yet but it will be cheaper than what you'd find from other websites. i need monies so i figured instead of cluttering up my freezer with dead bugs (mum loves it when i do that) i'd see if i could pick up a little chump change while i'm job searching.

most of them are pretty big now, i can sell you just worms, or i can send you worms of different sizes and mix in some pupae if you're interested in starting your own colony. i feed mine cheap bran and vegetable scraps (apple cores and peels and stuff that would otherwise be tossed out) and a little dry dogfood dust from time to time, so they're pretty cheap to raise if you don't mind maintaining them.

they're raised away from any sort of harmful chemicals that could hurt your pets, this is the second generation i've raised and they're very healthy. if anyone is interested, they'll be sold by weight (the amount of worms per weight will be estimated) and shipped in a clearly marked package (as to avoid being damaged in shipping) with a little heat pack. i can only ship them in the United States or canada, anywhere else is too far away and it would probably cost quite a bit for shipping and/or kill the bugs. if the bugs die in the mail, i'll send you your money back.

i'm probably forgetting something, but i'll figure out more of the details later, i just wanted to see if anyone was interested.

convention ws fun, small, but it was a good experience for me. hung out with and and got to meet , who was fun and loud and kept me from falling asleep. also some other traverse city kids, if any of you guys stop by drop me a line so i can check out your pages, i'm a lot more likely to do it if i've got everyone's usernames in one spot instead of on a sheet of paper i'm bound to lose XP

if anyone has any information on getting prints made and pricing them out, i'd really appreciate any information. i'm going to a convention in a couple days and i've never sold or made prints before so i have no idea what i'm doing.

some of my stuff's saved to a flash drive, either because i don't have the original any more or because i wanted to compile a few smaller ACEOs/bookmarks onto a couple sheets, i dont know if there's a certain mode or file type they need to be in or anything like that.

i love sharks and i really hope this movies helps give sharks a better image, i think they're awesome but too many people have horrible misconceptions. i don't like preaching or linking to anything remotely dramatic, but if anyone would help spread the word, this looks like an awesome film

1. i talk to myself a lot, i dont usually make a lot of sense, sometimes i just say some favorite words, it gets pretty annoying and compulsive, like Tourettes, and i tell myself to stop :B

2. i talk to my dogs too, even if i still dont have anything to say, half the times its something stupid like "hi doggy" or calling them names.

3. sometimes i call them degs, habit i picked up from my brother

4. i like guro, i would draw it but i suck

5. i like foraging for wild food, im learning about edible plants and mushrooms as well as herbs and stuff :B

6. i also like gardening

7. when im really pissed i might smash my forehead against something like a book or a wall, not hard enough to bleed, but i get a good sized bump

8. i never go out in the sun unprotected, if i go outside in the daytime i wear; sunblock on my face, a wide brimmed hat, a full length jacket or sweater (even if it's 90 degrees XP) full length pants and gloves XD
