1. I've got Mono and I've had it for awhile and will likely have it for a few more months. But I'm finally slowly getting better. It got really bad for awwile and I still have some cerebral dysfunction as the neorologist said. So I'm walking like a one yr old (at least I'm walking again) and I also have some trouble typing (you have no idea how hard and frustrating it is just typing this) writing, crafting, drawing, and even reading. For awhile all I could do was stare at the tv screen. Even looking at a laptop made me nasuas. Now I don't feel sick so I'm more frustrated then anything because litle things that should be so easy for me are nearly impossible. And bored out of my mind because Im trapped in the house with little I can do. I've missed out on both Halloween and Black Friday so far.

2. I just lost an aunt. I won't go into too much detail, but she had Ovarian Cancer. We just found out this month and it went from a 2yr prognosis to just a couple days within weeks so it all went fast. And becuause of my mono I coulnt even visit her. I did get to talk to her once by web-cam.

3. My laptops been dead for weeks anyway so once I started feeling better my dad and I took it in but I wont have it back till the begging of Dec at earliest. If they dont have to order any parts for it. I only have my sistes for maybe an hour if I get up while she's at school and I have no way to do art stuff on it so I just have to wait.

Part of the reason for delays in photos was that I was trying to get them loaded to Zazzle before I loaded them here, but it's just taking too damn long. So I'm going to switch back and load here first then just add a link when I finally get caught up on Zazzle. If you ever see any of my photos or art (other then fanart) that you'd be interested in seeing merchandise of and there's no link to any, just leave me a comment and I'll move that to the top of my Zazzle list.

I'm also trying to get my laptop ready to be shipped off for maintenance which could take 2-3 weeks. So I'm trying to do a bit of a mass upload of my backlog of photos before that happens. So apologies in advance for the crammed up inboxes of my watchers. I'll try to keep them at least a little spaced out by hours or so.

One thing I did finally get done was my entry into the mascot contest for Kumoricon 2010. I don't really expect to win (the same two girls always seem to win back and forth between each other) but I've wanted to enter since the first year I went and just never got that far. I'll upload her later in the summer, probably right after the con.

Oh and the pig carcass... well look through the deviation I loaded today and you'll find him. ^_-

But on the upside I'm finally getting another craft shop running. I've set up a shop on MadeItMyself.com. I've got one item listed right now and I'll be adding some more later this weekend. Basically my plan is that whenever an item I have listed on Etsy expires without being purchased I'll switch it over to be listed on MadeItMyself so it can be seen by a new audience. And I'll probably throw some new stuff up over there too once I get it going. Then just keep switching things back and forth. I even lucked out with my timing, MadeItMyself is temporarily letting people list items for free! So if you ever wanted to start up an online shop, now might be a good time to give it a try.

Oh and Sarah, I tried that Spinich thing. Horrible waste of greenery.

I've got a Twitter account now. It's barely used so far, but I've got one. Same user name as here of course.

I'm going to dump a bunch of clubs off my journal again. If it's a club that hasn't shown any activity for about 2-3 months now I'm just going to consider it dead. I still watch them though so if any clubs come back to life I'll gladly put the icon back up (I've had that happen twice now).

Just wondering is anyone else annoyed by the new journal set up? Seems like I have to go through twice as many pages just to make a new entry.

But I did get a few new things done. The stuff that caused the artist's elbow... So that'll be up in a minute. And there's new stuff in my Zazzle account. And I'm working on changing the decor on my web page, but I'm still trying to figure out just how I want it to look. And I've opened another shop where you can buy my stuff printed on cool junks over at cafe press. But the way they set things up is odd to me and it doesn't have nearly the customization features that zazzle offers. I don't know how the quality compares either. But they do have some cool items that zazzle doesn't offer like underwear, wall clocks, maternity, and pet clothes. Which are the things that caught my attention in the first place. Still the set up process really annoys me so it's going to be awhile before I try to really launch that as an option.

So tonight I went digging through the multiple spindles of disks that have accumulated over the years and by the end I had a spindle full of just backups and stuff of mine. I've only gone through 2 of the disks so far but I was cracking up the whole time at some of my cruddy old art. And yet some of it I'm still kind of fond of. I kept finding things that I was suprised I'd never posted and othr things that I'll be uploading new unshrinkified images of (Once upon a time my biggest goal was to have my files be small enough to fit on screen and load quickly. Now dial-up is slowly dying and I use my gallery as much for storage to print from as for display.) some things, and other things that I'd love to do over when I get the chance and try to get them how I meant them to be.

So in short I'll probably be uploading alot of old work this week (might not be till the weekend.) Most of it will probably be loaded directly into my scraps. And I'll be adding even more to my zazzle shop as well as opening up my newely aquired (as of a couple hours ago) redbubble shop. And as always check out my Etsy shop for handmade items. There's a couple there now that I havn't had time to upload to deviantArt yet.

I mentioned last journal that I was really missing doing digital art. And then I started doodling stuff, and then I started actually making backgrounds for those doodles, and now I'm slowly coloring those doodles and actually putting some end effort into them and I keep coming up with more ideas for doodles and comics. Essentially my muse is trying to give me an aneurysm and I'm sorta luvin it.

I'm working on coloring 3 of them at once right now. I've got one that's pretty detailed and then partway through that I came up with another project that I've put alot of effort into and I keep wanting to go into and change things or add things, and then I started on a third simple one to sort of de-stress from working on the more complex second one... And I had a fourth project I wanted to do but I don't think I'll be getting to it before Christmas like I'd wanted so I'll probably save it till spring- It's for a gift and springtime means birthdays are coming around again for my family.

On the upside we got a new wireless router so I have more reliable internet access now, it still tends to spazz on me, but not as badly so far and I get a better signal from my room. We named it Gerbil Sausage, a joke between my sister and me. I'm gonna have to draw some gerbil sausage soon.

But at least I'll finally have it over with,,, ya know if I pass and all, which I damn well better.

I also cut way back on my hours at work. Told them I refuse to work past 3pm (except on Mondays) or on weekends. My manager argued about the weekends, but I held my ground. I just couldn't take the stress anymore. Now I can relax a bit for a couple weeks and then start looking for a new job altogether. YAY! sorta.

On the up side my Etsy's going pretty well. I couldn't live off it or anything close, but I'm making more then I ever would've expected (not alot, but still more) ^_^

Last summer I did almost nothing but work. This summer I've gots plans. There's our pirate shoot I hope will happen sometime in maybe July or so, dunno about the timing on that yet. The usual beach trips with the family.

Then on August 12th I'm supposed to go to Seattle for a day with a friend and her sister. At the end of the day we've got tickets to the Breaking Dawn concert series With Stephenie Meyer (author of Twilight series) and Justin Furstenfeld (Blue October). I just got a ticket thinking it was a regular book signing, but I like Blue October so this should be even cooler then expected.

At the end of August of course is Kumoricon in Portland, OR. I just really gotta get to work on my costume. I've mainly go sewing left, but I keep putting it off because I despise sewing. If all else fails I'll wear my pirate costume, but that won't be as fun and th pirate costume is oddly hot.

Then a week later I'm going to Vegas for a week with another friend. We're pretty much just going as sightseers. We've already decided that we have to see Phantom of the Opera while we're there (got great reviews from 2 of our other friends) and we're taking a day trip to Hoover Dam with a bus tour.

I guess its a good thing I'm not taking any classes this summer. I've got kind of a full schedule and some much needed vacationing. At the same time it's annoying hat it'll take me that much longer to get my damn assosiates. -_-

Still not a whole lot going on, the usual work and school. I want to really get down to working on my costume for Kumori-con this year, but every time I start I get interrupted by life. I've got the frame mostly done and bought the fabric. But I have to dye the fabric and that looks like its going to be a huge undertaking. I may just go buy a few dollar tree buckets to move things along on that.

I also decided on next years costume already. I'm awesome like that. I'll have to do part of it this summer since it'll need paper mache and the best way for me to do that is outside on a hot day.

The Etsy shop seems to be going pretty well. I'm not making millions or anything, but I am selling stuff so that makes me very happy. I just found out I may actually be going to Vegas this summer too, so I'm excited about that and worried about the money. IthinkI'll have to set up a separate savings account just for that soon. I'm not much of a gambler, or even much of a drinker, I just want to take my camera and sight see. Plus I really really really want to see Phantom of the Opera. I've had two friends see it in the last couple years and say it was awesome.

I also set up an Etsy folder in my gallery. I try to keep it updated. Anything I've posted on deviant art that is for sale will be put in there. Once it's sold I'll remove it from the folder.

Oooh it just thundered and some kid screamed. I'm glad my dog doesn't bark at thunder. Sometimes he shakes so bad though I'm afraid he'll have a seizure (he's epileptic)

*Some lady fell in front of our store and jacked up her arm. She went to the bathroom and was in there for forever, when she came out she was crying and asked me to call a manager for her. When her got there she kinda freaked and started asking how we coulda midded the slick spot on the concrete outside or something.

*I got a free poptart. I was sitting next to the vending machines in the breakroom when the guy came in to fix them. While he was working on them he turned around and sort of plopped a pop tart on my table. But he didn't actually say anything so I was just kinda like wtf? Is that for me? He left still without saying anything and left the poptart there. So when I left I moved it on top of the fridge where he could still see it if he looked around. When I went back for my next break it was still there, so I ate it. ^_^

*The assistant manager stole a kids shoes. A littl 3yr old took off his shoes and set them on the shelf and stuck on a new pair and walked away to show his mom and grandma. The assistant manager walked by and only saw the shoes. It's not uncommon for people to come to the store and walk out in a newly stolen pair of shoes and leave there's behind. The assistant manager thought that's what happened and showed them to me bfore carrying them off. Not more then a minute later the mom and grandma came over asking if I had any idea where the shoes where. I told them I did and paged the assistant manager. When he called me back I said "Chuck! The kid wants his shoes back." He started cracking up and said he'd be right there. What I didn't tell the family was that he'd probably had to fish them out of the garbage first. Hopefully it was just one of the garbages that usually only hold packaging and broken hangers.

*My mom came home. I didn't even know she was home till I was standing in the driveway and my aunt that'd driven me home told me. -_- Always good to be the last to know. She's alot better but still pretty weak. And she's got a fever. They told her not to let it get past 102, but when they sent her home it was 104. I guessshe will have to go back later for the surgery yet though. Hopefully that will be simple.

Day 1 we spent in the ER. Funny thing is my cousin's fiancee ended up in the ER for pnemonia the same time, so as usual it was the whole Apilado clan sitting around cracking jokes and trying not to gag as the sick people started coming in a filling thier buckets. Really, give me blood over barf anyday, just don't ask me to touch it or look at a laceration *shudder* and I'm good. Moved her to pediatrics around 11pm or so. So far pediatrics was my favorite floor and nurses, even if the room was kinda cramped and crappy.

Day 2 took off work expecting my mom to have gall bladder surgery. No surgery, turns out she has pancriatitis. (Can't spell it, to lazy to look it up for the dozenth time.) So she's not allowed to have food or water for a few days. The water part is really bugging her. The first night they gave her a couple hours where she could and she gorged herself and ended up tossing it all back. I knew it was coming. There's no way a person can suddenly drink that much ice water on a completely empty stomach and not react badly. By the end of the night she kept trying to sneak more water anyway and I finally had to be the one to put my foot down and take it away from her.

Day 3 Moved mom to the Progressive care floor because her breathing wasn't good enough and her blood pressure dropped. This time dad snitched off her water hiding and the nurse took it away. Not much else happened except watching the idiots on the day shift who forgot to re-hook up my mom's pain meds for hours and then knocked an iv bag off it's tube so it showered everywhere.

Day 4 Today she's moved up to the surgery floor. Now her room is about halway between where each of her parents had a room on the same floor at the same time just a few weeks ago. She's still dozing in and out, but when she's awake she seems alot more aware then she has the last couple days. In the mean time I'm just thankful the hospital has wireless now and this room has spare outlets as the wait continues (Even though the internet sucks and times out like crazy.) They're not even sure if she has gallstones after all now. So we have to wait for her pancreas to get better before finding out anything else.

Now it's just the little aggravations, like for some reason Limewire won't work. I'm not sure if it's my security settings or what, but it won't even search for things, it says it's connected, but it acts like its not. Using hot keys like ctrl + V is annoying because I'm used to the control key being in the bottomost left forner, but on the new laptop it's one to the right and the far corner is the Fn key instead so I keep hitting the wrong thing. Which will be buggy when I start using adobe on here... Which is the most aggravating thing of all. I can't find the damn disk for Adobe CS2. One of the main 2 things I use my laptop for and I can't even install it. And I can't for the life of me figure out where it went. It's now installed on every comp in the house except mine and I'm the person who uses it the most. T-T I need my disk *sobs*

EDIT: I downloaded a 30 day free trial of Adobe CS2. So at least I've got something to work with until I figure out what happened to my own installation disk.

Below is a work related rant/guide to not being a shopping pig when using a fitting room. Feel free to read it if your bored. Feel free to ignore it if your not. I just needed to vent......

Dusty's guide to the fitting room:

**Find out if there is a fitting room item limit. If there is then only get that many items at a time or get your own freaking cart to keep your extras in. Don't expect the monkey to safe guard 53 items while you try them on 2 at a time.
**When entering an unfamiliar fitting room take a freaking look around don't just go running in. Chances are if there's an employee standing there then it could very well be a fitting room monkey who may need to give you a number tag, room, count your items, ect.
**If there are signs --read them, that's what their there for. Chances are the limits, policies, ect are posted in plain sight. Not to mention which fitting room is mens and which is womens.
**Don't push your damn shopping carts into the fitting room. It's not a parking garage.
**Don't block off aisles or the entryway to the fitting room with your carts.
**Don't ask the fitting room monkey to watch your cart. She couldn't care less about your cart. She doesn't care how much you want the stuff in your cart. If your paranoid someone is going to randomly pluck merchendise from your cart then try on your clothes before you shop for other crap or bring someone to guard it for you. The monkey has other things to do (mainly cleaning up after shopping pigs) She's not gonna stand there staring at your cart.
**Don't cut around people. Or try forcing your items into the monkeys hands and face while their trying to count someone else's items. Chances are your not the only customer in existence.
**TAKE YOUR CHILDREN WITH YOU especially if they're small. The fitting room monkey is not a babysitter. If she doesn't know you and your family then how is she supposed to know whether the big guy that wandered up and walked off with the cart with your 1 year old in it is a pedo-file or your husband?!
**If the fitting room monkey has to count your items then relax the death grip. We're not trying to take them and run, we just need to see between them. *Rodent? What rodent? The one in my backyard. I went out to check on my cat the other night. Looked out the window... no cat. Squinted into the yard, what the heck is that?! A freaking racoon got into our backyard and was having a staredown with our cat who took shelter under a swing. I'm just glad the cat didn't try to confront it or anything. First time I've seen one in our yard and I've lived here for 22 years. I know neihbors fairly nearby have come across them on occaision though.

*Stupid Cottonwood trees. I hate them. Cottonwood season is the worst time of the year for me. Even my perscription isn't strong enough to battle them. I've already gotten a bunch of nosebleeds at work too, not exactly convienient. T-T I hate nose spray and eyedrops. And I just realized one of my inhalers is missing. Dangit! I just hope I can get a new one off my old perscription without having to go into the allergist. It'd take forever to get an appointment at this time of year.

*Our family bought a mini van. A 200 Chrysler Town and Country. After driving around in the spawnmobile for a year it feels like a freaking luxery car (which I assure you its not). But it's a pretty nice van and we got it at a pretty good price. We're finally a 2 car family again. I was just sad to see the station wagon finally hauled off since I've used it the last 2 years as a giant halloween decoration.

*Last night my cell phone died. I'm so sad. It's the only one I've ever had and I've had it for 4 maybe 5 years now. It was a rather sudden death too, it'd been working fine that very day then all of a sudden it started acting weird and now the top half of the botton don't work at all. I tried taking it apart but nothing helped. So now I've gotta shell out for a new one. And I'd just put another $25 worth of minutes on it too. T_T so sad *pets phone*

I finally put some new HP comics up if you hadn't noticed already and I've got plenty more half started and one nearly done. Problem is I lost my freaking mouse and I can't really color them without it. Unless I basically finger paint on my laptop. So I'll have to wait till payday then maybe go get a new one.

Had to lay off the fimo for awhile which is annoying because I've got a bunch of bead ideas. I've got some weird skin thing on my fingers and the side of my thumb actually split open a bit. I need to go to the dermatologist but I'll have to wait until I get a more regular work schedule going. It's mostly healed now but its something that comes and goes. So I figure by the weekend I might make a few things again, just not as fast as I had been.

Did a bunch of other crafts, working heavily with cardboard, hot glue, acrylic and spraypaints right now. Doing alot of beading to. I swear my thumb and forefinger were going to cramp up while I was making everyone bracelets for Christmas. I've developed a new hate for seed beads and renewed my love for fishing line (durable, thin, and clear, and true wonder of the modern age.) I've got photos, but it takes me forever to get 'em off my camera, sort through for the best ones, then prep them for posting. XP

Had to add names to my blocked list for the very first time ever. And not just one, but two in one day. A sad and dissappointing day. I've never ever had any issues with any other deviants before. Not before Halloween because some friends and I are setting up a sort of haunted house at my place this year. It should be pretty dang cool, I'll post pics of course if they turn out well. One friend even bought an especially creepy looking demon costume, I just hope it doesn't keep the little kids away, we may have to find a place to stick him where they can't see him till it's to late to turn back. >

We've already managed to scare a fair number of people with it by hiding in bushes and driving around downtown with the mask filling one window. ^___^

Also looking forward to seeing Nightmare before Christmas on the big screen in 3D. I was afraid it might not play locally, but we found a theater about an hour from here that's going to play it. YAY!

Edit: Hah! I got so happy thinking about Halloween I kinda forgot the whole reason I bothered to update in the first place ^_^0

I finally designed a new seal for myself. I've been hating the old one for along time now and actually stopped using it a couple months or so ago. This left alot of my work unmarked though, which makes me uneasy, not that I've ever had any problems that I'm aware of with people stealing my stuff, but still. So now I've got a new seal to use. A much simpler and less intrusive one thank goodness. Anyway along with using it on my work from now on I'm also going to be slowly stamping and re-loading some of my older pieces that were originally loaded without a mark. So if you see stuff coming through your watchlist that you think you've seen before your probably right. I'll try not to flood you guys at any rate 3 or so at a time with a few new ones possibly mixed in. I don't think they should show up at all since I'm just editing the image, but I'm not sure.

If anyone bothers to read the descriptions on my stuff you may have noticed me whining on at least 5 peices so far. So now I'm thinking of hi-jacking the monitor from the old computer, which is still fully functional if a bit outdated and trying to hook it up to my laptop. I'm sure it's possible, I'll just have to figure out what kind of cord I need and tweak around a bit. And clean up my desk so it's monitor safe (this is alot harder then it sounds, trust me.) But I think it should be agreeable since right now it's just sitting on the floor in the backroom awaiting what will most likely be an inevatable trip to the dusty dank garage where it'll just end up rotting. No one else wants it for anything other then a backup to our current monitor, which is a brand new flat panel.
Yeah, now I'm just plotting to myself...
Anyway. Although the color is screwed up I did manage to get a new lineart and a couple new digitally colored pics up, including a short comic strip. I know I've been posting mostly photography lately. I've got alot more of tat to post, but I really am attempting to mix in other stuff now that I've got a work station to myself again. Honest! ^_^0

Minor Edit: I did manage to figure out how to hook up and work the extra monitor to my laptop so my dad agreed I can move it into my room later. YAY! Now I just gotta clean off my desk and get used to switching resolutions back and forth since my laptop has a higher setting then the old 800x600 monitor. ^_^

But I'm back in the drawing mood so now it's just a matter of finding the time. I figure I'll be posting alot more fashion design stuff but I'll try to mix it in with my regular drawings and what not. Just because I have a ton of them and a few of them that I really like. I've got a bunch of new ideas for more HP comics, including 2 that have a Dumbledore on Viagra theme. And I'm starting to really get into my original comic, just having trouble with the charachter designs, for now I'm calling it Baka-con, but I want to change it to something else because I'm pretty sure there's a real baka con out there somewhere.

I also want to make a new image tag. You know that little thing I stick in the corner of my pictures with the copyright notice. I'm tired of the one that I've got right now. I don't know a ton about cameras but I know plenty of you do, so I thought this would be the perfect place to ask for some advice and suggestions on what to be looking for or what models are good and bad, ect. I'd really appreciate as much feedback as possible so I'll probably keep asking this for awhile.

Some of the things that I'm looking for in a camera so far:

Speed~I want something that will turn on fast enough to take spontanous shots

Durability~I want this thing to las me for years

Settings~I'd like 2b able to set it both manually (shutter speed, aperture, f-stop, ect.) and still have an auto setting

Price~Absolut max I might be able to blow about $700 American, but I'd preffer something in the $300-$500 range or less

lenses-It'd be nice if it came with at least one standard lens and then I could sepretly buy a couple of special lenses for it (like telescopic for sky shots or one for super close ups)

Power source~My current camera runs on re-chargable AA batteries, but I've heard Lithium are good and have a long lifespan

memory cards~I'd really preffer to keep using the memory cards that I have now, which are Lexar SD

Image Quality~Well, obviously I want something that will take really good quality pictures

Zoom~The stronger the better.

I bought just short of $30 USD of Fimo clay today. I've never really used Fimo before, just a tiny bit to make some beads, and that was along time ago. I've always wanted to get into it, one of my friends makes a ton of really cute stuff with it and I always wanted to try. But it's usually really expensive (About $3 for 2-3oz) Today though I just happened to wander into the craft store at the right time (I wanted a new bead loom, but they didn't have any) So I wandered down the paint aisle trying to remember if I needed any colors refilled and ended up at a Fimo sale. 99cents per package. YAY!!! I actually kinda want to go back and buy more and I havn't even opened any of the packages yet. But I'll show you all what I end up creating. I've got a few ideas for some stuff I'd like to make to sell at Kumoricon 2006.

anyway, I got a couple of questions for everyone out there, if you'd be so kind. I'd especially like an answer to the first one, if you could just reply to this journal, or even note me, I'll love you forever. I might not answer you back, but that's just for lack of time, I always read everyone... Anyway...

1. This coming summer (2006) I'll be going to Europe for 2 wks (1wk in England then France & 1wk in Italy). Before I go I want to buy a nice new digital camera. I don't know a ton about cameras but I know plenty of you do, so I thought this would be the perfect place to ask for some advice and suggestions on what to be looking for or what models are good and bad, ect. I'd really appreciate as much feedback as possible so I'll probably keep asking this for awhile.

Some of the things that I'm looking for in a camera so far:

Speed~I want something that will turn on fast enough to take spontanous shots

Durability~I want this thing to las me for years

Settings~I'd like 2b able to set it both manually (shutter speed, aperture, f-stop, ect.) and still have an auto setting

Price~Absolut max I might be able to blow about $700 American, but I'd preffer something in the $300-$500 range or less

lenses-It'd be nice if it came with at least one standard lens and then I could sepretly buy a couple of special lenses for it (like telescopic for sky shots or one for super close ups)

Power source~My current camera runs on re-chargable AA batteries, but I've heard Lithium are good and have a long lifespan

memory cards~I'd really preffer to keep using the memory cards that I have now, which are Lexar SD

Image Quality~Well, obviously I want something that will take really good quality pictures

Zoom~The stronger the better.

2. Does anyone know a FREE web server where I can upload pictures and then direct link them from another site without using up all my bandwith in one day. (My purpose is that I want to show art at the art arena at gaiaonline.com, but my current servedr{tripod} sucks, after a few views my bandwith's all gone and the stupid Tripod graphic comes up so that people can't see my stuff anymore)

3. This is a question for you folks who frequent Gaiaonline.com (Please don't hurt me, I'm a 3wk old newbie). I see all these people who make clothes and accessories for the avitars and then sell them in shops for Gaia gold. I can do pixel art easy enough, and I could probably figure out how to set up a shop, what I want to know is, How do you get that custom stuff onto your avitar. I'd like to make some so would I have to write some kind of script to make it work (outside of my ability) Is there another way? How dou you get it onto the avitar and how can it work on the avitars when there poses are changeable?

Anyway, school starts for me on the 26th of Sept. I'm not looking forward to it, I'm going to have a full load and huge gaps between my classes. (Vector Illustration, Italian, Writing, Intercultural Communications, Human Evolution, and American Religions) At least on Fridays I've only got one class, but I can't even enjoy a 3 day weekend because I work weekends. I'd rather be in school then at work, but oh well. Hopefully with winter coming things'll slow down.

Went on a whale watching trip for the first time. It was awesome. Didn't even get seasick, even though we were bobbing up and sown like crazy on the way out. The way in was smooth sailing (The bobbing's more fun, like being on an amusement park ride) but the wind and clouds were coming in so it was alot colder. Got to see a whale family that was playing right in front of the further of 2 lighthouses. They were either Grey whales or humpbacks, probably humpbacks, I think that's the most common around us.

Little sad I missed the Deviant Art meet and greet. But I still certainly met my share of people. If anyone went you might remember me as the giant P-chan! Which was mentioned at the closing ceremonies by Toshifumi Yoshida himself. (That was so awesome, he signed a dollar bill for me, I had no other paper on me at the time. ^_^ )

This years con seemed a bit lacking in activities to me for some reason, my sister said the same, still it was totally fun. There was enough going on that I missed a few events that Ill have to try harder to see next year, like the ramen challenge and the anime dating game. Anyway, well yup. I need to recover now, my back was killing me most of the time between the weight of my mask, the camera, the camera case that substituted for a purse, and the rest of the costume. Finally had a hot meal, now NEEEEED. SLEEP!

If your one of the loverly people who watch me (luv you guys ^_^) then you might've noticed a sudden surge in art. Well that's because it's all old stuff that I wanted to put up, so now it's up and things are going to slow down a bit. I've got around ten inked line-arts on my comp right now that are waiting to be colored for what I hope is your veiwing pleasure, but it takes me awhile to color them and life (and more picture ideas) tend to get in the way. But in the mean time I'm here shuffling around and joining new clubs (clubs are fun) I've been on a real fan-art kick lately thanks to them and I have no intention of quiting anytime too soon, not that I' won't be throwing originals in the mix.

Just finished reading the 6th book (Don't worry, I'm NOT a spoiler giver) But let me just say, and if you read the book yourself you'll understand....

Yup. I need book 7 NOW. Itching to do some HP fanart now, it's been ages, the stuff I've got up right now is all nearly a year old if not much older. But I'll wait awhile before I post anything, as I said I'm not a spoiler giver. In the mean time I guess I'll just pug out a couple more Disney FAs I've got in mind, and then theres a Fruits Basket (manga) picture I'd like to re-do and finish up. And at least one original floating around in my brain nagging to be done, though by the time I finish this list I'll probably have at least five more poking me with pitchforks. It always works that way. And I've still got a bunch of crafts to finish up before the state fair and Kumori-con.

which I havn't updated in forever and an account at elfwood (I have no idea what my gallery number is) that's starting to lag behind because they're approval systam just takes so long its become a hassle.
I'm a college student at Chemeketa. I have way to much to do that it's gotten to the point that I'm sick of doing it and so have been procrastinationg worse then ever. I also have a part time job at Avis (a rental car place) which I absolutely hate, but havn't quit because it gives me alot of flexibility with my schedule for school and I don't have to worry about being called at 3am to come work because it's only open till 6pm at the latest.
