You know this is kind of just a little rant mode...

As humans, we seek to relate and group together to overcome our hardships.
As humans, we desire to be individuals to conquer and survive.
As Humans, we want to always be Right because being wrong would me admitting fault.

These three things conflict with one another. For many, we focus more on just one of those three aspects. Because of this we have a tendency to fight with one another and always blame the others.

I will never say I'm right all the time. In fact, many times I'm wrong, I just may not know it but I try my damnedest to notice if I am. That doesn't mean I'm okay with it and embrace it, that means I'll try to avoid doing it in the future.

Many times people claim "Well that Clique is leaving me out." Are they?

To the Individual:
To you, who sits there alone and outside of the group possibly even hating them for it... Have you ever tried to approach them? Most people make stereotypes and impressions on the most shallow of things. Everyone does it, actually. Myself included. If you don't want to be left out, you need to make an effort to show you're interested. It could be they really aren't interested and you just need to try someone else. It could be they are interested but too busy with their own schtick to think about talking to you without you doing so first.

To the Group:
You don't like it when people complain you're "Cliquish" But are you? Are you separating from your usually group of friends for even five minutes to go out and meet someone New who may be too shy to approach you because you're always hanging out with four or more others?
You often complain that people should just come and interject in your conversation if they want to be friends.
Maybe you never faced it and will never understand it but, Those loners may be intimidated by the fact that you never ever separate from your group. After all, the best way to protect yourself from lone predators is in a group because it's intimidating.
Take a moment to say "Excuse me for a moment" and go meet someone you've never met before. You may find they're not interested and that's okay. You may find you made a new friend too. This is the only way to avoid this "Cliquish" Name calling.

Friendship is a two way street. Don't expect if you can't give in return.

Review of my Last Gasukan

As in the last one I plan to go to aside from the gijinka one only to keep my promise to R-P Productions.

People will probably wonder why too...
I had fun. I really did. :> It was great getting to hang out with people and eat Crepes although we had to leave early. Also good to meet a new friend, gain a buddy, and see Mon Chibi Italia again.

But why wouldn't I want to do that again?
Honestly, everything seems good and dandy while we're THERE. But you come back and start reading the thread and there's too many people bitching about other people.

In review:
September= the bitching was that no one showed up/ Everyone went to different locations and had their own little party
October = surprisingly enough I don't think there were any complaints other than it was cold.
November (I Didn't go) = Bitching that people didn't clean up after themselves and were too loud at The Hub
December = Bitching that not EVERYONE in GK participated in the White Elephant Game

Okay that last one? Is really REALLY Petty. Seriously? If you want people to participate that much, make it very well known through some means (like making a post on the first page about it? or handing out fliers? Or getting a bull horn?) That you want EVERYONE to participate, strapped for cash or not.

I'm glad people liked what they got in that group. It sounded like fun but I had my own fun and was fine with it.

This Now more than ever is convincing me to want to make a Tacoma Area Con like that but... It'd probably fail like the last time someone tried it. Still may be worth a shot. Tacoma's a nice place during the day.

That aside... Taking trips up to Seattle every Month is a big burden. :/ It'd be a lot easier for me to go to Puyallup to see the people I wanna hang out with than going so far up north to do so. I've only made two new friends up there really. Maybe Three who are all willing to cross the borders of different Anime to make pals. Everyone aside from them (including myself really) are all caught up with "Hetalia Only D:<" or "My Friends Only". October's GK was like that. There was a KH group but they were more interested in clinging to people they know then meeting new people and dragging them along.

Or maybe I'm just not Socially fit for these things. I'm not super outgoing, rather shy when meeting new people actually. :/ I just end up with creepy stalkers or loners who want to cling to someone which is good because I make their time special and they do the same for me.

What is it: "Manga and Exotic Worlds" Convention aka Anime & Sci-fi Convention
When is it: It's a New Year's Celebration con. As such... 12/31/09-01/02/10, Thursday-Friday-Saturday

So I'm thinking about going and I want to know who will go with me. You'll need Money for Registration, Time to go down there (I'm hoping to get the 31st off so we'll leave wednesday Night to get to a hotel there), Money for a hotel room that we will split the bill on (3 nights, 4 days), Money for food (Or be willing to pack some food to eat everyday. Ramen is a great choice here and so are Sammiches), and Fun money (for buying extras that you want).
You'll need to be willing to stand a 2-3 hour car ride down there. And hopefully stand us if we get lost. xD; I'm happy to drive and at most would need some compensation in gas but we can work it out.

So... I was talking about a few things with my mom yesterday and Gasukan came up. And you were ALL Expecting this but...

She started to complain about my wish to get together with certain people who don't live near by (within a Mile radius) just ONCE a month. Last month was an exception and unless it's a birthday, I don't plan doing it again where I'm constantly driving to their place every weekend to see them... But for god's sake, ONE FUCKING SATURDAY OUT OF A WHOLE MONTH I want to Drive up to Seattle and hang out with people I don't normally get to see and she HAS to complain that "Well why do you have to go every month? D:<" Uh.. because my rule was that I'd see these people ONCE A FUCKING MONTH?

It's not like I have any other friends I can actually see right now. Most of them are too busy/far away for me to even see once every few months. :/

And then she bitches at me for being on the Net the whole time. Gee I WONDER WHY? Maybe because I need SOME Social time? Yes It's a pathetic excuse for being Social, if I could I'd go to Michigan and Illinois where they are and hang out with them but UH THAT'S MORE UNREASONABLE THAN DRIVING TO PUYALLUP OR SEATTLE, MOM. >

So... I'm NOT doing commissions. Ever. Not unless I see some sort of change indicating people would buy them. I might offer to a few people have have expressed that they would WANT my art.

Just FYI, Not counting much of the "I would if I could" Only looking at the Yes and No. And at least 7 of my watchers wouldn't buy from me. xD I'm wondering why they're watching me...

That aside, I have bad news about November's Gasukan...

I'm not going. :/

So I was thinking the other day. I wanna raise money for certain things. Not for myself, more so for groups and maybe dA presents?

So why not offer commisions?

Hey guys! Maybe we could raise enough money to get a dA subscription for a year? And who knows, maybe other things too... Like a Website?
My idea was that we all try and do whatever our talent is for commissions. Like drawing or writing? It's just and idea really... And we could do them really cheap because the dA one year subscription is only $25. Though we'd need to either set up someone's account to receive it or something like that. Just an idea I'm throwing out there. If we really wanted to I could get an account set up as a savings account at my credit union, who knows? Just an idea to think on.

But other than that, if I were to offer commissions then I'd probably go and do a raffle to randomly donate a one month subscription in December. I think I'd do it for the people who commission me *nods* each person who ordered a commission, no matter how much they spent would get the benefit of being entered into the raffle or something like that. I'd figure out some way, really. xD

EDIT: Too bad my art sucks too much for anyone to WANT to buy my commissions if I did them, even for like.. a dollar. XD

Y'know today, or yesterday, was Birthday at the Acme Bowling in Tukwila. I ended up getting there around 11:45AM and STD showed up there 15 minutes before. Then Zyf showed up so all three of us went into the Bowling Alley to wait for them. Then Eiyoko showed up and we sat and played a game for a bit. Then Zyf was anxious to go play video games so we went to the arcade and I blew about $6 of my $26 there. Then bought a coke to get change back and the rest of the group showed up. After a bit more videogame playing we went across the street to the mall and I spent like.. $9 on food there. It was going pretty epic until Lunch hour ended.

That's where things got a lil hairy 'cause some people wanted to run to gamestop others wanted to run to Fuego and No one wanted to tell anyone else about what was going on. Which... left a few of us stranded between. Well We decide: "Hey let's go meet up with the people in Fuego and hopefully the people in Gamestop know." And so we do. Then we start arguing over going to the Bowling alley or wandering the mall. All the -guys- and one of the girls were deciding and Not giving anyone a choice in the matter. Which... pisses me off. But I'm more worried about the people in Gamestop not knowing so finally Miyu and I turn around and go to f...

So as anyone who paid attention to my journals would know~
I went to Gasukan 21(wouldn't it be 24 since it was the two year anneversary of Gasukan???) on October 24th, 2009 at Gas works Park.

It was the bomb.
Even better was that just before I'd been included into ~RAPE-Productions R.A.P.E. Productions. It's a South of Seattle based Cosplay group. 8D As such we made a picnic (kinda) of Gasukan since it's the once a month we all get together. xD

OKAY So... how is everyone going to be getting there? And what other plans?

I'll be dressing up as Marluxia.. might get a stand-in bone scythe and do some blood and gore and crazy eyes... we'll see. Yes I don't have my scythe done yet. I'm lazy.

I know Mell Mell doesn't have a ride there. Might it be easier if everyone went in one car? If that's the case I can probably borrow mom's van and drive but like last time a few bucks for gas will be the requirement.

ALSO I'm planning to make some goodies. There's picnic areas there so maybe we should try and each make or buy something and bring it for a picnic? Even if it's just sandwiches or something. I may try to bring a canopy tent for cover xD;

I liked it.

I know a lot of people are bitching about Xion and what not but.. what's their arguement?
->They say she's a Mary Sue...
--> Well consider this: Sora, Kairi, Riku, and all of Organization 13 are all Mary sues and Gary Stus. They're all Fan-made characters injecting themselves into the plotlines of Traditional Disney movies and the like. EVEN MORE So the Organization because they were suddenly dreamed up in the Second game (Which is officially Chain of Memories not 2). So before you call Xion a Mary Sue consider that all the characters not from games before are the same. :/

--> Actually... she was probably the lightest and cutest character in the game. This is a game about NOBODIES who don't have hearts. And they're all trying to be the king. Meanwhile Roxas and Xion are just doing as they do and becoming friends like they're real people. The ONLY time Xion starts becoming "emo" is when she encounters Riku and founds out what she is. By the end of the game though? She's scary.

A day filled with all emotions.. for someone who should NOT have had emotions xD
Oh well.

So the Night before I spent about 2-3 hours working on my Wig (Trying out Glue and Hairspray to style it.. I think the Hair Spray worked best to give it the flippy effect) and testing Makeup techniques.

On Saturday I woke up at 9AM, testing the pink tie against the pink shirt, no good. Tested against the black shirt, perfect. Then did my make up, put on my Wig, then had to fix my Nobody Symbol Pin to use as my School Emblem on my shirt. I tried to make a flower pin too but that was too much and the flower didn't work. After That I spent time DL'ing songs and writing CDS But I only had One So I threw Offspring and a few others on it.

Cody came and picked me up and the morning went smoothly. We had traffic and had some lost points (my GPS was having Lag) But we managed to make it there by Noon to Pratt Park. And only... what was it? 5 people were there? XD A Sexy No jutsu Sasuke and A Queen Serenity (Who was Goregous by the by 8D) and Some Anime By standers. Eventually Momo came along (around 12:30?) and other cosplayers. I found fellow FF9 and Kefka fan. The others were running really late and didn't get there until 2PM. >.o So If You read my last journal, You'd KNOW That was earliest time we were supposed to leave for the Fair.

The original plan was we'd get to Gasukan At noon, leave around...

So News with me...

First Off I have a new job. Started 2 weeks ago and been in training up until Friday. I hope I don't screw up. xD I work at a Credit Union in Ruston and I ADORE the Drive up there. I get to drive along the water front. I wanna do some cosplay photos up there some day. It sort of reminds me of an area that Nature took back with some of the random Construction and concrete pieces overtaken with Green and nature. <33333 The job itself is AWESOME. Lots of wonderful Members, mostly older people but they're all sweethearts.

Second: I'm hoping to Attend Gasukan. I think Miyu said is was at Pratt park? where DO I find out this info? XD I haven't been able to. orz

But also We wanna go to Puyallup Fair with Miyu, Phail, Duck, Momo, And the lot. Just gotta Find out WHEN.

Uhm I guess Third is a change in Cosplay for Sakuracon 2010.
I'm going as Princess Peach, either from Brawl or Melee. Really depends on how Unlazy I can be and what Decides. Gonna try and Match up with him. Either Way He's driving this year XD Unless his car breaks down. 'Cause I'm NOT Attempting to Drive in a Big Poofy and Flowy Dress... Who knows I might be able to design the Skirt to be Detachable depending on how Bothersome it is and Wheth...

Am I reading this right?

They're eliminating Backwards Compatibility FOR GOOD? As in.. Not only won't the new PS3s have it but any PS4s or w/e following won't?? DX

So.. why does that bug me? Well... here's the story:

Originally My family owned a Nintendo, the original NES. When Super Nintendo came out I wanted it. And I got it by the time N64 came out. And so I played with that but I really wanted a N64. And I got it. At that time my mom was pissed and honestly? I wasn't any happier having to buy 3 different systems to play the games I wanted. So I made the decision to change over to PS2 because of one feature that drew me in the most: Backwards Compatibility.

It's bad enough EVERYONE got Wallet shock when the PS3 came out at what was it? $799?
And now they're eliminating the only reason I went to Playstation. Meanwhile nintendo 1ups them by making the Wii Backwards Compatible( in the sense that games for NES-N64 can be bought for low cost on their Network).

They expect Meteor showers on the night of the 12th. You'll be able to catch them between 11PM-5AM weather permitting on Tues-Wed night and Wed-Thurs night. You'll still be able to see some on other nights BUT It peaks on the 12th of August. You may not see as many as you'd like since it's Half Moon right now and the moonlight will outshine lighter streaks.

My dad went the the hospital tonight. Since Saturday Morning he hasn't been feeling well. Finally we decided he needed to go to get it checked so Mom took him to the hospital Sunday night. Right now at 2:30AM I haven't gotten too much word from them since around 11:30PM when he was admitted into the back rooms.

I hope he's alright...

So it turns out he had appendisitis. And his Appendix burst while they were there but the Surgeon cleaned up real good and there wasn't any pus. He should be coming home within the next few days.

All Four dead in one week.

Farrah we knew was coming, she had cancer. She didn't take the only route that might save her.

Michael was unpredicted but now knowing his addiction to prescription drugs, we saw it too.

Billy Mays? No one saw that coming. On Saturday Night he had a rough landing on a plane, getting hit in the back of the head. But Mr. rough n tough said he was fine and went to sleep. They found him unresponsive Sunday Morning, firemen pronounced him dead at 7:45AM

Let's learn something:
Any time you're hit HARD in the back of the head it's advised that even if you don't go to the hospital and "feel fine" Not to sleep for the next 24 hours with heavy supervision. Why? Should you have a concussion, you need to be rushed to the hospital. Otherwise you fall asleep, with no monitoring, and the blood will drown your brain.

As for Ed McMahon... I don't realy know who he is nor do I know how he died, really but.. he was older than the others

For those of you who haven't watched the news: Both Farrah and Michael died today.

Farrah Fawcett knew, and so did we, that her days were becoming her final. for the past few years she has been battling Anal Cancer. She turned down the offer to have her colon removed, forcing her to expel into a bag rather than normal. Since then she's been seeking worldly Medical help to cure herself. Recently giving up, she was in such a bad state they allowed her to come home and live her final days here. Even then she was in an almost comatose state. Last night she was admitted to the hospital. June 25, 2009 at 9:28AM she passed away. She was to be married "as Soon as she could say Yes".

Michael Jackson, age 50, king of Pop, and interesting human being. The mind of a child due to his family life growing up. Married and with children, he was living a life in which he battled lawyers and society because he was a deviant of society. Now by deviant I don't mean he killed, robbed, maimed, and stole. I mean he did things that were not the norm. Due to financial instability he planned to go out on a large tour soon. His first tour date July 13, 2009. On June 25, 2009 Paramedics received an emergency Phone call and reported to MJ's LA home. He was not breathing when they arrived at 12:30PM and was rushed off to the hospital, Medics performing CPR and the like in the Ambulance to the hospital. At 3:15PM, Michael Jackson was pronounced dead.

My condolences go out to the families and friends of these two idols from the 70s and 80s. Now is not the time to be making jokes about the shit that happened nor lewd comments. Now is the time to support those left behind. These two are finally where they should be, no longer troubled by the worries and suffering they've had through their lives.

Rest in Peace.

No I'm not Dissing any "Vic-Sama" (He's not a fucking god, get over it. He's a nice guy, but he's not a GOD so don't call him 'SAMA' You stupid Japanese wannabe twats. >:I )

I just think it's CHEAP that they ONLY reason they want to hire People like VIC MIGNOGNA or any other POPULAR VOICE ACTOR is because they KNOW otherwise the item would be a flop. It's a marketing tactic. It's not because the actor does a good job at it or anything.

I'm NOT convinced Vic Mignogna Can pull of girly-gay-man voice. He couldn't even pull of TAMAKI(ouran high School Host Club)'s Voice! He's better suited for roles of younger teen-like voices or voices of males in their twenties.

Needless to say: I'll be surprised if he can pull it off. If he can, kudos, he gains a skill. If he can't, We'll know S-E was looking for a Cash-cow to make their (what they consider) failure popular.

This is just like when they picked voices for Chain of Memories. Everyone's worked except one: Marluxia.

Why?
Chances are, with someone like Vic, he didn't go out for the position, S-E came to him. He just said yes because it's something new to try and something fun. He enjoys his work and props to him. He's also crazy as hell.

You know another villain in this game that Vic would be better as? Kefka. I whole heartedly and sincerely believe that Vic's skills would be able to lend him to being absolutely fucking NUTS. Just.. completely BATSHIT CRAZY. And Cynical in a funny way.

Needless to say my week has ended badly.

Let's start with Monday, most of it I spend with her, helping her shop for shit, then we have a bbq at her request, then I went out and wasted $13 on movies for the family, Tuesday, again most was spent with her doing stuff in the backyard, Wednesday was prolly the only day we weren't doing shit like that 'cause we were tired from the hard fucking labor of the previous two days. As such, the shopping i wanted to do wednesday, we didn't do it. Thursday we end up having to go out shopping for everything, including her birthday gifts because it was her birthday and my dad works and doesn't think to do ANYTHING ahead of time. So she ends up paying for her own gift from him while I paided for my gift to her. I couldn't do that night's dinner because I didn't know how to cook spaghetti and meat sauce But I spent the whole night baking a gawd damned fucking ice cream cake FOR HER that, by the way, she hasn't even partaken in. Friday I get to spend with MY friend, Saturday she drags me out to the yard and I told her "Fine but then you leave me be for Sunday. because I've been helping you all week." And of course she objects that I haven't been. Then today she goes against and still tells me to vaccuum downstairs, which I did without complaint and when I get upstairs what does she say? "Oh by the way, Thanks for the horrible Birthday. In 49 years, this has been the worst." So I jsut walked away.

If I could fucking control my dad, I WOULDN'T HATE HIM, NOW WOULD I?! I'm only one FUCKING person with pretty much NO funds because NO ONE BESIDES HELLMART IS HIRING SOMEONE GOING TO COLLEGE. I CAN'T FUCKING DO EVERYTHING. And Of course she'll just argue that too. Maybe I don't want to be a fucking slave like her. Maybe I want to ENJOY my life before I die at age 22 or whenever the hell this mother fucking stupid race gets killed because we're all fucking selfish MORONS.

Those three movies are what I have seen in the last three days.

Taken
This movie was AWESOME. Both times that I saw it It has an appeal to the motherly side of women with the plot being about a father who goes to save his kidnapped daughter. And it has an appeal to men with all the action, thrill, and car chases. Plus killing. Lost of killing. I think the scariest thing ABOUT this movie is how it's all TRUE. The events spurring the movie are real things that happen everyday. just not everyone has a cool super-secret assassin spy parent like this girl.

Bed Time Stories
A typical Adam Sandler movie with a Disney twist. You bust up laughing every 5 minutes because of some stupid or silly thing this man does or has done to him and you have that "D: Awwwe" Moment. Definitely a good movie and a favorite of mine under Taken.

Dead Like Me: Life After Death
Maybe I was disappointed because I thought it was a DVD of the Series... Maybe I was disappointed because this movie SUCKED BALLS. Why? Lots of reasons. One is that they tried to essentially take one episode of the show and drag it out to fill a movie. Two, you really wouldn't understand the movie without at least watching the first six episodes of the show. Three, The show is FUNNY, not just wah-wah boo-hoo. This movie BARELY had funny in it. Most of it is about George and Reggy and this guy who George is supposed to Reap but can't because he's hanging on to see Reggy who he loves. The show was about George and her life too but at least the parts with Daisy and Mason and the other reapers would be a comedy relief of some sort. Not-so in this movie.

So Thursday I went and saw Star Trek in IMAX in Southcenter. The NEW IMAX mind you. Friday Night I saw the REGULAR Star Trek on a regular movie screen.

Wanna know the difference? Approximately 2% sound quality difference. I could still see every pore and detail of skin and color on the regular screen as in IMAX as I did on the regular screen. With IMAX sound system I heard a little bit more. So that was a little more encompassing.

Was it worth paying $2-5 more for IMAX? Let's put it in Math terms, shall we?
IMAX Difference: 2%
AMC's cost for IMAX: $12
AMC's Cost for Regular @ Kent Station: $10
Century theater's cost for regular: $7.50-8.00

AMC VS AMC: 12-10 = 2, 2 of 10 is 20%. The difference of IMAX quality being 2%, you pay 20% more for IMAX
AMC IMAX VS CENTURY: 12-8= 4, 4 of 8 is 50%. You pay 50% more for IMAX change of 2%

Well math says, you're overpaying. It may just be $2-4 but that's 20-50% more.

This is a stupid change. If you're logical, you won't waste the extra 20-50% of your money going to see it in IMAX and save that money for the hard times. If you think it's worth it? Well, go waste your money then.

On the other hand, Star Trek 09 was AWESOME.

Yo! So, I gave in to Myspace to find Taylor B. Bastard's in Albama. >:I Oh well, ya?

But something good has come of it: Sky Harbor.
This local band hails from Covington, 10 miles away. You can hear the Paramore and Jimmy Eats World Influence but you have to love their sound if you're a fan of the previous mentioned. Yes, that's right. Sound. Not Noise.
