It is one of the most beautiful places that anyone will ever see in their lives! In fact, I already miss it. Still, it's great to be back home.

What did I do there? Well..

We stayed in this awesome 5-star hotel called Asturias (pictures will be posted soon). The moment I stepped in, I was just . The lobby is squeaky clean, they have 2 all-you-can-eat buffets , a pingpong table, a billiards table, an Internet cafè, and even a swimming pool with a jacuzzi and a water fountain that shoots water 10 feet high! Our room was incredibly magnificent! It was quiet, spacious, had a television, lamps, couches, queen beds, and much more! If anyone is willing to visit Palawan, then I suggest you stay in this hotel!
We went to this private island wherein you can camp, swim, build sandcastles, and even go snorkling in a 30-foot depth! After I ate lunch there and went to take a peek at the ocean, I was shocked. There were absolutely no waves! No exaggeration No waves at all. At first, I thought it was frozen, but when I came and touched it, it was as liquid as normal seawater! Also, even if you're 500 meters away from the shore, the water is only up to your knee. Neato!
We visited this nice Vietnamese village with only 6 Vietnamese but hundreds of Filipinos in it! It was great.
I saw plenty of famous (Filipino ) celebrities there such as Parokya ni Edgar, Tuesday Vargas, Luis Manzano, et cetera.
I saw many spectacular views there (pictures to be posted soon)! When we got there, I was like . I could just stare at them all day!
I pigged out on different sorts of Italian, English, French, and other foods from all over Palawan. You should have tasted the pasta there, it was so good!

http://thespanishsadist.deviantart.com/journal/8299762/ Sat, 01 Apr 2006 22:28:25 PST We have detached ourselves from the books, the extreme memory work, the immense pressure our parents induces onto us, the difficult standards we, Lasallians have to keep up with for an entire 10 months, and the stress brought to us by studying in excess. Or in other words, no more school! And best of all, we no longer have to wake-up early in the morning! Now, it is the time to relax, miss-out on the entire afternoon sleeping , enjoy 10 pain-staking hours of playing video games and television-watching , play music so loud that the neighbors will complain , spend the whole week swimming and sunbathing in the beach , travel to exotic places, engage in sports and other summer programs, endlessly talk on the phone without being told to stop because of schoolwork , and any other activities that you wish to do that your parents forbid you to do during what I call the School Season.

As strange as it may seem, I'm not quite in the mood to enjoy summer vacation more than I used to. There's a feeling in my gut that tells me that I should not take this whole summer vacation tactic so seriously . Never have I felt so empty in my life. Maybe these are the factors responsible for my sudden gloom:

THE BAD NEWS

1) There's a 50:50 (and not 100% sure as previously thought) possibility that I will migrate from the Philippines to the United States . Yes, I know, it seems rather unusual for me to become discontended with my current situation since I have earned a reputation for hating Filipinos. But lately, I haven't been staying true to that reputation, and I seriously don't care anymore. I honestly and wholeheartedly admit that Filipinos have been worth my lifetime's stay here . My only problem with them is their lack of manners and poor etiquette. The ones who reside in the Friendship route (otherwise known as T.S. Cruz) trigger a very sensitive explosive inside me . They leave completely kernel-free corn cobs on the street or sometimes go to the extent of tossing them at passing vehicles, and instead of apologizing, give the riders a dirty look. Fortunately, I'm with the good Filipinos that shake-off my discontent and comfort me in times of sadness. And so, I thank those people.

Also, this is the place where I had all my "firsts" in -- first step, first word, first bath, first friend (En, who happens to be Japanese ), first every-word-you-can-find-in-the-dictionary. It disheartens me to simply ignore and leave behind all these memories.
