Blame it on my camera, who decided to stop working suddenly. I have been picture-less for months and half-dead because of it. Birthday's up in a bit, though, so hopefully I'll get something that won't die so soon. :]

Meanwhile, I'm still checking up on this and replying comments or ThankYouForTheFave-ing deviants. Stay tuned; if I'm really desperate, I might steal someone's camera and use that instead.

Picture this:

Me, at the computer, singing along to Cute Is What We Aim For's Risque, when I suddenly remember I've left the windows in my room open (I was burning inscence this afternoon). So I run to my room and draw the curtains and find that it's a nice, cool night. And then I realise that the streetlamp right outside casts really nice shadows on the tree below it. So what do I do? I take out my camera, of course.

And so I'm snapping away when a flash goes off. And I think, "Oh, that's weird. I thought I turned the flash off." And I check -- I DID turn the flash off. So I mumble something about needing a new camera and continuing.

It's not until I upload all the photos that I realise I took the picture RIGHT when the lightning struck. If you ask me, that's pretty awesome. I'm not one to experience luck or coincidence often. :)
