Update April 20th
So this is what we're going to do people. Just so that there is no more waiting for this thing to start off. We're going to hold this thing a little differently, well at least in the fighters area.
Since it seems that the auditions are coming a bit too slow for our deadlines. We're eliminating the damn things all together. Now read this really carefully because this is how it's going down. Now Auditions are always open, but as a normal tourney would have there is still a cap on the number of fighters, that has been made 32.

The fighters we have now are going to kick off the battles within "The Lair", but we're making the time of the auditions count. you have to fight a penalty Duel against one of us!!! So lets say you audition after the first combatents here on the page. Well you'll just be noted as a fighter who appeared late. Also you'll have to battle one of our members. To make things fair on those who got their auditions in on time. So yeah you'll be hurt, and thats the handicap for the people who made it on time.

We of the white wolf society respect those who are punctual. Also killing this thing is a big no no. For us and the fighters that are already here. So were keeping it fair to them to hold it like this. The more rounds that pass that your not in the fighters list. The more sever your injuries will be when you enter the fray with the others.
By April 21st the matches will be posted so those who are in rest easy. You guys are loved by the WWS.
So I hope to see more auditions from our late comers.

The Tournament: What is it?

The White Wolf Tournament is a classic, elimination style, Original Character Battle Contest. Participants and their OC's wil be pitted in series of battles against other artists and thei creations until only one remains. Participants will battle using the medium of sequential art (comics) or animation. We regret that in this tournament written entries are not permitted.

Why should you enter? Because it's FUN!

Tournaments like this challenge your creativity and story telling ability. They let you see your OC being drawn by other amazing artists and you can make new friends and forge new adventures. And let's not forget our fantastic prizes!

The Lair is a sprawling maze of ruins, open areas, dark dungeons, palatial buildings and towering spires. It's easy to get a lost, some have spent days wandering in the darkest reaches of the lair before seeing sunlight again. Some have never come back at all...

The Lair has many locations where you can set your battles during the tournament. As the tournament progresses some will become off limits whilst new ones become available including the Wolftower, where the wolf King must be crowned...

Here are some of the stages that will be available...

The Lair is a labyrynth of hallways and passages. Some are not entirely what they seem...

The Slaughter House

A huge, dark, foggy slaughterhouse with a maze of waist high wooden tables. This wouldn't be a maze, but the tables themselves are stacked high withÂimplements andÂbits. Many of them are also stacked high with masonry. Occasionally, there is an empty table you can hop over.
Lots of things to cut with. Lots to eat, a fight could continue a long time, if you knew how to hide properly. But nobody can hide from Gregori if he wants to find them.
It is clear that this room use to be a lot smaller, but the walls were excavated out, tirelessly, by a team of one.

The room is horribly oblong and has more corners than a room should: say, about eighteen. Each corner is stocked with mining equipment, oil lamps, and crude explosives.

Hooks on chains hang from the ceiling at varying lengths. Some extend to the ground and you can climb these and swing to others nearer the ceiling.

The Junk Tower

Suyiba is just an Associate, but she is terribly curious about the Lair and would often roam about the place. Occasionally she would find certain artifacts; rusted swords, cracked vases with elaborate designs, shields and practically any item that has aged for decades. However, most of the things she found were either useless or cumbersome. She does find things of good use, like a good katana or a strong shield, but that is usually rare.

Sigul realized that she might find items of good use. He allowed her to use an old, abandoned building to house all the things she would find.

However, Suyiba is quite the junk collector. As a result, she would bring in anything she finds and place them in that abandoned building. It has gotten to the point where the members of the White Wolf called it the Junk Tower.

She seems to see the good in even the most ugliest items. At one point she found a broken vase and insisted that it was a Ming vase. She filled the Junk Tower with things that are broken or possibly useless. Some of the Guard commented that most of the things she found were only good for target practice or as projectiles.

Nevertheless, youÂll never know if you could find a priceless artifact or a useful weapon amongst the mountain of junk there

The Ice Caverns

Beneath The Lair, underground streams keep the deepest passages below freezing point all year round. Over the years the snows of hundreds of winters have gathered down here where they will never melt. As a result the Ice caverns have formed, Where Icicles have formed stalactites dozens of feet tall and other Ice forms have twisted themselves into strange and unusual shapes. The caverns are constantly lit by a ethereal blue light that seems to emenate form the ice itself. Whilst beautiful the Caverns harbour a hidden danger. The stalactites are unstable and any loud noise could cause a shower of razor sharp ice to fall at any moment, skewering whoever is unfortunate to be beneath them.

HI and welcome to the home of the White Wolf Society

The White Wolf Society is a team formed for the express purpose of competing in RoninsUltramix's amazing Samurai Dueling League!!! The White Wolf society is a way of making new friends, finding other talented artists to collaborate with, maybe even to gang up on one of the Elite Rank Duelers!

So who are we?

On the surface The White Wolf Society is a dedicated to the smooth transition of cultural and social influence from the different parts of the world. The aquisition and sale of rare goods and artefacts, political influence, information and of course, their swords are for hire as well! If your pockets are deep enough that is...

But buried beneath their mysterious dealings lies a hidden purpose. The White Wolf Society protects secrets that could change the course of history if revealed. Their enemies claim that the White Wolf Society is merely after power. Whether this is true or not is yet to be revealed...

The White Wolf society is led by the "Lone Wolf", who alone controls the Society. Behind him are the "Guards". Each a formidable warrior, they lead the 'Wolves' the footsoldiers of the Society, ten to each Gaurd. 67 in total, other associates are known as Pups

How To Join

If you've been invited you don't need to worry but if you'd like to join then send us note. You may be asked to draw a small comic showing you character being invited by one of the Guards or the Lone Wolf himself. Simple as that! It would be best if your OC was a member of the SDL but if you can adapt him/her to a similar style/period that would be fine as well! But the SDL kicks ass so why aren't you a member already?
