Unfortunatly in the middle of the set Noel stood on Charlie (bubblegum monser)... he was very pissed off. Noel Fielding also announced that The Mighty Boosh are going on tour very soon, so keep a look out for that.
Stellatarr* say they are coming to London soon which is Ace because i havnt heard anything from them in ages, i know that the new album, Harmonies for The Haunted sounds great though.
I saw Kimya Dawson of The Moldy Peaches on sunday morning at 9 oclock in a cafe in Elephant and Castle, it was a great show, there was about 40 people and we all sat on the floor whislt Kimya did an acoustic show. it was abit to early in the morning for me but all very fun.
Unfortunatly their website is very small and kinda useless, this is because they are a new band and just starting up. but nevertheless they are amazing. i would compare them to Interpol and Stellastarr*. They are playing the W.H.O.R.E festival this saterday along with bands like KaitO and Vincent Vincent And The Villians who are great up and coming bands. So if anyone has the chance to check out The Madelines, i suggest you do so.
and seeing carl without pete is wrong and seeing pete without carl is wrong.. they go together like Richey and Nicky or Owen and Stuart...
i have been going through the hardest time recently, but The Libertines playing Whos Got The Crack? by the Moldy Peaches always seems to cheer ya up. they just laugh all the way through it... and then it reminds you of the times when carl n pete used to always laugh together... and your right back to feeling like crap.
Also last nite everyone got one of those 'god save the manics' EP which James has written a song on.
nicky has a good taste in music because he got to chooose what songs were played before they came on and the playlist included Rilo Kiley, Interpol, Supergrass, The clash and others...
james said they will be touring again in about 2 years because they're taking a break! how can we live that long without the manics!

another great band i have seen recently is interpol apart from the support band were terrible. And also the others...

i saw The Others play in the subway, it was an amazing gig and totaly free aswell, thats a great thing about the others, such nice guys aswell.

yesterday i saw the Raveonettes who are an amazing band, i first got into them a few years ago and fell in love. This is my 4th time seeing them and you can see a change in the music, still very good though. Sharin has moved from bass to guitar and you can see she is getting used to it but she did a great job.

Now Bright Eyes on monday... just fantastic, may have been the best i've seen him yet, i am not sure though. Apparently Morrissey was somewhere in the audience. i saw Kelly Osborne there... what can i say about that, nothing really. The last song 'I'm wide awake it's morning' was truely great, it was just good to see all the musicians onstage just doing what the fuck they wanted.
speaking of which, the manics have just released a new April Tour which i can not wait for.
i had to make the choice of seeing either Babyshamles or The Good Life with support from Colour Of Fire, i went for the good life but its playing on my mind, i couldnt see both because it is on the same night... although... if i make a time machine by the end of febuary...
i think i am going to join a canal gang, and live on a boat, i'll think more about that.
well that was all just to pass the time.

today the two Bright Eyes albums 'I'm wide awake its morning' and 'digital ash in a digital urn' (which i am very fimiliar with thanks to promo copies) came out. and they are BRILLIANT. Every single song on both albums has its own greatness, the thing is its great to see him getting famous and bigger, but i always loved it when he was hardly known over here. i find that fame ruins alot of bands. i doubt it will ruin him though. he is just to great.
Also we can't forget Adam Greens 'Gemstones' coming out. Its also a great album, i was lucky because my sister got me a promotional copy for christmas.
i am looking forward to seeing both bands live and will hopefully get some great pics.
