First, who you are, how long you've been a member, and how many times you've submitted doesn't matter to us. We're not taking that into consideration when deciding whether or not to accept a submission into our gallery. I can assure you my contests are not biased in any way since I host contests for the simple fun of putting one together. Plus, I'm never choosing the winners on my own, there's always a panel of judges who vote on the entries as well. I think it's important that we leave some kind of message on declined submissions. Declining a submission without saying anything can be confusing, discouraging, and maybe even rude. During the early stages of this group, I used to decline quietly, but I found that what we're doing now is much more efficient.

There are two main reasons why the decline message is a copy-and-paste message. The first being that not everyone wants to know why their submission was declined, for whatever reason that may be. Alright, well, maybe it's not that funny. Back when I needed admins for only the literature submissions, I changed the name of the "Admins" group to "Literature Admins". Now that I've invited in new admins for all the submissions, I want to change the name back. But I realized that because we're no longer a supergroup, I can't. So, just to clear up any confusion, our "literature admins" are really just our "admins". :giggle:

With over 2500 members, this group is somewhat large and with 2500 members, we can receive quite a few submissions in one day. But, because I don't want this group to flood any of our watchers' inboxes, each member is only allowed to submit a limited amount of submissions so that we get a limited amount of submissions per day.

We've already introduced this month's contest with the theme revolving around an emotion. I'm glad to say that our members seem to be enjoying this theme.
