doing more and more of those portraits. i always was into b/w drawing and painting, but i think i should soon start and ad some colour. i think the best time to do this would be when i will draw this one:

i asked twig which one she would like to have as a drawing and she picked out this. to me this is a real challenge, im still kind of noobish with my wacom and the hair i draw still looks like sum cat pellet or how its called. you know, when those kitties puke their hair out. i think you get the idea...

there will also be drawings of ~Kepakko, =Countess-Grotesque and the fabulous =HilaryKeller. i hope i can fulfill my own expectations this time, because its starting to become frustrating. i need a bottle of talent maybe. lets see if Lidl gots some...

I just posted a portrait of Layne Staley. Im still trying to find out how this Wacom-thingy works. Its really hard to paint realistic hair. Maybe i should try some crazy stuff again and not make realistic portraits. I kinda miss squeezing the hell out of my brain. I really think i need someone to show me how to work proper with this Tablet...

pneumonia sucks

i was sick now over a week and got to check over 800 messages -.- this pneumonia really gave me the rest, i was in bed all the day and i couldnt do anything. it was like the walls were coming closer every day, thank god i can go to work again, (who thought i ever would say something like this...) and go out in general.

i am working on a few things lately, one is an illustration of a werewolf that makes me kinda frustrated. if anybody has some technique for a good skin texture then please tell me! drawing/painting this is really exhausting, but also like a drug.

parallely im on a carricature of jim carrey and an illustration of jaimie alexander from "kyle xy". the jaimie-thingy can be viewed on MySpace as a WIP. i want to use this account more often, because it seems to become a good thing additional to deviantart to share stuff with people or just be in touch with your fav bands and so on.

Introducing dAgnostic

today a lot of well-known artists here in dA confirmed their assistance in the brand new project called ~dAgnostic.

first of all i want to thank every single one of them for this and i promise i will try to keep away the most work from you since i can guess youre all very busy. for those who arenÂ´t or even are but want to help as much as they can, feel free to do so, youre very welcome! right now the team consists of [link] Others already have been asked to join us, and for those who i havent asked yet: please note me if youre willing to help out.

a little explanation: this team will check out artists on dA that everybody should have checked out. we all know the problem that occurs when a site like this becomes so popular. you just dont have an overview anymore, and because of the mentality "im faving yours youre faving mine" the faves-page is a kind of messed. ~dAgnostic was created to work a bit against this problem. depending how many people will participate and how popular it will become, the mentioned problems will hopefully decrease. im sure there are many more clubs like this one, but im also sure that deviantart is too big to let this be a problem.

til now it seems that we will feature at least once a month, at least three artists of some categories that havent been set yet. i will inform you about this when i finally know the eventual members of the team.
everybody whos in is free to write a short text about the artist they want to feature, so our news and journals will never be boring, i can promise that.

you are always welcome to tell us about people you would like to be featured or if it is even yourself. just note the club about this, and you will soon get a reply.
