I just want to let you guys know I'm working on several pieces - one of them is even a digital realistic painted one. It'll take awhile for that one but it's going well so far. I'm worried about screwing up her face D':

Just a little update on the Thornster.

It is /so/ fun using Prismacolor pencils when you have more than twelve different colors!! I LUFF IT! ABSOLUMENT ~

And my manga guys are not sucking, they're going okay, I guess. I just drew one and I'm done the skin and the eyes and it's tolerable! When I use my friend's scanner I'll scan it in too.

Among the manga style (nice inking) I'll be trying a bunch of other styles - watercolor, pencils... 'Member when I said we went to Micheal's? Well, we got some watercolor paper so it'll be okay.

Yeah. I'm sorry for not being on in a while... I'm starting another, yes, another project. (I can't hold on to one for long because I'm an Aries... I tend to skip from one great idea to another... and I HATE IT. I'm not doing it on purpose, it's how I am. ANYWAYS~~)

This project is going to take awhile, and this is one I want to hold on to.

I'm writing a new (yes, another) manga. It's basically my real life with my real friends, just mangafied. That make sense? I hope so.

I can actually work with some quality things for this! Yesterday we went to Micheal's ( an expensive art store ) and got a bunch of useful things. Like prismacolor inking pens (sizes 005, 01, 03, 05, and 08) so I don't have to worry about lines that are too thick or whatever.

But... there's a catch. I have a scanner, but it stopped working... so I tried unistalling it. And I can't reinstall it because I...

..can't find the CD. >3<

Pathetic, I know, I know, but it's what happens. LUCKILY my friend Julie owns a really good scanner, so I can use that!

But I'm not going to be on DA for a while. Like, until I'm done about two chapters' worth. 3'=
What I mean for "not being on DA in a while" bascially means, "I probably won't update pictures - Journals perhaps, and I'll reply to comments and post some of my own..." blah de blah.

So... SO SORRY. I'm not going to be off for a while though, don't worry!

So I've got a bit of news, starting with the title.

Today during lunch hour, guys were playing football. I love football, so I decided I'd ask if I could play. Guys are retards; they said no after insulting me. Here's a list of what some of them said...

"I don't want to have to tackle a girl."
"I don't want to /hurt/ you."
"The ground is hard."
"You'll /cry/. Girls /always/ do."

They used to let me play in fifth grade, and sixth, what's so different now? God. Retards.

Anyways, one of them let me play on his team. So they started with the ball, I was getting psyched. One guy - let's call him JL - had the ball and was running for a touchdown.

I wanted to prove to them I was able; I'd played before, I'm not a wuss. So I ran for him and dived.

I grabbed his legs firmly and he fell. Totally sacked him. XD

The answer was everything I could ask and more; my friends had been watching and EVERYONE - my team, his team, my friends - were laughing and my friends were punching the air and stuff.

"Man, you got sacked by a /girl/!" the guy who let me play on his team, Matt, was freaking out, it was hillarious. SO I proved to them. This jerk on JL's team always tried to get me down when I had the ball. He managed, but not without a fight.

HAHA. Showed them.

So yeah, I love football - it's another of my escapes. All that anger comes out in one tackle. -grins-

ON TO OTHER NEWS...

I MADE IT TO THE BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIPS!

WOOHOO!

It's when two teams from each school in the league compete, last one standing wins basically.

The girls' doubles at my school were tied up to see who would make it, so we had to compete in a mini-tournament. Me and my friend (and partner) Alyssa kicked butt. We lost one out of six games, putting us in second place. As it goes the team who beat us got first - they lost one game too, but since they won us they made first.

Anyways, it's tomorow, and I've made a vow that I'd win against pesky Lacerte - the girls, so far, have never one that team. GRRR. Well, except in singles - my friend Renee kicked butt in the mini tournaments, beat everyone. She'll probably get a banner for the school.

I want to leave my mark, so I'm desperate to win. I have these chinese sticks at home, Chien Tung, fortune sticks. I did them after making my wish and it said: "You will get your wish later on."

Later one could mean years - or days.

Anyways, tournie's tomorrow, wish me luck!

Not like your needles, Blaze, but it felt like my thumb was ripped off.

Now, before I went to an ultra baby school. (Namely, Tache. Pronounced, Tah-chay.) We had no lockers, combinations, only one teacher (excluding Gym and Band) and this is my first day of my first year at Louis.
We were getting ready to go to Sc. Humaines - social studies - and I opened my locker (with difficulty). I opened my locker by doing the combination, then pulling up on the thingimajig. I kinda pulled it up too high, and it got stuck up. So I tug it down - and it slices my thumb.
AARRRRRRRRGGHHHHHHHHHHHH. It hurt like mad. I looked at my thumb and there was a cut against the nail, then a slice through the middle of that cut. It was bleeding a bit.
When it was a new cut, I could lift the part where the middle cut and the against-the-nail cut met, and see the skin inside. Not all of it, though, and it wasn't very deep.
After that, the day went on well. Can you believe I can't wait to go to school tommorow?

Only it started hurting again now. I can feel my heart beat through it X3

Why?
Because it's too much like warriors, what with the Stone and Magewolf. It'll have the same storyline, but instead of the Stone, it'll be the Circle of the Dead.

And the book was too short for my liking. Now, I've written the first chapter and Chapter One is about the size of chapters one and two of the old version, merged together.
Anyways, Fore is still Magewolf, but Magewolves only speak to the dead and the wolves on journeys.

That's right, folks! In a few days - march 31rd - it is my birthday and I'm turning 12.
And, my mom wants me to speak more french, so that I don't lose my first language, so from now on, french included.
Anyways, I'm so excited to be in Montreal. We'll be going on the Rue St-Paul. It's a HAUNTED STREET! With TWO GHOSTS! I saw the episode of Creepy Canada - it was awesome.
We'll be buying books, clothes (less excited, but hey), we'll be walking for the whole day, yeah. We're going with a teacher in my school, the mother of a friend of my 14 yr old sister, also my mom's friend, her two daughters and possibly her son. It will be awesomest.
My birthday list was only books and art supplies.

Looks like an awesome movie. Too bad it's restricted. I'm doing a poster for the contest - I do hope I win, though I probably will not. The movie is about Mary Shaw, a ventriloquist who went mad and killed a young boy. The villagers of Ravens Fair killed her, cutting her tongue out. Now she haunts the town, cutting the victim's tongue out of their mouths if they scream.

My neighbour's house was on fire.

It was burning, badly. At first we could hardly see anything from the smoke. Then it cleared a bit, and we saw flames. So we called 911. The firemen arrived maybe 5-10 minutes after we called. I think the fire began in the garage - it spread quickly.
The owner of the house is a judge, M. Chartier. He and his wife were on a cruise. His daughter, Sophie, was at work. Their son, Pierre-Marc, was studying with his buddy when they heard crackling. He went up the stairs from the basement and saw smoke everywhere. Quickly, he called his pal and took the dog, and ran out.
The firemen had not yet arrived when they escaped.
Anyways, we saw a part of the garage door colapse. Flames were everywhere. AT the sound of sirens neighbours came out.
The Chartier's next door neighbours arrived soon after. Suzanne, (the Chartier's neighbours) was freaking out. Her house was inches away. Sophie arrived. She was in total shock.
"My room!" she cried.

Three firemen went inside.
They were not found.
A long time later one emerged, shaken, collapsing on the ground. Another was dragged out. The third was on a stretcher, being given CPR. D:

We were told to evacuate.
We went to a friend's. Almost stayed the night.
When we returned, the streets were flooded with water and ice. From the hoses. The water didn't drain down the sewer because the sewer was clogged.
I turned and looked at the house.
It was gone. Burnt wood, with ice frozen. An arc of stones.
But that was it.
And the horrible thing - M. Chartier had built, along with his family, the house. Last summer they were working in the backyard.
"Another fireman went inside," my father informed me. "A while later he burst out from the top window."
Holy. Crap.

At least three dead.
And I witnessed most of it. *shakes head* It's horrible.
And I got a cold from being evacuated!!!
