Back from the Dead!

Deviantart itself is so nostalgic! The whole thing reminds me of high school when, you know, I did art (somewhat infrequently). And I would always log on to see what Hayley and Dany had created.

Well today I drew something for the first time since 2005! Wow how life has changed! It's a concept drawing for costumes for a new dance theatre project I'm working on, and I even drew them on dancers who have been cast in the show. So I may upload them when I have finished.

How exciting!

I should upload some stuff from my dance shows. It's my creation and my photography sooo ...

Funnily enough my random playlist is playing Avril Lavigne which is exactly what I listened to in 2005!

Now I can draaawww! Art block has all disappeared. Creativity I hold so dear. So there's no stopping me! Tina Arena ain't got nothing on me. So yeah, I finished and coloured a picture in one day. w00t. *Hopefully* there shall be many more to come. I looked at the subscription page and found they were quite reasonably priced, so if I ever get $40 (haha) I think I shall get one.

Well stuff is finishing... exams are over and they weren't too hard. So far I have ALL A's in Drama which I was amazed at, all B's in Religion which I was not too happy Jan about, and in Maths an A in Finance and Geometry, and a B in Algebraic Modelling.

The School variety concert on Wed. also went well... tiring but fun. We did Hound in the Drama festival and got best ensemble, best actor and actress and runner up of the two also... the only hiccup was my fault which was when Mike died to the sounds of a ringing phone...

42nd Street: Full Run-Throughs, 4 Days a Week. Performing in July.
Fiddler: Song Work, 3 days a week. Performing in September.
Hound: Tech Run-Throughs, 2 days a week. Performing July and September.

Choir: Nothing much, 1 lunchtime a week.

As you can see by the above musical status I am extremely busy. All my free time is devoted to *not* doing homework and using the net. I am currently at school, we just finished performing our childrens theatre to heaps of little kids, it was so much fun! Quite frankly i am getting sick of so many rehearsals every day I just don't have time to sit and do nothing. I am auditioning for the school play next year and nothing else!

We have exams in three weeks, I am not worried though, it shouldn't be too hard. I haven't started studying yet, but apparently I should.

I have a new addiction and that is my dream on Furcadia. A friend and I have started a Harry Potter RP dream and a lot of my time goes to creating and maintaining that, it is going quite well.

I do plan to get around to doing some art... sometime...

Well, the holidays were good while they lasted. Now that the whole Northern Hempishpere go on their Summer Holidays, we poor Australian's are forced to return to the hell that is school. *sigh* At least I am not back logged in to much homework, but art is another thing. I just do it when I feel like it. I seem to be doing a lot of html and pages lately... damn you petpages.

Oh no... the siblings and co. are chanting out the song "She F***ing Hates Me" theyre so obsessed with swearing...

Well I am in a pickle... I am in two plays, 42nd Street and Fiddler on the Roof, run by rival companies, and rehearsals have started on the same days and times. Neither one knows I am in the other... and apparently some of the rehearsals are in the same building! Arg! So anyway... my name in Fiddler is Seth, woope for me!

Being holidays I have more time to do art so it hass gone from a crawl to a faster crawl! I ripped my hair out trying to draw Mara but I will get there! Unfortunately homework is edging into my mind, I have a few assignments and essays to do... nuuu!

I started planning my 18th (which is in March ) and so far I have 30 people. Im having a backyard party with a live band! Hoorah!

Going to the movies on Thursday, apparently twice. I have been asked by two groups of friends... maybe I can co-ordinate the two...

I am currently at school (on the holidays!) for play rehearsals. I am the stage manager of "The Real Inspector Hound" It's quite funny, but sometimes weird... Anyway, holidays are going great, nice and relaxing. Last night I FINALLY saw Peter Pan the movie which was so good. I have been wanting to watch it for ages and it didn't disappoint... I feel a new obsession coming on. I also saw Scary Movie which was less sex/drug orientated than the first two.

In other, my Japanese host sister sent me number 4 and 5 of the CCS mangas which was so nice of her! Shes currently looking out for more Tsubasa too.

So art is coming along a bit, not as productive as I would have liked.

Oh today I applied for a job at chickenfeed! Hooray!

Well this has been a hectic week. First I had a fight with mum and moved out to dads and he doesnt have a computer. Now I visit mum ever now and then and stay a few nights. We had the music competitons, we went Ok and got Highly Commended. Then last night we had the Drama competitions, our grou went crap and got Highly Commended. SOme other groups from school were so excellent and got some 3rds and 1sts. Today we had to sing at some opening of a retirement village and it was SOOO boring. But afterwards we stuffed ourselves with "refreshments." So yeah... now I cant colour too much from the disease known as lack-of-computer-itis.

Retreat!

Well school camp/retreat thingy was just hell. We left on Tuesday on *allocated* busses *sigh* then we were *allocated* groups. I mean we were given the chance to have one fun camp experince and they wrench it away from us. Obviously, our group of four friends was split between the four groups, surprise surprise.

So anyone, the food was really good for once, but when it came 11 PM oh no you arent allowed to go to bed, you have to saty up and play this stupid game till midnight! THEN the stupid guiys in my cabin decided to keep me up till 3 AM with farting noises and rhyming jingles about camp. They then decided to get up at 6 AM and do it again! The humanity.

So finally we got to go home and I get home to find my dog of god knows how many years had died from the anemia she had while I was away. Suffice to say i was hysterically sad and pissed off at the same time. So now they give us two days of which I think is a small compensation for the horrors I have been through, during which I have to do shitloads of homework!

Now that i have finished rambling, you may go back to your otherwise boring lives...

Only one more day till the Easter Holidays, YAY!

Scary thing at school happened today! We were taking a whole school photo (1300 people) and the whole school was on this temporary grandstand. Then one of the boards snapped and 4 people fell through at a height of a 2 storey building. It was so scary, but everyone stayed calm and the evacuation went well. 3 people are in my grade. They are all Ok except for a few cuts and broken bones and one guy has spinal injuries. We had counselling services and stuff all day... its so surreal. We were even on the radio and news tonight!

I am going to do a picture each of my 4 characters, 2 of which haven't been drawn yet. I might then do a pic with all four for my ID...

My life is so... uninteresting. It consists of school, homework, eating, using the net and sleeping. Wow. I command you to be in awe.

Anyway, I had my birthday on the 29th of March, I turned 17, w00t. A pretty horrible and uneventful day but I got some good gifts including driving lessons, FINALLY! And my beloved Hybrid theory album which I worship! I also got a Guinea Pig, he's a dark eyed self golden breed, and for those of you who dont speak guinea-pig-fanatic, he;s got black eyes and an ambery coloured coat. I named him Archimedes ^_^

I logged on to Neopets today to find myself with 10,000 NP and a Silver Paint Brush... I looked at my lookup to find I had got into the Neopets Art Gallery, YAY!. Not much of an achievement but I've been submitting for ages. They picked the photo of my clay Noil for one of their "real" issues. I might upload the photo later... didn't turn out to well though.

Art eludes me... I really can't be bothered doing anything. The only time I draw or colour something is when I have to or I really want to.. hmm...

I feel like a very rippy person lately... not only have I learned that I accidentally ripped the name of a Japanese version FFX character, but I have now ripped the name of something else... I'n not sure what, but on some movie a disease is named Shymera!!! I think the mythical beast Chymera (pronounced Kai-me-rah) is pronounced Shi-me-rah in the US (does anyone know?). So now I am not a happy chappy.

In other news, school is going extremely well, I love all my subjects and teachers, and everything is really easy. I got treasurer of the Youth Drama Club and got into a play called 42nd Street (outside of school). Due to this pressing schedule, my art has been shunted to the side (but I still get *some* done during study periods.)

We had the swimming carnival on Thusday too, it was better than past carnivals because *cometglitter and I got to marshall

Japanese Themed Music Plays

I am back from a very magical trip to Japan. It is simply too large a trip to tell you about it in detail. Some highlights are skiing on mount Ibuki, taking the bullet train to Tokyo and going to Disney Land and seeing Mt Fuji, visiting the Golden and Kiyomizu temples, shopping, and seeing my first pimp sticking prostitute cards onto a telegraph pole... weird. The plane was hell, I never want to fly again, it just takes too long! I am creating a new character called Dioxis, some demony thingy.

One thing that peed my off is that when staying with my host family, my host sister told me that Tidus from final fantasy is called Tida in Japan! AHHHH! I'm so mad, I accidentally ripped off one of the most famous RP games! No wonder the username Tida is always taken... ggrrr!

So now I am getting back on track, adjusting my body clock and sadly getting ready to go back to school, how sad. At least it's college now so I only have elective subjects, w00t! Still on a drawing slump, haven't drawn a thing! I never want to clean out the grill again, it's the worst job in the house! All that fat and grease everywhere... yuck. On the brighter side, I named all out kitchen appliances. The fridge is Girtrude, the microwave is Allison, the breadmakler is Brian and the sink is Betty... there are heaps more, just too many to mention.
Well my new character Shymera is done, and I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out. I also watched Stitch - The Movie today and it is awesome, pretty funny.

Well school is now officially over and am ecstatic! A big fat HAHA to all you Northern Hemispherers who still have half a year left. Anywho, I actually drew my new character, now called Chymiva, pronounced kie-mee-vah. Unofortunately, due to my crappy scanner, her once mesh outfit is now a big black blob, so Ill have to scan it somewhere else! Good thing is that soon we will be getting a scanner-printer-photocopier all in one! YAY! In other brighter news, two of my pictures, the fire scorchio and the mutant kougra got published in the Neopets magazine!!!

Well we have two weeks left of school, so Im just rushing to get my last assesment pieces in, namely maths and art. Tum-te-tum-te-tum.... Well absolutely nothing is new, I have no homework, no plays or concerty things going on... nothing... how boring. Third term of school has been such a bludge, nothing new at all (im not complaining) most of my lessons are spent drawing. On the bright side, I solved *cometglitter's word scramble. I mean sure heaps of other people have (because they dont have lives) but I still solved it (before ~weavermage) HAHA!

Well Photoshop 7.0 is cool, the only problem is it tends to freeze my comp every now and then, and it doesn't have an airbrush. In its place is the " healing tool" whose purpose has eluded me. BUT! I will find out what this seemingly useless fuction does!

This new DA SUCKS ASS!!! I cant submit anything because the right hand colomn cobvers the central one and you cant see anything, the submission process is way too lengthy and its just overall CRAP!!! PROTEST!!! If anyone agrees, note me. It doesnt even show your new events!!! All these stupid coloums are merging all over my screen and I cant see anything!!! ARG! And all the picture's right side have been sut off... I could go on for hours with the crappyness of DA v.3!!!

Not to sound like a really bad artist, but I have been getting comments out of the blue... and I actually got a favourite on my Ixi 30 seconds after it went up... WOW! This is an improvement for me, seeing as I am not a very active deviant!

I am so weighed down with homework, from every subject bar two! *Cries* I dont even know why I write these jorunal entries, not like anyone reads them or cares... I spose its just like a personal diary.

Anyway I finished my painting of Tida in art, I reckon its one of the best I've done. So now in art Ive moved onto the sculture unit and im making a Dragon Table thingy....
