I can now happily report that the anti virus software has been installed and is working beautifully.

I can also report that my computer is running alot faster and smoother now, and that I have been pop up free (save for a few warnings about viruses from the anti virus software) for a full 5 hours ^-^

I'm still looking for the software to my scanner, but once I find it, Ill be able to share all the 'retty' little doodles I drew on paper towels...however dont expect any more because my boss said to stop :/

well, thats all I can think of to say for now. back to looking for the software...**starts digging through unusable 15 year old software for a pinball game >.<**

apparently, I have a really bad virus or alot of nasty bugs in my computer. that, and Im having trouble finding my scanning software, so alot of my artwork is just sitting around my desk, waiting to be scanned.

add a wacky sleep schedule, a MP3 player that decides it wants to be a pain in the rear, Roleplays that just arent getting done, and a crazy desire to experiment with Adobe Flash and you have my life at the moment.

come on, BESH! REPLY already so I can be (once again) happily distracted from the chaos that is my life.

Lets see, it was about Sonic, which I like. it was masterfully written, which is cool. and I loved Amys point of view. it showed the Amy TRUELY loves Sonic.

Ah Kylee, one of the cutest (kawaii way, not other way, ya pervs) fan caracters Ive seen to date. Ive always loved Kylees style and her carefree way of looking at the world. reminds me of a certain blue hedgehog we both know

one of my favorite scenes from Sonic X. the author mixes her characters in with the episode SO WELL! it amazes me how much better fans can be than the Idiots that run the TV stations can be.

an absolutely beautiful telling of what might happen after Twilight Princess. nuff said

If your comment offends me in any way, shape, or form, I WILL Hide you comment. no ifs, ands, or buts. no amount of kind words can hide a unkind comment, and I wont stand for it.

Now, here are a few of the comments that Ive left alone because they actually contain USEFUL CONSTRUCTIVE critics.

Her right arm (our left) is way too short and the other arm is too long. The waist is too skinny compared to the bust. Also the colouring looks a bit rushed.

The close eye is kind of cute.'

the commenter then went on to say:

'The only way colouring can improve is putting more time into it. If you don't feel like doing it when you're done with the drawing or you have other things to do you can always do it later. All colouring doesn't have to be done at once. But if you rush it, it tends to look messier so time is your best friend in that area.'

This comment actually came from my journal. the words I WILL take into consideration, even though it was directed at a friend

'I can if you like, I'd be happy to crit your art, but it seems there is no art in your gallery, only photos and writing, neither of which I wish to critique. Produce a drawing, and I'd be happy to critique it, just as you are free to critique mine.
I don't object to people giving me crits, why do you?
If someone is trying to help you improve as an artist, why would you POSSIBLY be offended by that? Isn't that a NICE thing that someone has taken their time to do that? Without crits from fellow artists, I'd still be drawing as I drew 4 years ago and not improved one iota. Sure, someone saying 'this is a shit piece of art!' is bad, and you'd have every right to be upset. But if someone is telling you what you could do to IMPROVE, how is that bad? Thats what a CONSTRUCTIVE critique is, and its different from straight out slagging something off. Learn the difference.

An artist who shuts off and won't accept ANY crit on their work is a poor artist, not to mention arrogant.
We can all improve in some way.
And you know what? You don't HAVE to listen to crits. I get crits myself where I don't agree and so therefore don't act on their suggestions. No one is forcing you to do as they say, they're SUGGESTIONS.

But why am I wasting my time? If you want to stagnate, then stagnate, just don't expect to ever get any better or have anyone take you seriously.'

as I said, even though it is a bit harsh, Sicpuppy does make some good points. Sic Puppy, I would like to chat with you VIA DevNote or IM if thats all right. dont worry, I just want to discuss the finer points of the art we've done and how we can improve.

Improvement is always a great thing.

I mean, DeviantART has made it easy and simple for us, guys. heres a few of the methods that, dispite use, are getting ignored.

FAQ #160: Can I remove or delete comments on my userpage, journal or deviations? Hiding comments. if someone hides your comment, then it basically means that your comment was upsetting (no matter how kindly you tried to put it) and they would NOT like to hear from you again. so many people Ive seen just dont seem to understand this. So, for those who just seem to have simplistic mindsets, Im going to put it as clearly as possible.

Hidden comment = Go away.

the next method is, Of course, Ignoring the said person. this can be difficult for some of us when you just want to throttle the snot out of a person, but it really is one of the best ways. just act like they dont exist and keep hiding thier comments. if things truely get out of hand, then report that person to a DA admin. thats what they're here for. to make sure everyone plays nice.

Okay, now that THATS out of my system, I figure I'll go check out some more of my friends art now. ^-^

as for me, I'll be listing what my current projects are (similar to Kylee and D-boy, and yes, this idea was inspired by both Kylee and D-boy)


anyways, not much going on, but my boss promises that work is going to get hectic now that Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easer are on the way. >.<. I know I dont tend to talk about work much, but its because I believe work should stay at work and home should stay at home. (sometimes it can be a thin line )

I must say Im feeling very accomplished right now. I like this feeling. I hope it sticks around. anyways, Im currently wrapping up Arc 4 and I hope to get started on Arc 5 soon. (I know the site is only showing up to Arc 3. Im working ahead of schedule to keep my backlog nice and fat) Xodus is doing a wonderful job at delivering the sound files, and I thank him immensely for his help in the radio project. hes also served as a great moral support for the comic itself, and I hope he enjoys his starring role ^-^

Im waiting for the next update before I begin on the next batch of sound files. for now, I think I'll take a nice relaxing bath...(watches her character run off screaming in terror) heh. and I leave you this update with another quote from 'Invader Zim'

about a week ago, a fellow co-worker (who shall remain nameless) and I got into a bit of a spat. I got mixed up on the truth on how we were doing something, and it got back to her. my co-worker took it hard, and also took her feelings out on me. we made up, and I thought we buried the hatchet.

untill last night.

apparently, she didnt want me helping with her job because she was afraid that Id go and 'blab to [another co-worker]'. I thought we had settled this and agreed it was a mistake? this was like a verbal slap in the face to me. so, I turned around and started to walk back to my car. "Oh thats just like you, Tiffany!" she shouted at my back "walk off! thats what I mean by COMMON SENSE!"

hurt, angry, and betrayed, I reved up the engine on my chevy and sped past her, then left, trying to keep from crying. I had forgotten about the earlier mix up, so why hasnt she?

I just dont know who to trust anymore, because clearly I cant trust her.

I just wanted to warn you to prepair yourselves for a FLOOD of artwork coming. thats because I have recently placed a brand new PC in Layaway at a local store and am currently paying it off so I can bring it home.
