Dear all,

It's been a stupidly long time since I updated my journal, so seeing as we have a day off from school because of Britain's inability to cope with a dusting of snow I thought I would correct the issue!

Life is going wonderfully. I've been as involved in productions as always, which has both kept me busy and also made me think completely outside the box which is wonderful. Currently working on the set design for a production of Chomp-A Zombie Musical, a new piece of theatre written for Fusion Youth Theatre: [link] . Along with working on the House Plays at school and beginning to think about a set design for Pirates of Penzance which will hopefully be staged at the end of the school year.

As far is art is concerned, since Christmas I have managed to dig myself out of a hole and get some new inspiration. I have to thank Rose and Sarah in particular for this (see links to their profiles at the bottom of this journal), as they have modelled and taken photos for me perfectly. I am currently working on a series of Photo-manipulations influenced by the film American Beauty, more specifically the scenes with the roses! The first few in this series can be seen in my gallery, over the next few weeks more will be added as the photos begin to filter in.

If you are interested in modelling for the series please comment or send me a note to find out some more about what you'd need to do!

I think that's about all for now, I hope you're all as well as I am!

Timmy J P

Sarah:
Rose:

Landon Smith: [link]

I've had a few parties, one of which resulted in my most recent deviations; a nice little series featuring Rose T's artwork and Tay's body, both of you are much appreciated: you've dug me out of a hole seriously lacking inspiration.

So yeah, check out the five photos I have up at the moment (entitled Tay 1 through 5), feel free to leave comments and constructive criticism!

Definitely need to have another session with Tay and Rose in the near future, and with Paula and Mary (assuming Paula mentioned that to Mary....). I promise I won't steal your D80 Paula!

Results went fairly well; AABCD, the D in chemistry really was no surprise, though I'm slightly dissapointed by the C in English.

Not much else going on really, hopefully a trip to Devon next week to go visit my darling Rose...Road trip with Alex will be fun!

Love to y'all

xx

Hello good people!

Again, I left without warning, and without any particular reason....well, apart from that wonderous thing we like to call writer's block. It's strange really, so many good things happen and it's impossible to write. But then one tiny, insignificant thing, like listening to the sound of a beautiful instrument, can bring everything straight back.

There isn't really that much else to say to be honest, apart from sending you towards my new poem 'The Hang'. It's literally a 5 minute piece, probably very rough, and very bad. But I'd appreciate any comments
Hope you're all well!

Hi guys,

I'm sorry it's been so long since I posted anything. I've had several months which have been completely stagnant on the inspiration front.

Tonight I decided I would listen to a bits from the Lord of the Rings soundtrack. May it Be and In Dreams have inspired me to come back and visit the old haunts.

I even managed to churn out another piece of poetry. Hopefully this is the beginning of my return to the old ways, as I do miss writing. It's just incredibly difficult with no inspiration, and no time!

So yeah, check out 'Greyscale', it's my comeback piece, and also a small response to racism. I'm going to attempt a small series. Maybe with some art as well, based around the topic.

Thanks for all your support, and as usual, if you want me to look over anything, or want me to do an in-depth critique on any poetry give me a shout.

Thanks a lot to Ishy as well...she probably doesn't know it, but her writing has also inspired me to come back. She showed me what I was missing out on. So yeah, thanks Ish

Soooo, six wierd things all about me...

1) I once took an 'emo' photo;
[IMG][link]

2) I decided the life of an 'emo' wasn't for me, and became Superman;
[IMG][link]

3) Unfortunately Taylor said that Superman didn't suit me, and he just lived on steroids, so I gave up the battles against my biggest enemy.

4) I have a huge enemy, his name is SumoJames;
[IMG][link]

5) Instead of being Superman I decided that I would become a typically insecure and retarded teenager;
[IMG][link]

6) That was the totally wierd story of my life

Hi everyone,

I had an awesome time in Wales, was great lots of walking and climbing I'll get some of the climbing pics up here at some point!

I then went to Ireland with the family, that was also an enjoyable experience, and there should be some pics from there appearing soon too!

I have also been hard at work writing the script, that is until I left all of it (hand-written) in Ireland, and is now irretrievable. Slightly annoying to say the least, seeing as I had about 30 pages worth of script!!

After losing that I couldn't seem to write a thing for about a week, I tried everything; Prose, Poetry, Scripts, anything I'd done, or never done before! But still it didn't work, until today!!

So I'm back on track with the writing, an epic seems to be appearing in my mind, and also in my notebook. Totally different to anything I've ever written before, could be seen to fit in to more of Helen's style than my own...but there you go, I'm going to enjoy the challenge of something new!

What else is there to talk about? I've also been going through some old bits, and found a piece I wrote a fair way back, so I've posted that; I need your opinions!!

Nothing much planned for the rest of the holidays, just all the usual stuff and meeting up with a few friends every now and then.

Talk to you all at some point...comment my photos and writing!!!!!!

Love y'all

Hi everyone,

It's a while since I've done one of these, hopefully this won't be as much of a rant as the last!

I've been away the past week, a few days in Scotland to climb Ben Nevis, a few days in the Lakes to climb Sca Fell Pike.

In Scotland the weather was typically repulsive, rain, wind and cold. Not a nice mix when you are at the top of a mountain. Unfortunately there was so much cloud I couldn't see a thing; but still it was an awesome walk.

Totally the other end of the scale in the Lakes, boiling hot, no wind at all, and the sky was so clear it was as if we were in the Mediterranean (sp?). Wonderful views, and another delightful walk in the countryside.

I'm going away tomorrow to Snowdonia for a week, looking at doing the Snowdon Horseshoe, and several other walks in the region, hoping for weather as good as Sca Fell, though a little breeze wouldn't be complained about!

Hope you're all well and feeling arty!

I've started writing something a little different, in the form of a script. I may get it up here sometime. But first I'll let it plan it's own course!

Look forward to talking to you all on friday,

Reading; A star called Henry

Hi everyone, this is just going to be a quick note.

My aim of this journal is to thank everyone, I realise that most people don't think they've done anything for me, and to be honest I should probably be apologising to most of you.

Everyone who's been around for me; Thank you, the past few years have been very difficult. Though you may not realise it, it's only because of all you guys that I'm still here. There didn't really seem to be much for me in the world for a fair while. But I've now realised how great life is and I now appreciate it more than ever.

I've been a bit screwed up, and I should apologise to people that have been at the forefront of this internal anger that occasionally seeped out. I've apologised to many in person, but some I cannot thank or say sorry to in person as I've never met you. But you've all been brilliant.

This evening I wrote an Epilogue to Retrospection, I'm now going to let it rest for a while. Until my feelings change in a significant way, or I find more that I want to write about. For now I shall start on a new project that has a totally different air and style about it.

I hope that through reading Retrospection, as I know many of you have, you've learnt something and felt something of the emotions that go through someone when a close family member or friend is lost to their own actions. All I can say is that I hope nothing like this ever happens to you, or your family. It truly is living hell, but with the help of people like yourselves anyone can come through their troubles.

Thanks again, this is rather longer than I first planned but nevermind. Even if no-one reads this it's good to know it's out there.

Peace

Timmy
Hio!!

Life is good!! I quite seriously haven't felt better in months, certainly a good thing.

I've finished the first editing of Retrospection, so I'm now calling it a finished work, as only small changes such as grammatical errors are now going to be made. This doesn't mean however that the writing of the book won't continue. There are many things I still feel that I must write about, and you'll be the first to know about it!

So for a little while I haven't had the sketch book out, I'm hoping to change that later tonight...I feel another night of no sleep creeping up on me! Any suggestions for something to draw/inspire to me would be very welcome!

I don't think there is much more to talk about really, I shall now go and write. I feel inspired
Anyway, after it did finally fall apart I did take it into the shop, and now it's all pretty and working again (with added mudguards).

Got back into athletics again as well, feeling fitter than ever, and even starting to look it as well. My jeans refuse to stay up, even with the belt on it's tightest hole Aaaah well, the joys of a fast metabolic rate, healthy food and far too much exercise. Can't complain!

Went on German Homestay trip with school jsut before the Easter Hols, that was an event!! Not quite as bad as it could have been, but still nothing to write home about (as the family will have noticed ). Staying with a family of Afghans was quite funny, seeing as we were meant to be on a German trip. The kids were funny though, one of them had some kind of obsession with English swear words that often left us in quite an awkward position...but hey, we got over it, and learnt a few insults ourselves. Here is a select picking;

Your mother is taller than your father
Your father is your mother

This is the extent of German insults...how amusing!!!

Before Germany there was of course My Fair Lady, I was doubtful that it would actually make the stage, but it did. And did so with flying colours. It was the best show I've seen in about a year, and definately the best show I've ever been involved in. Well done to everyone

I won't mention slight insecurities *cough*chandelier*cough*

I even got an easter egg

What else is there to talk about? Nothing really. Such a boring life I lead. Nevermind, I'll go back to listening to The Thrills and Beethoven at the same time. I'm currently reading a book on Poetic metre and rythm...a rather interesting and compelling read if you ask me Just finished Made in America by Bill Bryson, awesome book. I recommend it to everyone!

Goodbye,

I fell asleep on the bus home today. Shows how tired I've been recently. Perhaps staying awake until the early hours of the morning isn't such a great idea!

While on the subject of sleep; Apparently teenagers should have around 8 hours sleep a night, anymore that that and it's bad for them, any less than 6 is also bad for them. Recently I've been getting about 6 hours sleep a night during the week, and about 12 during at the weekends. Shows how unhealthy I am!!

Enough of the sleep, on to other related matters, that aren't really related.

Play rehearsals are going well, only 11 days till opening night. It's getting quite scary, but at least the scenery is finally in production!! It is slightly worrying that songs are still being choreographed, and people still don't know their lines. It's also worrying the amount of tim that's being wasted during rehearsals. But nevermind, it'll all be ok on the night.

Went to the athletics club last night, was great fun, but incredibly tiring as well!! Still, by the start of the season proper I should be mega-fit and ready to go and whoop everyones asses at 400m, and most importantly; high jump

There isn't really much else that's been going on, only 8 days till mum's married again!!!

I'm going to go and write for a bit, enjoy yourselves doing whatever you're doing!!

Much love,

Today's bee kinda strange, ever had that feeling where you are half way between absolutely fantastically great, and downright crap?

Well that's where I am. One minute I feel great, everythings going really well, the next I get really depressed. It's not a brilliant feeling, and is probably not helped by the lenten exercises (no masturbation or drinking. Blame Sam & Nick for getting me into the first).

I've also been writing some strange stuff today, I kept on spouting poetry at people when they asked me a question, at times it's good. But today it wasn't. Though I have managed to write Part 4 of Retrospection; I think it's at it's most moving at the moment.

Last night was awesome, Ashleigh should have won by a mile, but some dick who had written a piece of crap (in other words cliched, run of the mill, love song. That went on about roses, waterfalls and something about being with his one love). Another bad thing about the night; the 14 year old punk assed drummer who persisted in smackingthe hell out of a rather beautiful cymbal. If anyone knows him tell him that if he does't want it I'll take it off his hands any time.

There were some upsides though, a couple of awesome bands (Gimble - nice hair lads, and the Sonic Purveyors were both absolutely fantastic.). Of course Ashleigh was awesome, the only solo singer to have live backing (makes it a billion times harder, and mistakes are about a hundred times more likely), and it worked so well. Though the sound guy was pretty crap, treble up on the guitars, bass down on the guitars. General volume for guitars, bass and drums should've come down. Vocal mic should have been louder with the treble taken up.

You wanna know the best thing of the night? Well to be honest it was probably the fact I was sat next to Taylor. Sad I know, but most people seem to know how much I like her, and perhaps she likes me just as much back.

I think that's all for now. Cya'll around.
