Hi everyone,

I'm glad to say that I'm doing a little bit better now I'm not yet capable of doing normal things like driving or even walking long distances, but at least I'm able to sit and talk for a while, or have me a nice game of chess or ganzenbord with Dony and my ma ^^

Dony has been such a nice companion these passed few days; he came over to spend almost the entire week with me. He made me tea, helped me get places etc. etc. Heck, he even showered me when I got really ill the other day! Really nice of him! Thank you smoochums!
Props to my mommy as well, she stayed home with me the entire first week. She even made me chicken noodle soup, yay!

Holiday Spirit
So today we celebrate the birth of St. Nicholas on Curaçao. For those who don't know, this is the dutch version of Santa Claus. We celebrate his b-day as "Pakjes avond", which literally means "package night". On this day it is said that the Pietjes climb all kid's rooftops and then they leave presents for us. But to be able to get a present you have to put your shoes at the doorstep, filled with goodies for Sinterklaas's horse. We mostly put dried grass and a carrot But if you're not a good boy/girl you won't get any presents! On the contrairy... Pietje will put you in his bag and they'll take you to spain with them! Whuahaha
But I'm "all grown up" now, so I don't put shoes anymore, or get presents... But this year when Dony & I woke up, we went outside and to our surprise, my mommy-klaas left chocolate letters for us! How nice is that! I got myself a nice C and Dony, of course got him a D. We ate them allready, yuuuummm! My mom's so nice! I'm glad I have her

All about Sinterklaas
So I bet all you peeps who don't know anything about Mr. Sanikolas would probably be interested in a little info. So here's everything in short.

He is old, white, has a white beard and he's from Spain. Yeah, you heard me... Spain! Lol He basically functions the same as the ow so popular Santa Claus who livess at the North Pole; except for us he doesn't have any reindeer, a slay or even elves... Instead he rides a white horse and has "Pietjes" that help him. And he arrives to our island by ship btw! So yeah... that's it about Sanikolas.

So yeah... I'm currently quite sick, at home. I haven't been to school in over a week -_- I miss all my friends and schoolmates so much!

I went to the doctor a bunch of times, and the results are in... It's dengue. Man... it SUCKS! I mean jeez, I can't do anything. Even just sitting at the pc gets me tired. I have to stay home for another week or so... so no school for me until like next year?

Besides being sick...
Yuyu has gone to that all cats heaven... He had been sick for a long time now, I took him to the vet many times too. But nothing would help, his body was deteriorating. So last week my mom took him to the city pound and they put him to sleep. I miss him so so much! I feel lonely, without him I know he was just a cat... But, he was MY cat.

Imma make him a piece when I get better, right now I'm not all that capable. I can't even shower myself half of the time -_-

I'm quite tired now... I'm going to go rest so that I can take a shower later.

I don't understand something. One of our local banks, who calls themselves "your friendly bank" denied giving me support. I'm even their client, I have a checking account,s avings account, debit card... everything from them. They wouldn't even help out with $1... I mean dang, a DOLLAR? They said they see no need in helping me, they rather support "social" things and hung up on me. I can't believe it, I seriously can't. I wrote a formal letter explaining everything. I even offered to post a link to their website on mine and stuff, so they can reach a wider public. But nothing I said or did made a difference.

I want y'all opinion on this... Am I wrong to get upset about this and wanting to change banks? I might be selfish or egoist... But damn, all I asked for was a dollar

Idea
There is a pool/pond of water, in it the geisha (me; big breasts, curvaceous… NOT FAT!) sticks her sword, on the sword you can see the yin-yang symbol in the pool. The impact of the sword makes the water gush out, and out of the water jumps a koi-fish. Behind the geisha you will see the two dragons; fire & water. Beside the pool grows a cherry blossom tree (sakura), that must be very beautiful, and it drops leaves all over. Also would be present my name “Crystal” but in Kenji.


Meaning
The pool of water represents my feminine side, and the powerful force of change; water has the power to abolish, dissolve, purify, wash away and regenerate.

The Katana(Japanese sword) symbolizes liberty and strength and also the generous pursuit of honor and virtue. The sword, to me, also expresses my understanding and appreciation of the importance of living in the moment, of taking not one second of existence for granted.

The yin-yang symbol, on the sword, reflects the inescapably intertwined duality of all things in nature.

The geisha is me (resembles me too, with the curly hair etc.), the geisha represents the epitome of feminine allure, power and mystique. Also The Japanese word geisha means ‘erson of the arts’ and a true geisha is said to be a living work of art; I am art.

The Koi(carp fish) is symbol for the family, also the Koi represents perseverance in the face of adversity and strength of character or purpose. Combined with the water, out of which the Koi jumps, the Koi symbolizes courage, achievement, and overcoming life’s obstacles.

According to legend “Koi are transformed through their efforts and perseverance, able to climb waterfalls or become dragons.”

The water & fire dragon are for the balance of yin and yang. Our Chaos or Spirit is the fiery dragon that conquers all things. The water dragon symbolizes the deeper reaches of our subconscious, or that the dragon in general stands for fears or repressed feelings or emotions.

“The dragon symbolizes nobility, magic, the power of transformation and imagination, perseverance, loyalty, power and the ability to transcend the ordinary.”

The cherry blossom tree is a metaphor for life; a brief, brilliant blooming, followed by the inevitable fall. Cherry blossom is a symbol of female beauty and sexuality.

How's everyone doin? Hopefully fine and dandy ^^ I have pretty much nothing to talk about today, have tons of stuff to do but no taste in doing anything

My mom, auntie, Dony & I went cruising down to the other side of the island yesterday; to look at the damage the tropical storm caused and such. After a few hours we settled at Kenepa beach and went for a swim. The tropical storm Omar did some real damage, the beaches are basically destroyed. There are people everywhere with heavy machinery picking up the broken huts and stuff to clean up things. I think I'll probably post some pics later... So if you wanna see what Omar did to our lovely Curacao, look forward to it!

Today my mom and myself went up to my uncle's place all the way in the east of the island. I took allot of pictures... So I'll be posting tons of pics soon... hopefully

I have tons of ideas in my head these days... I've been doodling often again, so maybe i'll upload some of that too. I have tons of pictures to manipulate and a bunch of stock images to upload! Besides that, tons of schoolwork like math, history, geology, art and more...

They say the storm has passed... It stopped raining this morning, but still fell here and there in the afternoon. It was soooo HOT today, like damn -_- The weather was looking very bad, too... I heard there was even a tornado in Montaña(some east town of the island) But I guess I'll find out soon, when news comes on

Besides that, the plants are looking beautiful, they needed the rain ^^ I took many pictures today, I'll be uploading some stock later on, when I finish with this thingy for art class; huge essay concept for our exhibition next year

Oh, yeah! Me and Don made rainbow-chip-chocolate-cake yesterday! It was awesome! I'll put up some pics of that later on, as well!

I thought it was about time for another Tittel update on everything... So here I go:

- For starters I have a new found love! Caramelldansen! LOL I know, so old right? But can you believe it's the 1st time I've ever heard of it? And like no one around here knows of it either! So please understand
- I was doing research and I found out there have never been any animecons around here, I am really thinking about organizing the 1st one XD I allready know who I would dress up as... can Anyone guess? She's my alltime-favorite-anime-actress-thingy lol
- I'm in this huge highschool crisis! I have to choose a extra course otherwise I can't graduate... It all happened so sudden, i can't even believe it! I have no idea what to choose either
- I'm searching for colleges in the U.S.A. I'm in desperate need for a scholarship, or even just help with college funds... Do any of you know of any exchange student programs or anything that could help me? Please let me know!
- Besides all this, everything is running smoothly... except the huge migrains I've been having lately, I guess it's all the stress from all this school madness!
- And last but not least... I'm searching for someone that would like to do an art trade with me. I need someone to do a potrait of me and a friend. Either traditional or digital. And in return I could make you something or take a special request picture.... You decide. If you're interested, note me!

It's me again, after a pretty long time. I've been really busy lately, with school and tons of other stuff. So here's an update of what's been going on...

- Well, first of all... School started! And I actually like my new class too! Too bad my babygirl Jene isn't in my class this year, I'm gonna miss her company
- I still can't quite believe it; I'm a senior in highschool now! Like O-M-Gosh! Let's hope everything goes well and I graduate!
- I've fianlly gotten over all the goodbyes last summer vacation brought with it, I still miss a few of my friends allot... But I'll survive ^^
- I got my heartbroken last summer vacation too. Thankfully I'm over that relationship. Moving on...
- I'm currently not speaking to Alvi, he broke my heart so... It's gonna take me a while on this one XD
- I finished my internship at Tramm Imaging, and I bought a new camera with my earnings, yaaaay! It's a Pentax Optio W30 and it's really cool, especially because it's waterproof! Now how awesome is that!
- My auntie and my 2 cousins are on the island, on holidat all the way from Holland... Soooo cool!
- I'm currently not creating much, school has me pretty busy allready. But I am working on this new picture project, I'll hopefully be uploading some any time now...
- I have a f-ing cold! It has me talking funny
- I'm working on my F.A.Q. and pricelist. They'll be up pretty soon, hopefully! And I have big plans for my upcoming website!
- W-O-W... Last time I was online I had about 1600 visitors, now I'm way passed 2000. How great is that!
- Last but not least, I've found out that most people aren't what they seem to be. Don't trust anyone completely, ever

So yeah... I'm finally done ranting. Expect some new stuff soon!

It's a little quiet here at work these days... So I've been updating my DA Profile a little ^^

I hope that y'all noticed the changes! I like my new avatar allot!

I thought of making the changes since I have a new look, with the new haircut and all XD

Been busy with some designs here at work too! I made Reni a businesscard, made him and don some other stuff too, which I'll upload soon(after I've given them the stuff ofcourse )

I have great news! I finally have a new digital camera! It's not anything fancy, but it fit perfectly in my budget... So yeah!
It's a Pentax Optio W30. I like it allot! It has 7.1 megapixels and I can take pictures underwater with it! How awesome is that! ^^

Well, the week has arrived on which most graduates leave the island for the dutchlands to go on with their studies. Many of my friends are leaving, including Reni. I'm so going to miss him! *snif*

Besides that, what else is new? Hmmm... Not much I guess. That will be it for now...

I noticed my views have really gone down lately... So I really need to get back on track with my works, don't I? XD

Works going good, though... Really busy. Mostly printing and restoring old pictures. But I like, so I don't mind.

Besides working I went to town yesterday to hangout with Don... Reni's away for the weekend, so he couldn't come along. Was nice though... We had ice cream, then chinese and more ice cream

Besides that... Not much is up. I'm really tired... I wake up at 6 to go to work, get hom at about 7-8pm and do stuff like chat, read my emails and da stuff. Then I cook, eat... talk for a few minutes with my mom... And before I know it, it's like 1am and I get 5 hours or less of sleep XD So yeah, no wonder I'm tired

I'm going to rest today... Maybe design some stuff this afternoon or later tonight.

I'm having fun though! Reni and Don were over tuesday... we had so much fun! We drank all day long and did silly stuff XD

Oh! I got a new puppy too! My mom named her Sunday, since we got her on a sunday. But I changed it to Sundae, as in choc-chip sundae!

I've finished all my school projects and with nice grades, may I add. ^^ I finished taking all my school tests and stuff. I got my grades back and I did pretty good! So I'm going to 6th grade next year! Yaaaay!

How's everyone doing? I don't know if anyone's noticed, but I've been gone for some time now... I was in a very long test period and last weekend I went "camping" with some friends.
Man... I really missed DA! Well... Besides this weekend, I was way to busy to even remember internet exists XD

So yeah... I still have 2 more tests; one on Wednesday and the last next Monday. Both history tests... And I suck at history -_- Meh... I think it'll be ok though ^^

This weekend was... like... THE BOMB! We(My bestfriends, their classmates and I) went to a weekend house since Friday morning until sunday night. We had soooo much fun! Me and Sheldon got pasted BIG TIME XD To bad I can't add more details since we made this very-important-secret-pact-thingy-that-I-can't-say-anything-about XD

But anyways... I'll be on more often now, I hope! lol Hope you guyz still remember who I am! lmao
