I got a new computer wich is much faster but I didn't manage to make the scanner work yet ><
I'll be posting school stuff for now (I really don't have much of a choice xD)

This year school has been really demanding. The 2nd term just started and I'm already drowning in the pile of work -_- The things we're doing are pretty cool, it's stressing that I can't give each individual project the time it deserved.

Well I hope someone will still check out my work now that I've come back from the dead xD

I spent the last 2 and a half weeks in Algarve enjoying the summer sun I also went to summer camp for 2 weeks wich rocks too

I was already quite absent from dA before all that but I'll be back now got some drawings that I did in school that I forgot to submit and some that I did in Algarve. I'm trying not to upload everything at once tho.

My homework for arts class was to go take photos of the cows.. so me and some friends decided we would see ALL of the cows (101). Today we started our "cow-paper" but my camera went out of batery when I only had like 8 cows x_x We'll be going for another trip soon yep it's fun to go around the city taking photos of cows The most wierd thing is that one of the cows was stolen wth?!

Oh and I drew one of the cows, still not sure If it came out good enough to put it here, maybe soon

School hasn't given me too much work yet. Actually I don't think I need to study anything yet and tests only start at the end of the month
Now I have a notebook for Art class where I need to do 3 drawings a week. So.. hopefully you'll start seeing more stuff here as I get used to it (if something good comes out lol).

Hmm I miss my friends that left the school this year too much. At least then I would spend most of the classes laughing with my mate, now their plain boring

Today I went to the movies with some friends, I really missed them We watched Land of the Dead, bah really stupid movie, hardly any story in it it was just zombies eating people. What's with young people these days always wanting terror movies? I wanted to watch The Island instead, oh well...

The other day I also went to the cinema but with my family. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, what a fun movie!

I really haven't turned on the computer with PS since I'm home so I still got the same stuff to finish. I did draw something yesterday but I'm still not sure if it's worth submiting =/

I went to Florida for 14 days Yea I travelled all the way to the other side of the Atlantic lol. So.. I was back yesterday, couldn't belive it took me so long to get home...... on the 31st at 11am I was already in Orlando's airport and I only got home 11am the next day oO Well counting with the 5h time diference and that I changed plane in Newark but still..

well it's GREAT to be home Great to be back to a crowded city with small cars and not so many fat people everywhere O_O (no ofense to fat ppl), great to eat normal food again.. everything great!!
This makes it seem that I didn't like Florida at all but I did, I loved it !! It's just so diferent that I missed home

I went to Walt Disney World Resort 4 days (so much FUN *might submit some photos*), to Kennedy Space Center (great!), to Miami (on the day of the VMA's wish I had tickets ;_ and to Daytona, Vero and Palm Beach (beaches over here are better tho ). Most of the time I was in Orlando.. getting in a car to get EVERYWHERE is so wierd x_x

Well enough of my vacation I already checked out all journals, coments (.. to comments I made lol) and polls.. the hardest part next, the 241 deviations [EDIT: Already seen 60 deviations -_-']. I'll try to comment as much as I can

And I got loads of work to finish.. I really can't start anything before I finish these, but now the computer with photoshop doesn't have internet gah...

I'm back!! Well actually I was back on the 20th but then I left for my grandma's house. The summer camp was great! It was so GOOD meeting loads of new people, I didn't remember how it felt lol. I didn't make a journal before because I was a bit down when I got home, something with a boy there.. don't want to talk about it. Anyway I'm recovering now so it's all good
Me feels like talking about the summer camp!! Well we were divided in 3 teams and we had contests and games to gain points. My team came 2nd but I couldn't contribute more than I did to it, I even drew the penguin on our flag (*will post a photo when she gets it*). I'll probably go back next year Now it feels wierd to wake up alone in the bedroom and not with 16 other girls. It also feels wierd having meals with 4 people instead of seeing +100 people around you o_o I've gotten used to it now.. I think.

Well I doubt anyone had the patience to read all that but I felt like talking Now I have +100 deviations to view, the journals have already been all read lol. Hmm I left so much work to finish o_O

too much time without saying anything and then 2 journals on 3 days? i must be going mad

yesterday the beach was great!! i thought it was going to be a bit cold or cloudy but it wasnt, the weather was great yay for freezing sea water
it was really hard to go to school today, the holiday yesterday and the trip to the beach made me feel like i was already on summer holidays lol. but i had some great news at school: im going to redo the art test on tuesday YAY there was a problem with the classrooms, in our time-table it was written the wrong one and some ppl were late bcz of that. they r going to redo it for them and im going too (i was late but i happened to know the right classroom lol). it was the best news they could give me

yea im still alive... ive been so busy lately but i had THE LAST GLOBAL TEST TODAY i had 1 global test everyday since last monday.. i couldnt stand them anymore. yesterday i had the art one and it was so bad hardly anyone had time to finish it and i only did 2 out of 3 questions... im going to get like 55% so im not going to get A at the end of the term anymore so unfair!!
anyway on to the good things, tomorrow is holiday here in my country and im going to the beach (1st time this year). i miss going to the beach so muuuuuuch

I drew a girl that was going to be submited to scraps, and its alot diferent from my 1st manga drawings. I also wanted to submit some simpsons doodles and the ID I made. I'm going to try to keep doing stuff but getting constructive comments really helped!
The book I ordered The Art of Drawing Manga by Ben Krefta arrived the other day lol. It talks about loads of stuff even a lil about photoshop, but I havent used it much yet.

Yea im still reading that book. Its NOT working. Today I did an exercise of copying and upside down picture and I was suposed to be please with the result.. I could have done it 100x better if it was not upside down! Im getting kind of mad with the book !! Im supposed to feel the shift between L-mode (left part of the brain mode, normal one) and R-mode (right part of the brain mode, artistic one), but I dont. I feel all the same when doing the exercises. Well maybe its because the book is meant to be for people who think they dont have any artistic talent. Im just going to keep reading, maybe I will learn something.

I didnt win the avatar contest, I was so close ! A last min entry came and won.. nearly got the 3 month subscription

I've started reading Drawing in the right side of the brain people say it's very good. I'm quite impressed with some examples it has with drawings before and after reading it. I hope it does make that diference.
I'm doing the Preinstruction Drawings. I've done one with myself, and I was surprised i had never tried realistic drawing and i thought it was quite good. Then I drew a person without looking at anyone (came out a bit wierd lol). And finally I drew my hand (it was ok). Now I have to draw a chair and then i can keep on reading
