For those who weren't there or for those who don't know the mechanics, it was a tournament style that went on like this. All cosplayers were split to two teams, red and blue, of equal number. You won't know who your opponent is until you get on stage, and you must remain in character no matter who that other person is. So imagine a gundam mecha vs a five year old red ranger. In my case, I had to go against a guy from Pandora Hearts... and my Finny was SCARED of that huge sword >.<

Round two for the winners of round one had to pick awkward situations and act appropriately with, again, another random character on stage. Imagine Sensui and the guy he was against picked up a card that said Sensui had a boss and he was late, the other guy (I forgot who he was up against >.< went "Why are you late...blah blah blah...don't you know who your boss is? who your god is?" and then Sensui replied with "Wala akong Dyos" EPIC!

Round three was a tag team match where again the teams are random. My fight was really for lols.... I was Finny and teamed with the penguin... VS Rock Lee and Red Ranger.... cuteness vs martial arts... of course we lost lol.

The winning pair go against each other until only four were left and then it became a question and answer thing.

It was great because we were judged not only on how well made the costumes are, but on another aspect that is often left out in most cosplay competitions: knowing ones character and actually acting like him/her. Costume play "cosplay" is not only Costume, there is a play aspect to it. I am guilty of this and sometimes I choose characters that I don't really understand.... but these instances I costrip because I feel I don't give them justice if I join the competition.

Altogether, it was really fun. WInning or losing didn't matter much because we all had a great time

But sadly that was not what I got.

Because I suddenly got a PM message from a person who badmouths a close friend of his all because of a personal rant in the said friend's journal. People rant in their journals all the time. It's the reader's own choice whether to believe it or not. And yes he named that said friend's name. Unashamedly pointing with an accusing finger with his words.

I really hate people like this. I hate backstabbers the worst.

I would prefer people who tell me head on that they hate me than be plastic about it and then spread hate at my back when i'm not looking. It's really really annoying.

I even tried reasoning and stating my side, that his friend was not TOO bad since said friend was entitled to her own opinion. But NOOOO, he would not listen. He was stuck in his warped up world of backstabbing. He sent me a PM, he should have sensed the annoyance and the firmness of my opinion. He stood by his opinion till the end, uncaring and insensitive of someone else's opinion.

And yes that totally destroyed my day.

All in less than 15 minutes.

To that person who may be reading this entry (yes he's on my contacts list here in multiply) I'm ranting now, does that make me a bad person? At least I don't name names, and she didn't either. You did. I really hate backstabbing insensitive people like you.

Well summer time in the workplace means just more work for us since most kids have more time in their hands.. but it's fine.

And lord...I seriously need a lovelife =_= everyone in the office always has someone. good lord >.<

Anyways.... I'm just recently acquiring the love for models....especially gundam and transformers...might buy some this summer.

And that Dslr I really need to purchase soon

I really love my parents.... I really do. Every free time I have I want to take them out and bring them around, and even hang out with them.... I actually choose them over my friends, anytime. No questions asked.

As today is my rest day, it was only natural that I bring my parents out.... my mom specifically since my dad was too tired to go out. We went to Rockwell.... and well.... the day out turned to be a horrid nightmare.

Me and her always always always argue about money. And today was another one of those days. IN fact.... we argued about who would spend for a dress and a hat I wanted. I bought the hat, with my own money....which was fine. Then we went to Dorothy Perkins.... I tried on a shirt.... and then she goes, "Do you like that?" I replied with "Yes, But I can't afford it."

Then she goes in a fit.

What the hell.

When my brother came home from Finland, where he earns 1000% more than I do.... my mother went on a shopping spree for his clothes. Get this, even before he came home, she was already shopping for his clothes. WHY?

Even my medical bills she takes note of and tells me that it's too expensive. Pati ba naman medical bills ko binabalik nya sakin?

This is just so unfair.

Bands played jpop and english remixed songs. We had free drinks, and some film showings by the sponsors. It was all fun.

Didn't stay long enough to know who won in the fashion show catwalk though, since it was already 11:45 when we left. Curfew or not, we didn't want to stay out too late.

I won a death note L bag from the raffle, which I gave to Ayn because he wanted it I took a photo as a remembrance of it though

Met Mika chan....saw Ka-chan but again wasn't able to take a photo of her

But as always.... for everything good...there is a bad counterpart. Ayn lost his phone, and I lost both my eyeliners (yeah mine is minute compared to ayn's loss....but I loved those eyeliners to bits! eemphorted kaze, victoria's secret at shiseido na liquid eyeliner =_

I don't have much photos...but I will upload vids of the bands.

Usual scenario of a courtship is guy likes girl, guy courts girl, and if girl likes guy back, they get together.

But in my case...it was like this: guy courts girl, then tells girl after 8 months that she should not expect anything out of it.

WTH?!

Then why the heck was there a courtship in the first place if he did not want me to expect anything?!

Argh!

Ok there, done ranting, and back to the sewing.... my shoes still have that converse patch...so I need to remove those.

And it made me realize how much of a nerd I was >.>

I could not think of any other author that has inspired me as much as Dante has with his three works: Inferno Purgatorio and Paradiso. Yes readings in college, but books I have started reading when I was in elementary (you can imagine what kind of sorry childhood I was living*_*).

But yeah, I can be such a philosophical nerd sometimes.
