Yeah it does. It feels like just yesterday I was releasing home. but it was not. It's a month ago.
Now my life is in constant change. I've been sick for the last two months now. I'm quite tired of being sick and sick of being tired. Because it's what my sickness does, make me tired quite fast. Hopefully I'm getting better soon. The sickness did give me more time to focus on my creative side tho.

Some things are about to change. It's not hundred percent sure yet, but I might be looking at the possibility of going
in full time with design and photography. I really hope this works out. And I've also applied for a scholarship for young people starting up a business. Cross your fingers.

So, I'll update ya soon enough peeps. Oh, by the way, updated the gallery both here and on my portfolio. Yummy!

Summer is passing, the autumn is here. Which in Norway usually means lots of lots of rain. It has already started. The days are turning grey, but hopefully the beautiful colors of autumn will soon put some light and inspiration to it. This has been a good summer, lot's of craziness, fun and let's not forget the work. It is all good memories wich will be warming me a little while longer.

So what's next? I have a thousand projects in my head which I really want to start working with, but I'm kind of lacking energy to do much about them. Hopefully this will change, because there should never be something stopping your creativity. Of course some projects are already being realized. I've been wanting to draw a comic for ages and I've started, it's going to be a small webcomic about everything and nothing... of course wildly exaggerated. I'm awaiting a couple of more photoshoots as well, but I think this autumn will be more graphics than photography. We'll just have to wait and see.

So it's been awhile again. I'm sorry. Alot have happened. I went back home in June, by home I mean back home to my dad's place. I did a wedding shoot. I went to the hovefestival, both for work and pleasure. I shot the kongsfestival in my hometown. I'm currently working on two identity profiles, it's lovely being back in the design game with full throttle.

I'm going home to Trondheim next week, just taking a small vacation with my family first. I'm fooling around with the new portfolio system here at dA as well. Pretty sweet stuff.

The sun is smiling at us up here everyday now. I actually went out in a t-shirt today and it still was warm. I'm gonna need some shorts soon. But I didnt mean to talk about the weather!

As you might have read in my earlier journal me and my best friend launched our creative collective a couple of weeks ago. And it has been alot of fun already. On Monday we had a portrait shoot, a student at the H2 Academy did the hair, styling & make-up and presented us with a model. Some of the photo's are for viewing in my gallery. The rest over at our site. We where hired to do these shots from the student, so she could use the photo's as a presentation of her exam. It all went pretty great.

But the sun keeps smiling at us! Tonight where covering 7 hours straight of concerts at this event called "Nattrock 09". It's going to be awesome. Friday the 8th of May we're covering the H2 Academy Fashion show at "Rick's" here in Trondheim. We'll be sure to update our site and I'll update some more here also.

Two creative minds, wich just happens to be me and my best friend, joined together to make more art! It's been almost two months since I wrote in this journal. As some might have noticed, my gallery has been cleaned up. I felt like it needed it. I might have been stupid and taken away some really good photographs, but I left most of those whom I love myself.

As I am continuely evolving on this road of life, so does my photographs and so does my view on art. I've been on dA for a whole five years and I have no intention on leaving anytime soon. But the times where I just put up every work I do is gone. I feel I need to use my time here on dA for the appreciation of art. Art is a difficult thing, because it's so individual. But we need to continue pushing good art ahead. So let's do.

I just noticed that my last journal entry actually got lost, but well okay. Now I'm here to just wish you all Happy Holidays (Merry Christmas to those of you that celebrate it as me) and a Happy New Year. Today have been a day of joy together with my family, with good food and my soon to be 2 year old little brother getting totally crazy when Santa came for a visit.

So now it's time to go to bed and be up in early tomorrow morning watching cartoons with my brother and wait for the rest of my family to arrive for a 1st day of Christmas breakfeast.

First off; I did not have scolioses. I actually got to know it quite some time back, but I'm to lazy to update the journal. What a relief.

As you can see I've added some shots. It was from a promo shot for trash/metalcore band Diary of Dementica. Happily enough they seem to love the shots. I am for the first time shooting in a couple of months also somewhat satisfied with my shooting. Wich I needed, since I managed to screw up the time for a photoshoot the day before and it got too dark, bummer.

So the date is closing in, the 1st of November. Up early in the morning and stay with the bride and groom all day. It's gonna be awesome and the product is gonna be even more awesomer. I'm both excited and a bit nervous, it's a big thing handling someones wedding photos. But I'm pretty sure I can handle it and the couple are as well.

And it's gonna be real good coming home. It's always good coming home. Being with ones family and loved ones are one of the best things in the world.

Lately I haven't really been updating anything here on dA.
I haven't really been shooting that much either, for different reasons. As I wrote earlier I've taken an internship at a studio here in Norway. Because of several conditions I'm traveling from Trondheim to work, wich is about 4 hours with traveling to-and-back everyday. At work I really don't shoot that much, considering I'm an intern. I've been shooting for an assigment, and was the second photographer at a bridal shoot. But nothing to put up on dA.

Second is that for the last two weeks I've been on medical leave because of my back. My back totally fucked up and I had real problems walking at all. It still havent gone back to normal. On Thursday I took an x-ray. I might have inherited my mums scolioses. I'm getting the results either tomorrow or on Tuesday.
Bummer.

Other than that I haven't really been doing much, just chilling out as much as possible and taking some walks to "cure" my back.
There are alot of stuff on my mind these days, wich I will get back to since it highly concerns my photography.

After much studying, much freelancing and much figuring out wich aspects of photography I actually want to work with things are finally looking good for me.On Monday, as I have written earlier, I was having an interview with a photostudio here in Norway. After I was done I felt it went very well. And indeed it did.

Today I got a mail from my now-to-be-boss saying the position was my if I wanted it. So for the next 2-2.5 years I'll be having my internship at Studio G here in Norway. After the years are up I have to take a practical exam wich if I pass will grant me the certificate of completed apprenticeship or craft certificate as a photographer. Wich here in Norway will help me alot on the way to a stabile job.

So I'm quite happy these days. Yeah!

So well peeps. I'm back. Back from one of the greatest weeks of my life. Being at the Hovefestival was crazy. 40.000 people living at the camp and thousands of daypasses. You can imagine the life. Bands playing almost all the time on different stages. Running between concerts, partying all night with people. It's just crazy. And add on the fact I was living in Camp Random with a bunch of my friends and that people loved our camp and was visiting it all the freakin time. Man.

I've uploaded a few shots for you, nothing much, but it's something at least. Shooting at a festival wasn't all that great. Stages are outdoor in the bright sun and in my opinion that doesn't give my photos the feeling I want them to. But some shots I was satisified with. I just finished my case and sent the pictures and text to the paper just a few hours ago. Im hoping and thinking they will be satisfied.

It's been almost a week and a month since I got home from Singapore. My life has been good back home, I've been hanging with my friends and loved ones. I've probably told you all this before, so I wont go that deeply into just that.

It was requested and I've always meant to do it. I present to you a slideshow from my time in Singapore:

It has been quite a job going through all the pictures from the four month long trip, but it was worth it. I've been thinking about all the good memories from my time there. And how much I miss it all, wich is a sad and nice feeling all at once. If it where up to me, I would take my friends and loved ones with me and just move down there, right now! But that's not how life works. I'll keep loving my memories and keeping in touch with my friends down there and sooner or later I will go back. And some of you will come here.

It's seriously not long until I leave my hometown for this summers highlight. Probably this years highlight; Hovefestival 08. Monday the 23rd of June this music extravaganza is happening.
Me and my friends are leaving already the 20th to get good camp spots. As many might have catched I'm also working as a photographer on this event, wich means I get to photograph some of my favourite bands. Avast, this is heaven matey!

I might be doing this Suicide Girl shoot for a friend of mine, wich should be interesting, I've also been talking with some of my friends about taking their portraits. So hello people! It still hasn't gone even a week since I got home, but it feels like I've been home for awhile. I've been spending time with my family and friends, my little brother has grown up so much and is now running around. That little bugger. I've been constantly shooting him since I got home. Also a friend of mine from community college moved to my hometown, so I've done some welcome and intergration. On Friday some of my nearby friends came by and we had ourselves a little party. Yesterday I went on a little trip to this place we're I basically grew up in my summer vacations, since I was about three four years old.

It's been a blast. And I can tell you all I'm so trigger happy these days. I thought that when I got back to old boring Norway there would be nothing to shoot. No skyscrapers, no gigs every weekend or no good place to street shoot. I've been shooting so much. And that's good

Now I'm currently located in Oslo, tomorrow morning I'm having my first, of two, theoretical exams for school. My book is also due to delivery tomorrow. It's great. On Friday I will arrive in lovely Trondheim, to get back with my usual gang. Now, even tho I speak so highly of coming back. There's alot of things I already miss in Singapore. I miss the food, I miss coffe, I miss gigs and most of all I miss my friends. I really do. I hope you guys aren't missing you're norwegian to much. Hehe.

So as I told you in my last journal entry my dream is soon ending. But I haven't just been slacking around since I got here. I've actually been working with a project as well. A book. A photographic book about the singaporean D.I.Y. scene. And guess what, yesterday I got the product from the printshop. And I must say I'm quite satisfied. More satisfied than I thought!



It is really good to see that it all worked out. And that it didn't turned out as bad as I expected (doubting myself is a common thing when it comes to my own work). I've reaped my fruits and got satisfied with the taste for once!

Well, I have to make some preperations for my farewell-party tonight!

As I sit here working on my first photography book, on the singaporean diy scene, it suddenly strikes me (yet again) that I'm soon leaving this place. This place being Singapore.

I've been living a dream for the past 3 months. I've been living in Singapore. In Asia. On the other side of the world of home. It's been wonderful. Not only have I've been living here, but I have gotten to travel to Malaysia with some of my friends and stayed at a friends place. I've experienced first hand a malaysian engagement ceremony, I've dined with my friend's family at their house and I've get to experience how different our cultures is. I've also visited Shanghai in China. In many ways I have grown up alot and gotten quite a new view on life. I've also renewed my passion for what I love to do. And I found my true calling inside my passion (sorry for being overdramatic here).
And I am so thankful to the people that have made all this possible to me. I really am. You know who you are and I really want you to know that this has meant everything to me.

This dream is now closing on it's end. I will go back to reality, wich is my life in Norway. Or rather I'm going back to make a life for myself. My studies are soon over and I'm moving on to the adults world. Working everyday, paying bills and such. And I must say it's a bit scary, it really is. But I am prepared. Cause even though this trip of mine has spoilt me endlessly I know what I am up against. And I will say this; I really look forward to it. Because there is not only the hard parts that awaits me. My family and my friends that I miss so dearly is also waiting for me. And I can't wait to see them again. My little brother has started walking on his own. My two other siblings have grown to. And even tho I have been away from them at long times before, never this long. I miss my parents and the rest of the family and I can't wait to see them either. And last, but not at all least, I miss my friends so much, it's been weird not being able to talk to them in person and hang around with them.

And I write this to you, my friends here in Singapore, already now that I am truly going to miss you. Even though you guys haven't been in my life that long you have really taken care of me. I've felt at home ever since I sat my foot on singaporean land. You're views and values in life is something that has made much impression on me and something I will hold close to my heart. Again, I'm afraid to seem overdramatic here, but it's true. The time spent with you is something that always will be with me. At this point I don't know when I will get to see you again, but I promise I will be back. And of course, some of you have been talking about coming to Norway, what I've said is something you keep, my house will be you're house if you do. And to Martini and Idi, I'm really sad that I didn't get to spend anytime with you, but I wish you all the best with you're baby!

Yet again, tho maybe some thinks it's early, I thank every one of you that has been part of my dream. This has meant everything to me!

So, for some reason, I cant sleep. I don't know why. Im dead tired. So I decided that, well yeah, maybe I should be serious. Do some school work. But what do you know, I ended up here at dA. Even went so far as to search up a cool template for my journal.

As some might have seen Ive gotten a new camera. Finally. After almost 3 years with the EOS 350D Ive moved up in the world. Hehe, well that might be a bit overacting. The 350D has been a good friend and a good tool for me. But now, Ive moved up to the 40D. I was thinking of the 5D, but for me it was a question about speed versus fullformat. Speed won.

For that, Im happy. A new camera. Ah, its delicious. But Im so dead tired, seriously. I need to something else than writing. The letters are seeming kind of blurry and small

Ok, so not really. But I am in Singapore. And Im staying here for a long time. Other than some trips here and there, Im not leaving for Norway before 7th of May. Now thats pretty wicked stuff. But I love it. I really do. Its so good being here. SO GOOD.

Well, yes. Thats what Im doing. Im filled up with school work, Im working with photography now but its really basic so nothing to upload here really. Will come later I guess. Just read through ALOT of stuff about media communication.

I find that the last months my photography really has sucked. Im not improving I feel, Im rather getting worse. Well, maybe its just a phase. Maybe Ill get back on "my feet" again.

Ok, so I know. Im not exactly good at updating my journal. Lately Ive been quite lazy with
updating anything, my blog has been quiet for weeks as well. And I wont promise you that Ill get better either. Cause I am a lazy bastard! Anyhow...

It almost went straight to hell...
Yesterday I was working at a concert with Sivert Høyem and The Voulenteers. It was not
really my day I presume. After Ingrid Olava had warmed up the audience my camera goes on a strike. It completely dies. Luckily Lise ("my journalist") had her camera with her. Yes, jsut need a quick change of lenses and its go. Then suddenly my 50mm F1.8 just fall apart. I dont know what happened, but it fell apart. I lean back and thought to myself, well there it is. Ive flunked it completely, no camera anymore neither my 50mm lens, wich is the only lens I have for working at concert. But then...

A beam of light lights up the entire audience. My lucky day. I switch back to the 18-55mm. The lightsetting on the concert was quite good for me, since I could actually use the 18-55mm kit lense. And usually I cant go infront of the stage, cause then I would block the view of the audience. Then Sivert says to the audience "Cold you help me a bit on this one? Everybody stand up!". Everybody does. I run and slide infront of him on my knees. I got some great shots of him, some of them I uploaded today.

Bad news is, I no longer have the 50mm 1.8 lens and I dont know what to do on saturday for Ligarock, hopefully I get to borrow a lens from the paper. Good news is that Ive gotten good response on the photos I delievered to the paper last night.

Working with music
In other news Im quite happy with my period here at the paper so far. Ive gotten to work alot with music. Ive done 5 cd reviews, 3 cases on different musical activities and been working at 4 concerts. And I still got some cd reviews to do and are currently investigating for a reportage about the music scene in Kongsvinger, my hometown.

And we have also sent for accreditation for the Roskilde Festival. Hopefully we will get it. Wich means Ill be photographing at the Roskilde festival, with free entrance and stay. And pay. This is like a dream come true situation for me. Not only do I get to photograph some of my favourite bands, but I get to work on one of the worlds largest music festivals. Thats a big thing for me.

With this I say good bye for now, hopefully I will upload just as much works over the next weeks as Ive done in the past.

This is going to be a whine-rant with somewhat of a happy ending, so ye be warned!

One and a half years ago I joined up with deviantART with an new account, this one was concentrating only on photography in different forms. From before I had a graphics design account, wich was my doings those years. Back then I had a lot of watchers, friends and commenters wich I interacted with alot also outside of dA. I felt much more appreciated as an artist back then.

I've had my share of views, comments and favorites on this account also. But lately there aren't alot of views or comments on my works or anything. I have a few people, whom I respect and adore the works of very much, who comment from time to time. Here comes my main point. What's the point of uploading pictures if I can't get anyone to see them, give me useful critiques or someone saying that they appreciate my work from time to time? I don't consider myself as a really good photographer or anything, but I just want to know someone has seen my works and someone could comment on them to make me a better photographer.

It's not that I want to be a popular dA man with a 100 hits a day and 100+ views on my pictures everytime I upload. I just want to get that community feeling back, where we shared the appreciation of other people and eachothers work. Together. I'm considering on just stopping uploading pictures here at dA, instead renstrain myself to be just a commenter and art appreciator here at dA. I have alot of people here that do work I'm very fond of (see my inspiration list) and whom I will always be watching. For the time of being I will considerate how much work I will put in holding my dA account up-to-date. I'm working on an portfolio these days and wondering if I should just stick with that.

But as I've said in the start, somewhat of a happy ending:
I wish you all here at dA, especially my friends and watchers, a very very merry christmas and a good vacation. I know some of you don't celebrate christmas, but I want to give you all a good christmas hug anyhow.

I just recieved a present from my singaporean friends. I miss you guys so much and I think it's incredible that you did something like this for a friend you only spent time with for nearly 3 weeks. I'm so grateful for this! A big shout out to you guys!!!

I know, I've been quite lazy the last few months with updating. So here's a bunch of updates in my life, tho it's not to much either.

The rest of the Summer after my Singapore trip I was mainly working in week and partying in the weekends. The 20th of August I once again put my foot on AFR's schoolgrounds. It was really great to be back. Two weeks after we went to France, for Visage Pour L'Image, wich is the biggest and only (?) international pressphoto festival. It was an awesome experience. After that it was back to school and doing the usual. Every other week almost we studied and worked with school assigments in Oslo, the norwegian capitol. Then I had a week of autumn vacation, it was mainly used to just chilling, hanging with the few friends left here in my hometown. For the last 5 weeks I've been working in the local newspaper, Glåmdalen, wich is a part of my study. It has been awesome to work for so long in a newspaper. This has given me a taste of how it's like to be working as a photographer. I love it and I really know, even more now, that I want to continue pursuing my dream; to work as a photographer. I got one week left at work before I head back to study at my school.

Mega upload
As I've been working for 5 weeks I have alot of new pictures. I'm also gonna send in jobapplication for the next 6 weeks of working practice after new years. Therefor I need to upload much of my works here, to have something to show around. Now the reason I'm writing about this is to explain something about the pictures. These pictures are done for a local newspaper here home, wich means that many of these picture doesn't mean squat to many of you. All I hope is that some can comment on them and give me critique on how to perform better as a press photographer. Every picture will have a comment on what kind of case this picture is linked to. This will also be pictures that evades much from my earlier pictures considering those are mainly made for art, not press. There will be some photo-series that I have been working on for a longer time.

I haven't given up on working with art photos, I'm just really busy working with press these days cause of my studies.

The 12th of June summer 2006 I left my small little hometown in Norway, I was going to friggin' Asia. Singapore, to be exact. This trip was totally sponsored by my dad and my stay there was sponsored by my uncle and aunt. I cannot describe the gratitude towards them for making this possible for me. All I can give is a big thank you.

Singapore was a experience that I wouldn't trade for anything. I have quite the interest in Asia and it's culture, always had and probably always will. Therefor Singapore was quite the perfect country to go to, the feeling I have after being there for 3 weeks is that it's something of a blend of the whole of Asia. The country was warm, I mean, really warm. The temperatures down there was something we've been so lucky to have this summer in norway too, but that seldom happends here. This was however not a problem, I love the summer and this was really summer! I was quite awe'd the first time I went into a grocery store down there, the things I've seen on TV was there, all of it. I rampage'd for pocky sticks (a japanese snack) in the first store I got in. I think I could just be walking through a store down there for hours, just looking at all the stuff that isn't regular here, back home.

I also early learned that the thing to do in Singapore is shopping. It's extremely cheap down there, at least comparing to norwegian prices. I could find brand clothes for 1/4 of the price back home. And I bought! And the food. It's to much, I could write forever about the food. It was so much different food there, from all parts of asia. I fell in love with so much of it and I have a hard time now, not having the possibility to eat it everyday. I especially felt in love with sushi, satay and dumplings. This was also much much cheaper, I could eat my self stuffed for 1/3 of the price here, with drinks.

I've also met some great friends down there. They made my trip so much more than it would be without meeting them. I took so much pictures with them and they showed me good shooting spots etc. They gave me Singapore in much more the local way than a tourists. I ate food I prolly never
would have eaten, at places I wouldn't dream of finding. They also show'd me a kind of underground musical scene, wich I think was pretty cool. All in all it even made my musical side show even more, deeper. I would like to give a special thank you to these peeps, you know who you are and please say hello to those who aren't on dA for me. I really miss you guys and I'm quite eager to save the money to go back again, just so I can hang around with you.

I would also like to include a special thanks to my personal ambassadeur of Singapore, Shahran (=janrystar). He has inspired me so much with his work, his way of things and of course with the way he was eager to meet up and show me around. He has inspired me to follow my dream. Thank you so much, my main man!

With this I end my writings about my trip to Singapore. There's prolly alot more I could write and alot of stuff that's missed out, but this is the feelings and thoughts that linger in my mind.

So a new lens is added to the collection. It's a Canon 50mm F1.8. A really good
lens, a must maybe for any photographer. It takes really sharp pictures and you can play alot with a F1.8 lens, I promise you! I got it for half the price of what it would cost me back in Norway, so quite the bargain. Thanks to Shahran (=janrystar), who even got me a bit of a discount.

I've been hanging out with Shahran alot lately, wich is really cool. I also got to meet Hendra (~obsolotetheory) again today and meet the ever cool Sharil (=groundzer0). Thanks for a good time!

By the way I've also started a new thing in my journal, called the For Inspiration section. Here I will add users that gives me inspiration to do more work and to make myself a better photographer.

Well, I'm leaving for Singapore on Monday. I will be leaving home around 11. The whole trip takes about 15-20 hours, so I will be traveling for quite some time. Then again, it is a bit scary travelling to Schiphol alone, it's the 2nd biggest airport in the world (?) and I alone are to get around there and find my new gate. This friday we had a ski day at school. I and my fellow students went to a place here in Norway called Sjusjøen.
Me and a fellow student went up in the hills to do some photography. I've submitted 11 pictures from this trip + a old one today. Most of them are Press Photography, within sports. There are also some enviroment portraits for you to look at. It was all in all a fun day, with only one broken leg!

I will try to do some more photography as soon as possible. There is a chance it may take some times till next submission. I am at the time quite busy with working with the school's yearbook, wich I am the Editor of.
I'm also working on a website for the school, just an idea for now but if they like it I will have to work more with it.

So my two weeks at the local newspaper has ended. It was a mixed experience, but one thing is sure I learned quite alot. Now I've never had any experience with Press Photography whatsoever before I started working there. So the oldschool photographer there kinda slaughtered me quite much, but that was only a good thing, since I learned from it. Working at a local newspaper isn't the most exciting thing, that's the negative part. Tho, I had an exciting day when I stood ready with my camera taking pictures while a moose with a child came running right at me. I was kinda running backwards taking pictures, luckily for me she took a turn and dissappeared with her child into the forrest.

What I now know is that I have no problem working as a Press Photographer. I think I might be more satisfied with a work inside art or music photography, but press isn't a bad thing at all!

Now I have to go, eat some dinner and then out start the vacation with a blasted party

One week left at school, then I'm leaving for home. I'm gonna be home for 3 weeks, it'll sure be good.
I will miss my friends at school as hell tho, after I got back to school after Christmas I've changed quite
a bit. So there's more fun to miss now. Anyhow, we're gonna have a blast on the local pub this weekend,
as we have the two last weekends (I've become the ultimate-want-to-dance-person at school I think).

Anyhow, the two first weeks I'm gonna work as a Photographer in the local newspaper at home. It's gonna be
quite fun, I don't know if press is quite my thing, but I have considered it very as a proffesion at the same time.
I hope I maybe can get a couple of pictures in the paper those weeks. Guess that's gonna make my grandmother
quite proud, if she sees my name in the paper!

So as you can see, I'm alive and everything is a-okey. More pictures are prolly coming up by next week!

... of the year 2005. It has gone away amazingly fast really. It has been good as well as it has been really terrible.
But for good or for worse, it has all in all been a really cool year. Especially the 3 last weeks of this year has been amazingly good for me despite all the shitty stuff that's happened. I've gone thru alot of tears, but both in joy and sadness. Thanks to all the support I got from Tommy my best friend ever, Katie the nicest girl ever, Agnes my fellow fuckup , Liv Maren the siddis lover and my family, especially my dad. A thank you also goes to my teacher, wich has been really understanding for the stuff that has been happening to me and for making a specially made course in Photo for me to follow the rest of the school year.

A few highlights from '05
- Meeting alot of new friends.
- Getting a DSLR Camera with equipment.
- Getting to know some of the coolest people ever.
- Chritmas eve, a couple of letters that I will keep forever.
- All the good parties.
- Getting to know myself better, for good and for bad.
- Some stuff has happened that has made me quite much stronger.
- Watching my sis, my bro and my cousin really enjoy the Christmas presents I bought.

I wish you all a happy new year and hope you're looking forward to it as much as I do! Thank's for all the visitors
on my site and the comments I've gotten!

Two things:
- I want to thank Tommy for making me feel better thru all the shit that has been, the support he has given can't be replaced by nothing. I also hope he enjoyed the trip we had to Denmark as much as me! Cheers mate!
- I want to say good bye to Katie, whom are leaving for Asia for nearly 3 months early on Tuesday. I will sure miss you(r) as(s) hell (HEHE GOT IT?). Have a nice trip, I dare you not to Big hugs

This has been a very special Christmas for me, for good and for bad. Bad stuff first, two weeks before the holidays my stepmums dad died, I have a very close realtionship to my stepmum so it has been a bit though on me to. As a change from last Christmas, I am now single. It was a little weird not to buy that extra special present this year, but I'm not sad or something like that, I'm doing completely fine.
Also as a change from earlier year I havent been in a Christmass'y mode at all this Christmas.

As for the good stuff. As I told you in October I got my own DSLR camera. This was actually a Christmas present I got in advance, since I needed a good camera for school. So I thought this Christmas, and was still so happy for the camera, would be quite gift free. I was very wrong. I've almost gotten more presents this year than I've done before.

I've got a few special presents for being who I am, wich has been really cool reading the cards wich followed. It's a REALLY great feeling knowing that you really are appreciated. One of these presents where a Canon EF 90-300mm lens (f/4.5-5.6)!
I'm so happy god! I've also gotten alot of cash and stuff.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I haven't used the camera as much as I would like.
I'm gonna try to take some more pictures and upload asap. A the moment I have
a few idea's to take to the studio. I even have a model for it!

I'll upload some more pictures later on. Have some "playing-with-long-shutterspeed-and-lights" pictures ready.

So yesterday I got a big surprise. My dad has been saying to me that I shouldnt buy any camera myself before Christmas. So I thought, yay Im prolly getting a camera for Christmas... but no!
My uncle lives in Singapore and they have them a bit cheaper with better optics and stuff.
So he had bought it with him, I was not suppose to get it before Christmas, but since I was going with school to Røros for mainly working with Photo they thought I should get it right away.

So yesterday I got a new Canon EOS 350D w/18-55mm lens, 1gb memorycard, filters, a simple tripod and a book about how and when one should use the different type of lenses.
And I got it all in this sweet bag I can have the camera in and stuff

Im so happy! I have uploaded some pictures already, but hadnt had the time for taking that much photo´s yet, since I got it yesterday and where at a party so didnt want to bring it there.

shots since last time, but I have been quite busy at school so haven't had the best time to fix them
up for dA. It will come, no worries

At the moment I'm without a computer, I'm just surfin and turfin where I can find the time to
borrow one. I am currently waiting for my iBook from Apple. I'm quite excited
In other news I've finally gotten my electric guitar. It looks like a Fender Stratcoaster, but it's
a cheap version. It works for me, I'm a new beginner.

And since I moved out last year that didn't feel so right anymore. I love the feeling of living away.
So tomorrow me and my girlfriend are going to move to a house wich is like
just outside the schoolgrounds. It's quite big, obviously since its a house, and
we're gonna live there all by ourselves. The thing is an internet connection is actually quite unsure. It might be restricted, but at least Ill have one.
I'll prolly post some pics at my webppage when I have settled down.

And... on Friday I turn 20! It's like the last "big" thing of age for me. I get to go
to the lickerstore (20 years age restriction) and buy EVERYTHING. We're going
to have a party on Friday with some of my friends. Tequila for the win

got a brand new Canon EOS 300D camera from her dad, as an early
birthday gift (such a great present, yeah?). So today we went on a trip with
one goal at hand; taking pictures!

is absolutely awesome, the details, the focus, the whole lot is just awesome.

You can imagine this butterfly was the size of your thumb's nail. Gah, I love it.

In other news something has happened here at dA wich I find very funny.
One of the co-founders and co-creators of this very community, jark, has unwillingly
resigned from his position here at dA. No one really knows what has happened
and dA is not coming with any offical news. I just want to say that I support
him and hope everything will turn out okay, for all of us!
