Let's see....Oh I had a great time in Japan those who are interested, Akihabara is so much fun, I got to see some idols singing on the sunday and I gotsome games while I was there, I also learned I know more Japanese than I thought I did so that made me happy ^_^

I just finished the first part of my teacher training last weekend and I already started the second part, so sometime by the summer I should be a English teacher and be on my way back to Japan for a year and gtting paid for it too!!

Works going well on several of my written projects, the most prominent being "Second Requiem" and "Ainokami" (It's only a working title so forgive the lameness of it's name ^_^ The work on the Final Fantasy XI project with is on hold I really need to work through some of the script again so a lot of it is going to go back to the drawing board. Once it's done it's gonna be something special especially if you have checked out the tech demo Phil has made here: [link]

So that should have you all just about caught up, apologizes to Simon since I haven't got your kiriban done as of yet....it's getting ridiculous now, I'll finish that as soon as I have free time so look forward to that ^_^;

1. Well...errr...I don't like drawing with pens at all
2. Errr...I'm not just an "artist" I write aswell
3. I like using pens when I write
4. When I draw I do tend to think about monkeys, but I'm usually thinking of monkeys at most times
5. I read lots of Manga for referance, even if I'm drawing in a Vasquez-esc style (half way through the brown ale this is working out quite well)
6. I tend to draw male characters even though all the "How to Draw Manga" books I have focus on females, especially the How to draw female characters book.(spooky huh?)
7. My art teacher said I was always too focused on the art and not the coursework, which as I look back on it makes little sense
8. When I draw I usualy sit on the floor and use the broken lid thing off of my scanner as a rest.
9.............Oh sorry I was think about monkeys again
10. I have recently started using decent paper to draw on rather than the 5000 sheets for £5 crap I usually buy


Well thats that done and with enough brown ale left for a victory sip

As you have seen with my sprite sheets I'm making a playable game for my Games Design Course. It's called Colour of Night: Crimson Tear a story of a powerful deity who was seperated into 2 different entitys and sent to 2 different time periods.........I guess it'll be best if you play it ^_^

I'm also working on a Disney game with a few friends for a different brief, Lost in Fantasia follows 3 kids who are trapped in the world of disney, before they can get home they have to fix all the changes made to the disney stories......Sort of Quantum Leap meets Disney

I've also started work on my own Manga, which currently has no name, it's about 2 demon hunters, 1 Makato has the power to see when a Demon will breach the realm due to the demon inside of him, the other,Evadne, is his best friend who helped him through all the hard times in his life..........of course I'm only writting the story as my art is no-where near the standards of any Manga. {edit} I've decided on a name for the Manga, at least a working title, "Daeamons of Eden" cool eh? lol ^_^

Well that about covers everything I'm doing work wise so far other than that I've been listening to a lot of DragonForce and watching a lot of Naruto

FINAL FANTASY VII: ADVENT CHILDREN!!!!!

It's fucking brilliant!!!! I seriously suggest everybody should beg, borrow or steal this film. I hate it when people tell you what happens in a movie so I wont say anything. Other than it's brilliant.

So when at work my boss reffered to me as "That long haired Scouser" I wasn't the most pleased.

I'm not saying being from Liverpool is a bad thing, but the first thing you notice about geordies is that in absoluetly no way whatesoever do they sound even the remotest amount like a FUCKING SCOUSER!

It's like saying an American sounds like a South African!

Grrr....anyway the comic is comin on now and ive done several quick drawings of the first strip, and i have done some inking so yay!
