I'm taking Art 3 Photography, so yay new photos! Our first assignment is the series one... "3 rolls of film that's connected somehow." So, I'm doing a forbidden fruit theme... all my pictures have an apple in it. Kinda like a seven deadly sins thing.

We also have to do a studio art thing. I'm doing another mixed media piece. I LOVE mixed media

it's devon's FIRST show tonight, so i'm taking my canon to take pictures!
i want to start trying nighttime photography more... when we did it in class, no one's pictures turned out because i think either the film or the chemicals were messed up. so yeah. nighttime. whoo!

Expect a lot of Mona, since I did two rolls with only her with both my Holga and my SLR. They turned out well, I think. I experimented a bit with a fisheye lens, but they didn't turn out so great, so I don't have a lot of that. I also did some double exposure in my SLR which was pretty cool. And I also have a bit from my famous photographer shoot for class, in which I tried to imitate Henri Cartier-Bresson.

Once I get my film developed I'll also have (hopefully) so pictures from my underwater camera!! I just got back from a cruise in the Caribbean, so I did a lot of snorkeling and took a lot of pictures of pretty fish And sea turtles!

Oh, and I just made prints from my studio project, so expect those soon. They're kind of blurry, and only two came out to a satisfying degree (thankfully I found two, I had to go through lots of paper for it.) I guess I'm not that good at studio lighting, but whatever, I'll get used to it.

I <3 my current SLR, and I also have my dad's old SLR as well as my uncle's...

But I want a Holga so bad! They look like so much fun...
I also want a Polaroid instant camera. The luxury of getting pictures instantly seems like a dream to me :]

In a perfect world, I would be able to afford the Polaraid insant back for a Holga camera, but $125 is not in my affordable price range. I'm kind of pushing it by wanting the $75 multicolored Holga on lomography.com
Really, I'll actually probably wind up getting the cheap-o $35 one on amazon xD

I would have shot panning & freezing today if my loading skills weren't totally LAME and I didn't screw it up so bad I had to throw unexposed film away *cries* It's still an open wound D:
