The :icondarkhorsetournament: compeition has been bulldozing its way forward since may and today the winner was announced; as one of the judging panel it is my solem and honoured duty to pimp out the well deserved winner as much as possible; ~Mutagenaric is a wonderfully adept author who faced down some tough competition over the last 130+ days of gore-fest space conflict, and has won lots of tasty prizes as a result. I thoroughly recommend reading some of the entries, they are worth the time you spend.

On a not completely unrelated note, the DARK HORSE TOURNAMENT LEAGUE is forming ranks as we speak; i'm going to be entering and i extend invitiations to all; it loks like all the face-smashing and crotch-busting fun of the original OCT with the added bonus of flexible deadlines and the pick 'n' mix competitors and/or scenarios. you can do whatever you like and take as long as you and your opponent want to in order to do it. there are seperate roster lists for visual and prose artists so everyone can enjoy.

i think that's it on the whole 'new journal' front; i'm still buzzing with residual victory smugness from :iconda-br: and am gearing up to start kicking arse and chewing gum in DHT/L.

so i pop onto DA.

and find that i've only gone and won DABR:4

i never win anything!

enormous amounts of restraint were employed on the prevention of me cackling wildly and bursting into heroic air guitarrrrrrrr solo down the isle between computers.

instead i'm grinning wildly and typing under guise of excel spreadsheets.

i'd honestly hadn't expected to win this year's competition, there were a lot of veteran players and some quality artists playing the good game.

so massive bigups to :iconinxanity: with a proper good start to his burgeoning writing career with Inx McKevin.

and definately sincere handshakes and rounds of applause to :iconaikin: to did for visual artists everywhere and had great style and the best breaker of fourthwalls this since of Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

anyways- must dash- the lecture's ended and the next lot are flooding in giving me odd looks.
