The magazine thing went good, now I'm just waiting for it to be published. Should hit the shelves in January. I'm so excited; they came and did a photoshoot, and I picked out some sweet tattoos I've done, and did an interview...oh my. I get butterflies in my tummy everytime I think about it!!

Be tuned in to see these things and give me some feedback. I've never really done a 'finished' comic of sorts. They're just going to be little weekly things. I'd like to get good enough with photoshop or illustrator or whatever and make them digital, but I haven't the time or money to invest in that at the moment so they're going to be hand drawn, colored, etc. Maybe I'll watercolor them. Maybe just prismacolor pencils. I don't know yet.

I'm ranting. Debates tomorrow!! oof.

Also, I'm super stoked for September to roll around. My good friend Jimmy and I are taking an epic trip to Southern California and we're going to hit up every major theme park in the area, including, but not limited to: Disneyland, California Adventure, Universal Studios (Jurrasic Park ride!!), Sea World, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Knott's Berry Farm and the San Diego Zoo. I'm so incredibly excited, I can't stand it. We might get to drive a SWEET restored Trans Am while we're down there, Smokey and the Bandit style.

So, so excited.

I've only been tattooing two and a half years, most of which was at a shop that had just opened and so wasn't that busy. This is the first time I've ever worked in a 'street shop' as it were. Sometimes I'm really afraid that I'll get in over my head and be totally lost, but then I pull some amazing pieces out and when the tattoo is all done I'm like, "Wait wtf how did I even do that?"

Crazy.

~OldSchoolFresh brought up a good point. A tattoo machine should never, ever, EVER, be referred to as a 'gun.' It has no mechanical or visual relation to a 'gun.' Technically, it has more to do with a doorbell.

Any respectable, reputable artist will smack you ass backwards if you utter 'tat' or 'gun' in their shop. Word for the wise, just don't do it.

If your artistic abilities were anything like mine, I would actually be affected by your childish and catty comments.

Besides, I know your opinion of my work is affected by previous interaction where I put you in your place, which is far below me. When you brought up the fact that you 'grew up in Family Traditions', I knew right away the kind of person you were, because of the reputation that shop has.

Now, you recruit younger drones to post comments? Why? Mad with ealousy? Pained by the fact that no matter how hard and how often you, or your friends, try to highlight my mistakes, you just dig your hole even deeper.

So please, for your own ego and the sake of your online identity, stop trying to drag me down. You seem to be wallowing in the shallows just fine on your own, and as much as I'm sure you're dying for my company by how bitter and obsessed you are, I much prefer this pedestal you've put me on.
