Thought I'd check in, see what everyone's upto and what not. We're decorating my daughters room. Its been painted a "Tinkerbell" shade of green...not my title for the paint, disneys. Anyway, we went with the Safari girl theme since Erica is very much into animals right now. Zebras are her favorites, she spends several minutes simply staring at zebra pictures. Dad built her a small table and hes currently working on making chairs. When the room is finshed Im going to try and post a couple of pics.

Been reading The Hobbit to my three year old, I didnt think she'd listen to it but she seems to like it well enough. It makes for a good nap inducer anyway . Dad installed our pool, its not all that big or anything special but when the temp hit over 98 we were glad to have it. went to Six Flags last weekend, got a sunburn and a hair wrap. that was the fun part, i chose purple and black as the base colors and silver twined over the two. i thought it was neat. The kittens are all gone, each one went to a good home. Lucky (rescued kitten) is actually a girl, albeit a crazy one. But who isnt? Well thats all i have to say this month so, hope you guys are doing alright and everythings going alright.

Well anyway, the thing i want to draw is a Celtic Tree of Life, with a Celtic cross on the trunk with a fox prancing across the roots. the only drawing ive ever done was still lifes in art class...it didnt end well although i discovered that i cant draw a straight line without a ruler. Spent a couple of hours marveling and laughing about that.


By the way, if anyone already has a design/drawing of that I'm NOT trying to steal your work, I was reading "Tattoo's and Their Meanings" earlier today and the idea got stuck in my head.

Our cat Katrina, who is a tri-color short hair (aka. calico), is expecting her very first litter...yay. The vet says itll be at least two weeks after they are born before he'll spay her. So if anyone lives in texas and wants a free kitten...
