For the contest you have to draw a screenshot which is basically a drawing of a scene with a sentence or two underneath the picture. If you are not sure what that is this is my example

This screen shot can be of a scene from the comic or can be a scene that you have completely made up. the scene can be action based, romantic, depressing, comedy anything be creative. If there is a character that you want to use but i have not done the ref for let me know and i will get it done e.g. demetri




HOW TO WIN

i will be judging the winners pictures on
unique
if the picture shows great creativity and a unique idea that shows that the picture is well thought (and unique , vitally important to win) out this will greatly enhance your pictures chance
characters design
if my characters design has been done perfectly right then this will slightly increase your chances
correct character
show me that you have read the characters ref etc and that you understand the characters personality
BE INTERESTING
make me want to know what the rest of scene would entail or what is going to happen, or what has happened





FAQ (feel free to ask)
-can i use one of my chars in the scene

only if the character if a species found in the comic e.g. shawn dahr dragon, cresand dragon and of course a varg go here for more info [link] AND OF COURSE only if one of my character's is also in the scene

- does the picture have to be finished

yes the picture can not just be a sketch and wip pictures will not (though i would be happy to see them) be entered

-i have a scene that i want to draw but i dont know if it would happen in the comic

go for it i would love to see these pictures trust your own ideas as long as its not something like caine suddenly being nice to a true vargs (without saying why explain in artists comments)





RULES

-The picture can be in any media
-you can upload as many pictures as you want
-it must be completely your own work no tracing stealing etc
-The picture must contain one or more of the true or fallen characters.
-there must be a sentence etc of writing with the picture if you want to put a longer description with it place this in your artist comment box. This can be a basic description to a full blown story.

Prizes

i will choose 3 winners they will all win one fully coloured digital picture of one of there own characters but.. unlike most contest where you say what you get and then get it this will be a surprise i will ask which char you want me to draw but you wont know exactly what the picture will included until its done it makes it far more exciting, you may though suggest something e.g. my character in the forest etc. you will also all receive a 1 month feature in my journal.

new feature

Yay finally got the results of my art course i did a year art course which in the uk you need to do before you do a uni degree level. for the results you either get level 3 or 4 (4 is top) and pass or fail anyway i got .........












yay i passed level 4 with merits so happy now im going to do a illustration course cant wait
