Commission Info

Hey gang, here's the info on my commissions, if you're interested. I am currently full on commissions if you want it done for Christmas. I am not terribly fast, sorry! But if this status changes, I'll let you know.

My prices on commissions are as follows: size 6 x 8in. lineart only--$10. 6 x 8in. color--$20. 8 x 10in. lineart--$15. 8 x 10in. color--$25. That is for ONE CHARACTER ONLY. If you want more than one person in your picture, add $5 to the price per extra character. Please note that the pricing is as it says. A full color 8 x 10in. is only $25, NOT $25 + $15. I think I have some talent, but not that much talent, to charge that much. xD Also note that shipping and PayPal fees NOT included. I will get with you on what those would be. I will only take PayPal at this time for payment of commissions, thanks.

I take commissions only when I offer spots. But it never hurts to ask! Though if I refuse you, it's either because I am too busy, or because I do not feel confidant that I can draw the character you want. If I am unfamiliar with the character you request, I need you to give me character references, pleasekthanks. I watch a lot of anime, but not all of it. I do have to work to pay the bills at some point.

Izumi Con Wrap-Up

Izumi Con, Oklahoma City's anime convention, was this weekend, and it was a blast! I worked my table in the artists' alley, along with my best buds ~Kara-Harper and *Kyoli. We had a perfect spot right up front at the entrance to the artists' alley (thanks to whoever assigned the tables, we LOVE you!) and had lots of fun interacting with con-goers. A big thanks to all my watchers who stopped by and said hi, and purchased some artwork! It was the most profitable con I've worked at yet, yay!! But most importantly, I had fun! My husband and I checked out our friend Clint's retro anime panel, and I walked away from it with several titles I want to check out, the classics of anime! We also attended the late night "after hours" panel with some of the con guests and con directors. Hehe, it was fun, as panels of that nature always are! We had the chance to catch the live-action "Blood: The Last Vampire" movie, which was AWESOME. I really liked it! So, despite working all weekend, I still managed to catch some of the fun activities, and saw so many amazing cosplayers!! If you're my friend on facebook, I will have all the fun photos of cosplayers who wandered past my art table posted there. Oh, and I debuted some new art at the con, which I will post to my gallery shortly. All in all, a very fun weekend! I will definitely have a table at Izumi 2010 next year!

EDIT: I am getting ready to post a bunch of stuff to my gallery, sorry for the spammage! Some of the things posted will seem like repitition, but I'm wanting to post the fanbadge designs with the text on them, in addition to the original artwork. Again, sorry for the spam!

IZUMI CON!

Izumi Con in Oklahoma City THIS WEEKEND! Be there! It's going to be awesome! I will be in the artists' alley again, with my good friends ~Kara-Harper and *Kyoli as Team Fujoshi, fangirling all weekend. I will have a plethora of fanbadges, some bookmarks and mini-prints/postcards to sell, along with what's left of my older prints, bumper stickers and buttons. I'm also trying my hand at commissions for the first time! Wish me luck! If you will be at Izumi, you better come by and say hi! ^.^~

*sighs happily* So, I just finished reading the conclusion to the Tsubasa Reservior Chronicle manga... NO SPOILERS HERE (but beware what might be said in the comments to this journal!) Oh, I want to do more Tsubasa art now! Dang it, I have to stay focused on art table prep though, grrrr. Once Izumi Con hits, I'm sure I'll be drawing more Tsubasa (take that any way you want to! hehe!) Come say hi and you'll catch a glimpse of arts-in-progress! Now I must get current on xXxHOLiC. Hopefully tonight after work!

Lotsa art WIPS, yay!

I'm currently working on LOTS of new fanbadge designs for my art table at Izumi Con in OKC in November! I'm happy my art muse is cooperating at the moment, instead of off reading yaoi like she normally is. I just finished the line art for a fun Watanuki badge (Watanuki from xXxHOLiC), and I'm coloring a Euphemia and a Ritsuka picture (from Code Geass and Loveless, respectively) that I'm pretty pleased with. I plan on offering several badges for the following series at Izumi: Tsubasa, xXxHOLiC, Fullmetal Alchemist, Code Geass and a few random designs from various other series (Bleach, Lucky Star, Loveless, etc.) Make sure you stop by my art table at Izumi at say hi if you'll be attending!

Alright gang, bear with me here. I'm attempting to dress my journal up with a spiffy CSS journal skin. It's either going to be win, or total FAIL. We shall see...

On a different note, a big congrats to =KitsuneKuramaRose for winning my 10k kiriban! Yay! She wins the prize! (Some of my art table goodies, and a doujinshi--not mine, I can't draw one, yet. It's one that I've collected.) A HUGE thanks to everyone for all the continued support here on DA! You all are the best. *hugs*

I still have a few art pieces that are very near completion, and hopefully I will finish them soon, and post them. Real life is always crazy (most of the time in good ways!) and has been keeping me from arting, but I'm trying to make better use of my time. Wish me luck! I hope everyone is having a good summer!
