HELLO ALL

Everyone's been posting journals about the end of the year, so I shall too! 8Db
_{In any case, I look like I just lost a fight and got beaten up because my lip is swollen and broken and I'm limping slightly because the back of my left foot got scraped by the metal bits of a roller chair. -_- Awesome advice : Do not dive into the swimming pool, especially after your goggles get blown off by the impact causing you to close your eyes but continue diving downwards anyway. Lips caught between the bottom of the swimming pool and teeth enforced with braces do not look good after that.}

2009

~~Alright, now that we're done with that.~~ 2009 was a pretty hectic year for me, since I was specifically told by the parental units that cosplaying before my GCE Os were over was way off limits. So I had a long break (close to 10months I believe o_o )before returning to the cosplay scene with Doll \o/

I've only done 4 cosplays this year : (Tamaki hardly counts though)
SOYa - Syaoran from CCS
Shoot - Doll from Kuroshitsuji
AFA - Doll & Zeed from Danzai no Maria
Shoot - Tamaki from Ouran High Host Club

Doll was the most "epic" costume I've ever attempted so far, haha. It didn't help that I was pretty much completing my Doll costume during the most crucial examination period XDD Many thanks to mah cuzzeh ~flozen-lime who lent me her glue gun and let me crash her house to complete my headpiece ~~instead of studying~~

I think I've come a long way since I started cosplaying (I remember being a cosf-cker, haha. But hey, everyone starts somewhere

) and I can only thank all those who have helped me and supported me throughout <3 You know who you are, I LOVE YOU GAIZ :'D

2010 and beyond!

As 2010 approaches, I have a lot more plans lined up so I hope to continue to do my best for them! I also hope to be able to also improve on my standard of cosplay, more accuracy in terms of costume details and character portrayal

HELLO ALL. I'm back from the land of the rising sun and I can't sleep (4am in Singapore now), so here I am. It's been a great week in Japan despite having a pretty lousy tour guide ~~_{skjnvaksjdgn nj DDD8}~~. Ate a lot, shopped a lot and played a lot.

So, while most were at CF having the times of their life, I was in Japan shopping my ass off, heh. Here's proof! Photobucket

So, how has everyone been?

Holidays for me, so far, have been really great~ It's been a looong time since I could just do anything I want without having to worry about not completing homework or something, heh. I've been working on more costumes and props too, but they're probably not going to be seen until the end of this year/next year. I hope I still have enough time to complete everything I want to for this year @_@

As for EOY, I still can't confirm if I'm able to make it because I have an afternoon wedding reception to attend on the same day ;o; *prays her coach gives her more details about it soon* But if I can finish my costume(and prop) in time, I'll be gong as Syaoran from Tsubasa (the clone one I guess, since the artwork was released before the whole confusing cloning thing started), if not I'll be in casual haha.

In any case, I'm going to have a shoot this Monday (14/12) and we (~dearttolife and I) are in need of saikang warriors for our shoot ;o; If you're free in the late afternoon to night and willing to help out, do note/msn/sms/email me <33333 /desprate

So, the very amazing and anticipated event is finally over!
I'm probably more happy than sad, hahahaha. _{I preferred last year's event somehow oTL}

The crowds were HUUUUUGE, like HUUGE. Of course, it didn't help that there was an electronics fair on the same day oTL

In any case, for Day 1 (as mentioned), I went there as Doll with ~Reiyu-verse as Snake from Kuroshitsuji's Noah's Ark Circus! We were ready at a record time of 11am, how amazing is that! 8D Met ~XiaoBai,~greatcucurbita, ~Jesuke and ~k-iricos and her friend while we were in the toilet hahahahaha. _{someone's a geeeeniusss ~}

Well, Day 1 was tiring because flowers x infinity = super heavy. My dress was heavy, my headpiece was heavy and tight. So, by 4pm, both of us changed out and went around the event in normal clothings to enjoy~ \o/

Day 2 was even more tiring. Because I decided to make the fox head for my character instead of just leaving it as a lame fur scarf. Thank god it vaguely looked like a fox head and even doubled as a storage for my phone and wallet while we walked around the event! That, of course, meant staying up a bit later to do it. _{despite that, I think I still had the most sleep out of everyone in my team HAHAHAHAHA /shot}

Anyway, THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE <3 EVERYONE WAS SO AWESOMEZZXZXZ TODAY! Our team was cosplaying characters from the game called Danzai no Maria (the Exorcism of Maria)~ An obscure series, no doubt ._.

~ (i didn't forget anyone, did I? OAO)

But we had fun anyway~ this was also my first time cosplaying a guy who...wears nothing but a vest on top. (= open binding) I spammed skin and surgical tape like a madman and now I'm really regretting it because my back has earned a thumb long wound (god knows how) after I removed the tape a little too forcefully oTLoTL.

Not sure if I'll be able to post any photos because....well yea, we didn't exactly ask any photogs we know to help us~ (there will be some for Doll, thanks MaOo! not too sure about Zeed though /sad)

That said, I'm really sad because I didn't get to meet a lot of people!!! ;o;

SO, 4 more days of mid-year examinations, 9 more papers! Then, I'll probably start on another prop.. hopefully.

Also, I attempted to organize my favourites, by putting them into collections so that I can go fangirl over them whenever I want without needing to sieve through pages and pages of other stuff. However, it was a dismal failure because there was way too much oTL.
But I'll be continuing again probably when I don't feel like stuffing my poor insufficient-memory-spaced brain with useless chemistry knowledge ;D

BTW, phantom : requiem for the phantom episode 12 was amazing! *_* I nearly decided to stop watching it after episode 11 (shan't say why in case of spoilers), but episode 12 totally made me want to continue watching it!

Zwei/Reiji looks really good now, ohohoho~ and the music that plays when he appears is really cool >3
Koukaku no Regios ended with episode 24, and I was really disappointed

CAN'T WAIT FOR HIGASHI NO EDEN MOVIE \m/

bah, I couldn't sleep until 2 or 3 last night despite lying in bed since 12, and woke up at 5 for exams this morning. At least the papers today (emath and literature) wasn't too much of a nightmare.

Look like another sleepless night today since tomorrow is the day with amath and elec. geog, both of which I have yet to sufficiently prepare for. Yes, I had it coming, I know -_-

I'm looking forward to the end of tomorrow, although that only means I need to buck up even more for the rest of the Mid-Year examinations.

Oh well, at least TGX is a few days after my MYEs~ hopefully by then the pimple plantation would clear off along with the incoming eyebags then at least I can go around looking for people to take photos with~

Mmmm, I'll probably update again tomorrow with the usual TGIF post! XD;

THEN WHILE REMOVING THE AWESOME ZACK(from ff7:crisis core, not zac efron prz) POSTER, I REALISED THE PATCH OF WALL BEHIND IT was DAMP and URGH.

It was so gross, but I have absolutely no idea what happened to make the back of that poster SO WET, so much that MY LIGHT PINK WALL STARTED TURNING YELLOW/BROWN D8
ACKACKACK. So I immediately removed the poster and while doing so, the blue tack that was removed together caused the wall paint to CHIP AND FALL OUT.
OMG D8

...thank god the rest of the posters weren't like that -_-
and that the yellow/brown muck can be scrubbed off oTL

Anyway, OMG NEW CHAPTER OF TSUBASA IS AWESOME (;A; )/
and ahahaha, 6 days to midyears and I haven't started studying. Oh bother.

got back from korea about 8 hours ago, heh.

HAD AN ABSOLUTELY GREAT TIME :
1) snowballing down the slope
2) getting snow catapulted into my mouth while doing (1)
3) getting my leg stuck in the netting at the side with no way to get it out unless I released the skis
4) falling over 13 times over 5 skiing attempts

the four points above clearly shows my lack of skills at skiing and that if I wish to live, I should never attempt to do that again.

anyway, of course Korea was much more than that..but I'm way too lazy to type out every single detail

basically, we visited lots of places, did lots of things, ate kim chee everyday (no it's not spicy, ahaha),lots of pork (cutlet) and lots of steamboat-ish things.

I grew fat there

Tiring and crowded, but really awesome.
Saturday was pretty okay, but lesser cosplayers and stuff.
Went as Julius from Ludwig Kakumei. Some person pointed at me and screamed Gakuen Alice

Met new friends and stuff, haha

that's the best part of these events,imo~

Sunday was really packed and crowded though! X_X
Went as Nox, game character in Blind Justice from Pop n' Music

screwed his boots, but am pleased with his sword, haha.
feels good to know that there are people (excluding wonderful team mates) who find the sword I made nice.

Didn't get any loot though, baahhh D:
