what is this?...no seriously, whats up with this browse popular thing, DA has completely changed it, the reason for it's change is for "Fairness", sure it's nice and all to feature new artwork from new members and to help un-recognized categories be known but they are all just picked out like the lottery. because of this STOLEN artwork is being recognized and put on the front page...what's up with that?

but because of this many artists who worked their ass off just to be recognized are being ignored and DA members like me who arn't new...lol decreases my horrible chances of making it to the front page x100

the old system was by most favourites, this is just the same as voting, if your faving something your basically voting for the artwork to go on the front page, the world of art isn't fair, why do you think artists work their ass off to be recognized?...

please help and sign it, i'm totally sick already of seeing stolen art on the front page...if you agree, help by posting this on your journal aswell

7. With the old favorites system people could “build up” and work hard on getting popularity and not rely on an algorithm to nominate them.
People need to work hard to EARN their spot on the Popular page. Not be “algorithmically” selected. The old system clearly inspired people to work harder for their popularity, as stated by many deviants.

okay looks like school is back for me so my request/collabs slots are closed sorry peoples :( thanks to all those people who have given me so much support( you know who you are :D ). but while i'm away doesn't mean i won't be practicing, at school i'm currently working on graphic art and i'm getting a laptop + tablet in about 1~3 months time so you'll start seeing some digital art and clean lineart from me, i'm also getting copic multiliners which ranges from 0.5~0.035(you can barely see it) so i can FINALLY do more detailed lineart since all i've got is this 0.4 haha :D

i take every single comment to heart whether it is just 1 word or a whole paragraph they will have the same gratitude, once again thanks everyone for these past 2 months

-sigh- looks like i won't be getting my internet until i get back to school, thats gunna be in like 4 weeks, and it'll be pointless since i'll be to busy doing homework to do any artwork -__-"

but don worry i've come back with some artwork and requests, i'll scan it at home and bring it with me whenever i go to my granny's or my cousins house via USB since they have the internet

and holy-moly.....over 80+ deviations and messages.....i'll try my utmost hardest to comment and reply to them. lately i havn't been feeling well, i've got this one blood-shot right eye, therefore i get a headache, therefore i stay in bed which therefore i get a sore throat, and it's been like this for more then 10 days.....oh god i hope i get better soon -__-"
